1Kisha Bwana akamwambia Mose: 2“Simika Maskani ya Mungu, yaani Hema la Kukutania, katika siku ya kwanza ya mwezi wa kwanza. 3Weka Sanduku la Ushuhuda ndani yake na ulifunike kwa pazia. Ingiza meza na kupanga vitu vyake juu yake. 4Kisha ingiza kinara cha taa na uweke taa zake juu yake. 5Weka madhabahu ya dhahabu ya kufukizia uvumba mbele ya Sanduku la Ushuhuda kisha uweke pazia kwenye lango la Maskani ya Mungu. 6“Weka madhabahu ya sadaka za kuteketezwa mbele ya lango la Maskani ya Mungu, yaani Hema la Kukutania; 7weka sinia kati ya Hema la Kukutania na madhabahu, na uweke maji ndani yake. 8Fanyiza ua kuzunguka maskani na uweke pazia penye ingilio la ua. 9“Chukua mafuta ya upako, ipake Maskani ya Mungu pamoja na kila kitu kilichomo ndani yake; iweke wakfu pamoja na vitu vyote vilivyomo ndani mwake, nayo itakuwa takatifu. 10Kisha yapake mafuta hayo madhabahu ya kuteketezea sadaka pamoja na vifaa vyake vyote; weka wakfu madhabahu nayo yatakuwa takatifu sana. 11Paka sinia mafuta pamoja na kishikilio chake na uviweke wakfu. 12“Mlete Aroni na wanawe kwenye ingilio la Hema la Kukutania na uwaoshe kwa maji. 13Kisha mvike Aroni yale mavazi matakatifu, umtie mafuta na kumweka wakfu ili apate kunitumikia katikati ya ukuhani. 14Walete wanawe na uwavike makoti. 15Kisha watie mafuta kama ulivyomtia baba yao, ili nao pia wanitumikie katika kazi ya ukuhani. Kutiwa mafuta kwao kutakuwa kwa ajili ya ukuhani utakaoendelea kwa vizazi vyote vijavyo.” 16Mose akafanya kila kitu sawa kama vile Bwana alivyomwagiza. 17Kwa hiyo Maskani ya Mungu ilisimikwa katika siku ya kwanza ya mwezi wa kwanza, katika mwaka wa pili. 18Mose alipoweka wakfu Maskani ya Mungu, aliweka vitako mahali pake, akasimamisha mihimili, akatia mataruma na kusimamisha nguzo. 19Kisha akalitandaza hema juu ya Maskani ya Mungu na kuifunika hema, kama Bwana alivyomwagiza. 20Akachukua ule Ushuhuda na kuuweka ndani ya Sanduku la Agano, akaweka ile mipiko ya kubebea hilo Sanduku na kuweka kiti cha rehema juu yake. 21Kisha Mose akalileta Sanduku ndani ya Maskani ya Mungu, akatundika pazia ili kulifunika Sanduku la Ushuhuda, kama Bwana alivyomwagiza. 22Mose akaweka meza ndani ya Hema la Kukutania, upande wa kaskazini ya Maskani ya Mungu nje ya pazia 23na kupanga mikate juu yake mbele za Bwana, kama Bwana alivyomwagiza. 24Akaweka kinara cha taa ndani ya Hema la Kukutania mkabala na meza upande wa kusini mwa Maskani ya Mungu 25na kuziweka taa mbele za Bwana, kama Bwana alivyomwagiza. 26Mose akaweka madhabahu ya dhahabu ndani ya Hema la Kukutania mbele ya pazia 27na kufukiza uvumba wenye harufu nzuri, kama Bwana alivyomwagiza. 28Kisha akaweka pazia kwenye ingilio la Maskani ya Mungu. 29Mose akaweka madhabahu ya sadaka za kuteketezwa karibu na ingilio la Maskani ya Mungu, yaani Hema la Kukutania, na kutoa juu yake sadaka za kuteketezwa na sadaka za nafaka kama Bwana alivyomwagiza. 30Akaweka sinia kati ya Hema la Kukutania na madhabahu, akaweka maji ndani yake kwa ajili ya kunawia, 31Naye Mose, Aroni na wanawe wakayatumia kwa kunawia mikono na miguu yao. 32Wakanawa kila walipoingia katika Hema la Kukutania au walipoikaribia madhabahu kama Bwana alivyomwagiza Mose. 33Kisha Mose akafanya ua kuizunguka Maskani ya Mungu na madhabahu, pia akaweka pazia kwenye ingilio la huo ua. Hivyo Mose akaikamilisha kazi. 34Ndipo wingu likafunika Hema la Kukutania, na utukufu wa Bwana ukaijaza Maskani ya Mungu. 35Mose hakuweza kuingia ndani ya Hema la Kukutania kwa sababu wingu lilikuwa limetua juu ya Hema, nao utukufu wa Bwana ukaijaza Maskani ya Mungu. 36Katika safari yote ya Waisraeli, kila wakati wingu lilipoinuka kutoka juu ya Maskani ya Mungu, wangeondoka; 37lakini kama wingu halikuinuka, hawakuondoka, mpaka siku lilipoinuka. 38Kwa hiyo wingu la Bwana lilikuwa juu ya maskani mchana, na moto ulikuwa katika hilo wingu wakati wa usiku, machoni pa nyumba yote ya Israeli siku zote za safari zao.

1Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 2“On the first day of the first month you shall raise up the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting. 3You shall put the ark of the testimony in it, and you shall screen the ark with the veil. 4You shall bring in the table, and set in order the things that are on it. You shall bring in the lamp stand, and light its lamps. 5You shall set the golden altar for incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the screen of the door to the tabernacle. 6“You shall set the altar of burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting. 7You shall set the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and shall put water therein. 8You shall set up the court around it, and hang up the screen of the gate of the court. 9“You shall take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is in it, and shall make it holy, and all its furniture: and it will be holy. 10You shall anoint the altar of burnt offering, with all its vessels, and sanctify the altar: and the altar will be most holy. 11You shall anoint the basin and its base, and sanctify it. 12“You shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the Tent of Meeting, and shall wash them with water. 13You shall put on Aaron the holy garments; and you shall anoint him, and sanctify him, that he may minister to me in the priest’s office. 14You shall bring his sons, and put coats on them. 15You shall anoint them, as you anointed their father, that they may minister to me in the priest’s office. Their anointing shall be to them for an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.” 16Moses did so. According to all that Yahweh commanded him, so he did. 17In the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, the tabernacle was raised up. 18Moses raised up the tabernacle, and laid its sockets, and set up its boards, and put in its bars, and raised up its pillars. 19He spread the covering over the tent, and put the roof of the tabernacle above on it, as Yahweh commanded Moses. 20He took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the poles on the ark, and put the mercy seat above on the ark. 21He brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the veil of the screen, and screened the ark of the testimony, as Yahweh commanded Moses. 22He put the table in the Tent of Meeting, on the side of the tabernacle northward, outside of the veil. 23He set the bread in order on it before Yahweh, as Yahweh commanded Moses. 24He put the lamp stand in the Tent of Meeting, opposite the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward. 25He lit the lamps before Yahweh, as Yahweh commanded Moses. 26He put the golden altar in the Tent of Meeting before the veil; 27and he burnt incense of sweet spices on it, as Yahweh commanded Moses. 28He put up the screen of the door to the tabernacle. 29He set the altar of burnt offering at the door of the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting, and offered on it the burnt offering and the meal offering, as Yahweh commanded Moses. 30He set the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and put water therein, with which to wash. 31Moses, Aaron, and his sons washed their hands and their feet there. 32When they went into the Tent of Meeting, and when they came near to the altar, they washed, as Yahweh commanded Moses. 33He raised up the court around the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the screen of the gate of the court. So Moses finished the work. 34Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and Yahweh’s glory filled the tabernacle. 35Moses wasn’t able to enter into the Tent of Meeting, because the cloud stayed on it, and Yahweh’s glory filled the tabernacle. 36When the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward, throughout all their journeys; 37but if the cloud wasn’t taken up, then they didn’t travel until the day that it was taken up. 38For the cloud of Yahweh was on the tabernacle by day, and there was fire in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.

