1L’Éternel parla à Moïse, dans le désert de Sinaï, le premier mois de la seconde année après leur sortie du pays d’Égypte. 2Il dit : Que les enfants d’Israël célèbrent la Pâque au temps fixé. 3Vous la célébrerez au temps fixé, le quatorzième jour de ce mois, entre les deux soirs ; vous la célébrerez selon toutes les lois et toutes les ordonnances qui s’y rapportent. 4Moïse parla aux enfants d’Israël, afin qu’ils célébrassent la Pâque. 5Et ils célébrèrent la Pâque le quatorzième jour du premier mois, entre les deux soirs, dans le désert de Sinaï ; les enfants d’Israël se conformèrent à tous les ordres que l’Éternel avait donnés à Moïse. 6Il y eut des hommes qui, se trouvant impurs à cause d’un mort, ne pouvaient pas célébrer la Pâque ce jour-là. Ils se présentèrent le même jour devant Moïse et Aaron ; 7et ces hommes dirent à Moïse : Nous sommes impurs à cause d’un mort ; pourquoi serions-nous privés de présenter au temps fixé l’offrande de l’Éternel au milieu des enfants d’Israël ? 8Moïse leur dit : Attendez que je sache ce que l’Éternel vous ordonne. 9Et l’Éternel parla à Moïse, et dit : 10Parle aux enfants d’Israël, et dis-leur : Si quelqu’un d’entre vous ou de vos descendants est impur à cause d’un mort, ou est en voyage dans le lointain, il célébrera la Pâque en l’honneur de l’Éternel. 11C’est au second mois qu’ils la célébreront, le quatorzième jour, entre les deux soirs ; ils la mangeront avec des pains sans levain et des herbes amères. 12Ils n’en laisseront rien jusqu’au matin, et ils n’en briseront aucun os. Ils la célébreront selon toutes les ordonnances de la Pâque. 13Si celui qui est pur et qui n’est pas en voyage s’abstient de célébrer la Pâque, celui-là sera retranché de son peuple ; parce qu’il n’a pas présenté l’offrande de l’Éternel au temps fixé, cet homme-là portera la peine de son péché. 14Si un étranger en séjour chez vous célèbre la Pâque de l’Éternel, il se conformera aux lois et aux ordonnances de la Pâque. Il y aura une même loi parmi vous, pour l’étranger comme pour l’indigène. 15Le jour où le tabernacle fut dressé, la nuée couvrit le tabernacle, la tente d’assignation ; et, depuis le soir jusqu’au matin, elle eut sur le tabernacle l’apparence d’un feu. 16Il en fut continuellement ainsi : la nuée couvrait le tabernacle, et elle avait de nuit l’apparence d’un feu. 17Quand la nuée s’élevait de dessus la tente, les enfants d’Israël partaient ; et les enfants d’Israël campaient dans le lieu où s’arrêtait la nuée. 18Les enfants d’Israël partaient sur l’ordre de l’Éternel, et ils campaient sur l’ordre de l’Éternel ; ils campaient aussi longtemps que la nuée restait sur le tabernacle. 19Quand la nuée restait longtemps sur le tabernacle, les enfants d’Israël obéissaient au commandement de l’Éternel, et ne partaient point. 20Quand la nuée restait peu de jours sur le tabernacle, ils campaient sur l’ordre de l’Éternel, et ils partaient sur l’ordre de l’Éternel. 21Si la nuée s’arrêtait du soir au matin, et s’élevait le matin, ils partaient. Si la nuée s’élevait après un jour et une nuit, ils partaient. 22Si la nuée s’arrêtait sur le tabernacle deux jours, ou un mois, ou une année, les enfants d’Israël restaient campés, et ne partaient point ; et quand elle s’élevait, ils partaient. 23Ils campaient sur l’ordre de l’Éternel, et ils partaient sur l’ordre de l’Éternel ; ils obéissaient au commandement de l’Éternel, sur l’ordre de l’Éternel par Moïse.
1Yahweh spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying, 2“Moreover let the children of Israel keep the Passover in its appointed season. 3On the fourteenth day of this month, at evening, you shall keep it in its appointed season—according to all its statutes, and according to all its ordinances, you shall keep it.” 4Moses spoke to the children of Israel, that they should keep the Passover. 5They kept the Passover in the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, at evening, in the wilderness of Sinai. According to all that Yahweh commanded Moses, so the children of Israel did. 6There were certain men, who were unclean because of the dead body of a man, so that they could not keep the Passover on that day, and they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day. 7Those men said to him, “We are unclean because of the dead body of a man. Why are we kept back, that we may not offer the offering of Yahweh in its appointed season among the children of Israel?” 8Moses answered them, “Wait, that I may hear what Yahweh will command concerning you.” 9Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 10“Say to the children of Israel, ‘If any man of you or of your generations is unclean by reason of a dead body, or is on a journey far away, he shall still keep the Passover to Yahweh. 11In the second month, on the fourteenth day at evening they shall keep it; they shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs. 12They shall leave none of it until the morning, nor break a bone of it. According to all the statute of the Passover they shall keep it. 13But the man who is clean, and is not on a journey, and fails to keep the Passover, that soul shall be cut off from his people. Because he didn’t offer the offering of Yahweh in its appointed season, that man shall bear his sin. 14“‘If a foreigner lives among you, and desires to keep the Passover to Yahweh; according to the statute of the Passover, and according to its ordinance, so shall he do. You shall have one statute, both for the foreigner, and for him who is born in the land.’” 15On the day that the tabernacle was raised up, the cloud covered the tabernacle, even the Tent of the Testimony: and at evening it was over the tabernacle as it were the appearance of fire, until morning. 16So it was continually. The cloud covered it, and the appearance of fire by night. 17Whenever the cloud was taken up from over the Tent, then after that the children of Israel traveled; and in the place where the cloud remained, there the children of Israel encamped. 18At the commandment of Yahweh, the children of Israel traveled, and at the commandment of Yahweh they encamped. As long as the cloud remained on the tabernacle they remained encamped. 19When the cloud stayed on the tabernacle many days, then the children of Israel kept Yahweh’s command, and didn’t travel. 20Sometimes the cloud was a few days on the tabernacle; then according to the commandment of Yahweh they remained encamped, and according to the commandment of Yahweh they traveled. 21Sometimes the cloud was from evening until morning; and when the cloud was taken up in the morning, they traveled: or by day and by night, when the cloud was taken up, they traveled. 22Whether it was two days, or a month, or a year that the cloud stayed on the tabernacle, remaining on it, the children of Israel remained encamped, and didn’t travel; but when it was taken up, they traveled. 23At the commandment of Yahweh they encamped, and at the commandment of Yahweh they traveled. They kept Yahweh’s command, at the commandment of Yahweh by Moses.
