1At pagkatapos nito ay nakita ko ang apat na anghel na nakatayo sa apat na sulok ng lupa, na pinipigil ang apat na hangin ng lupa, upang huwag humihip ang hangin sa lupa, o sa dagat man, o sa anomang punong kahoy. 2At nakita ko ang ibang anghel na umaakyat mula sa sikatan ng araw, na taglay ang tatak ng Dios na buhay: at siya'y sumigaw ng tinig na malakas sa apat na anghel na pinagkaloobang maipahamak ang lupa at ang dagat, 3Na nagsasabi, Huwag ninyong ipahamak ang lupa, kahit ang dagat, kahit ang mga punong kahoy, hanggang sa aming matatakan sa kanilang mga noo ang mga alipin ng ating Dios. 4At narinig ko ang bilang ng mga natatakan, na isang daan at apat na pu't apat na libo, na natatakan, sa bawa't angkan ng mga anak ni Israel: 5Sa angkan ni Juda ay labingdalawang libo ang tinatakan; Sa angkan ni Ruben ay labingdalawang libo; Sa angkan ni Gad ay labingdalawang libo; 6Sa angkan ni Aser ay labingdalawang libo; Sa angkan ni Neftali ay labingdalawang libo; Sa angkan ni Manases ay labingdalawang libo; 7Sa angkan ni Simeon ay labingdalawang libo; Sa angkan ni Levi ay labingdalawang libo; Sa angkan ni Isacar ay labingdalawang libo; 8Sa angkan ni Zabulon ay labingdalawang libo; Sa angkan ni Jose ay labingdalawang libo; Sa angkan ni Benjamin ay labingdalawang libo ang tinatakan. 9Pagkatapos ng mga bagay na ito ay tumingin ako, at narito, ang isang lubhang karamihan na di mabilang ng sinoman, na mula sa bawa't bansa at lahat ng mga angkan at mga bayan at mga wika, na nakatayo sa harapan ng luklukan at sa harapan ng Cordero, na nangadaramtan ng mapuputing damit, at may mga palma sa kanilang mga kamay; 10At nagsisigawan ng tinig na malakas, na nangagsasabi, Ang pagliligtas ay sumaaming Dios na nakaupo sa luklukan, at sa Cordero. 11At ang lahat ng mga anghel ay nangakatayo sa palibot ng luklukan, at ng matatanda at ng apat na nilalang na buhay; at sila'y nangagpatirapa sa harapan ng luklukan, at nangagsisamba sa Dios, 12Na nangagsasabi, Siya nawa: Pagpapala at kaluwalhatian, at karunungan, at pagpapasalamat, at karangalan, at kapangyarihan, at kalakasan, nawa ang sumaaming Dios magpakailan kailan man. Siya nawa. 13At sumagot ang isa sa matatanda na, nagsasabi sa akin, Ang mga ito na nangadaramtan ng mapuputing damit, ay sino-sino at saan nagsipanggaling? 14At sinabi ko sa kaniya, Panginoon ko, Ikaw ang nakakaalam. At sinabi niya sa akin, Ang mga ito'y ang nanggaling sa malaking kapighatian, at nangaghugas ng kanilang mga damit, at pinaputi sa dugo ng Cordero. 15Kaya't sila'y nasa harapan ng luklukan ng Dios; at nangaglilingkod sa kaniya araw at gabi sa kaniyang templo: at siyang nakaupo sa luklukan, ay lulukuban sila ng kaniyang tabernakulo. 16Sila'y hindi na magugutom pa, ni mauuhaw pa man; ni hindi na sila tatamaan ng araw, o ng anomang init: 17Sapagka't ang Cordero na nasa gitna ng luklukan ay siyang magiging pastor nila, at sila'y papatnugutan sa mga bukal ng tubig ng buhay: at papahirin ng Dios ang bawa't luha ng kanilang mga mata.

