1HIZO además un altar de bronce de veinte codos de longitud, y veinte codos de anchura, y diez codos de altura. 2También hizo un mar de fundición, el cual tenía diez codos del un borde al otro, enteramente redondo: su altura era de cinco codos, y una línea de treinta codos lo ceñía alrededor. 3Y debajo de él había figuras de bueyes que lo circundaban, diez en cada codo todo alrededor: eran dos órdenes de bueyes fundidos juntamente con el mar. 4Y estaba asentado sobre doce bueyes, tres de los cuales miraban al septentrión, y tres al occidente, y tres al mediodía, y tres al oriente: y el mar asentaba sobre ellos, y todas sus traseras estaban á la parte de adentro. 5Y tenía de grueso un palmo, y el borde era de la hechura del borde de un cáliz, ó flor de lis. Y hacía tres mil batos. 6Hizo también diez fuentes, y puso cinco á la derecha y cinco á la izquierda, para lavar y limpiar en ellas la obra del holocausto; mas el mar era para lavarse los sacerdotes en él. 7Hizo asimismo diez candeleros de oro según su forma, los cuales puso en el templo, cinco á la derecha, y cinco á la izquierda. 8Además hizo diez mesas y púsolas en el templo, cinco á la derecha, y cinco á la izquierda: igualmente hizo cien tazones de oro. 9A más de esto hizo el atrio de los sacerdotes, y el gran atrio, y las portadas del atrio, y cubrió las puertas de ellas de bronce. 10Y asentó el mar al lado derecho hacia el oriente, enfrente del mediodía. 11Hizo también Hiram calderos, y palas, y tazones; y acabó Hiram la obra que hacía al rey Salomón para la casa de Dios; 12Dos columnas, y los cordones, los capiteles sobre las cabezas de las dos columnas, y dos redes para cubrir las dos bolas de los capiteles que estaban encima de las columnas; 13Cuatrocientas granadas en las dos redecillas, dos órdenes de granadas en cada redecilla, para que cubriesen las dos bolas de los capiteles que estaban encima de las columnas. 14Hizo también las basas, sobre las cuales asentó las fuentes; 15Un mar, y doce bueyes debajo de él; 16Y calderos, y palas, y garfios; y todos sus enseres hizo Hiram su padre al rey Salomón para la casa de Jehová, de metal purísimo. 17Y fundiólos el rey en los llanos del Jordán, en tierra arcillosa, entre Suchôt y Seredat. 18Y Salomón hizo todos estos vasos en grande abundancia, porque no pudo ser hallado el peso del metal. 19Así hizo Salomón todos los vasos para la casa de Dios, y el altar de oro, y las mesas sobre las cuales se ponían los panes de la proposición; 20Asimismo los candeleros y sus candilejas, de oro puro, para que las encendiesen delante del oratorio conforme á la costumbre. 21Y las flores, y las lamparillas, y las despabiladeras se hicieron de oro, de oro perfecto; 22También los platillos, y las jofainas, y las cucharas, y los incensarios, de oro puro. Cuanto á la entrada de la casa, sus puertas interiores para el lugar santísimo, y las puertas de la casa del templo, de oro.

1Then he made an altar of brass, twenty cubits its length, and twenty cubits its breadth, and ten cubits its height. 2Also he made the molten sea of ten cubits from brim to brim, round in compass; and its height was five cubits; and a line of thirty cubits encircled it. 3Under it was the likeness of oxen, which encircled it, for ten cubits, encircling the sea. The oxen were in two rows, cast when it was cast. 4It stood on twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east: and the sea was set on them above, and all their hinder parts were inward. 5It was a hand breadth thick; and its brim was worked like the brim of a cup, like the flower of a lily: it received and held three thousand baths. 6He made also ten basins, and put five on the right hand, and five on the left, to wash in them; such things as belonged to the burnt offering they washed in them; but the sea was for the priests to wash in. 7He made the ten lamp stands of gold according to the ordinance concerning them; and he set them in the temple, five on the right hand, and five on the left. 8He made also ten tables, and placed them in the temple, five on the right side, and five on the left. He made one hundred basins of gold. 9Furthermore he made the court of the priests, and the great court, and doors for the court, and overlaid their doors with brass. 10He set the sea on the right side of the house eastward, toward the south. 11Huram made the pots, and the shovels, and the basins. So Huram made an end of doing the work that he did for king Solomon in God’s house: 12the two pillars, and the bowls, and the two capitals which were on the top of the pillars, and the two networks to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on the top of the pillars, 13and the four hundred pomegranates for the two networks; two rows of pomegranates for each network, to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on the pillars. 14He made also the bases, and the basins made he on the bases; 15one sea, and the twelve oxen under it. 16Huram his father also made the pots, the shovels, the forks, and all its vessels for king Solomon for Yahweh’s house of bright brass. 17The king cast them in the plain of the Jordan, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zeredah. 18Thus Solomon made all these vessels in great abundance: for the weight of the brass could not be found out. 19Solomon made all the vessels that were in God’s house, the golden altar also, and the tables with the show bread on them; 20and the lamp stands with their lamps, to burn according to the ordinance before the oracle, of pure gold; 21and the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, of gold, and that perfect gold; 22and the snuffers, and the basins, and the spoons, and the fire pans, of pure gold: and as for the entry of the house, the inner doors of it for the most holy place, and the doors of the main hall of the temple were of gold.

