1Y HABLÓ Jehová á Moisés y á Aarón, diciendo: 2Cuando el hombre tuviere en la piel de su carne hinchazón, ó postilla, ó mancha blanca, y hubiere en la piel de su carne como llaga de lepra, será traído á Aarón el sacerdote, ó á uno de los sacerdotes sus hijos: 3Y el sacerdote mirará la llaga en la piel de la carne: si el pelo en la llaga se ha vuelto blanco, y pareciere la llaga más hundida que la tez de la carne, llaga de lepra es; y el sacerdote le reconocerá, y le dará por inmundo. 4Y si en la piel de su carne hubiere mancha blanca, pero no pareciere más hundida que la tez, ni su pelo se hubiere vuelto blanco, entonces el sacerdote encerrará al llagado por siete días; 5Y al séptimo día el sacerdote lo mirará; y si la llaga á su parecer se hubiere estancado, no habiéndose extendido en la piel, entonces el sacerdote le volverá á encerrar por otros siete días. 6Y al séptimo día el sacerdote le reconocerá de nuevo; y si parece haberse oscurecido la llaga, y que no ha cundido en la piel, entonces el sacerdote lo dará por limpio: era postilla; y lavará sus vestidos, y será limpio. 7Mas si hubiere ido creciendo la postilla en la piel, después que fué mostrado al sacerdote para ser limpio, será visto otra vez del sacerdote: 8Y si reconociéndolo el sacerdote, ve que la postilla ha crecido en la piel, el sacerdote lo dará por inmundo: es lepra. 9Cuando hubiere llaga de lepra en el hombre, será traído al sacerdote; 10Y el sacerdote mirará, y si pareciere tumor blanco en la piel, el cual haya mudado el color del pelo, y se descubre asimismo la carne viva, 11Lepra es envejecida en la piel de su carne; y le dará por inmundo el sacerdote, y no le encerrará, porque es inmundo. 12Mas si brotare la lepra cundiendo por el cutis, y ella cubriere toda la piel del llagado desde su cabeza hasta sus pies, á toda vista de ojos del sacerdote; 13Entonces el sacerdote le reconocerá; y si la lepra hubiere cubierto toda su carne, dará por limpio al llagado: hase vuelto toda ella blanca; y él es limpio. 14Mas el día que apareciere en él la carne viva, será inmundo. 15Y el sacerdote mirará la carne viva, y lo dará por inmundo. Es inmunda la carne viva: es lepra. 16Mas cuando la carne viva se mudare y volviere blanca, entonces vendrá al sacerdote; 17Y el sacerdote mirará, y si la llaga se hubiere vuelto blanca, el sacerdote dará por limpio al que tenía la llaga, y será limpio. 18Y cuando en la carne, en su piel, hubiere apostema, y se sanare, 19Y sucediere en el lugar de la apostema tumor blanco, ó mancha blanca embermejecida, será mostrado al sacerdote: 20Y el sacerdote mirará; y si pareciere estar más baja que su piel, y su pelo se hubiere vuelto blanco, darálo el sacerdote por inmundo: es llaga de lepra que se originó en la apostema. 21Y si el sacerdote la considerare, y no pareciere en ella pelo blanco, ni estuviere más baja que la piel, sino oscura, entonces el sacerdote lo encerrará por siete días: 22Y si se fuere extendiendo por la piel, entonces el sacerdote lo dará por inmundo: es llaga. 23Empero si la mancha blanca se estuviere en su lugar, que no haya cundido, es la costra de la apostema; y el sacerdote lo dará por limpio. 24Asimismo cuando la carne tuviere en su piel quemadura de fuego, y hubiere en lo sanado del fuego mancha blanquecina, bermejiza ó blanca, 25El sacerdote la mirará; y si el pelo se hubiere vuelto blanco en la mancha, y pareciere estar más hundida que la piel, es lepra que salió en la quemadura; y el sacerdote declarará al sujeto inmundo, por ser llaga de lepra. 26Mas si el sacerdote la mirare, y no pareciere en la mancha pelo blanco, ni estuviere más baja que la tez, sino que está oscura, le encerrará el sacerdote por siete días; 27Y al séptimo día el sacerdote la reconocerá: si se hubiere ido extendiendo por la piel, el sacerdote lo dará por inmundo: es llaga de lepra. 