1Οι υιοί του Λευΐ ήσαν Γηρσών, Καάθ και Μεραρί. 2Και οι υιός του Καάθ, Αμράμ, Ισαάρ και Χεβρών και Οζιήλ. 3Και οι υιοί του Αμράμ, Ααρών και Μωϋσής και η Μαριάμ. Οι δε υιοί του Ααρών, Ναδάβ και Αβιούδ, Ελεάζαρ και Ιθάμαρ. 4Ο Ελεάζαρ εγέννησε τον Φινεές, ο Φινεές εγέννησε τον Αβισσουά, 5και Αβισσουά εγέννησε τον Βουκκί, και Βουκκί εγέννησε τον Οζί, 6και Οζί εγέννησε τον Ζεραΐαν, και Ζεραΐας εγέννησε τον Μεραϊώθ, 7Μεραϊώθ εγέννησε τον Αμαρίαν, και Αμαρίας εγέννησε τον Αχιτώβ, 8και Αχιτώβ εγέννησε τον Σαδώκ, και Σαδώκ εγέννησε τον Αχιμάας, 9και Αχιμάας εγέννησε τον Αζαρίαν, και Αζαρίας εγέννησε τον Ιωανάν, 10και Ιωανάν εγέννησε τον Αζαρίαν, ούτος είναι ο ιερατεύσας εν τω ναώ, τον οποίον ωκοδόμησεν ο Σολομών εν Ιερουσαλήμ· 11και Αζαρίας εγέννησε τον Αμαρίαν, και Αμαρίας εγέννησε τον Αχιτώβ, 12και Αχιτώβ εγέννησε τον Σαδώκ, και Σαδώκ εγέννησε τον Σαλλούμ, 13και Σαλλούμ εγέννησε τον Χελκίαν, και Χελκίας εγέννησε τον Αζαρίαν, 14και Αζαρίας εγέννησε τον Σεραΐαν, και Σεραΐας εγέννησε τον Ιωσεδέκ, 15και Ιωσεδέκ υπήγεν εις την μετοικεσίαν, ότε ο Κύριος έκαμε να μετοικισθή ο Ιούδας και η Ιερουσαλήμ διά χειρός του Ναβουχοδονόσορ. 16Οι υιοί του Λευΐ, Γηρσώμ, Καάθ και Μεραρί. 17Και ταύτα είναι τα ονόματα των υιών του Γηρσώμ· Λιβνί και Σιμεΐ. 18Και οι υιοί του Καάθ, Αμράμ και Ισαάρ και Χεβρών και Οζιήλ. 19Οι υιοί του Μεραρί, Μααλί και Μουσί. Και αύται είναι αι συγγένειαι των Λευϊτών κατά τας πατριάς αυτών. 20του Γηρσώμ, Λιβνί υιός τούτου, Ιαάθ υιός τούτου, Ζιμμά υιός τούτου, 21Ιωάχ υιός τούτου, Ιδδώ υιός τούτου, Ζερά υιός τούτου, Ιεθραί υιός τούτου. 22Οι υιοί του Καάθ, Αμμιναδάβ υιός αυτού, Κορέ υιός τούτου, Ασείρ υιός τούτου, 23Ελκανά υιός τούτου, και Εβιασάφ υιός τούτου, και Ασείρ υιός τούτου, 24Ταχάθ υιός τούτου, Ουριήλ υιός τούτου, Οζίας υιός τούτου, και Σαούλ υιός τούτου. 25Και οι υιοί του Ελκανά, Αμασαΐ και Αχιμώθ. 26Και Ελκανά· οι υιοί του Ελκανά, Σουφί υιός τούτου, και Ναχάθ υιός τούτου, 27Ελιάβ υιός τούτου, Ιεροάμ υιός τούτου, Ελκανά υιός τούτου. 28Και οι υιοί του Σαμουήλ, Βασνί ο πρωτότοκος και Αβιά. 29Οι υιοί του Μεραρί, Μααλί, Λιβνί υιός τούτου, Σιμεΐ υιός τούτου, Ουζά υιός τούτου, 30Σιμαά υιός τούτου, Αγγία υιός τούτου, Ασαΐας υιός τούτου. 31Και ούτοι είναι τους οποίους κατέστησεν ο Δαβίδ επί το έργον της μουσικής του οίκου του Κυρίου, αφού η κιβωτός εύρηκεν ανάπαυσιν. 32Και υπηρέτουν έμπροσθεν της σκηνής του μαρτυρίου με ψαλτωδίας, εωσού ο Σολομών ωκοδόμησε τον οίκον του Κυρίου εν Ιερουσαλήμ· και τότε κατεστάθησαν εις το υπούργημα αυτών, κατά την τάξιν αυτών. 