1At sinabi ng Panginoon kay Moises, Humugis ka ng dalawang tapyas na bato na gaya ng una: at aking isusulat sa mga tapyas ang mga salita na nasa unang mga tapyas, na iyong sinira. 2At iyong ihanda sa kinaumagahan, at sumampa ka sa kinaumagahan sa bundok ng Sinai at humarap ka roon sa akin sa taluktok ng bundok. 3At sinomang tao ay huwag sasampang kasama mo, o makikita ang sinomang tao sa buong bundok; kahit ang mga kawan at ang mga bakahan ay huwag manginain sa harap ng bundok na yaon. 4At siya'y humugis ng dalawang tapyas na bato na gaya ng una; at bumangon si Moises na maaga sa kinaumagahan, at sumampa sa bundok ng Sinai, gaya ng iniutos ng Panginoon sa kaniya, at kinuha sa kaniyang kamay ang dalawang tapyas na bato. 5At ang Panginoon ay bumaba sa ulap, at tumayong kasama niya roon at itinanyag ang pangalan ng Panginoon. 6At ang Panginoo'y nagdaan sa harap niya, na itinanyag, Ang Panginoon, ang Panginoong Dios na puspos ng kahabagan at mapagkaloob, banayad sa pagkagalit, at sagana sa kaawaan at katotohanan; 7Na gumagamit ng kaawaan sa libolibo, na nagpapatawad ng kasamaan, at ng pagsalangsang, at ng kasalanan: at sa anomang paraan ay hindi aariing walang sala ang salarin; na dinadalaw ang kasamaan ng mga ama sa mga anak, at sa mga anak ng mga anak, hanggang sa ikatlo at ika apat na salin. 8At nagmadali si Moises, at itinungo ang kaniyang ulo sa lupa, at sumamba. 9At kaniyang sinabi, Kung ngayo'y nakasumpong ako ng biyaya sa iyong paningin, Oh Panginoon, ay ipahintulot nawa ng Panginoon, isinasamo ko sa iyo, na pasa gitna namin; sapagka't isang bayang may matigas na ulo; at ipatawad mo ang aming kasamaan, at ang aming kasalanan, at ariin mo kaming iyong mana. 10At kaniyang sinabi, Narito, ako'y nakikipagtipan sa harap ng iyong buong bayan at gagawa ako ng mga kababalaghan, na kailan ma'y hindi ginawa sa buong lupa, o sa alin mang bansa: at ang buong bayan sa gitna ng iyong kinaroroonan ay makakakita ng gawa ng Panginoon, sapagka't kakilakilabot na bagay ang aking gagawin sa pamamagitan mo. 11Tuparin mo ang mga iniutos ko sa iyo sa araw na ito: narito, aking pinalalayas sa harap mo ang Amorrheo, at ang Cananeo, at ang Hetheo, at ang Pherezeo, at ang Jebuseo. 12Magingat ka, na huwag kang makipagtipan sa mga tumatahan sa lupain na iyong pinaroroonan, baka maging isang silo sa gitna mo: 13Kundi inyong iwawasak ang kanilang mga dambana, at inyong pagpuputolputulin ang kanilang mga haligi at inyong ibubuwal ang kanilang mga Asera. 14Sapagka't hindi ka sasamba sa ibang dios: sapagka't ang Panginoon na ang pangalan ay Mapanibughuin; ay mapanibughuin ngang Dios: 15Magingat ka; baka ikaw ay makipagtipan sa mga tumatahan sa lupain, at sila'y sumunod sa kanilang mga dios, at magsipaghain sa kanilang mga dios, at ikaw ay alukin ng isa at kumain ka ng kanilang hain; 16At iyong papag-asawahin ang iyong mga anak na lalake at kanilang mga anak na babae, at ang kanilang mga anak na babae ay sumunod sa kanilang mga dios at pasunurin ang inyong mga anak na sumunod sa kanilang mga dios. 17Huwag kang gagawa para sa iyo ng mga dios na binubo. 18Ang kapistahan ng tinapay na walang lebadura ay iyong ipangingilin. Lahat ng panganay sa iyong mga anak ay iyong tutubusin. At walang lalapit sa harapan ko na walang dala. 21Anim na araw na gagawa ka, nguni't sa ikapitong araw ay magpapahinga ka: sa panahon ng pagbubukid at sa pagaani ay magpapahinga ka. 22At iyong ipangingilin ang kapistahan ng mga sanglinggo, ang sa mga unang bunga ng pagaani ng trigo, at ang kapistahan ng pagaani sa katapusan ng taon. 23Makaitlo nga sa isang taon na haharap ang lahat ng iyong mga lalake sa Panginoong Dios, na Dios ng Israel. 