1Y HABLÓ Jehová á Moisés y á Aarón, diciéndoles: 2Hablad á los hijos de Israel, diciendo: Estos son los animales que comeréis de todos los animales que están sobre la tierra. 3De entre los animales, todo el de pezuña, y que tiene las pezuñas hendidas, y que rumia, éste comeréis. 4Estos empero no comeréis de los que rumian, y de los que tienen pezuña: el camello, porque rumia mas no tiene pezuña hendida, habéis de tenerlo por inmundo; 5También el conejo, porque rumia, mas no tiene pezuña, tendréislo por inmundo; 6Asimismo la liebre, porque rumia, mas no tiene pezuña, tendréisla por inmunda; 7También el puerco, porque tiene pezuñas, y es de pezuñas hendidas, mas no rumia, tendréislo por inmundo. 8De la carne de ellos no comeréis, ni tocaréis su cuerpo muerto: tendréislos por inmundos. 9Esto comeréis de todas las cosas que están en las aguas: todas las cosas que tienen aletas y escamas en las aguas de la mar, y en los ríos, aquellas comeréis; 10Mas todas las cosas que no tienen aletas ni escamas en la mar y en los ríos, así de todo reptil de agua como de toda cosa viviente que está en las aguas, las tendréis en abominación. 11Os serán, pues, en abominación: de su carne no comeréis, y abominaréis sus cuerpos muertos. 12Todo lo que no tuviere aletas y escamas en las aguas, tendréislo en abominación. 13Y de las aves, éstas tendréis en abominación; no se comerán, serán abominación: el águila, el quebrantahuesos, el esmerejón, 14El milano, y el buitre según su especie; 15Todo cuervo según su especie; 16El avestruz, y la lechuza, y el laro, y el gavilán según su especie, 17Y el buho, y el somormujo, y el ibis, 18Y el calamón, y el cisne, y el onocrótalo, 19Y el herodión, y el caradrión, según su especie, y la abubilla, y el murciélago. 20Todo reptil alado que anduviere sobre cuatro pies, tendréis en abominación. 21Empero esto comeréis de todo reptil alado que anda sobre cuatro pies, que tuviere piernas además de sus pies para saltar con ellas sobre la tierra; 22Estos comeréis de ellos: la langosta según su especie, y el langostín según su especie, y el aregol según su especie, y el haghab según su especie. 23Todo reptil alado que tenga cuatro pies, tendréis en abominación. 24Y por estas cosas seréis inmundos: cualquiera que tocare á sus cuerpos muertos, será inmundo hasta la tarde: 25Y cualquiera que llevare de sus cuerpos muertos, lavará sus vestidos, y será inmundo hasta la tarde. 26Todo animal de pezuña, pero que no tiene pezuña hendida, ni rumia, tendréis por inmundo: cualquiera que los tocare será inmundo. 27Y de todos los animales que andan á cuatro pies, tendréis por inmundo cualquiera que ande sobre sus garras: cualquiera que tocare sus cuerpos muertos, será inmundo hasta la tarde. 28Y el que llevare sus cuerpos muertos, lavará sus vestidos, y será inmundo hasta la tarde: habéis de tenerlos por inmundos. 29Y estos tendréis por inmundos de los reptiles que van arrastrando sobre la tierra: la comadreja, y el ratón, y la rana según su especie, 30Y el erizo, y el lagarto, y el caracol, y la babosa, y el topo. 31Estos tendréis por inmundos de todos los reptiles: cualquiera que los tocare, cuando estuvieren muertos, será inmundo hasta la tarde. 32Y todo aquello sobre que cayere alguno de ellos después de muertos, será inmundo; así vaso de madera, como vestido, ó piel, ó saco, cualquier instrumento con que se hace obra, será metido en agua, y será inmundo hasta la tarde, y así será limpio. 33Y toda vasija de barro dentro de la cual cayere alguno de ellos, todo lo que estuviere en ella será inmundo, y quebraréis la vasija: 34Toda vianda que se come, sobre la cual viniere el agua de tales vasijas, será inmunda: y toda bebida que se bebiere, será en todas esas vasijas inmunda: 35Y todo aquello sobre que cayere algo del cuerpo muerto de ellos, será inmundo: el horno ú hornillos se derribarán; son inmundos, y por inmundos los tendréis. 36Con todo, la fuente y la cisterna donde se recogen aguas, serán limpias: mas lo que hubiere tocado en sus cuerpos muertos será inmundo. 37Y si cayere de sus cuerpos muertos sobre alguna simiente que se haya de sembrar, será limpia. 38Mas si se hubiere puesto agua en la simiente, y cayere de sus cuerpos muertos sobre ella, tendréisla por inmunda. 