1Verder sprak de HEERE tot Mozes, zeggende: 2Op den dag der eerste maand, te weten op den eersten der maand, zult gij den tabernakel, de tent der samenkomst, oprichten. 3En gij zult aldaar zetten de ark der getuigenis; en gij zult de ark met de voorhang bedekken. 4Daarna zult gij de tafel daarin brengen, en gij zult schikken wat daarop te schikken is; gij zult ook den kandelaar daarin brengen, en zijn lampen aansteken. 5En gij zult het gouden altaar ten reukwerk voor de ark der getuigenis zetten, dan zult gij het deksel van de deur des tabernakels ophangen. 6Gij zult ook het altaar des brandoffers zetten voor de deur van den tabernakel, van de tent der samenkomst. 7En gij zult het wasvat zetten tussen de tent der samenkomst, en tussen het altaar; en gij zult water daar in doen. 8Daarna zult gij den voorhof rondom zetten, en gij zult het deksel ophangen aan de poort des voorhofs. 9Dan zult gij de zalfolie nemen en zalven den tabernakel, en al wat daarin is; en gij zult dezelven heiligen, met al zijn gereedschap, en het zal een heiligheid zijn. 10Gij zult ook het altaar des brandoffers zalven, en al zijn gereedschap; en gij zult het altaar heiligen, en het altaar zal heiligheid der heiligheden zijn. 11Dan zult gij het wasvat zalven, en deszelfs voet; en gij zult het heiligen. 12Gij zult ook Aaron en zijn zonen doen naderen, tot de deur van de tent der samenkomst; en gij zult hen met water wassen. 13En gij zult Aaron de heilige klederen aantrekken; en gij zult hem zalven, en hem heiligen, dat hij Mij het priesterambt bediene. 14Gij zult ook zijn zonen doen naderen, en zult hun de rokken aantrekken. 15En gij zult hen zalven, gelijk als gij hun vader zult gezalfd hebben, dat zij Mij het priesterambt bedienen. En het zal geschieden, dat hun hun zalving zal zijn tot een eeuwig priesterdom bij hun geslachten. 16Mozes nu deed het naar alles, wat hem de HEERE geboden had; alzo deed hij. 17En het geschiedde in de eerste maand, in het tweede jaar, op den eersten der maand, dat de tabernakel opgericht werd. 18Want Mozes richtte den tabernakel op, en zette zijn voeten, en stelde zijn berderen, en zette zijn richelen daaraan, en hij richtte deszelfs pilaren op. 19En hij spreidde de tent uit over den tabernakel, en hij zette het deksel der tent daar bovenop, gelijk als de HEERE aan Mozes geboden had. 20Voorts nam hij, en legde de getuigenis in de ark, en deed de handbomen aan de ark, en hij zette het verzoendeksel boven op de ark. 21En hij bracht de ark in den tabernakel, en hij hing den voorhang van het deksel op, en bedekte de ark der getuigenis, gelijk als de HEERE aan Mozes geboden had. 22Hij zette ook de tafel in de tent der samenkomst, aan de zijde des tabernakels tegen het noorden, buiten den voorhang. 23En hij schikte daarop het brood in orde, voor het aangezicht des HEEREN, gelijk als de HEERE aan Mozes geboden had. 24Hij zette ook den kandelaar in de tent der samenkomst, recht over de tafel, aan de zijde des tabernakels, zuidwaarts. 25En hij stak de lampen aan voor het aangezicht des HEEREN, gelijk als de HEERE aan Mozes geboden had. 26En hij zette het gouden altaar in de tent der samenkomst, voor den voorhang. 27En hij stak daarop aan reukwerk van welriekende specerijen, gelijk als de HEERE aan Mozes geboden had. 28Hij hing ook het deksel van de deur des tabernakels. 29En hij zette het altaar des brandoffers aan de deur des tabernakels, van de tent der samenkomst; en hij offerde daarop brandoffer, en spijsoffer, gelijk de HEERE aan Mozes geboden had. 30Hij zette ook het wasvat tussen de tent der samenkomst, en tussen het altaar; en hij deed water daarin om te wassen. 31En Mozes en Aaron, en zijn zonen wiesen daaruit hun handen en hun voeten. 32Als zij ingingen tot de tent der samenkomst, en als zij tot het altaar naderden, zo wiesen zij zich, gelijk als de HEERE aan Mozes geboden had. 33Hij richtte ook den voorhof op, rondom den tabernakel en het altaar, en hij hing het deksel van de poort des voorhofs op. Alzo voleindigde Mozes het werk. 34Toen bedekte de wolk de tent der samenkomst; en de heerlijkheid des HEEREN vervulde den tabernakel. 35Zodat Mozes niet kon ingaan in de tent der samenkomst, dewijl de wolk daarop bleef, en de heerlijkheid des HEEREN den tabernakel vervulde. 36Als nu de wolk opgeheven werd van boven den tabernakel, zo reisden de kinderen Israels voort in al hun reizen. 37Maar als de wolk niet opgeheven werd, zo reisden zij niet tot op den dag, dat zij opgeheven werd. 38Want de wolk des HEEREN was op den tabernakel bij dag, en het vuur was er bij nacht op, voor de ogen van het ganse huis Israels in al hun reizen.