28Empero si la mancha se estuviere en su lugar, y no se hubiere extendido en la piel, sino que está oscura, hinchazón es de la quemadura: darálo el sacerdote por limpio; que señal de la quemadura es. 29Y al hombre ó mujer que le saliere llaga en la cabeza, ó en la barba, 30El sacerdote mirará la llaga; y si pareciere estar más profunda que la tez, y el pelo en ella fuera rubio y adelgazado, entonces el sacerdote lo dará por inmundo: es tiña, es lepra de la cabeza ó de la barba. 31Mas cuando el sacerdote hubiere mirado la llaga de la tiña, y no pareciere estar más profunda que la tez, ni fuere en ella pelo negro, el sacerdote encerrará al llagado de la tiña por siete días: 32Y al séptimo día el sacerdote mirará la llaga: y si la tiña no pareciere haberse extendido, ni hubiere en ella pelo rubio, ni pareciere la tiña más profunda que la tez, 33Entonces lo trasquilarán, mas no trasquilarán el lugar de la tiña: y encerrará el sacerdote al que tiene la tiña por otros siete días. 34Y al séptimo día mirará el sacerdote la tiña; y si la tiña no hubiere cundido en la piel, ni pareciere estar más profunda que la tez, el sacerdote lo dará por limpio; y lavará sus vestidos, y será limpio. 35Empero si la tiña se hubiere ido extendiendo en la piel después de su purificación, 36Entonces el sacerdote la mirará; y si la tiña hubiere cundido en la piel, no busque el sacerdote el pelo rubio, es inmundo. 37Mas si le pareciere que la tiña está detenida, y que ha salido en ella el pelo negro, la tiña está sanada; él está limpio, y por limpio lo dará el sacerdote. 38Asimismo el hombre ó mujer, cuando en la piel de su carne tuviere manchas, manchas blancas, 39El sacerdote mirará: y si en la piel de su carne parecieren manchas blancas algo oscurecidas, es empeine que brotó en la piel, está limpia la persona. 40Y el hombre, cuando se le pelare la cabeza, es calvo, mas limpio. 41Y si á la parte de su rostro se le pelare la cabeza, es calvo por delante, pero limpio. 42Mas cuando en la calva ó en la antecalva hubiere llaga blanca rojiza, lepra es que brota en su calva ó en su antecalva. 43Entonces el sacerdote lo mirará, y si pareciere la hinchazón de la llaga blanca rojiza en su calva ó en su antecalva, como el parecer de la lepra de la tez de la carne, 44Leproso es, es inmundo; el sacerdote lo dará luego por inmundo; en su cabeza tiene su llaga. 45Y el leproso en quien hubiere llaga, sus vestidos serán deshechos y su cabeza descubierta, y embozado pregonará: ¡Inmundo! ¡inmundo! 46Todo el tiempo que la llaga estuviere en él, será inmundo; estará impuro: habitará solo; fuera del real será su morada. 47Y cuando en el vestido hubiere plaga de lepra, en vestido de lana, ó en vestido de lino; 48O en estambre ó en trama, de lino ó de lana, ó en piel, ó en cualquiera obra de piel; 49Y que la plaga sea verde, ó bermeja, en vestido ó en piel, ó en estambre ó en trama, ó en cualquiera obra de piel; plaga es de lepra, y se ha de mostrar al sacerdote. 50Y el sacerdote mirará la plaga, y encerrará la cosa plagada por siete días. 51Y al séptimo día mirará la plaga: y si hubiere cundido la plaga en el vestido, ó estambre, ó en la trama, ó en piel, ó en cualquiera obra que se hace de pieles, lepra roedora es la plaga; inmunda será. 52Será quemado el vestido, ó estambre ó trama, de lana ó de lino, ó cualquiera obra de pieles en que hubiere tal plaga; porque lepra roedora es: al fuego será quemada. 53Y si el sacerdote mirare, y no pareciere que la plaga se haya extendido en el vestido, ó estambre, ó en la trama, ó en cualquiera obra de pieles; 54Entonces el sacerdote mandará que laven donde está la plaga, y lo encerrará otra vez por siete días. 55Y el sacerdote mirará después que la plaga fuere lavada; y si pareciere que la plaga no ha mudado su aspecto, bien que no haya cundido la plaga, inmunda es; la quemarás al fuego; corrosión es penetrante, esté lo raído en la haz ó en el revés de aquella cosa. 56Mas si el sacerdote la viere, y pareciere que la plaga se ha oscurecido después que fué lavada, la cortará del vestido, ó de la piel, ó del estambre, ó de la trama. 57Y si apareciere más en el vestido, ó estambre, ó trama, ó en cualquiera cosa de pieles, reverdeciendo en ella, quemarás al fuego aquello donde estuviere la plaga. 58Empero el vestido, ó estambre, ó trama, ó cualquiera cosa de piel que lavares, y que se le quitare la plaga, lavarse ha segunda vez, y entonces será limpia. 59Esta es la ley de la plaga de la lepra del vestido de lana ó de lino, ó del estambre, ó de la trama, ó de cualquiera cosa de piel, para que sea dada por limpia ó por inmunda.
1Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying, 2“When a man shall have a rising in his body’s skin, or a scab, or a bright spot, and it becomes in the skin of his body the plague of leprosy, then he shall be brought to Aaron the priest, or to one of his sons, the priests: 3and the priest shall examine the plague in the skin of the body: and if the hair in the plague has turned white, and the appearance of the plague is deeper than the body’s skin, it is the plague of leprosy; and the priest shall examine him, and pronounce him unclean. 4If the bright spot is white in the skin of his body, and its appearance isn’t deeper than the skin, and its hair hasn’t turned white, then the priest shall isolate the infected person for seven days. 5The priest shall examine him on the seventh day, and, behold, if in his eyes the plague is arrested, and the plague hasn’t spread in the skin, then the priest shall isolate him for seven more days. 6The priest shall examine him again on the seventh day; and behold, if the plague has faded, and the plague hasn’t spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean. It is a scab. He shall wash his clothes, and be clean. 7But if the scab spreads on the skin, after he has shown himself to the priest for his cleansing, he shall show himself to the priest again. 8The priest shall examine him; and behold, if the scab has spread on the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is leprosy. 9“When the plague of leprosy is in a man, then he shall be brought to the priest; 10and the priest shall examine him. Behold, if there is a white rising in the skin, and it has turned the hair white, and there is raw flesh in the rising, 11it is a chronic leprosy in the skin of his body, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean. He shall not isolate him, for he is already unclean. 12“If the leprosy breaks out all over the skin, and the leprosy covers all the skin of the infected person from his head even to his feet, as far as it appears to the priest; 13then the priest shall examine him; and, behold, if the leprosy has covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce him clean of the plague. It has all turned white: he is clean. 14But whenever raw flesh appears in him, he shall be unclean. 15The priest shall examine the raw flesh, and pronounce him unclean: the raw flesh is unclean. It is leprosy. 16Or if the raw flesh turns again, and is changed to white, then he shall come to the priest; 17and the priest shall examine him; and, behold, if the plague has turned white, then the priest shall pronounce him clean of the plague. He is clean. 18“When the body has a boil on its skin, and it has healed, 19and in the place of the boil there is a white rising, or a bright spot, reddish-white, then it shall be shown to the priest; 20and the priest shall examine it; and behold, if its appearance is lower than the skin, and its hair has turned white, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is the plague of leprosy. It has broken out in the boil. 21But if the priest examines it, and behold, there are no white hairs in it, and it isn’t deeper than the skin, but is dim, then the priest shall isolate him seven days. 22If it spreads in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is a plague. 