Ezekieli 25

1Neno la Bwana likanijia kusema: 2“Mwanadamu, elekeza uso wako juu ya Waamoni utabiri dhidi yao. 3Waambie, ‘Sikieni neno la Bwana Mwenyezi. Hili ndilo Bwana Mwenyezi asemalo: Kwa sababu ulisema, “Aha!” juu ya mahali pangu patakatifu palipotiwa unajisi, na juu ya nchi ya Israeli ilipoangamizwa, na juu ya watu wa Yuda walipokwenda uhamishoni, 4kwa hiyo nitawatia mikononi mwa watu wa mashariki mkawe mali yao. Watapiga kambi zao katikati yenu na kufanya makazi miongoni mwenu, watakula matunda yenu na kunywa maziwa yenu. 5Nitaufanya mji wa Raba kuwa malisho ya ngamia na Amoni kuwa mahali pa kondoo pa kupumzikia. Ndipo mtakapojua kuwa Mimi ndimi Bwana. 6Kwa kuwa hili ndilo Bwana Mwenyezi asemalo: Kwa kuwa umepiga makofi yako na kufanya kishindo kwa miguu, mkifurahia kwa mioyo yenu miovu juu ya yale mabaya yaliyoipata nchi ya Israeli, 7hivyo nitaunyoosha mkono wangu dhidi yako na kukutoa kuwa nyara kwa mataifa. Nitakukatilia mbali kutoka kwenye mataifa na kukungʼoa katika nchi. Nitakuangamiza, nawe utajua ya kuwa Mimi ndimi Bwana.’” 8“Hili ndilo Bwana Mwenyezi asemalo: ‘Kwa sababu Moabu na Seiri wamesema, “Tazama, nyumba ya Yuda imekuwa kama mataifa mengine yote,” 9kwa hiyo nitaiondoa ile miji iliyo kando ya Moabu, kuanzia miji iliyoko mipakani, yaani: Beth-Yeshimothi, Baal-Meoni na Kiriathaimu, iliyo utukufu wa nchi hiyo. 10Nitaitia Moabu pamoja na Waamoni mikononi mwa watu wa Mashariki kuwa milki yao, ili kwamba Waamoni wasikumbukwe miongoni mwa mataifa, 11nami nitatoa adhabu kwa Moabu. Ndipo watakapojua kuwa Mimi ndimi Bwana.’” 12“Hili ndilo Bwana Mwenyezi asemalo: ‘Kwa sababu Edomu ulilipiza kisasi juu ya nyumba ya Yuda na kukosa sana kwa kufanya hivyo, 13kwa hiyo hili ndilo Bwana Mwenyezi asemalo: Nitaunyoosha mkono wangu dhidi ya Edomu na kuua watu wake na wanyama wao. Nitaufanya ukiwa, kuanzia Temani hadi Dedani wataanguka kwa upanga. 14Nitalipiza Edomu kisasi kwa mkono wa watu wangu Israeli, nao watawatendea Edomu sawasawa na hasira yangu na ghadhabu yangu, nao watakijua kisasi changu, asema Bwana Mwenyezi.’” 15“Hili ndilo Bwana Mwenyezi asemalo: ‘Kwa sababu Wafilisti wamewalipiza kisasi kwa uovu wa mioyo yao na kwa uadui wa siku nyingi wakataka kuangamiza Yuda, 16kwa hiyo hili ndilo Bwana Mwenyezi asemalo: Mimi ninakaribia kuunyoosha mkono wangu dhidi ya Wafilisti, nami nitawakatilia mbali Wakerethi na kuwaangamiza wale waliosalia katika pwani. 17Nitalipiza kisasi kikubwa juu yao na kuwaadhibu katika ghadhabu yangu. Ndipo watakapojua kuwa Mimi ndimi Bwana, nitakapolipiza kisasi juu yao.’”

1Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 2Son of man, set your face toward the children of Ammon, and prophesy against them: 3and tell the children of Ammon, Hear the word of the Lord Yahweh: Thus says the Lord Yahweh, Because you said, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was made desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity: 4therefore, behold, I will deliver you to the children of the east for a possession, and they shall set their encampments in you, and make their dwellings in you; they shall eat your fruit, and they shall drink your milk. 5I will make Rabbah a stable for camels, and the children of Ammon a resting place for flocks: and you shall know that I am Yahweh. 6For thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because you have clapped your hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced with all the despite of your soul against the land of Israel; 7therefore, behold, I have stretched out my hand on you, and will deliver you for a plunder to the nations; and I will cut you off from the peoples, and I will cause you to perish out of the countries: I will destroy you; and you shall know that I am Yahweh. 8Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because Moab and Seir say, Behold, the house of Judah is like all the nations; 9therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on his frontiers, the glory of the country, Beth Jeshimoth, Baal Meon, and Kiriathaim, 10to the children of the east, to go against the children of Ammon; and I will give them for a possession, that the children of Ammon may not be remembered among the nations. 11and I will execute judgments on Moab; and they shall know that I am Yahweh. 12Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because Edom has dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and has greatly offended, and revenged himself on them; 13therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh, I will stretch out my hand on Edom, and will cut off man and animal from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; even to Dedan shall they fall by the sword. 14I will lay my vengeance on Edom by the hand of my people Israel; and they shall do in Edom according to my anger and according to my wrath; and they shall know my vengeance, says the Lord Yahweh. 15Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with despite of soul to destroy with perpetual hostility; 16therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh, Behold, I will stretch out my hand on the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast. 17I will execute great vengeance on them with wrathful rebukes; and they shall know that I am Yahweh, when I shall lay my vengeance on them.

1En des HEEREN woord geschiedde tot mij, zeggende: 2Mensenkind! zet uw aangezicht tegen de kinderen Ammons, en profeteer tegen dezelve; 3En zeg tot de kinderen Ammons: Hoort des Heeren HEEREN woord: Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Omdat gij gezegd hebt: Heah! over Mijn heiligdom, als het ontheiligd werd, en over het land Israels, als het verwoest werd, en over het huis van Juda, als zij in gevangenis gingen; 4Daarom, ziet, Ik zal u aan die van het oosten overgeven tot een bezitting, dat zij hun burgen in u zetten, en hun woningen in u stellen, die zullen uw vruchten eten, en die zullen uw melk drinken. 5En Ik zal Rabba tot een kemelstal maken, en de kinderen Ammons tot een schaapskooi; en gij zult weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben. 6Want alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Omdat gij met de hand geklapt, en met den voet gestampt hebt, en van harte verblijd zijt geweest in al uw plundering, over het land Israels; 7Daarom, ziet, Ik zal Mijn hand tegen u uitstrekken, en u den heidenen ten buit geven, en zal u uit de volken uitroeien, en u uit de landen verdoen; Ik zal u verdelgen; en gij zult weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben. 8Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Omdat Moab en Seir zeggen: Ziet, het huis van Juda is gelijk al de heidenen; 9Daarom, ziet, Ik zal de zijde van Moab openen, van de steden af, van zijn steden, die van zijn grenzen af zijn, het sieraad des lands, Beth-Jesimoth, Baal-Meon, en tot Kiriathaim toe; 10Voor die van het oosten, met het land der kinderen Ammons, hetwelk Ik ter bezitting zal overgeven; opdat der kinderen Ammons onder de heidenen niet meer gedacht worde. 11Ik zal ook in Moab gerichten oefenen; en zij zullen weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben. 12Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Omdat Edom met enkel wraakgierigheid gehandeld heeft tegen het huis van Juda; en zij zich zeer schuldig gemaakt hebben, dat zij zich aan hen gewroken hebben: 13Daarom, alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Ik zal ook Mijn hand uitstrekken tegen Edom, en Ik zal mens en beest uit haar uitroeien; en zal haar tot een woestheid stellen van Theman af; en zij zullen tot Dedan toe door het zwaard vallen. 14En Ik zal Mijn wraak doen aan Edom, door de hand van Mijn volk Israel; en zij zullen tegen Edom naar Mijn toorn en naar Mijn grimmigheid handelen; alzo zullen zij Mijn wraak gewaar worden, spreekt de Heere HEERE. 15Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Omdat de Filistijnen door wraak gehandeld hebben, en van harte wraak geoefend hebben door plundering, om te vernielen door een eeuwige vijandschap; 16Daarom, alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Ziet, Ik strek Mijn hand uit tegen de Filistijnen, en zal de Cherethieten uitroeien, en het overblijfsel van de zeehaven verdoen. 17En Ik zal grote wraak met grimmige straffingen onder hen doen; en zij zullen weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben, als Ik Mijn wraak aan hen gedaan zal hebben.