33Και ούτοι είναι οι κατασταθέντες, μετά των τέκνων αυτών. Εκ των υιών των Κααθιτών, Αιμάν ο ψαλτωδός, υιός του Ιωήλ, υιού του Σαμουήλ, 34υιού του Ελκανά, υιού του Ιεροάμ, υιού του Ελιήλ, υιού του Θωά, 35υιού του Σούφ, υιού του Ελκανά, υιού του Μαάθ υιού του Αμασαί, 36υιού του Ελκανά υιού του Ιωήλ, υιού του Αζαρίου, υιού του Σοφονίου, 37υιού του Ταχάθ, υιού του Ασείρ, υιού του Εβιασάφ, υιού του Κορέ, 38υιού του Ισαάρ, υιού του Καάθ, υιού του Λευΐ υιού του Ισραήλ· 39και ο αδελφός αυτού Ασάφ, ο ιστάμενος εν δεξιά αυτού· Ασάφ ο υιός του Βαραχίου, υιού του Σιμεά, 40υιού του Μιχαήλ, υιού του Βαασίου, υιού του Μαλχίου, 41υιού του Εθνεί υιού του Ζερά, υιού του Αβδί, υιού του Μαλλούχ, 45υιού του Ασαβία, υιού του Αμασία, υιού του Χελκίου, 46υιού του Αμσί, υιού του Βανί, υιού του Σαμείρ, 47υιού του Μααλί, υιού του Μουσί, υιού του Μεραρί, υιού του Λευΐ· 48και οι αδελφοί αυτών οι Λευΐται, διωρισμένοι εις πάσας τας υπηρεσίας της σκηνής του οίκου του Θεού. 49Ο δε Ααρών και οι υιοί αυτού εθυμίαζον επί το θυσιαστήριον των ολοκαυτωμάτων, και επί το θυσιαστήριον του θυμιάματος, διωρισμένοι εις πάσας τας εργασίας του αγίου των αγίων, και εις το να κάμνωσιν εξιλέωσιν υπέρ του Ισραήλ, κατά πάντα όσα προσέταξε Μωϋσής ο δούλος του Θεού. 50Και ούτοι είναι οι υιοί του Ααρών· Ελεάζαρ υιός τούτου, Φινεές υιός τούτου, Αβισσουά υιός τούτου, 51Βουκκί υιός τούτου, Οζί υιός τούτου, Ζεραΐας υιός τούτου, 52Μεραϊώθ υιός τούτου, Αμαρίας υιός τούτου, Αχιτώβ υιός τούτου, 53Σαδώκ υιός τούτου, Αχιμάας υιός τούτου. 54Και αύται είναι αι κατοικίαι αυτών κατά τας κώμας αυτών εν τοις ορίοις αυτών, των υιών του Ααρών, εκ της συγγενείας των Κααθιτών· διότι εις αυτούς έπεσεν ο κλήρος· 55και έδωκαν εις αυτούς την Χεβρών εν γη Ιούδα και τα περίχωρα αυτής κύκλω αυτής. 56Τους αγρούς όμως της πόλεως και τας κώμας αυτής έδωκαν εις τον Χάλεβ τον υιόν του Ιεφοννή. 57Εις δε τους υιούς του Ααρών έδωκαν τας πόλεις του Ιούδα, την Χεβρών, την πόλιν του καταφυγίου και την Λιβνά και τα περίχωρα αυτής και την Ιαθείρ και την Εσθεμωά και τα περίχωρα αυτής, 58και την Ηλών και τα περίχωρα αυτής, την Δεβείρ και τα περίχωρα αυτής, 59και την Ασάν και τα περίχωρα αυτής και την Βαιθ-σεμές και τα περίχωρα αυτής, 60και εκ της φυλής Βενιαμίν την Γαβαά και τα περίχωρα αυτής και την Αλεμέθ και τα περίχωρα αυτής και την Αναθώθ και τα περίχωρα αυτής· πάσαι αι πόλεις αυτών, κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών, δεκατρείς. 61Και εις τους υιούς του Καάθ, τους εναπολειφθέντας, εδόθησαν κατά κλήρον εκ της συγγενείας εκατέρας φυλής και εκ της ημισείας φυλής, της ημισείας του Μανασσή, δέκα πόλεις. 