23But if the bright spot stays in its place, and hasn’t spread, it is the scar from the boil; and the priest shall pronounce him clean. 24“Or when the body has a burn from fire on its skin, and the raw flesh of the burn becomes a bright spot, reddish-white, or white, 25then the priest shall examine it; and behold, if the hair in the bright spot has turned white, and its appearance is deeper than the skin; it is leprosy. It has broken out in the burning, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is the plague of leprosy. 26But if the priest examines it, and behold, there is no white hair in the bright spot, and it isn’t lower than the skin, but is faded; then the priest shall isolate him seven days. 27The priest shall examine him on the seventh day. If it has spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is the plague of leprosy. 28If the bright spot stays in its place, and hasn’t spread in the skin, but is faded, it is the swelling from the burn, and the priest shall pronounce him clean; for it is the scar from the burn. 29“When a man or woman has a plague on the head or on the beard, 30then the priest shall examine the plague; and behold, if its appearance is deeper than the skin, and the hair in it is yellow and thin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is an itch, it is leprosy of the head or of the beard. 31If the priest examines the plague of itching, and behold, its appearance isn’t deeper than the skin, and there is no black hair in it, then the priest shall isolate the person infected with itching seven days. 32On the seventh day the priest shall examine the plague; and behold, if the itch hasn’t spread, and there is no yellow hair in it, and the appearance of the itch isn’t deeper than the skin, 33then he shall be shaved, but he shall not shave the itch; and the priest shall shut him up who has the itch seven more days. 34On the seventh day, the priest shall examine the itch; and behold, if the itch hasn’t spread in the skin, and its appearance isn’t deeper than the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean. He shall wash his clothes, and be clean. 35But if the itch spreads in the skin after his cleansing, 36then the priest shall examine him; and behold, if the itch has spread in the skin, the priest shall not look for the yellow hair; he is unclean. 37But if in his eyes the itch is arrested, and black hair has grown in it; the itch is healed, he is clean. The priest shall pronounce him clean. 38“When a man or a woman has bright spots in the skin of the body, even white bright spots; 39then the priest shall examine them; and behold, if the bright spots on the skin of their body are a dull white, it is a harmless rash, it has broken out in the skin; he is clean. 40“If a man’s hair has fallen from his head, he is bald. He is clean. 41If his hair has fallen off from the front part of his head, he is forehead bald. He is clean. 42But if there is in the bald head, or the bald forehead, a reddish-white plague; it is leprosy breaking out in his bald head, or his bald forehead. 43Then the priest shall examine him; and, behold, if the rising of the plague is reddish-white in his bald head, or in his bald forehead, like the appearance of leprosy in the skin of the flesh, 44he is a leprous man. He is unclean. The priest shall surely pronounce him unclean. His plague is on his head. 45“The leper in whom the plague is shall wear torn clothes, and the hair of his head shall hang loose. He shall cover his upper lip, and shall cry, ‘Unclean! Unclean!’ 46All the days in which the plague is in him he shall be unclean. He is unclean. He shall dwell alone. Outside of the camp shall be his dwelling. 47“The garment also that the plague of leprosy is in, whether it is a woolen garment, or a linen garment; 48whether it is in warp, or woof; of linen, or of wool; whether in a skin, or in anything made of skin; 49if the plague is greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the skin, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything made of skin; it is the plague of leprosy, and shall be shown to the priest. 