24Sapagka't aking palalayasin ang mga bansa sa harap mo, at aking palalaparin ang iyong mga hangganan: at hindi pagnanasaan ng sinoman ang iyong lupain, pagka ikaw ay pumapanhik na humarap sa Panginoong iyong Dios, na makaitlo sa isang taon. 25Huwag kang maghahandog ng dugo ng hain sa akin, na kasabay ng tinapay na may lebadura; o magtitira man ng hain sa kapistahan ng paskua hanggang sa kinaumagahan. 26Ang pinakaunang bunga ng iyong lupa ay iyong dadalhin sa bahay ng Panginoon mong Dios. Huwag mong lulutuin ang batang kambing sa gatas ng kaniyang ina. 27At sinabi ng Panginoon kay Moises, Isulat mo ang mga salitang ito: sapagka't ayon sa tunog ng mga salitang ito, ay nakipagtipan ako sa iyo at sa Israel. 28At siya'y natira doong kasama ng Panginoon, na apat na pung araw at apat na pung gabi; hindi man lamang siya kumain ng tinapay, o uminom man ng tubig. 1Yahweh said to Moses, “Chisel two stone tablets like the first: and I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke. 2Be ready by the morning, and come up in the morning to Mount Sinai, and present yourself there to me on the top of the mountain. 3No one shall come up with you; neither let anyone be seen throughout all the mountain; neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mountain.” 4He chiseled two tablets of stone like the first; and Moses rose up early in the morning, and went up to Mount Sinai, as Yahweh had commanded him, and took in his hand two stone tablets. 5Yahweh descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed Yahweh’s name. 6Yahweh passed by before him, and proclaimed, “Yahweh! Yahweh, a merciful and gracious God, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness and truth, 7keeping loving kindness for thousands, forgiving iniquity and disobedience and sin; and that will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, and on the children’s children, on the third and on the fourth generation.” 8Moses hurried and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshiped. 9He said, “If now I have found favor in your sight, Lord, please let the Lord go in the midst of us; although this is a stiff-necked people; pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for your inheritance.” 10He said, “Behold, I make a covenant: before all your people I will do marvels, such as have not been worked in all the earth, nor in any nation; and all the people among which you are shall see the work of Yahweh; for it is an awesome thing that I do with you. 11Observe that which I command you this day. Behold, I drive out before you the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite. 12Be careful, lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land where you are going, lest it be for a snare in your midst: 13but you shall break down their altars, and dash in pieces their pillars, and you shall cut down their Asherah poles; 14for you shall worship no other god: for Yahweh, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God. 15“Don’t make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, lest they play the prostitute after their gods, and sacrifice to their gods, and one call you and you eat of his sacrifice; 16and you take of their daughters to your sons, and their daughters play the prostitute after their gods, and make your sons play the prostitute after their gods. 17“You shall make no cast idols for yourselves. 18“You shall keep the feast of unleavened bread. Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, at the time appointed in the month Abib; for in the month Abib you came out of Egypt. 19“All that opens the womb is mine; and all your livestock that is male, the firstborn of cow and sheep. 20The firstborn of a donkey you shall redeem with a lamb: and if you will not redeem it, then you shall break its neck. All the firstborn of your sons you shall redeem. No one shall appear before me empty. 