1En de HEERE sprak tot Mozes in de woestijn van Sinai, in het tweede jaar, nadat zij uit Egypteland uitgetogen waren, in de eerste maand, zeggende: 2Dat de kinderen Israels het pascha houden zouden, op zijn gezetten tijd. 3Op den veertienden dag in deze maand, tussen twee avonden zult gij dat houden, op zijn gezetten tijd; naar al zijn inzettingen, en naar al zijn rechten zult gij dat houden. 4Mozes dan sprak tot de kinderen Israels, dat zij het pascha zouden houden. 5En zij hielden het pascha op den veertienden dag der eerste maand, tussen de twee avonden, in de woestijn van Sinai; naar alles wat de HEERE Mozes geboden had, alzo deden de kinderen Israels. 6Toen waren er lieden geweest, die over het dode lichaam eens mensen onrein waren, en op denzelven dag het pascha niet hadden kunnen houden; daarom naderden zij voor het aangezicht van Mozes, en voor het aangezicht van Aaron op dienzelven dag. 7En diezelve lieden zeiden tot hem: Wij zijn onrein over het dode lichaam eens mensen; waarom zouden wij verkort worden, dat wij de offerande des HEEREN op zijn gezetten tijd niet zouden offeren, in het midden van de kinderen Israels? 8En Mozes zeide tot hen: Blijft staande, dat ik hoor, wat de HEERE u gebieden zal. 9Toen sprak de HEERE tot Mozes, zeggende: 10Spreek tot de kinderen Israels, zeggende: Wanneer iemand onder u, of onder uw geslachten, over een dood lichaam onrein, of op een verren weg zal zijn, hij zal dan nog den HEERE het pascha houden. 11In de tweede maand, op den veertienden dag, tussen de twee avonden, zullen zij dat houden; met ongezuurde broden en bittere saus zullen zij dat eten. 12Zij zullen daarvan niet overlaten tot den morgen, en zullen daaraan geen been breken; naar alle inzetting van het pascha zullen zij dat houden. 13Als een man, die rein is, en op den weg niet is, en nalaten zal het pascha te houden, zo zal diezelve ziel uit haar volken uitgeroeid worden; want hij heeft de offerande des HEEREN op zijn gezetten tijd niet geofferd, diezelve man zal zijn zonde dragen. 14En wanneer een vreemdeling bij u als vreemdeling verkeert, en hij het pascha den HEERE ook houden zal, naar de inzetting van het pascha, en naar zijn wijze, alzo zal hij het houden; het zal enerlei inzetting voor ulieden zijn, beiden den vreemdeling en den inboorling des lands. 15En op den dag van het oprichten des tabernakels bedekte de wolk den tabernakel, op de tent der getuigenis; en in den avond was over den tabernakel als een gedaante des vuurs, tot aan den morgen. 16Alzo geschiedde het geduriglijk; de wolk bedekte denzelven, en des nachts was er een gedaante des vuurs. 17Maar nadat de wolk opgeheven werd van boven de tent, zo verreisden ook daarna de kinderen Israels; en in de plaats, waar de wolk bleef, daar legerden zich de kinderen Israels. 18Naar den mond des HEEREN, verreisden de kinderen Israels, en naar des HEEREN mond legerden zij zich; al de dagen, in dewelke de wolk over den tabernakel bleef, legerden zij zich. 19En als de wolk vele dagen over den tabernakel verbleef, zo namen de kinderen Israels de wacht des HEEREN waar, en verreisden niet. 20Als het nu was, dat de wolk weinige dagen op den tabernakel was, naar den mond des HEEREN legerden zij zich, en naar den mond des HEEREN verreisden zij. 21Maar was het, dat de wolk van den avond tot den morgen daar was, en de wolk in den morgen opgeheven werd, zo verreisden zij; of des daags, of des nachts, als de wolk opgeheven werd, zo verreisden zij. 22Of als de wolk twee dagen, of een maand, of vele dagen vertoog op den tabernakel, blijvende daarop, zo legerden zich de kinderen Israels, en verreisden niet; en als zij verheven werd, verreisden zij. 23Naar den mond des HEEREN legerden zij zich, en naar den mond des HEEREN verreisden zij; zij namen de wacht des HEEREN waar, naar den mond des HEEREN, door de hand van Mozes.
