1Και έγεινε λόγος Κυρίου προς εμέ, λέγων, 2Υιέ ανθρώπου, συ κατοικείς εν μέσω οίκου αποστάτου, οίτινες οφθαλμούς έχουσι διά να βλέπωσι, και δεν βλέπουσιν· ώτα έχουσι διά να ακούωσι, και δεν ακούουσι· διότι είναι οίκος αποστάτης. 3Διά τούτο, συ, υιέ ανθρώπου, ετοίμασον εις σεαυτόν αποσκευήν μετοικισμού, και μετοικίσθητι την ημέραν ενώπιον αυτών· και θέλεις μετοικισθή από του τόπου σου εις άλλον τόπον ενώπιον αυτών· ίσως προσέξωσιν, αν και ήναι οίκος αποστάτης. 4Και θέλεις εκφέρει την αποσκευήν σου την ημέραν ενώπιον αυτών, ως αποσκευήν μετοικισμού· και συ θέλεις εξέλθει το εσπέρας ενώπιον αυτών, ως οι εξερχόμενοι εις μετοικισμόν. 5Ενώπιον αυτών κάμε διόρυγμα εν τω τοίχω και έκφερε δι' αυτού. 6Ενώπιον αυτών θέλεις σηκώσει αυτήν επ' ώμων, και θέλεις εκφέρει, ενώ σκοτάζει· θέλεις σκεπάσει το πρόσωπόν σου και δεν θέλεις ιδεί την γήν· διότι σε έδωκα σημείον εις τον οίκον Ισραήλ. 7Και έκαμον ως προσετάχθην· έφερα έξω την αποσκευήν μου την ημέραν ως αποσκευήν μετοικισμού, και το εσπέρας έκαμον εις εμαυτόν διόρυγμα εν τω τοίχω διά της χειρός· εξέφερα αυτήν ενώ εσκόταζεν, ενώπιον αυτών εσήκωσα αυτήν επ' ώμων. 8Και το πρωΐ έγεινε λόγος Κυρίου προς εμέ λέγων, 9Υιέ ανθρώπου, ο οίκος Ισραήλ, ο οίκος ο αποστάτης, δεν είπε προς σε, Συ τι κάμνεις; 10ειπέ προς αυτούς, Ούτω λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός· Το φορτίον τούτο αποβλέπει τον άρχοντα τον εν Ιερουσαλήμ και άπαντα τον οίκον Ισραήλ, οίτινες είναι μεταξύ αυτών. 11Ειπέ, Εγώ είμαι το σημείόν σας· καθώς εγώ έκαμον, ούτω θέλει γείνει εις αυτούς· εις μετοικεσίαν και εις αιχμαλωσίαν θέλουσιν υπάγει. 12Και ο άρχων ο μεταξύ αυτών θέλει φορτωθή επ' ώμων, ενώ σκοτάζει, και θέλει εκφέρει· θέλουσι διορύξει τον τοίχον διά να εκφέρωσι δι' αυτού· θέλει σκεπάσει το πρόσωπον αυτού, διά να μη ίδη την γην με τους οφθαλμούς αυτού. 13Θέλω όμως εξαπλώσει το δίκτυόν μου επ' αυτόν, και θέλει πιασθή εις τα βρόχιά μου· και θέλω φέρει αυτόν εις την Βαβυλώνα, την γην των Χαλδαίων· αλλά δεν θέλει ιδεί αυτήν και εκεί θέλει αποθάνει. 14Και θέλω διασπείρει εις πάντα άνεμον πάντας τους περί αυτόν διά να βοηθώσιν αυτόν και πάσας τας δυνάμεις αυτού· και θέλω γυμνώσει μάχαιραν όπισθεν αυτών. 15Και θέλουσι γνωρίσει ότι εγώ είμαι ο Κύριος, όταν διασκορπίσω αυτούς μεταξύ των εθνών και διασπείρω αυτούς εις τους τόπους. 16Θέλω όμως αφήσει ολίγους τινάς εξ αυτών από της ρομφαίας, από της πείνης και από του λοιμού, διά να διηγώνται πάντα τα βδελύγματα αυτών μεταξύ των εθνών, όπου υπάγωσι· και θέλουσι γνωρίσει ότι εγώ είμαι ο Κύριος. 17Και έγεινε λόγος Κυρίου προς εμέ, λέγων, 18Υιέ ανθρώπου, φάγε τον άρτον σου μετά τρόμου και πίε το ύδωρ σου μετά φρίκης και αγωνίας. 19Και ειπέ προς τον λαόν της γης, Ούτω λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός περί των κατοίκων της Ιερουσαλήμ και περί της γης του Ισραήλ. Θέλουσι φάγει τον άρτον αυτών μετά αγωνίας και θέλουσι πίει το ύδωρ αυτών μετά εκστάσεως· διότι η γη αυτής θέλει ερημωθή από του πληρώματος αυτής, διά την ανομίαν πάντων των κατοικούντων εν αυτή· 20και αι πόλεις αι κατοικούμεναι θέλουσιν ερημωθή και η γη θέλει αφανισθή, και θέλετε γνωρίσει ότι εγώ είμαι ο Κύριος. 21Και έγεινε λόγος Κυρίου προς εμέ, λέγων, 22Υιέ ανθρώπου, τις αύτη η παροιμία, την οποίαν έχετε εν γη Ισραήλ, λέγοντες, Αι ημέραι μακρύνονται και πάσα όρασις εχάθη; 23Ειπέ διά τούτο προς αυτούς, Ούτω λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός· Θέλω κάμει την παροιμίαν ταύτην να παύση, και πλέον δεν θέλουσι παροιμιάζεσθαι αυτήν εν τω Ισραήλ· αλλ' ειπέ προς αυτούς, Πλησιάζουσιν αι ημέραι και η εκπλήρωσις πάσης οράσεως· 24διότι δεν θέλει είσθαι πλέον ουδεμία όρασις ψευδής ουδέ μάντευμα κολακευτικόν εν μέσω του οίκου Ισραήλ. 25Διότι εγώ είμαι ο Κύριος· εγώ θέλω λαλήσει και ο λόγος τον οποίον θέλω λαλήσει θέλει εκτελεσθή· δεν θέλει πλέον μακρυνθή· διότι εν ταις ημέραις υμών, οίκος αποστάτης, θέλω λαλήσει λόγον και εκτελέσει αυτόν, λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός. 26Και έγεινε λόγος Κυρίου προς εμέ, λέγων, 27Υιέ ανθρώπου, ιδού, ο οίκος Ισραήλ λέγουσιν, Η όρασις, την οποίαν ούτος βλέπει, εκτείνεται εις ημέρας πολλάς και προφητεύει περί χρόνων μακρών. 28Διά τούτο ειπέ προς αυτούς, Ούτω λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός· Ουδείς των λόγων μου θέλει πλέον μακρυνθή αλλ' ο λόγος τον οποίον ελάλησα θέλει εκτελεσθή, λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός.