21“Six days you shall work, but on the seventh day you shall rest: in plowing time and in harvest you shall rest. 22“You shall observe the feast of weeks with the first fruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of harvest at the year’s end. 23Three times in the year all your males shall appear before the Lord Yahweh, the God of Israel. 24For I will drive out nations before you and enlarge your borders; neither shall any man desire your land when you go up to appear before Yahweh, your God, three times in the year. 25“You shall not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread; neither shall the sacrifice of the feast of the Passover be left to the morning. 26“You shall bring the first of the first fruits of your ground to the house of Yahweh your God. “You shall not boil a young goat in its mother’s milk.” 27Yahweh said to Moses, “Write you these words: for in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel.” 28He was there with Yahweh forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread, nor drank water. He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the ten commandments. 29When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the testimony in Moses’ hand, when he came down from the mountain, Moses didn’t know that the skin of his face shone by reason of his speaking with him. 30When Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come near him. 31Moses called to them, and Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned to him; and Moses spoke to them. 32Afterward all the children of Israel came near, and he gave them all of the commandments that Yahweh had spoken with him on Mount Sinai. 33When Moses was done speaking with them, he put a veil on his face. 34But when Moses went in before Yahweh to speak with him, he took the veil off, until he came out; and he came out, and spoke to the children of Israel that which he was commanded. 35The children of Israel saw Moses’ face, that the skin of Moses’ face shone: and Moses put the veil on his face again, until he went in to speak with him.
1Toen zeide de HEERE tot Mozes: Houw u twee stenen tafelen, gelijk de eerste waren, zo zal Ik op de tafelen schrijven dezelfde woorden, die op de eerste tafelen geweest zijn, die gij gebroken hebt. 2En wees bereid tegen den morgenstond; dat gij in den morgenstond op den berg Sinai klimt, en stel u aldaar voor Mij, op den top des bergs. 3En niemand zal met u opklimmen; dat er ook niemand gezien worde op den gansen berg; ook het kleine vee, noch runderen zullen tegenover dezen berg niet weiden. 4Toen hieuw hij twee stenen tafelen, gelijk de eerste; en Mozes stond des morgens vroeg op, en klom op den berg Sinai, gelijk als hem de HEERE geboden had; en hij nam de twee stenen tafelen in zijn hand. 5De HEERE nu kwam nederwaarts in een wolk, en stelde Zich aldaar bij hem; en Hij riep uit den Naam des HEEREN. 6Als nu de HEERE voor zijn aangezicht voorbijging, zo riep Hij: HEERE, HEERE, God, barmhartig en genadig, lankmoedig en groot van weldadigheid en waarheid. 7Die de weldadigheid bewaart aan vele duizenden, Die de ongerechtigheid, en overtreding, en zonde vergeeft; Die den schuldige geenszins onschuldig houdt, bezoekende de ongerechtigheid der vaderen aan de kinderen, en aan de kindskinderen, in het derde en vierde lid. 8Mozes nu haastte zich en neigde het hoofd ter aarde, en hij boog zich. 9En hij zeide: Heere! indien ik nu genade gevonden heb in Uw ogen, zo ga nu de Heere in het midden van ons, want dit is een hardnekkig volk; doch vergeef onze ongerechtigheid en onze zonde, en neem ons aan tot een erfdeel! 10Toen zeide Hij: Zie, Ik maak een verbond; voor uw ganse volk zal Ik wonderen doen, die niet geschapen zijn op de ganse aarde, noch onder enige volken; alzo dat dit ganse volk, in welks midden gij zijt, des HEEREN werk zien zal, dat het schrikkelijk is, hetwelk Ik met u doe. 11Onderhoudt gij hetgeen Ik u heden gebiede! zie, Ik zal voor uw aangezicht uitdrijven de Amorieten, en de Kanaanieten, en de Hethieten, en de Ferezieten, en de Hevieten, en de Jebusieten. 