50The priest shall examine the plague, and isolate the plague seven days. 51He shall examine the plague on the seventh day. If the plague has spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in the skin, whatever use the skin is used for, the plague is a destructive mildew. It is unclean. 52He shall burn the garment, whether the warp or the woof, in wool or in linen, or anything of skin, in which the plague is: for it is a destructive mildew. It shall be burned in the fire. 53“If the priest examines it, and behold, the plague hasn’t spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything of skin; 54then the priest shall command that they wash the thing in which the plague is, and he shall isolate it seven more days. 55Then the priest shall examine it, after the plague is washed; and behold, if the plague hasn’t changed its color, and the plague hasn’t spread, it is unclean; you shall burn it in the fire. It is a mildewed spot, whether the bareness is inside or outside. 56If the priest looks, and behold, the plague has faded after it is washed, then he shall tear it out of the garment, or out of the skin, or out of the warp, or out of the woof: 57and if it appears again in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything of skin, it is spreading. You shall burn with fire that in which the plague is. 58The garment, either the warp, or the woof, or whatever thing of skin it is, which you shall wash, if the plague has departed from them, then it shall be washed the second time, and it will be clean.” 59This is the law of the plague of mildew in a garment of wool or linen, either in the warp, or the woof, or in anything of skin, to pronounce it clean, or to pronounce it unclean.
1Verder sprak de HEERE tot Mozes en tot Aaron, zeggende: 2Een mens, als in het vel zijns vleses een gezwel, of gezweer, of witte blaar zal zijn, welke in het vel zijns vleses tot een plaag der melaatsheid zou worden, hij zal dan tot den priester Aaron, of tot een uit zijn zonen, de priesteren, gebracht worden. 3En de priester zal de plaag in het vel des vleses bezien; zo het haar in die plaag in wit veranderd is, en het aanzien der plaag dieper is dan het vel zijns vleses, het is de plaag der melaatsheid; als de priester hem bezien zal hebben, dan zal hij hem onrein verklaren. 4Maar zo de blaar in het vel zijn vleses wit is, en haar aanzien niet dieper is dan het vel, en het haar niet in wit veranderd is, zo zal de priester hem, die de plaag heeft, zeven dagen opsluiten. 5Daarna zal de priester op den zevenden dag hem bezien; indien, ziet, de plaag, naar dat hij zien kan, is staande gebleven, en de plaag in het vel niet uitgespreid is, zo zal de priester hem zeven andere dagen opsluiten. 6En de priester zal hem andermaal op den zevenden dag bezien; indien, ziet, de plaag ingetrokken, en de plaag in het vel niet uitgespreid is, zo zal de priester hem rein verklaren; het was een verzwering; en hij zal zijn klederen wassen, zo is hij rein. 7Maar zo de verzwering in het vel ganselijk uitgespreid is, nadat hij aan den priester tot zijn reiniging zal vertoond zijn, zo zal hij andermaal aan den priester vertoond worden. 8Indien de priester merken zal, dat, ziet, de verzwering in het vel uitgespreid is, zo zal de priester hem onrein verklaren; het is melaatsheid. 9Wanneer de plaag der melaatsheid in een mens zal zijn, zo zal hij tot den priester gebracht worden. 10Indien de priester merken zal, dat, ziet, een wit gezwel in het vel is, hetwelk het haar in wit veranderd heeft, en gezondheid van levend vlees in dat gezwel is; 11Dat is een verouderde melaatsheid in het vel zijns vleses; daarom zal hem de priester onrein verklaren; hij zal hem niet doen opsluiten, want hij is onrein. 