Zacarias 9

1Ang hula na salita ng Panginoon laban sa lupain ng Hadrach, at Damasco ang magiging pahingahang dako niyaon, (sapagka't ang mata ng tao at ang lahat ng mga lipi ng Israel ay nasa Panginoon); 2At gayon din sa Hamath, na kahangganan nito; sa Tiro at Sidon, sapagka't sila'y totoong pantas. 3At ang Tiro ay nagtayo ng katibayan, at nagbunton ng pilak na parang alabok, at ng mainam na ginto na parang putik sa mga lansangan. 4Narito, aalisan siya ng Panginoon, at kaniyang sisirain sa dagat ang kapangyarihan niya; at siya'y lalamunin ng apoy. 5Makikita ng Ascalon, at matatakot; ng Gaza rin, at mamamanglaw na mainam, at ng Ecron, sapagka't ang kaniyang pagasa ay mapapahiya; at ang hari ay mamamatay sa Gaza, at ang Ascalon ay hindi tatahanan. 6At isang anak sa ligaw ay tatahan sa Asdod, at aking puputulin ang kapalaluan ng mga Filisteo. 7At aking aalisin ang kaniyang dugo sa kaniyang bibig, at ang kaniyang mga kasuklamsuklam sa pagitan ng kaniyang mga ngipin; at siya nama'y maiiwan para sa ating Dios: at siya'y magiging gaya ng pangulo sa Juda, at ang Ecron ay gaya ng Jebuseo. 8At ako'y magtitirik ng kampamento sa palibot ng aking bahay laban sa hukbo, na walang makadadaan ni makababalik; at walang mamimighati na daraan pa sa mga yaon: sapagka't ngayo'y tumingin ako ng aking mga mata. 9Magalak kang mainam, Oh anak na babae ng Sion; humiyaw ka, Oh anak na babae ng Jerusalem: narito, ang iyong hari ay naparirito sa iyo; siya'y ganap at may pagliligtas; mapagmababa, at nakasakay sa isang asno, sa isang batang asno na anak ng asnong babae. 10At aking ihihiwalay ang karo mula sa Ephraim, at ang kabayo'y mula sa Jerusalem; at ang mga busog na pangbaka ay mapuputol; at siya'y magsasalita ng kapayapaan sa mga bansa: at ang kaniyang kapangyarihan ay magiging sa dagat at dagat, at mula sa ilog hanggang sa mga wakas ng lupa. 11Tungkol sa iyo naman, dahil sa dugo ng iyong tipan ay aking pinalabas ang iyong mga bilanggo sa hukay na walang tubig. 12Mangagbalik kayo sa katibayan, kayong mga bilanggo na may pag-asa, ngayo'y aking inihahayag na aking igagawad sa inyo na makalawa. 13Sapagka't aking binaluktot ang Juda para sa akin, aking inakmaan ang Ephraim ng busog; at aking gigisingin ang iyong mga anak, Oh Sion, laban sa iyong mga anak, Oh Grecia, at gagawin kitang parang tabak ng makapangyarihang lalake. 14At ang Panginoo'y makikita sa itaas nila; at lalabas ang kaniyang pana na parang kidlat; at ang Panginoong Dios ay hihihip ng pakakak, at yayaon na kasama ng mga ipoipo sa timugan. 15Ipagsasanggalang sila ng Panginoon ng mga hukbo; at sila'y mangananakmal, at kanilang yayapakan ang mga batong panghilagpos; at sila'y magsisiinom, at mangagiingay na gaya ng sa alak; at sila'y mangapupunong parang mga taza, parang mga sulok ng dambana. 16At ililigtas sila ng Panginoon nilang Dios sa araw na yaon na gaya ng kawan ng kaniyang bayan; sapagka't magiging gaya ng mga bato ng isang putong na nataas sa mataas sa kaniyang lupain. 17Sapagka't pagkalaki ng kaniyang kabutihan, at pagkalaki ng kaniyang kagandahan! pagiginhawahin ng trigo ang mga binata, at ng bagong alak ang mga dalaga;

