Oseas 5

1SACERDOTES, oid esto, y estad atentos, casa de Israel; y casa del rey, escuchad: porque á vosotros es el juicio, pues habéis sido lazo en Mizpa, y red extendida sobre Tabor. 2Y haciendo víctimas han bajado hasta el profundo: por tanto yo seré la corrección de todos ellos. 3Yo conozco á Ephraim, é Israel no me es desconocido: porque ahora, oh Ephraim, has fornicado, y se ha contaminado Israel. 4No pondrán sus pensamientos en volverse á su Dios, porque espíritu de fornicación está en medio de ellos, y no conocen á Jehová. 5Y la soberbia de Israel le desmentirá en su cara: é Israel y Ephraim tropezarán en su pecado: tropezará también Judá con ellos. 6Con sus ovejas y con sus vacas andarán buscando á Jehová, y no le hallarán; apartóse de ellos. 7Contra Jehová prevaricaron, porque hijos extraños han engendrado: ahora los devorará un mes con sus heredades. 8Tocad bocina en Gabaa, trompeta en Ramá: sonad tambor en Beth-aven: tras ti, oh Benjamín. 9Ephraim será asolado el día del castigo: en las tribus de Israel hice conocer verdad. 10Los príncipes de Judá fueron como los que traspasan mojones: derramaré sobre ellos como agua mi ira. 11Ephraim es vejado, quebrantado en juicio, porque quiso andar en pos de mandamientos. 12Yo pues seré como polilla á Ephraim, y como carcoma á la casa de Judá. 13Y verá Ephraim su enfermedad, y Judá su llaga: irá entonces Ephraim al Assur, y enviará al rey Jareb; mas él no os podrá sanar, ni os curará la llaga. 14Porque yo seré como león á Ephraim, y como cachorro de león á la casa de Judá: yo, yo arrebataré, y andaré; tomaré, y no habrá quien liberte. 15Andaré, y tornaré á mi lugar hasta que conozcan su pecado, y busquen mi rostro. En su angustia madrugarán á mí.

1“Listen to this, you priests! Listen, house of Israel, and give ear, house of the king! For the judgment is against you; for you have been a snare at Mizpah, and a net spread on Tabor. 2The rebels are deep in slaughter; but I discipline all of them. 3I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hidden from me; for now, Ephraim, you have played the prostitute. Israel is defiled. 4Their deeds won’t allow them to turn to their God; for the spirit of prostitution is within them, and they don’t know Yahweh. 5The pride of Israel testifies to his face. Therefore Israel and Ephraim will stumble in their iniquity. Judah also will stumble with them. 6They will go with their flocks and with their herds to seek Yahweh; but they won’t find him. He has withdrawn himself from them. 7They are unfaithful to Yahweh; for they have borne illegitimate children. Now the new moon will devour them with their fields. 8“Blow the cornet in Gibeah, and the trumpet in Ramah! Sound a battle cry at Beth Aven, behind you, Benjamin! 9Ephraim will become a desolation in the day of rebuke. Among the tribes of Israel, I have made known that which will surely be. 10The princes of Judah are like those who remove a landmark. I will pour out my wrath on them like water. 11Ephraim is oppressed, he is crushed in judgment; Because he is intent in his pursuit of idols. 12Therefore I am to Ephraim like a moth, and to the house of Judah like rottenness. 13“When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah his wound, Then Ephraim went to Assyria, and sent to king Jareb: but he is not able to heal you, neither will he cure you of your wound. 14For I will be to Ephraim like a lion, and like a young lion to the house of Judah. I myself will tear in pieces and go away. I will carry off, and there will be no one to deliver. 15I will go and return to my place, until they acknowledge their offense, and seek my face. In their affliction they will seek me earnestly.”

1Hoort dit, gij priesters! en merkt op, gij huis Israels! en neemt ter oren, gij huis des konings! want ulieden gaat dit oordeel aan, omdat gij een strik zijt geworden te Mizpa, en een uitgespannen net op Thabor. 2En die afwijken, verdiepen zich om te slachten; maar Ik zal hun allen een tuchtmeester zijn. 3Ik ken Efraim, en Israel is voor Mij niet verborgen; dat gij, o Efraim! nu hoereert, en Israel verontreinigd is. 4Zij stellen hun handelingen niet aan, om zich tot hun God te bekeren; want de geest der hoererijen is in het midden van hen, en den HEERE kennen zij niet. 5Dies zal Israel hovaardij in zijn aangezicht getuigen; en Israel en Efraim zullen vallen door hun ongerechtigheid; ook zal Juda met hen vallen. 6Met hun schapen, en met hun runderen zullen zij dan gaan, om den HEERE te zoeken, maar niet vinden; Hij heeft Zich van hen onttrokken. 7Zij hebben trouwelooslijk gehandeld tegen den HEERE; want zij hebben vreemde kinderen gewonnen; nu zal hen de nieuwe maand verteren met hun delen. 8Blaast de bazuin te Gibea, de trompet te Rama; roept luide te Beth-Aven; achter u, Benjamin! 9Efraim zal tot verwoesting worden, ten dage der straf; onder de stammen Israels heb Ik bekend gemaakt, dat gewis is. 10De vorsten van Juda zijn geworden, gelijk die de landpalen verrukken; Ik zal Mijn verbolgenheid, als water, over hen uitgieten. 11Efraim is verdrukt, hij is verpletterd met recht; want hij heeft zo gewild; hij heeft gewandeld naar het gebod. 12Daarom zal Ik Efraim zijn als een mot, en den huize van Juda als een verrotting. 13Als Efraim zijn krankheid zag, en Juda zijn gezwel, zo toog Efraim tot Assur, en hij zond tot den koning Jareb; maar die zal ulieden niet kunnen genezen, en zal het gezwel van ulieden niet helen. 14Want Ik zal Efraim zijn als een felle leeuw, en den huize van Juda als een jonge leeuw; Ik, Ik zal verscheuren en henengaan; Ik zal wegvoeren, en er zal geen redder zijn. 15Ik zal henengaan en keren weder tot Mijn plaats, totdat zij zichzelven schuldig kennen en Mijn aangezicht zoeken; als hun bange zal zijn, zullen zij Mij vroeg zoeken.