12En zo de melaatsheid in het vel ganselijk uitbot, en de melaatsheid het gehele vel desgenen, die de plaag heeft, van zijn hoofd tot zijn voeten, bedekt heeft, naar al het gezicht van de ogen des priesters; 13En de priester merken zal, dat, ziet, de melaatsheid zijn gehele vlees bedekt heeft, zo zal hij hem, die de plaag heeft, rein verklaren; zij is geheel in wit veranderd; hij is rein. 14Maar ten welken dage levend vlees daarin gezien zal worden, zal hij onrein zijn. 15Als dan de priester dat levende vlees gezien zal hebben, zal hij hem onrein verklaren; dat levende vlees is onrein; het is melaatsheid. 16Of als dat levende vlees verkeert, en in wit veranderd zal worden, zo zal hij tot den priester komen. 17Als de priester hem bezien zal hebben, dat, ziet, de plaag in wit veranderd is, zo zal de priester hem, die de plaag heeft, rein verklaren; hij is rein. 18Het vlees ook, als in deszelfs vel een zweer zal geweest zijn, zo het genezen is; 19En in de plaats van die zweer een wit gezwel, of een witte roodachtige blaar worden zal, zo zal het aan den priester vertoond worden. 20Indien de priester merken zal, dat, ziet, haar aanzien lager is dan het vel, en derzelver haar in wit veranderd is, zo zal de priester hem onrein verklaren; het is de plaag der melaatsheid, zij is door de zweer uitgebot. 21Wanneer nu de priester die bezien zal hebben, dat, ziet, geen wit haar daaraan is, en die niet lager dan het vel, maar ingetrokken is, zo zal de priester hem zeven dagen opsluiten. 22Zo zij daarna gans in het vel uitgespreid zal zijn, zo zal de priester hem onrein verklaren; het is de plaag. 23Maar indien de blaar in haar plaats zal staande blijven, niet uitgespreid zijnde, het is de roof van die zweer, zo zal de priester hem rein verklaren; 24Of wanneer in het vel des vleses een vurige brand zal geweest zijn, en het gezonde van dien brand een witte roodachtige of witte blaar is; 25En de priester die gezien zal hebben, dat, ziet, het haar op de blaar in wit veranderd is, en haar aanzien dieper is dan het vel; het is melaatsheid, door den brand is zij uitgebot; daarom zal hem de priester onrein verklaren; het is de plaag der melaatsheid. 26Maar indien de priester die merken zal, dat, ziet, op de blaar geen wit haar is, en zij niet lager dan het vel, maar ingetrokken is, zo zal de priester hem zeven dagen opsluiten. 27Daarna zal de priester hem op den zevenden dag bezien; indien zij gans uitgespreid is in het vel, zo zal de priester hem onrein verklaren; het is de plaag der melaatsheid. 28Maar indien de blaar in haar plaats staande zal blijven, noch in het vel uitgespreid, maar ingetrokken zal zijn, het is een gezwel van den brand; daarom zal de priester hem rein verklaren, want het is de roof van den brand. 29Verder, als in een man of vrouw een plaag zal zijn in het hoofd, of in den baard; 30En de priester die plaag zal bezien hebben, dat, ziet, haar aanzien dieper is dan het vel, en geelachtig dun haar daarop is, zo zal de priester hem onrein verklaren; het is schurftheid, het is melaatsheid van het hoofd of van den baard. 31Maar als de priester de plaag der schurftheid zal bezien hebben, dat, ziet, haar aanzien niet dieper is dan het vel, en geen zwart haar daarop is, zo zal de priester hem, die de plaag der schurftheid heeft, zeven dagen doen opsluiten. 32Daarna zal de priester die plaag op den zevenden dag bezien; indien, ziet, de schurftheid niet uitgespreid, en daarop geen geelachtig haar is, noch het aanzien der schurftheid dieper dan het vel is; 33Zo zal hij zich scheren laten; maar de schurftheid zal hij niet scheren; en de priester zal hem, die de schurftheid heeft, andermaal zeven dagen doen opsluiten. 34Daarna zal de priester die schurftheid op den zevenden dag bezien; indien, ziet, de schurftheid in het vel niet uitgespreid is, en haar aanzien niet dieper is dan het vel, zo zal de priester hem rein verklaren; en hij zal zijn klederen wassen, en rein zijn. 35Maar indien de schurftheid in het vel gans uitgespreid is, na zijn reiniging; 36En de priester hem zal bezien hebben, dat, ziet, de schurftheid in het vel uitgespreid is, de priester zal naar het geelachtig haar niet zoeken; hij is onrein. 