1Yahweh’s word also came to me, saying, 2Son of man, you dwell in the midst of the rebellious house, who have eyes to see, and don’t see, who have ears to hear, and don’t hear; for they are a rebellious house. 3Therefore, you son of man, prepare your stuff for moving, and move by day in their sight; and you shall move from your place to another place in their sight: it may be they will consider, though they are a rebellious house. 4You shall bring out your stuff by day in their sight, as stuff for moving; and you shall go out yourself at even in their sight, as when men go out into exile. 5Dig through the wall in their sight, and carry your stuff out that way. 6In their sight you shall bear it on your shoulder, and carry it out in the dark; you shall cover your face, so that you don’t see the land: for I have set you for a sign to the house of Israel. 7I did so as I was commanded: I brought out my stuff by day, as stuff for removing, and in the even I dug through the wall with my hand; I brought it out in the dark, and bore it on my shoulder in their sight. 8In the morning, Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 9Son of man, has not the house of Israel, the rebellious house, said to you, What are you doing? 10Say to them, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: This burden concerns the prince in Jerusalem, and all the house of Israel among whom they are. 11Say, I am your sign: like as I have done, so shall it be done to them; they shall go into exile, into captivity. 12The prince who is among them shall bear on his shoulder in the dark, and shall go out: they shall dig through the wall to carry out thereby: he shall cover his face, because he shall not see the land with his eyes. 13My net also will I spread on him, and he shall be taken in my snare; and I will bring him to Babylon to the land of the Chaldeans; yet shall he not see it, though he shall die there. 14I will scatter toward every wind all who are around him to help him, and all his bands; and I will draw out the sword after them. 15They shall know that I am Yahweh, when I shall disperse them among the nations, and scatter them through the countries. 16But I will leave a few men of them from the sword, from the famine, and from the pestilence; that they may declare all their abominations among the nations where they come; and they shall know that I am Yahweh. 17Moreover Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 18Son of man, eat your bread with quaking, and drink your water with trembling and with fearfulness; 19and tell the people of the land, Thus says the Lord Yahweh concerning the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the land of Israel: They shall eat their bread with fearfulness, and drink their water in dismay, that her land may be desolate, and all that is therein, because of the violence of all those who dwell therein. 20The cities that are inhabited shall be laid waste, and the land shall be a desolation; and you shall know that I am Yahweh. 21Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 22Son of man, what is this proverb that you have in the land of Israel, saying, The days are prolonged, and every vision fails? 23Tell them therefore, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but tell them, The days are at hand, and the fulfillment of every vision. 24For there shall be no more any false vision nor flattering divination within the house of Israel. 25For I am Yahweh; I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall be performed; it shall be no more deferred: for in your days, rebellious house, will I speak the word, and will perform it, says the Lord Yahweh. 26Again Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 27Son of man, behold, they of the house of Israel say, The vision that he sees is for many day to come, and he prophesies of times that are far off. 28Therefore tell them, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: None of my words shall be deferred any more, but the word which I shall speak shall be performed, says the Lord Yahweh.