62Και εις τους υιούς του Γηρσώμ κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών, εκ της φυλής Ισσάχαρ, και εκ της φυλής Ασήρ και εκ της φυλής Νεφθαλί και εκ της φυλής του Μανασσή εν Βασάν, δεκατρείς πόλεις. 63εις τους υιούς του Μεραρί, κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών, εδόθησαν διά κλήρου εκ της φυλής Ρουβήν και εκ της φυλής Γαδ και εκ της φυλής Ζαβουλών δώδεκα πόλεις. 64Και οι υιοί Ισραήλ έδωκαν εις τους Λευΐτας τας πόλεις ταύτας και τα περίχωρα αυτών. 65Και έδωκαν κατά κλήρον, εκ της φυλής των υιών Ιούδα και εκ της φυλής των υιών Συμεών και εκ της φυλής των υιών Βενιαμίν, τας πόλεις ταύτας, ονομασθείσας κατά τα ονόματα αυτών. 66Οι δε εκ των συγγενειών των υιών Καάθ έλαβον πόλεις των ορίων αυτών εκ της φυλής Εφραΐμ. 67Και έδωκαν εις αυτούς τας πόλεις του καταφυγίου, την Συχέμ και τα περίχωρα αυτής, εν τω όρει Εφραΐμ, και την Γεζέρ και τα περίχωρα αυτής, 68και την Ιοκμεάμ και τα περίχωρα αυτής, και την Βαιθ-ωρών και τα περίχωρα αυτής, 69και την Αιαλών και τα περίχωρα αυτής, και την Γαθ-ριμμών και τα περίχωρα αυτής· 70και εκ της ημισείας φυλής Μανασσή την Ανήρ και τα περίχωρα αυτής, και την Βιλεάμ και τα περίχωρα αυτής· ταύτας έδωκαν εις τας συγγενείας των εναπολειφθέντων των υιών Καάθ. 71εις τους υιούς Γηρσώμ έδωκαν, εκ της συγγενείας της ημισείας φυλής Μανασσή, την Γωλάν εν Βασάν και τα περίχωρα αυτής, και την Ασταρώθ και τα περίχωρα αυτής· 72και εκ της φυλής Ισσάχαρ την Κεδές και τα περίχωρα αυτής, την Δαβράθ και τα περίχωρα αυτής, 73και την Ραμώθ και τα περίχωρα αυτής, και την Ανείμ και τα περίχωρα αυτής· 74και εκ της φυλής Ασήρ την Μασάλ και τα περίχωρα αυτής, και την Αβδών και τα περίχωρα αυτής, 75και την Χουκώκ και τα περίχωρα αυτής, και την Ρεώβ και τα περίχωρα αυτής· 76και εκ της φυλής Νεφθαλί την Κεδές εν Γαλιλαία και τα περίχωρα αυτής, και την Αμμών και τα περίχωρα αυτής, και την Κιριαθαΐμ και τα περίχωρα αυτής. 77Εις τους υιούς του Μεραρί τους εναπολειφθέντας έδωκαν, εκ της φυλής του Ζαβουλών, την Ριμμών και τα περίχωρα αυτής, την Θαβώρ και τα περίχωρα αυτής· 78εις δε το πέραν του Ιορδάνου πλησίον της Ιεριχώ, προς ανατολάς του Ιορδάνου, έδωκαν, εκ της φυλής Ρουβήν την Βοσόρ εν τη ερήμω και τα περίχωρα αυτής, και την Ιασά και τα περίχωρα αυτής, 79και την Κεδημώθ και τα περίχωρα αυτής, και την Μηφαάθ και τα περίχωρα αυτής· 80και εκ της φυλής Γαδ την Ραμώθ εν Γαλαάδ και τα περίχωρα αυτής, και την Μαχαναΐμ και τα περίχωρα αυτής, 81και την Εσεβών και τα περίχωρα αυτής, και την Ιαζήρ και τα περίχωρα αυτής.