37Maar indien die schurftheid, naar dat hij zien kan, is staande gebleven, en zwart haar daarop gewassen is, die schurftheid is genezen, hij is rein; daarom zal de priester hem rein verklaren. 38Verder als een man, of vrouw, aan het vel van hun vlees blaren zullen hebben, witte blaren; 39En de priester zal gemerkt hebben, dat, ziet, ingetrokken witte blaren in het vel van hun vlees zijn; het is een witte puist in het vel uitgebot, hij is rein. 40En als een man zijn hoofdhaar zal uitgevallen zijn, hij is kaal, hij is rein. 41En zo van de zijde zijns aangezichts het haar van zijn hoofd zal uitgevallen zijn, hij is bles, hij is rein. 42Maar zo in de kaalheid, of in de blesse, een witte roodachtige plaag is, dat is melaatsheid, uitbottende in zijn kaalheid, of in zijn blesse. 43Als de priester hem zal bezien hebben, dat, ziet, het gezwel van die plaag in zijn kaalheid, of blesse, wit roodachtig is, gelijk het aanzien der melaatsheid van het vel des vleses; 44Die man is melaats, hij is onrein; de priester zal hem ganselijk onrein verklaren, zijn plaag is op zijn hoofd. 45Voorts zullen de klederen des melaatsen, in wien die plaag is, gescheurd zijn, en zijn hoofd zal ontbloot zijn, en hij zal de bovenste lip bewimpelen; daartoe zal hij roepen: Onrein, onrein! 46Al de dagen, in welke deze plaag aan hem zal zijn, zal hij onrein zijn; onrein is hij, hij zal alleen wonen; buiten het leger zal zijn woning wezen. 47Verder als aan een kleed de plaag der melaatsheid zal zijn, aan een wollen kleed, of aan een linnen kleed, 48Of aan den scheerdraad, of aan den inslag van linnen, of van wol, of aan vel, of aan enig vellenwerk; 49En die plaag aan het kleed, of aan het vel, of aan den scheerdraad, of aan den inslag, of aan enig vellentuig, groenachtig of roodachtig is; het is de plaag der melaatsheid; daarom zal zij den priester vertoond worden. 50En de priester zal de plaag bezien; en hij zal hetgeen de plaag heeft, zeven dagen doen opsluiten. 51Daarna zal hij op den zevenden dag de plaag bezien; zo de plaag uitgespreid is aan het kleed, of aan den scheerdraad, of aan den inslag, of aan het vel, tot wat werk dat vel zou mogen gemaakt zijn, die plaag is een knagende melaatsheid, het is onrein. 52Daarom zal hij dat kleed, of die werpte, of dien inslag van wol, of van linnen, of alle vellentuig, waarin die plaag zal zijn, verbranden; want het is een knagende melaatsheid; het zal met vuur verbrand worden. 53Doch indien de priester zal zien, dat, ziet, de plaag aan het kleed, of aan den scheerdraad, of aan den inslag, of aan enig vellentuig niet uitgespreid is; 54Zo zal de priester gebieden, dat men hetgeen, waaraan die plaag is, wasse, en hij zal dat andermaal zeven dagen doen opsluiten. 55Als de priester, nadat het gewassen is, de plaag zal bezien hebben, dat, ziet, de plaag haar gedaante niet veranderd heeft, en de plaag niet uitgespreid is, het is onrein, gij zult het met vuur verbranden; het is een ingraving aan zijn achterste of aan zijn voorste zijde. 56Indien nu de priester merken zal, dat, ziet, die plaag, nadat zij zal gewassen zijn, ingetrokken is; dan zal hij ze van het kleed, of van het vel, of van den scheerdraad, of van den inslag afscheuren. 57Maar zo zij nog aan het kleed, of aan den scheerdraad, of aan den inslag, of aan enig vellentuig, gezien wordt, het is uitbottende melaatsheid; gij zult hetgeen, waaraan de plaag is, met vuur verbranden. 58Maar het kleed, of de werpte, of de inslag, of alle vellentuig, dat gij gewassen zult hebben, als de plaag daarvan geweken zal zijn, dat zal andermaal gewassen worden, en het zal rein zijn. 59Dit is de wet van de plaag der melaatsheid, van een wollen of linnen kleed, of een werpte, of een inslag, of alle vellentuig, om dat rein te verklaren, of onrein te verklaren.