39Y si algún animal que tuviereis para comer se muriere, el que tocare su cuerpo muerto será inmundo hasta la tarde: 40Y el que comiere de su cuerpo muerto, lavará sus vestidos, y será inmundo hasta la tarde: asimismo el que sacare su cuerpo muerto, lavará sus vestidos, y será inmundo hasta la tarde. 41Y todo reptil que va arrastrando sobre la tierra, es abominación; no se comerá. 42Todo lo que anda sobre el pecho, y todo lo que anda sobre cuatro ó más pies, de todo reptil que anda arrastrando sobre la tierra, no lo comeréis, porque es abominación. 43No ensuciéis vuestras personas con ningún reptil que anda arrastrando, ni os contaminéis con ellos, ni seáis inmundos por ellos. 44Pues que yo soy Jehová vuestro Dios, vosotros por tanto os santificaréis, y seréis santos, porque yo soy santo: así que no ensuciéis vuestras personas con ningún reptil que anduviere arrastrando sobre la tierra. 45Porque yo soy Jehová, que os hago subir de la tierra de Egipto para seros por Dios: seréis pues santos, porque yo soy santo. 46Esta es la ley de los animales y de las aves, y de todo ser viviente que se mueve en las aguas, y de todo animal que anda arrastrando sobre la tierra; 47Para hacer diferencia entre inmundo y limpio, y entre los animales que se pueden comer y los animales que no se pueden comer.
1Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying to them, 2“Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘These are the living things which you may eat among all the animals that are on the earth. 3Whatever parts the hoof, and is cloven-footed, and chews the cud among the animals, that you may eat. 4“‘Nevertheless these you shall not eat of those that chew the cud, or of those who part the hoof: the camel, because he chews the cud but doesn’t have a parted hoof, he is unclean to you. 5The cony, because he chews the cud but doesn’t have a parted hoof, he is unclean to you. 6The hare, because she chews the cud but doesn’t part the hoof, she is unclean to you. 7The pig, because he has a split hoof, and is cloven-footed, but doesn’t chew the cud, he is unclean to you. 8Of their flesh you shall not eat, and their carcasses you shall not touch; they are unclean to you. 9“‘These you may eat of all that are in the waters: whatever has fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, that you may eat. 10All that don’t have fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of all the living creatures that are in the waters, they are an abomination to you, 11and you detest them. You shall not eat of their flesh, and you shall detest their carcasses. 12Whatever has no fins nor scales in the waters, that is an abomination to you. 13“‘These you shall detest among the birds; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the vulture, and the black vulture, 14and the red kite, any kind of black kite, 15any kind of raven, 16the horned owl, the screech owl, and the gull, any kind of hawk, 17the little owl, the cormorant, the great owl, 18the white owl, the desert owl, the osprey, 19the stork, any kind of heron, the hoopoe, and the bat. 20“‘All flying insects that walk on all fours are an abomination to you. 21Yet you may eat these: of all winged creeping things that go on all fours, which have legs above their feet, with which to hop on the earth. 22Even of these you may eat: any kind of locust, any kind of katydid, any kind of cricket, and any kind of grasshopper. 23But all winged creeping things which have four feet, are an abomination to you. 24“‘By these you will become unclean: whoever touches their carcass shall be unclean until the evening. 25Whoever carries any part of their carcass shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening. 26“‘Every animal which parts the hoof, and is not cloven-footed, nor chews the cud, is unclean to you. Everyone who touches them shall be unclean. 27Whatever goes on its paws, among all animals that go on all fours, they are unclean to you. Whoever touches their carcass shall be unclean until the evening. 28He who carries their carcass shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening. They are unclean to you. 29“‘These are they which are unclean to you among the creeping things that creep on the earth: the weasel, the rat, any kind of great lizard, 30the gecko, and the monitor lizard, the wall lizard, the skink, and the chameleon. 