All their cities throughout their families were thirteen cities. 61To the rest of the sons of Kohath were given by lot, out of the family of the tribe, out of the half-tribe, the half of Manasseh, ten cities. 62To the sons of Gershom, according to their families, out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities. 63To the sons of Merari were given by lot, according to their families, out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities. 64The children of Israel gave to the Levites the cities with their suburbs. 65They gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these cities which are mentioned by name. 66Some of the families of the sons of Kohath had cities of their borders out of the tribe of Ephraim. 67They gave to them the cities of refuge, Shechem in the hill country of Ephraim with its suburbs; Gezer also with its suburbs, 68and Jokmeam with its suburbs, and Beth Horon with its suburbs, 69and Aijalon with its suburbs, and Gath Rimmon with its suburbs; 70and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Aner with its suburbs, and Bileam with its suburbs, for the rest of the family of the sons of Kohath. 71To the sons of Gershom were given, out of the family of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Golan in Bashan with its suburbs, and Ashtaroth with its suburbs; 72and out of the tribe of Issachar, Kedesh with its suburbs, Daberath with its suburbs, 73and Ramoth with its suburbs, and Anem with its suburbs; 74and out of the tribe of Asher, Mashal with its suburbs, and Abdon with its suburbs, 75and Hukok with its suburbs, and Rehob with its suburbs; 76and out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with its suburbs, and Hammon with its suburbs, and Kiriathaim with its suburbs. 77To the rest of the Levites, the sons of Merari, were given, out of the tribe of Zebulun, Rimmono with its suburbs, Tabor with its suburbs; 78and beyond the Jordan at Jericho, on the east side of the Jordan, were given them, out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer in the wilderness with its suburbs, and Jahzah with its suburbs, 79and Kedemoth with its suburbs, and Mephaath with its suburbs; 80and out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead with its suburbs, and Mahanaim with its suburbs, 81and Heshbon with its suburbs, and Jazer with its suburbs.

En dit zijn de huisgezinnen der Levieten, naar hun vaderen. 20Van Gerson: zijn zoon was Libni; zijn zoon Jahath; zijn zoon Zimma; 21Zijn zoon Joah; zijn zoon Iddo; zijn zoon Zerah; zijn zoon Jeathrai. 22De kinderen van Kahath waren: zijn zoon Amminadab; zijn zoon Korah; zijn zoon Assir; 23Zijn zoon Elkana; en zijn zoon Ebjasaf; en zijn zoon Assir; 24Zijn zoon Tahath; zijn zoon Uriel; zijn zoon Uzzia, en zijn zoon Saul. 25De kinderen van Elkana nu waren Amasia en Ahimoth. 26Elkana; dezes zoon was Elkana; zijn zoon was Zofai; en zijn zoon was Nahath; 27Zijn zoon Eliab; zijn zoon Jeroham; zijn zoon Elkana. 28De zonen van Samuel nu waren dezen: zijn eerstgeborene was Vasni, daarna Abia. 29De kinderen van Merari waren Maheli; zijn zoon Libni; zijn zoon Simei; zijn zoon Uzza; 30Zijn zoon Simea; zijn zoon Haggija; zijn zoon Asaja. 31Dezen nu zijn het, die David gesteld heeft tot het ambt des gezangs in het huis des HEEREN, nadat de ark tot rust gekomen was. 32En zij dienden voor den tabernakel van de tent der samenkomst met gezangen, totdat Salomo het huis des HEEREN te Jeruzalem bouwde; en zij stonden naar hun wijze in hun ambt. 33Dezen nu zijn ze, die daar stonden met hun zonen; van de zonen der Kahathieten, Heman de zanger, de zoon van Joel, den zoon van Samuel, 34Den zoon van Elkana, den zoon van Jeroham, den zoon van Eliel, den zoon van Toah, 35Den zoon van Zuf, den zoon van Elkana, den zoon van Mahath, den zoon van Amasai, 36Den zoon van Elkana, den zoon van Joel, den zoon van Azarja, den zoon van Zefanja, 37Den zoon van Tahath, den zoon van Assir, den zoon van Ebjasaf, den zoon van Korah, 38Den zoon van Jizhar, den zoon van Kahath, den zoon van Levi, den zoon van Israel. 