1Hij maakte ook een koperen altaar, van twintig ellen in zijn lengte, en twintig ellen in zijn breedte, en tien ellen in zijn hoogte. 2Daartoe maakte hij de gegoten zee; van tien ellen was zij, van haar enen rand tot haar anderen rand, rondom rond, en van vijf ellen in haar hoogte, en een meetsnoer van dertig ellen omving ze rondom. 3Onder dezelve nu was de gelijkenis van runderen, rondom henen, die omsingelende, tien in een el, omringende de zee rondom; twee rijen dezer runderen waren in haar gieting gegoten. 4Zij stond op twaalf runderen, drie ziende naar het noorden, en drie ziende naar het westen, en drie ziende naar het zuiden, en drie ziende naar het oosten; en de zee was boven op dezelve; en al hun achterdelen waren inwaarts. 5Haar dikte nu was een hand breed, en haar rand als het werk van den rand eens bekers of ener leliebloem, bevattende vele bathen; zij hield drie duizend. 6En hij maakte tien wasvaten, en stelde vijf ter rechter hand en vijf ter linkerhand, om daarin te wassen; wat ten brandoffer behoort, staken zij daarin; maar de zee was, opdat de priesters zich daarin zouden wassen. 7Hij maakte ook tien gouden kandelaren, naar hun wijze, en hij stelde ze in den tempel, vijf aan de rechterhand, en vijf aan de linkerhand. 8Ook maakte hij tien tafelen, en hij zette ze in den tempel, vijf aan de rechterhand, en vijf aan de linkerhand; en hij maakte honderd gouden sprengbekkens. 9Verder maakte hij het voorhof der priesteren, en het grote voorhof, mitsgaders de deuren voor het voorhof, en overtoog hun deuren met koper. 10De zee nu zette hij aan de rechterzijde, naar het oosten, tegenover het zuiden. 11Daartoe maakte Huram de potten, en de schoffelen, en de sprengbekkens; alzo voleindde Huram het werk te maken, dat hij voor de koning Salomo aan het huis Gods maakte. 12De twee pilaren, en de bollen, en de twee kapitelen, op het hoofd der pilaren; en de twee netten, om de twee bollen der kapitelen te bedekken, die op der pilaren hoofd waren; 13En de vierhonderd granaatappelen tot de twee netten: twee rijen van granaatappelen tot elk net, om de twee bollen der kapitelen te bedekken, die boven op de pilaren waren. 14Hij maakte ook de stellingen; en wasvaten maakte hij op de stellingen; 15Een zee, en de twaalf runderen daaronder. 16Insgelijks de potten, en de schoffelen, en de krauwelen, en al hun vaten maakte Huram Abiu voor de koning Salomo, voor het huis des HEEREN, van gepolijst koper. 17In de vlakte van de Jordaan goot ze de koning, in dichte aarde, tussen Sukkoth, en tussen Zeredatha. 18En Salomo maakte al deze vaten, in grote menigte; want het gewicht des kopers werd niet onderzocht. 19Ook maakte Salomo alle vaten, die voor het huis Gods waren, en het gouden altaar, en de tafelen, waarop de toonbroden zijn; 20En de kandelaren met hun lampen, van gesloten goud, om die naar de wijze aan te steken, voor de aanspraakplaats; 21En de bloemen, en de lampen, en de snuiters, van goud; het was het volmaaktste goud; 22Mitsgaders de gaffelen, en de sprengbekkens, en de rookschalen, en de wierookvaten, van gesloten goud; aangaande den ingang van het huis, zijn binnenste deuren, van het heilige der heiligen, en de deuren van het huis des tempels waren van goud.