12Wacht u, dat gij toch geen verbond maakt met den inwoners des lands, waarin gij komen zult; dat hij misschien niet tot een strik worde in het midden van u. 13Maar hun altaren zult gijlieden omwerpen, en hun opgerichte beelden zult gij verbreken, en hun bossen zult gij afhouwen. 14(Want gij zult u niet buigen voor een anderen god; want des HEEREN Naam is Ijveraar! een ijverig God is Hij!) 15Opdat gij misschien geen verbond maakt met den inwoner van dat land; en zij hun goden niet nahoereren, noch hun goden offerande doen, en hij u nodigende, gij van hun offerande etet. 16En gij voor uw zonen vrouwen neemt van hun dochteren; en hun dochteren, haar goden nahoererende, maken, dat ook uw zonen haar goden nahoereren. 17Gij zult u geen gegoten goden maken. 18Het feest der ongezuurde broden zult gij houden; zeven dagen zult gij ongezuurde broden eten, gelijk Ik u geboden heb, ter gezetter tijd der maand Abib; want in de maand Abib zijt gij uit Egypte uitgegaan. 19Al wat de baarmoeder opent, is Mijn; ja, al uw vee, dat mannelijk zal geboren worden, openende de baarmoeder van het grote en kleine vee. 20Doch den ezel, die de baarmoeder opent, zult gij met een stuk klein vee lossen; maar indien gij hem niet zult lossen, zo zult gij hem den nek breken. Al de eerstgeborenen uwer zonen zult gij lossen, en men zal voor Mijn aangezicht niet ledig verschijnen. 21Zes dagen zult gij arbeiden, maar op den zevenden dag zult gij rusten; in den ploegtijd en in den oogst zult gij rusten. 22Het feest der weken zult gij ook houden, zijnde het feest der eerstelingen van den tarweoogst, en het feest der inzameling, als het jaar om is. 23Al wat mannelijk is onder u zal driemaal in het jaar verschijnen voor het aangezicht des Heeren HEEREN, den God van Israel. 24Wanneer Ik de volken voor uw aangezicht uit de bezitting zal verdrijven, en uw landpalen verwijden, dan zal niemand uw land begeren, terwijl gij henen opgaan zult, om te verschijnen voor het aangezicht des HEEREN uws Gods, driemaal in het jaar. 25Gij zult het bloed van Mijn slachtoffer niet offeren met gedesemd brood; het slachtoffer van het paasfeest zal ook niet vernachten tot den morgen. 26De eerstelingen van de eerste vruchten uws lands zult gij in het huis des HEEREN uws Gods brengen. Gij zult het bokje in de melk zijner moeder niet koken. 27Verder zeide de HEERE tot Mozes: Schrijf u deze woorden; want naar luid dezer woorden heb Ik een verbond met u en met Israel gemaakt. 28En hij was aldaar met den HEERE, veertig dagen en veertig nachten; hij at geen brood, en hij dronk geen water; en Hij schreef op de tafelen de woorden des verbonds, de tien woorden. 29En het geschiedde, toen Mozes van den berg Sinai afging (de twee tafelen der getuigenis nu waren in de hand van Mozes, als hij van den berg afging), zo wist Mozes niet, dat het vel zijns aangezichts glinsterde, toen Hij met hem sprak. 30Als nu Aaron en al de kinderen Israels Mozes aanzagen, ziet, zo glinsterde het vel zijns aangezichts; daarom vreesden zij tot hem toe te treden. 31Toen riep Mozes hen; en Aaron, en al de oversten in de vergadering keerden weder tot hem; en Mozes sprak tot hen. 32En daarna traden al de kinderen Israels toe; en hij gebood hun al wat de HEERE met hem gesproken had op den berg Sinai. 33Alzo eindigde Mozes met hen te spreken, en hij had een deksel op zijn aangezicht gelegd. 34Doch als Mozes voor het aangezicht des HEEREN kwam, om met Hem te spreken, zo nam hij het deksel af, totdat hij uitging; en nadat hij uitgegaan was, zo sprak hij tot de kinderen Israels, wat hem geboden was. 35Zo zagen dan de kinderen Israels het aangezicht van Mozes, dat het vel van het aangezicht van Mozes glinsterde; derhalve deed Mozes het deksel weder op zijn aangezicht, totdat hij inging om met Hem te spreken.