31These are they which are unclean to you among all that creep. Whoever touches them when they are dead, shall be unclean until the evening. 32On whatever any of them falls when they are dead, it shall be unclean; whether it is any vessel of wood, or clothing, or skin, or sack, whatever vessel it is, with which any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the evening; then it will be clean. 33Every earthen vessel, into which any of them falls, all that is in it shall be unclean, and you shall break it. 34All food which may be eaten, that on which water comes, shall be unclean; and all drink that may be drunk in every such vessel shall be unclean. 35Everything whereupon part of their carcass falls shall be unclean; whether oven, or range for pots, it shall be broken in pieces: they are unclean, and shall be unclean to you. 36Nevertheless a spring or a cistern in which water is gathered shall be clean: but that which touches their carcass shall be unclean. 37If part of their carcass falls on any sowing seed which is to be sown, it is clean. 38But if water is put on the seed, and part of their carcass falls on it, it is unclean to you. 39“‘If any animal, of which you may eat, dies; he who touches its carcass shall be unclean until the evening. 40He who eats of its carcass shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening. He also who carries its carcass shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening. 41“‘Every creeping thing that creeps on the earth is an abomination. It shall not be eaten. 42Whatever goes on its belly, and whatever goes on all fours, or whatever has many feet, even all creeping things that creep on the earth, them you shall not eat; for they are an abomination. 43You shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creeps, neither shall you make yourselves unclean with them, that you should be defiled thereby. 44For I am Yahweh your God. Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be holy; for I am holy: neither shall you defile yourselves with any kind of creeping thing that moves on the earth. 45For I am Yahweh who brought you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God. You shall therefore be holy, for I am holy. 46“‘This is the law of the animal, and of the bird, and of every living creature that moves in the waters, and of every creature that creeps on the earth, 47to make a distinction between the unclean and the clean, and between the living thing that may be eaten and the living thing that may not be eaten.’”
1En de HEERE sprak tot Mozes, en tot Aaron, zeggende tot hen: 2Spreekt tot de kinderen Israels, zeggende: Dit is het gedierte, dat gij eten zult uit alle beesten, die op de aarde zijn. 3Al wat onder de beesten de klauw verdeelt, en de kloof der klauwen in tweeen klieft, en herkauwt, dat zult gij eten. 4Deze nochtans zult gij niet eten, van degenen, die alleen herkauwen, of de klauwen alleen verdelen: de kemel, want hij herkauwt wel, maar verdeelt den klauw niet; die zal u onrein zijn; 5En het konijntje, want het herkauwt wel, maar verdeelt den klauw niet; dat zal u onrein zijn; 6En den haas, want hij herkauwt wel, maar verdeelt den klauw niet; die zal u onrein zijn. 7Ook het zwijn, want dat verdeelt wel den klauw, en klieft de klove der klauwen in tweeen, maar herkauwt het gekauwde niet; dat zal u onrein zijn. 8Van hun vlees zult gij niet eten, en hun dood aas niet aanroeren, zij zullen u onrein zijn. 9Dit zult gij eten van al wat in de wateren is: al wat in de wateren, in de zeeen en in de rivieren, vinnen en schubben heeft, dat zult gij eten; 10Maar al wat in de zeeen en in de rivieren, van alle gewemel der wateren, en van alle levende ziel, die in de wateren is, geen vinnen of schubben heeft, dat zal u een verfoeisel zijn. 11Ja, een verfoeisel zullen zij u zijn; van hun vlees zult gij niet eten, en hun dood aas zult gij verfoeien. 12Al wat in de wateren geen vinnen en schubben heeft, dat zal u een verfoeisel zijn. 13En van het gevogelte zult gij deze verfoeien, zij zullen niet gegeten worden, zij zullen een verfoeisel zijn: de arend, en de havik, en de zeearend, 14En de gier, en de kraai, naar haar aard; 15Elke rave naar haar aard; 16En de struis, en de nachtuil, en de koekoek, en de sperwer naar zijn aard; 17En de steenuil, en het duikertje, en de schuifuit, 18En de kauw, en de roerdomp, en de pelikaan, 19En de ooievaar, de reiger naar zijn aard, en de hop, en de vledermuis. 