Ozeasza 5

1Słuchajcie tego, o kapłani! a miejcie wzgląd na to, domie Izraelski! i ty, domie królewski! słuchajcie; bo przeciwko wam sąd jest, przeto, żeście sidłem w Masfa, a siecią rozciągnioną na wierzchu Tabor. 2Owszem, udawając się na zabijanie, przypadają do ziemi; ale Ja pokarzę każdego z nich. 3Ja znam Efraima, i Izrael nie jest skryty przedemną; bo teraz nierząd płodzisz, Efraimie! a Izrael splugawił się. 4Nie mają się do tego, aby się nawrócili do Boga swego, przeto, że duch wszeteczeństwa jest w pośrodku nich, a Pana nie poznali. 5Świadczyć też będzie hardość Izraelska przeciwko niemu; przetoż Izrael i Efraim upadną dla nieprawości swojej, upadnie też i Juda z nimi. 6Z trzodami swemi i z bydłem swojem pójdą szukać Pana; wszakże go nie znajdą; bo odstąpił od nich. 7Wystąpili przeciwko Panu, bo synów cudzych napłodzili; a tak teraz pożre ich miesiąc z majętnościami ich. 8Zatrąbcie w trąbę w Gabaa, i w trąbę w Rama; krzyczcie w Bet Awen: Nieprzyjaciel za tobą, o Benjaminie! 9Efraim spustoszony będzie w dzień karania, w pokoleniach Izraelskich oznajmiłem, że to prawda. 10Książęta Judzcy stali się jako ci, którzy granice przenoszą; wyleję na nich popędliwość moję jako wodę. 11Uciśniony jest Efraim, pokruszony sądem; wszakże przecie ma wolę chodzić za rozkazaniem ludzkiem. 12Przetoż i Ja byłem Efraimowi jako mól, a domowi Judzkiemu jako spróchniałość. 13Skąd widząc Efraim mdłość swoję a Juda ranę swoję, uciekł się Efraim do Assura, i posłał do króla Jareba; ale on was nie będzie mógł uzdrowić, ani was uleczy od rany waszej. 14Bom Ja jest Efraimowi jako lew srogi, a domowi Judzkiemu jako lwię; Ja, Ja porwę, i odejdę; wezmę, a nikt mi nie wydrze; 15Pójdę, wrócę się do miejsca mego, aż się winnymi dadzą a szukać będę oblicza mojego.

1“Listen to this, you priests! Listen, house of Israel, and give ear, house of the king! For the judgment is against you; for you have been a snare at Mizpah, and a net spread on Tabor. 2The rebels are deep in slaughter; but I discipline all of them. 3I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hidden from me; for now, Ephraim, you have played the prostitute. Israel is defiled. 4Their deeds won’t allow them to turn to their God; for the spirit of prostitution is within them, and they don’t know Yahweh. 5The pride of Israel testifies to his face. Therefore Israel and Ephraim will stumble in their iniquity. Judah also will stumble with them. 6They will go with their flocks and with their herds to seek Yahweh; but they won’t find him. He has withdrawn himself from them. 7They are unfaithful to Yahweh; for they have borne illegitimate children. Now the new moon will devour them with their fields. 8“Blow the cornet in Gibeah, and the trumpet in Ramah! Sound a battle cry at Beth Aven, behind you, Benjamin! 9Ephraim will become a desolation in the day of rebuke. Among the tribes of Israel, I have made known that which will surely be. 10The princes of Judah are like those who remove a landmark. I will pour out my wrath on them like water. 11Ephraim is oppressed, he is crushed in judgment; Because he is intent in his pursuit of idols. 12Therefore I am to Ephraim like a moth, and to the house of Judah like rottenness. 13“When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah his wound, Then Ephraim went to Assyria, and sent to king Jareb: but he is not able to heal you, neither will he cure you of your wound. 14For I will be to Ephraim like a lion, and like a young lion to the house of Judah. I myself will tear in pieces and go away. I will carry off, and there will be no one to deliver. 15I will go and return to my place, until they acknowledge their offense, and seek my face. In their affliction they will seek me earnestly.”

1Hoort dit, gij priesters! en merkt op, gij huis Israels! en neemt ter oren, gij huis des konings! want ulieden gaat dit oordeel aan, omdat gij een strik zijt geworden te Mizpa, en een uitgespannen net op Thabor. 2En die afwijken, verdiepen zich om te slachten; maar Ik zal hun allen een tuchtmeester zijn. 3Ik ken Efraim, en Israel is voor Mij niet verborgen; dat gij, o Efraim! nu hoereert, en Israel verontreinigd is. 4Zij stellen hun handelingen niet aan, om zich tot hun God te bekeren; want de geest der hoererijen is in het midden van hen, en den HEERE kennen zij niet. 5Dies zal Israel hovaardij in zijn aangezicht getuigen; en Israel en Efraim zullen vallen door hun ongerechtigheid; ook zal Juda met hen vallen. 6Met hun schapen, en met hun runderen zullen zij dan gaan, om den HEERE te zoeken, maar niet vinden; Hij heeft Zich van hen onttrokken. 7Zij hebben trouwelooslijk gehandeld tegen den HEERE; want zij hebben vreemde kinderen gewonnen; nu zal hen de nieuwe maand verteren met hun delen. 8Blaast de bazuin te Gibea, de trompet te Rama; roept luide te Beth-Aven; achter u, Benjamin! 9Efraim zal tot verwoesting worden, ten dage der straf; onder de stammen Israels heb Ik bekend gemaakt, dat gewis is. 10De vorsten van Juda zijn geworden, gelijk die de landpalen verrukken; Ik zal Mijn verbolgenheid, als water, over hen uitgieten. 11Efraim is verdrukt, hij is verpletterd met recht; want hij heeft zo gewild; hij heeft gewandeld naar het gebod. 12Daarom zal Ik Efraim zijn als een mot, en den huize van Juda als een verrotting. 13Als Efraim zijn krankheid zag, en Juda zijn gezwel, zo toog Efraim tot Assur, en hij zond tot den koning Jareb; maar die zal ulieden niet kunnen genezen, en zal het gezwel van ulieden niet helen. 14Want Ik zal Efraim zijn als een felle leeuw, en den huize van Juda als een jonge leeuw; Ik, Ik zal verscheuren en henengaan; Ik zal wegvoeren, en er zal geen redder zijn. 15Ik zal henengaan en keren weder tot Mijn plaats, totdat zij zichzelven schuldig kennen en Mijn aangezicht zoeken; als hun bange zal zijn, zullen zij Mij vroeg zoeken.
