Hô-sêa 5

1Hỡi các thầy tế lễ, hãy nghe điều nầy; hỡi nhà Y-sơ-ra-ên, khá để ý; hỡi nhà vua, hãy lắng tai! Sự phán xét có quan hệ với các ngươi, vì các ngươi là bẫy ở Mích-ba, và giăng lưới trên Tha-bô. 2Chúng nó là kẻ bạn nghịch đã vào sâu trong sự giết lát, nhưng ta sẽ quở trách chúng nó hết thảy. 3Ta biết Ép-ra-im, và Y-sơ-ra-ên không giấu với ta. Vả, hỡi Ép-ra-im, ngươi đã phạm tội tà dâm! Y-sơ-ra-ên bị ô uế! 4Công việc chúng nó làm ngăn trở chúng nó về cùng Ðức Chúa Trời mình; vì lòng dâm trong chúng nó, và chúng nó không nhận biết Ðức Giê-hô-va. 5Sự kiêu ngạo của Y-sơ-ra-ên làm chứng tận mặt nó, nên Y-sơ-ra-ên và Ép-ra-im sẽ ngã xuống vì cớ tội lỗi mình; Giu-đa cũng sẽ ngã xuống với chúng nó. 6Chúng nó sẽ đi với các bầy chiên bầy bò mình, đặng tìm kiếm Ðức Giê-hô-va; song không thấy Ngài! Ngài đã lìa khỏi chúng nó. 7Chúng nó đã phỉnh dối Ðức Giê-hô-va, vì đã sanh những con cái ngoại tình. Ðến ngày trăng mới, chúng nó sẽ cùng sản nghiệp mình đều bị nuốt đi! 8Hãy thổi kèn ở Ghi-bê-a, hãy thổi loa ở Ra-ma! Hãy la lối ở Bết-a-ven! Hỡi Bên-gia-min, nó ở đằng sau ngươi! 9Ép-ra-im sẽ nên hoang vu trong ngày quở trách; ta rao ra cho các chi phái Y-sơ-ra-ên một sự chắc sẽ xảy đến. 10Các quan trưởng Giu-đa giống như kẻ lấn địa giới; ta sẽ đổ cơn giận ta trên chúng nó như trút nước. 11Ép-ra-im bị hà hiếp, bị nghiền nát trong sự đoán xét, vì nó đã bằng lòng theo điều răn của loài người. 12Vậy nên, ta giống như con mọt cho Ép-ra-im, và như sự mục nát cho nhà Giu-đa. 13Khi Ép-ra-im đã biết bịnh mình, thì Ép-ra-im đi đến cùng người A-si-ri, và sai đến cùng vua Gia-rép. Nhưng nó không thể chữa lành các ngươi, và không buộc vết thương cho các ngươi. 14Vì ta sẽ như một con sư tử cho Ép-ra-im, như một sư tử con cho nhà Giu-đa. Thật, chính ta, chính ta sẽ cắn xé rồi đi luôn; ta sẽ bắt đem đi và chẳng ai có thể giải cứu. 15Ta sẽ đi, sẽ vào nơi ta, cho đến chừng nào chúng nó nhận biết mình phạm tội và tìm kiếm mặt ta. Trong cơn khốn nạn, chúng nó sẽ cố tìm ta.

1“Listen to this, you priests! Listen, house of Israel, and give ear, house of the king! For the judgment is against you; for you have been a snare at Mizpah, and a net spread on Tabor. 2The rebels are deep in slaughter; but I discipline all of them. 3I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hidden from me; for now, Ephraim, you have played the prostitute. Israel is defiled. 4Their deeds won’t allow them to turn to their God; for the spirit of prostitution is within them, and they don’t know Yahweh. 5The pride of Israel testifies to his face. Therefore Israel and Ephraim will stumble in their iniquity. Judah also will stumble with them. 6They will go with their flocks and with their herds to seek Yahweh; but they won’t find him. He has withdrawn himself from them. 7They are unfaithful to Yahweh; for they have borne illegitimate children. Now the new moon will devour them with their fields. 8“Blow the cornet in Gibeah, and the trumpet in Ramah! Sound a battle cry at Beth Aven, behind you, Benjamin! 9Ephraim will become a desolation in the day of rebuke. Among the tribes of Israel, I have made known that which will surely be. 10The princes of Judah are like those who remove a landmark. I will pour out my wrath on them like water. 11Ephraim is oppressed, he is crushed in judgment; Because he is intent in his pursuit of idols. 12Therefore I am to Ephraim like a moth, and to the house of Judah like rottenness. 13“When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah his wound, Then Ephraim went to Assyria, and sent to king Jareb: but he is not able to heal you, neither will he cure you of your wound. 14For I will be to Ephraim like a lion, and like a young lion to the house of Judah. I myself will tear in pieces and go away. I will carry off, and there will be no one to deliver. 15I will go and return to my place, until they acknowledge their offense, and seek my face. In their affliction they will seek me earnestly.”

1Hoort dit, gij priesters! en merkt op, gij huis Israels! en neemt ter oren, gij huis des konings! want ulieden gaat dit oordeel aan, omdat gij een strik zijt geworden te Mizpa, en een uitgespannen net op Thabor. 2En die afwijken, verdiepen zich om te slachten; maar Ik zal hun allen een tuchtmeester zijn. 3Ik ken Efraim, en Israel is voor Mij niet verborgen; dat gij, o Efraim! nu hoereert, en Israel verontreinigd is. 4Zij stellen hun handelingen niet aan, om zich tot hun God te bekeren; want de geest der hoererijen is in het midden van hen, en den HEERE kennen zij niet. 5Dies zal Israel hovaardij in zijn aangezicht getuigen; en Israel en Efraim zullen vallen door hun ongerechtigheid; ook zal Juda met hen vallen. 6Met hun schapen, en met hun runderen zullen zij dan gaan, om den HEERE te zoeken, maar niet vinden; Hij heeft Zich van hen onttrokken. 7Zij hebben trouwelooslijk gehandeld tegen den HEERE; want zij hebben vreemde kinderen gewonnen; nu zal hen de nieuwe maand verteren met hun delen. 8Blaast de bazuin te Gibea, de trompet te Rama; roept luide te Beth-Aven; achter u, Benjamin! 9Efraim zal tot verwoesting worden, ten dage der straf; onder de stammen Israels heb Ik bekend gemaakt, dat gewis is. 10De vorsten van Juda zijn geworden, gelijk die de landpalen verrukken; Ik zal Mijn verbolgenheid, als water, over hen uitgieten. 11Efraim is verdrukt, hij is verpletterd met recht; want hij heeft zo gewild; hij heeft gewandeld naar het gebod. 12Daarom zal Ik Efraim zijn als een mot, en den huize van Juda als een verrotting. 13Als Efraim zijn krankheid zag, en Juda zijn gezwel, zo toog Efraim tot Assur, en hij zond tot den koning Jareb; maar die zal ulieden niet kunnen genezen, en zal het gezwel van ulieden niet helen. 14Want Ik zal Efraim zijn als een felle leeuw, en den huize van Juda als een jonge leeuw; Ik, Ik zal verscheuren en henengaan; Ik zal wegvoeren, en er zal geen redder zijn. 15Ik zal henengaan en keren weder tot Mijn plaats, totdat zij zichzelven schuldig kennen en Mijn aangezicht zoeken; als hun bange zal zijn, zullen zij Mij vroeg zoeken.