1After this, I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, so that no wind would blow on the earth, or on the sea, or on any tree. 2I saw another angel ascend from the sunrise, having the seal of the living God. He cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was given to harm the earth and the sea, 3saying, “Don’t harm the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, until we have sealed the bondservants of our God on their foreheads!” 4I heard the number of those who were sealed, one hundred forty-four thousand, sealed out of every tribe of the children of Israel: 5of the tribe of Judah were sealed twelve thousand, of the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand, of the tribe of Gad twelve thousand, 6of the tribe of Asher twelve thousand, of the tribe of Naphtali twelve thousand, of the tribe of Manasseh twelve thousand, 7of the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand, of the tribe of Levi twelve thousand, of the tribe of Issachar twelve thousand, 8of the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand, of the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand, of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand. 9After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude, which no man could number, out of every nation and of all tribes, peoples, and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands. 10They cried with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation be to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” 11All the angels were standing around the throne, the elders, and the four living creatures; and they fell on their faces before his throne, and worshiped God, 12saying, “Amen! Blessing, glory, wisdom, thanksgiving, honor, power, and might, be to our God forever and ever! Amen.” 13One of the elders answered, saying to me, “These who are arrayed in white robes, who are they, and from where did they come?” 14I told him, “My lord, you know.” He said to me, “These are those who came out of the great tribulation. They washed their robes, and made them white in the Lamb’s blood. 15Therefore they are before the throne of God, they serve him day and night in his temple. He who sits on the throne will spread his tabernacle over them. 16They will never be hungry, neither thirsty any more; neither will the sun beat on them, nor any heat; 17for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne shepherds them, and leads them to springs of waters of life. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

1En na dezen zag ik vier engelen staan op de vier hoeken der aarde, houdende de vier winden der aarde, opdat geen wind zou waaien op de aarde, noch op de zee, noch tegen enigen boom. 2En ik zag een anderen engel opkomen van den opgang der zon, hebbende het zegel des levenden Gods; en hij riep met een grote stem tot de vier engelen, welke macht gegeven was de aarde en de zee te beschadigen, 3Zeggende: Beschadigt de aarde niet, noch de zee, noch de bomen, totdat wij de dienstknechten onzes Gods zullen verzegeld hebben aan hun voorhoofden. 4En ik hoorde het getal dergenen, die verzegeld waren: honderd vier en veertig duizend waren verzegeld uit alle geslachten der kinderen Israels. 5Uit het geslacht van Juda waren twaalf duizend verzegeld; uit het geslacht van Ruben waren twaalf duizend verzegeld; uit het geslacht van Gad waren twaalf duizend verzegeld; 6Uit het geslacht van Aser waren twaalf duizend verzegeld; uit het geslacht van Nafthali waren twaalf duizend verzegeld; uit het geslacht van Manasse waren twaalf duizend verzegeld; 7Uit het geslacht van Simeon waren twaalf duizend verzegeld; uit het geslacht van Levi waren twaalf duizend verzegeld; uit het geslacht van Issaschar waren twaalf duizend verzegeld; 8Uit het geslacht van Zebulon waren twaalf duizend verzegeld; uit het geslacht van Jozef waren twaalf duizend verzegeld; uit het geslacht van Benjamin waren twaalf duizend verzegeld. 9Na dezen zag ik, en ziet, een grote schare, die niemand tellen kon, uit alle natie, en geslachten, en volken, en talen, staande voor den troon, en voor het Lam, bekleed zijnde met lange witte klederen, en palm takken waren in hun handen. 10En zij riepen met grote stem, zeggende: De zaligheid zij onzen God, Die op den troon zit, en het Lam. 11En al de engelen stonden rondom den troon, en rondom de ouderlingen en de vier dieren; en vielen voor den troon neder op hun aangezicht, en aanbaden God, 12Zeggende: Amen. De lof, en de heerlijkheid, en de wijsheid, en de dankzegging, en de eer, en de kracht, en de sterkte zij onzen God in alle eeuwigheid. Amen. 13En een uit de ouderlingen antwoordde, zeggende tot mij: Dezen, die bekleed zijn met de lange witte klederen, wie zijn zij, en van waar zijn zij gekomen? 14En ik sprak tot hem: Heere, gij weet het. En hij zeide tot mij: Dezen zijn het, die uit de grote verdrukking komen; en zij hebben hun lange klederen gewassen, en hebben hun lange klederen wit gemaakt in het bloed des Lams. 15Daarom zijn zij voor den troon van God, en dienen Hem dag en nacht in Zijn tempel; en Die op den troon zit, zal hen overschaduwen. 16Zij zullen niet meer hongeren, en zullen niet meer dorsten, en de zon zal op hen niet vallen, noch enige hitte. 17Want het Lam, Dat in het midden des troons is, zal hen weiden, en zal hun een Leidsman zijn tot levende fonteinen der wateren; en God zal alle tranen van hun ogen afwissen.