39En zijn broeder Asaf stond aan zijn rechter zijde; Asaf was de zoon van Berechja, den zoon van Simea, 40Den zoon van Michael, den zoon van Baeseja, den zoon van Malchija, 41Den zoon van Ethni, den zoon van Zerah, den zoon van Adaja, 42Den zoon van Ethan, den zoon van Zimma, den zoon van Simei, 43Den zoon van Jahath, den zoon van Gerson, den zoon van Levi. 44Hunne broeders nu, de kinderen van Merari, stonden aan de linker zijde, namelijk Ethan, de zoon van Kisi, den zoon van Abdi, den zoon van Malluch, 45Den zoon van Hasabja, den zoon van Amazia, den zoon van Hilkia, 46Den zoon van Amzi, den zoon van Bani, den zoon van Semer, 47Den zoon van Maheli, den zoon van Musi, den zoon van Merari, den zoon van Levi. 48Hun broeders nu, de Levieten, waren gegeven tot allerlei dienst des tabernakels van het huis Gods. 49Aaron nu en zijn zonen rookten op het altaar des brandoffers, en op het reukaltaar, zijnde besteld tot al het werk van het heilige der heiligen, en om over Israel verzoening te doen, naar alles wat Mozes, de knecht Gods, geboden had. 50Dit nu zijn de kinderen van Aaron: Eleazar, was zijn zoon; Pinehas zijn zoon; Abisua zijn zoon; 51Bukki zijn zoon; Uzzi zijn zoon; Serahja zijn zoon; 52Merajoth zijn zoon; Amarja zijn zoon; Ahitub zijn zoon; 53Zadok zijn zoon; Ahimaaz zijn zoon. 54En dit waren hun woningen, naar hun kastelen, in hun landpalen, namelijk van de zonen van Aaron, van het huisgezin der Kahathieten, want dat lot was voor hen. 55En zij gaven hun Hebron, in het land van Juda, en haar voorsteden rondom dezelve. 56Maar het veld der stad, en haar dorpen, gaven zij Kaleb, den zoon van Jefunne. 57En den kinderen van Aaron gaven zij steden van Juda, de vrijstad Hebron, en Libna en haar voorsteden, en Jattir en Esthemoa, en haar voorsteden, 58En Hilen en haar voorsteden, en Debir en haar voorsteden, 59En Asan en haar voorsteden, en Beth-Semes en haar voorsteden. 60Van den stam van Benjamin nu: Geba en haar voorsteden, en Allemeth en haar voorsteden, en Anathoth en haar voorsteden. Al hun steden, in hun huisgezinnen, waren dertien steden. 61Maar de kinderen van Kahath, die overgebleven waren, hadden van het huisgezin van den stam, uit den halven stam van half Manasse, bij het lot, tien steden. 62En de kinderen van Gerson, naar hun huisgezinnen, hadden van den stam van Issaschar, en van den stam van Aser, en van den stam van Nafthali, en van den stam van Manasse in Basan, dertien steden. 63De kinderen van Merari, naar hun huisgezinnen, hadden van den stam van Ruben, en van den stam van Gad, en van den stam van Zebulon, bij het lot, twaalf steden. 64Alzo gaven de kinderen Israels aan de Levieten deze steden en haar voorsteden. 65En zij gaven ze bij het lot, van den stam der kinderen van Juda, en van den stam der kinderen van Simeon, en van den stam der kinderen van Benjamin, deze steden, dewelke zij bij namen noemden. 66Aan de overigen nu, uit de huisgezinnen der kinderen van Kahath, dien gewerden steden hunner landpale, van den stam van Efraim. 67Want zij gaven hun van de vrijsteden, Sichem en haar voorsteden op het gebergte van Efraim, en Gezer en haar voorsteden, 68En Jokmeam en haar voorsteden, en Beth-horon en haar voorsteden, 69En Ajalon en haar voorsteden, en Gath-Rimmon en haar voorsteden. 70En uit den halven stam van Manasse: Aner en haar voorsteden, en Bileam en haar voorsteden. De huisgezinnen der overige kinderen van Kahath hadden deze steden: 71De kinderen van Gerson hadden van de huisgezinnen van den halven stam van Manasse: Golan in Basan en haar voorsteden, en Astharoth, en haar voorsteden. 72En van den stam van Issaschar: Kedes en haar voorsteden, Dobrath en haar voorsteden, 73En Ramoth en haar voorsteden, en Anem en haar voorsteden. 74En van den stam van Aser: Masal en haar voorsteden, en Abdor en haar voorsteden, 75En Hukok en haar voorsteden, en Rehob en haar voorsteden. 76En van den stam van Nafthali: Kedes in Galilea, en haar voorsteden, en Hammon en haar voorsteden, en Kirjathaim en haar voorsteden. 77De overige kinderen van Merari hadden van den stam van Zebulon: Rimmono en haar voorsteden, Thabor en haar voorsteden; 78En aan gene zijde van de Jordaan tegen Jericho, tegen het oosten aan de Jordaan, van den stam van Ruben: Bezer in de woestijn, en haar voorsteden, en Jahza en haar voorsteden, 79En Kedemoth en haar voorsteden, en Mefaath en haar voorsteden; 80En van den stam van Gad: Ramoth in Gilead, en haar voorsteden, en Mahanaim en haar voorsteden, 81En Hesbon en haar voorsteden, en Jaezer en haar voorsteden.