20Alle kruipend gevogelte, dat op vier voeten gaat, zal u een verfoeisel zijn. 21Dit nochtans zult gij eten van al het kruipend gevogelte, dat op vier voeten gaat, hetwelk boven aan zijn voeten schenkelen heeft, om daarmede op de aarde te springen; 22Van die zult gij deze eten: de sprinkhaan naar zijn aard, en de solham naar zijn aard, en den hargol naar zijn aard, en den hagab naar zijn aard. 23En alle kruipend gevogelte, dat vier voeten heeft, zal u een verfoeisel zijn. 24En aan deze zult gij verontreinigd worden; zo wie hun dood aas zal aangeroerd hebben, zal onrein zijn tot aan den avond. 25Zo wie van hun dood aas gedragen zal hebben, zal zijn klederen wassen, en onrein zijn tot aan den avond. 26Alle beest, dat den klauw verdeelt, doch de klove niet in tweeen klieft, en niet herkauwt, zal u onrein zijn; zo wie hetzelve aangeroerd zal hebben, zal onrein zijn. 27En al wat op zijn poten gaat onder alle gedierte, op vier voeten gaande, die zullen u onrein zijn; al wie hun dood aas aangeroerd zal hebben, zal onrein zijn tot aan den avond. 28Ook die hun dood aas zal gedragen hebben, zal zijn klederen wassen, en onrein zijn tot aan den avond; zij zullen u onrein zijn. 29Verder zal u dit onder het kruipend gedierte, dat op de aarde kruipt, onrein zijn: het wezeltje, en de muis, en de schildpad, naar haar aard; 30En de zwijnegel, en de krokodil, en de hagedis, en de slak, en de mol; 31Die zullen u onrein zijn onder alle kruipend gedierte; zo wie die zal aangeroerd hebben, als zij dood zijn, zal onrein zijn tot aan den avond. 32Daartoe al hetgeen, waarop iets van dezelve vallen zal, als zij dood zijn, zal onrein zijn, hetzij van alle houten vat, of kleed, of vel, of zak, of alle vat, waarmede werk gedaan wordt; het zal in het water gestoken worden, en onrein zijn tot aan den avond; daarna zal het rein zijn. 33En alle aarden vat, waarin iets van dezelve zal gevallen zijn, al wat daarin is, zal onrein zijn, en gij zult dat breken. 34Van alle spijze, die men eet, waarop het water zal gekomen zijn, die zal onrein zijn; en alle drank, die men drinkt, zal in alle vat onrein zijn. 35En waarop iets van hun dood aas zal vallen, zal onrein zijn; de oven en de aarden pan zal verbroken worden; zij zijn onrein, daarom zullen zij u onrein zijn. 36Doch een fontein, of put van vergadering der wateren, zal rein zijn; maar wie hun dood aas zal aangeroerd hebben, zal onrein zijn. 37En wanneer van hun dood aas zal gevallen zijn op enig zaaibaar zaad, dat gezaaid wordt, dat zal rein zijn. 38Maar als water op het zaad gedaan zal worden, en van hun dood aas daarop zal gevallen zijn, dat zal u onrein zijn. 39En wanneer van de dieren, die u tot spijze zijn, iets zal gestorven zijn, wie deszelfs dood aas zal aangeroerd hebben, zal onrein zijn tot aan den avond. 40Ook die van hun dood aas gegeten zal hebben, zal zijn klederen wassen, en onrein zijn tot aan den avond; en die hun dood aas zal gedragen hebben, zal zijn klederen wassen, en onrein zijn tot aan den avond. 41Voorts alle kruipend gedierte, dat op de aarde kruipt, zal een verfoeisel zijn; het zal niet gegeten worden. 42Al wat op zijn buik gaat, en al wat gaat op zijn vier voeten, of al wat vele voeten heeft, onder alle kruipend gedierte, dat op de aarde kruipt, die zult gij niet eten, want zij zijn een verfoeisel. 43Maakt uw zielen niet verfoeilijk aan enig kruipend gedierte, dat kruipt; en verontreinigt u niet daaraan, dat gij daaraan verontreinigd zoudt worden. 44Want Ik ben de HEERE, uw God; daarom zult gij u heiligen, en heilig zijn, dewijl Ik heilig ben; en gij zult uw ziel niet verontreinigen aan enig kruipend gedierte, dat zich op de aarde roert. 45Want Ik ben de HEERE, Die u uit Egypteland doe optrekken, opdat Ik u tot een God zij, en opdat gij heilig zijt, dewijl Ik heilig ben. 46Dit is de wet van de beesten, en van het gevogelte, en van alle levende ziel, die zich roert in de wateren, en van alle ziel, die kruipt op de aarde; 47Om te onderscheiden tussen het onreine en tussen het reine, en tussen het gedierte, dat men eten, en tussen het gedierte, dat men niet eten zal.