1An oracle. Yahweh’s word is against the land of Hadrach, and will rest upon Damascus; for the eye of man and of all the tribes of Israel is toward Yahweh; 2and Hamath, also, which borders on it; Tyre and Sidon, because they are very wise. 3Tyre built herself a stronghold, and heaped up silver like the dust, and fine gold like the mire of the streets. 4Behold, the Lord will dispossess her, and he will strike her power in the sea; and she will be devoured with fire. 5Ashkelon will see it, and fear; Gaza also, and will writhe in agony; as will Ekron, for her expectation will be disappointed; and the king will perish from Gaza, and Ashkelon will not be inhabited. 6Foreigners will dwell in Ashdod, and I will cut off the pride of the Philistines. 7I will take away his blood out of his mouth, and his abominations from between his teeth; and he also will be a remnant for our God; and he will be as a chieftain in Judah, and Ekron as a Jebusite. 8I will encamp around my house against the army, that no one pass through or return; and no oppressor will pass through them any more: for now I have seen with my eyes. 9Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion! Shout, daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King comes to you! He is righteous, and having salvation; lowly, and riding on a donkey, even on a colt, the foal of a donkey. 10I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem; and the battle bow will be cut off; and he will speak peace to the nations: and his dominion will be from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth. 11As for you also, because of the blood of your covenant, I have set free your prisoners from the pit in which is no water. 12Turn to the stronghold, you prisoners of hope! Even today I declare that I will restore double to you. 13For indeed I bend Judah as a bow for me. I have filled the bow with Ephraim; and I will stir up your sons, Zion, against your sons, Greece, and will make you like the sword of a mighty man. 14Yahweh will be seen over them; and his arrow will go flash like lightning; and the Lord Yahweh will blow the trumpet, and will go with whirlwinds of the south. 15Yahweh of Armies will defend them; and they will destroy and overcome with sling stones; and they will drink, and roar as through wine; and they will be filled like bowls, like the corners of the altar. 16Yahweh their God will save them in that day as the flock of his people; for they are like the jewels of a crown, lifted on high over his land. 17For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! Grain will make the young men flourish, and new wine the virgins.

1De last van het woord des HEEREN over het land Chadrach en Damaskus, deszelfs rust; want de HEERE heeft een oog over den mens, gelijk over al de stammen Israels. 2En ook zal Hij Hamath met dezelve bepalen; Tyrus en Sidon, hoewel zij zeer wijs is; 3En Tyrus zich sterkten gebouwd heeft, en zilver verzameld heeft als stof, en fijn goud als slijk der straten; 4Ziet, de HEERE zal haar uit het bezit stoten, en Hij zal haar vesting in de zee verslaan; en zij zal met vuur verteerd worden. 5Askelon zal het zien, en zal vrezen; desgelijks Gaza, en zal grote smart hebben, mitsgaders Ekron, dewijl hetgeen, waar zij op zagen, hen heeft te schande gemaakt; en de koning van Gaza zal vergaan, en Askelon zal niet bewoond worden. 6En de bastaard zal te Asdod wonen, en Ik zal den hoogmoed der Filistijnen uitroeien. 7En Ik zal zijn bloed uit zijn mond wegdoen, en zijn verfoeiselen van tussen zijn tanden; alzo zal hij ook onzen God overblijven; ja, hij zal zijn als een vorst in Juda, en Ekron als de Jebusiet. 8En Ik zal Mij rondom Mijn huis legeren, vanwege het heirleger, vanwege den doorgaande, en vanwege den wederkerende, opdat de drijver niet meer door hen doorga; want nu heb Ik het met Mijn ogen aangezien. 9Verheug u zeer, gij dochter Sions! juich, gij dochter Jeruzalems! Ziet, uw Koning zal u komen, rechtvaardig, en Hij is een Heiland; arm, en rijdende op een ezel, en op een veulen, een jong der ezelinnen. 10En Ik zal de wagens uit Efraim uitroeien, en de paarden uit Jeruzalem; ook zal de strijdboog uitgeroeid worden, en Hij zal den heidenen vrede spreken; en Zijn heerschappij zal zijn van zee tot aan zee, en van de rivier tot aan de einden der aarde. 11U ook aangaande, o Sion! door het bloed uws verbonds, heb Ik uw gebondenen uit den kuil, daar geen water in is, uitgelaten. 12Keert gijlieden weder tot de sterkte, gij gebondenen, die daar hoopt! ook heden verkondig Ik, dat Ik u dubbel zal wedergeven; 13Als Ik Mij Juda zal gespannen, en Ik Efraim den boog zal gevuld hebben; en Ik uw kinderen, o Sion! zal verwekt hebben tegen uw kinderen, o Griekenland! en u gesteld zal hebben als het zwaard van een held. 14En de HEERE zal over henlieden verschijnen, en Zijn pijlen zullen uitvaren als een bliksem; en de Heere HEERE zal met de bazuin blazen, en Hij zal voorttreden met stormen uit het zuiden. 15De HEERE der heirscharen zal hen beschutten, en zij zullen eten, nadat zij de slingerstenen zullen ten ondergebracht hebben; zij zullen ook drinken, en een gedruis maken als de wijn; en zij zullen vervuld worden, gelijk het bekken, gelijk de hoeken des altaars. 16En de HEERE, hun God, zal ze te dien dage behouden, als zijnde de kudde Zijns volks; want gekroonde stenen zullen in Zijn land, als een banier, opgericht worden. 17Want hoe groot zal zijn goed wezen en hoe groot zal zijn schoonheid wezen! Het koren zal de jongelingen, en de most zal de jonkvrouwen sprekende maken.
