1Nang unang taon nga ni Ciro na hari sa Persia, upang ang salita ng Panginoon sa pamamagitan ng bibig ni Jeremias ay maganap, kinilos ng Panginoon ang diwa ni Ciro na hari sa Persia, na siya'y nagtanyag sa kaniyang buong kaharian, at isinulat din naman, na sinasabi, 2Ganito ang sabi ni Ciro na hari sa Persia, Ibinigay sa akin ng Panginoon, ng Dios ng langit, ang lahat na kaharian sa lupa; at ibinilin niya sa akin na ipagtayo ko siya ng isang bahay sa Jerusalem, na nasa Juda. 3Sinoman sa inyo sa kaniyang buong bayan, sumakaniya nawa ang kaniyang Dios, at umahon siya sa Jerusalem, na nasa Juda, at itayo ang bahay ng Panginoon, ng Dios ng Israel, (siya'y Dios,) na nasa Jerusalem. 4At sinomang naiwan sa alinmang dako na kaniyang pinakikipamayanan, tulungan siya ng mga lalake sa kaniyang kinaroroonan ng pilak, at ng ginto, at ng mga pag-aari, at ng mga hayop, bukod sa kusang handog sa bahay ng Dios na nasa Jerusalem. 5Nang magkagayo'y nagsibangon ang mga pangulo ng mga sangbahayan ng mga magulang ng Juda at Benjamin, at ang mga saserdote, at ang mga Levita, sa makatuwid baga'y lahat na ang diwa'y kinilos ng Dios na magsiahong itayo ang bahay ng Panginoon na nasa Jerusalem. 6At lahat na nangasa palibot nila ay nangagpatibay sa kanilang mga kamay ng mga sisidlang pilak, ng ginto, ng mga pag-aari, at ng mga hayop, at ng mga mahalagang bagay, bukod pa sa lahat na kusang inihandog. 7Inilabas din naman ni Ciro na hari ang mga sisidlan ng bahay ng Panginoon na inilabas ni Nabucodonosor sa Jerusalem, at inilagay sa bahay ng kaniyang mga dios; 8Sa makatuwid baga'y yaong mga inilabas ni Ciro na hari sa Persia sa pamamagitan ng kamay ni Mitridates na tagaingat-yaman, at mga binilang kay Sesbassar, na prinsipe sa Juda. 9At ito ang bilang ng mga yaon: tatlong pung pinggang ginto, at isang libong pinggang pilak, dalawang pu't siyam na sundang; 10Tatlong pung mangkok na ginto, mga mangkok na pilak na ikalawang ayos ay apat na raan at sangpu, at ang ibang mga sisidlan ay isang libo. 11Lahat na sisidlang ginto at pilak ay limang libo at apat na raan. Ang lahat ng mga ito ay ipinaahon ni Sesbassar, nang silang sa pagkabihag ay ipagahong mula sa Babilonia hanggang sa Jerusalem.
1Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that Yahweh’s word by the mouth of Jeremiah might be accomplished, Yahweh stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying, 2“Thus says Cyrus king of Persia, ‘Yahweh, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he has commanded me to build him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. 3Whoever there is among you of all his people, may his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of Yahweh, the God of Israel (he is God), which is in Jerusalem. 4Whoever is left, in any place where he lives, let the men of his place help him with silver, with gold, with goods, and with animals, besides the freewill offering for God’s house which is in Jerusalem.’” 5Then the heads of fathers’ households of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, even all whose spirit God had stirred to go up rose up to build Yahweh’s house which is in Jerusalem. 6All those who were around them strengthened their hands with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, and with animals, and with precious things, besides all that was willingly offered. 7Also Cyrus the king brought out the vessels of Yahweh’s house, which Nebuchadnezzar had brought out of Jerusalem, and had put in the house of his gods; 8even those, Cyrus king of Persia brought out by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and numbered them to Sheshbazzar, the prince of Judah. 9This is the number of them: thirty platters of gold, one thousand platters of silver, twenty-nine knives, 10thirty bowls of gold, silver bowls of a second sort four hundred and ten, and other vessels one thousand. 11All the vessels of gold and of silver were five thousand and four hundred. Sheshbazzar brought all these up, when the captives were brought up from Babylon to Jerusalem.
1In het eerste jaar nu van Kores, koning van Perzie, opdat volbracht wierd het woord des HEEREN, uit den mond van Jeremia, verwekte de HEERE den geest van Kores, koning van Perzie, dat hij een stem liet doorgaan door zijn ganse koninkrijk, zelfs ook in geschrift, zeggende: 2Zo zegt Kores, koning van Perzie: De HEERE, de God des hemels, heeft mij alle koninkrijken der aarde gegeven; en Hij heeft mij bevolen Hem een huis te bouwen te Jeruzalem, hetwelk in Juda is. 3Wie is onder ulieden van al Zijn volk? Zijn God zij met hem, en hij trekke op naar Jeruzalem, dat in Juda is, en hij bouwe het huis des HEEREN, des Gods van Israel; Hij is de God, Die te Jeruzalem woont. 4En al wie achterblijven zou in enige plaatsen, waar hij als vreemdeling verkeert, dien zullen de lieden zijner plaats bevorderlijk zijn met zilver, en met goud, en met have, en met beesten; benevens een vrijwillige gave, voor het huis Gods, Die te Jeruzalem woont. 5Toen maakten zich op de hoofden der vaderen van Juda en Benjamin, en de priesteren en de Levieten, benevens een iegelijk, wiens geest God verwekte, dat zij optrokken om te bouwen het huis des HEEREN, die te Jeruzalem woont. 6Allen nu, die rondom hen waren, sterkten hunlieder handen met zilveren vaten, met goud, met have, en met beesten, en met kostelijkheden; behalve alles, wat vrijwillig gegeven werd. 7Ook bracht de koning Kores uit, de vaten van het huis des HEEREN, die Nebukadnezar uit Jeruzalem had uitgevoerd, en had gesteld in het huis zijns gods. 8En Kores, de koning van Perzie, bracht ze uit door de hand van Mithredath, den schatmeester, die ze aan Sesbazar, den vorst van Juda, toetelde. 9En dit is hun getal: dertig gouden bekkens, duizend zilveren bekkens, negen en twintig messen; 10Dertig gouden bekers, vierhonderd en tien andere zilveren bekers; andere vaten, duizend. 11Alle vaten van goud en van zilver waren vijf duizend en vierhonderd; deze alle voerde Sesbazar op, met degenen, die van de gevangenis opgevoerd werden, van Babel naar Jeruzalem.