1Verder geschiedde des HEEREN woord tot mij, zeggende: 2Mensenkind! gij woont in het midden van een wederspannig huis, dewelke ogen hebben om te zien, en niet zien, oren hebben om te horen, en niet horen, want zij zijn een wederspannig huis. 3Daarom gij, mensenkind, maak u gereedschap van vertrekking; en vertrek bij dag voor hun ogen; en gij zult vertrekken van uw plaats tot een andere plaats voor hun ogen; misschien zullen zij het merken, hoewel zij een wederspannig huis zijn. 4Gij zult dan uw gereedschap bij dag voor hun ogen uitbrengen, als het gereedschap dergenen, die vertrekken; daarna zult gij in den avond uitgaan voor hun ogen, gelijk zij uitgaan, die vertrekken. 5Doorgraaf u den wand voor hun ogen, en breng daardoor uw gereedschap uit. 6Voor hun ogen zult gij het op de schouders dragen, in donker zult gij het uitbrengen; uw aangezicht zult gij bedekken, dat gij het land niet ziet; want Ik heb u den huize Israels tot een wonderteken gegeven. 7En ik deed alzo, gelijk als mij bevolen was; ik bracht mijn gereedschap uit bij dag, als het gereedschap dergenen, die vertrekken; daarna in den avond doorgroef ik mij den wand met de hand; ik bracht het uit in donker, en ik droeg het op den schouder voor hun ogen. 8En des morgens geschiedde het woord des HEEREN tot mij, zeggende: 9Mensenkind, heeft niet het huis Israels, het wederspannig huis, tot u gezegd: Wat doet gij? 10Zeg tot hen: Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Deze last is tegen den vorst te Jeruzalem, en het ganse huis Israels, dat in het midden van hen is. 11Zeg: Ik ben ulieder wonderteken; gelijk als ik gedaan heb, alzo zal hun gedaan worden; zij zullen door wegvoering in de gevangenis heengaan. 12En de vorst, die in het midden van hen is, zal het gereedschap op den schouder dragen in donker, en hij zal uitgaan; zij zullen door den wand graven, om hem daardoor uit te brengen; hij zal zijn aangezicht bedekken, opdat hij met het oog de aarde niet zie. 13Ik zal ook Mijn net over hem uitspreiden, dat hij in Mijn jachtgaren gegrepen worde; en Ik zal hem brengen in Babylonie, het land der Chaldeen; ook zal hij dat niet zien, hoewel hij daar sterven zal. 14En allen, die rondom hem zijn tot zijn hulp, en al zijn benden zal Ik in alle winden verstrooien; en Ik zal het zwaard achter hen uittrekken. 15Alzo zullen zij weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben, wanneer Ik hen onder de heidenen verspreiden en hen in de landen verstrooien zal. 16Doch Ik zal van hen weinige lieden doen overblijven van het zwaard, van den honger en van de pestilentie; opdat zij al hun gruwelen vertellen onder de heidenen, waarhenen zij komen zullen, en zij zullen weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben. 17Daarna geschiedde het woord des HEEREN tot mij, zeggende: 18Mensenkind, gij zult uw brood eten met beven, en uw water zult gij met beroerte en met kommer drinken. 19En gij zult tot het volk des lands zeggen: Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE, van de inwoners van Jeruzalem, in het land Israels: Zij zullen hun brood met kommer eten, en hun water zullen zij met verbaasdheid drinken, omdat hun land woest zal worden van zijn volheid, vanwege het geweld van al degenen, die daarin wonen; 20En de bewoonde steden zullen woest worden, en het land zal een wildernis zijn; en gij zult weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben. 21Wederom geschiedde het woord des HEEREN tot mij, zeggende: 22Mensenkind, wat is dit voor een spreekwoord, dat gijlieden hebt in het land Israels, zeggende: de dagen zullen verlengd worden, en al het gezicht zal vergaan? 23Daarom zeg tot hen: Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Ik zal dit spreekwoord doen ophouden, dat zij het niet meer ten spreekwoord gebruiken zullen in Israel. Maar spreek tot hen: De dagen zijn nabij gekomen, en het woord van ieder gezicht. 24Want geen ijdel gezicht zal er meer wezen, noch vleiende waarzegging, in het midden van het huis Israels. 25Want Ik ben de HEERE, Ik zal spreken; het woord, de tijd zal niet meer uitgesteld worden; want in uw dagen, o wederspannig huis, zal Ik een woord spreken, en hetzelve doen, spreekt de Heere HEERE. 26Verder geschiedde het woord des HEEREN tot mij, zeggende: 27Mensenkind, zie, die van het huis Israels zeggen: Het gezicht dat hij ziet, is voor vele dagen, en hij profeteert van tijden, die verre zijn. 28Daarom zeg tot hen: Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Geen Mijner woorden zullen meer uitgesteld worden; het woord, hetwelk Ik gesproken heb, dat zal gedaan worden, spreekt de Heere HEERE.
