Mga Efeso 6

1Mga anak, magsitalima kayo sa inyong mga magulang sa Panginoon: sapagka't ito'y matuwid. 2Igalang mo ang iyong ama at ina (na siyang unang utos na may pangako), 3Upang yumaon kang mabuti, at ikaw ay mabuhay na malaon sa lupa. 4At, kayong mga ama, huwag ninyong ipamungkahi sa galit ang inyong mga anak: kundi inyong turuan sila ayon sa saway at aral ng Panginoon. 5Mga alipin, magsitalima kayo sa mga yaong ayon sa laman ay inyong mga panginoon, na may takot at panginginig, sa katapatan ng inyong puso, na gaya ng kay Cristo; 6Hindi ang paglilingkod sa paningin, na gaya ng pagbibigay lugod sa mga tao; kundi bagkus gaya ng mga alipin ni Cristo, na ginagawa mula sa puso ang kalooban ng Dios; 7Maglingkod na may mabuting kalooban, na gaya ng sa Panginoon, at hindi sa mga tao: 8Yamang napagaalaman na anomang mabuting bagay na gawin ng bawa't isa, ay gayon din ang muling tatanggapin niya sa Panginoon, maging alipin o laya. 9At kayong mga panginoon, gayon din ang inyong gawin sa kanila, at iwan ninyo ang mga pagbabala: yamang napagaalaman na ang Panginoon nila at ninyo ay nasa langit, at sa kaniya'y walang itinatanging tao. 10Sa katapustapusa'y magpakalakas kayo sa Panginoon, at sa kapangyarihan ng kaniyang kalakasan. 11Mangagbihis kayo ng buong kagayakan ng Dios, upang kayo'y magsitibay laban sa mga lalang ng diablo. 12Sapagka't ang ating pakikibaka ay hindi laban sa laman at dugo, kundi laban sa mga pamunuan, laban sa mga kapangyarihan, laban sa mga namamahala ng kadilimang ito sa sanglibutan, laban sa mga ukol sa espiritu ng kasamaan sa mga dakong kaitaasan. 13Dahil dito magsikuha kayo ng buong kagayakan ng Dios, upang kayo'y mangakatagal sa araw na masama, at kung magawa ang lahat, ay magsitibay. 14Magsitibay nga kayo, na ang inyong mga baywang ay may bigkis na katotohanan, na may sakbat na baluti ng katuwiran, 15At ang inyong mga paa ay may panyapak na paghahanda ng evangelio ng kapayapaan; 16Bukod dito ay taglayin ninyo ang kalasag ng pananampalataya, na siyang ipapatay ninyo sa lahat ng nangagniningas na suligi ng masama. 17At magsikuha rin naman kayo ng turbante ng kaligtasan, at ng tabak ng Espiritu, na siyang salita ng Dios: 18Na magsipanalangin kayo sa Espiritu ng lahat ng panalangin at daing sa buong panahon, at mangagpuyat sa buong katiyagaan at daing na patungkol sa lahat ng mga banal, 19At sa akin, upang ako'y pagkalooban ng pananalita sa pagbubuka ng aking bibig, upang ipakilalang may katapangan ang hiwaga ng evangelio, 20Na dahil dito ako'y isang sugong natatanikalaan; upang sa ganito ako'y magsalita na may katapangan gaya ng nararapat na aking salitain. 21Datapuwa't upang mangaalaman ninyo naman ang mga bagay na ukol sa akin, at ang kalagayan ko, si Tiquico na aking minamahal na kapatid at tapat na ministro sa Panginoon, ay siyang magpapakilala sa inyo ng lahat ng mga bagay: 22Na siyang aking sinugo sa inyo sa bagay na ito, upang makilala ninyo ang aming kalagayan, at upang kaniyang aliwin ang inyong mga puso. 23Kapayapaan nawa sa mga kapatid, at pagibig na may pananampalataya, mula sa Dios Ama at sa Panginoong Jesucristo. 24Ang biyaya nawa'y sumalahat ng mga nagsisiibig sa ating Panginoong Jesucristo ng pagibig na walang pagkasira. Siya nawa.

1Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2“Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with a promise: 3“that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.” 4You fathers, don’t provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. 5Servants, be obedient to those who according to the flesh are your masters, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as to Christ; 6not in the way of service only when eyes are on you, as men pleasers; but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; 7with good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men; 8knowing that whatever good thing each one does, he will receive the same again from the Lord, whether he is bound or free. 9You masters, do the same things to them, and give up threatening, knowing that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no partiality with him. 10Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. 11Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13Therefore put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand. 14Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace; 16above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. 17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints: 19on my behalf, that utterance may be given to me in opening my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the Good News, 20for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. 21But that you also may know my affairs, how I am doing, Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful servant in the Lord, will make known to you all things; 22whom I have sent to you for this very purpose, that you may know our state, and that he may comfort your hearts. 23Peace be to the brothers, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 24Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ with incorruptible love. Amen.

1Gij kinderen, zijt uw ouderen gehoorzaam in den Heere; want dat is recht. 2Eert uw vader en moeder (hetwelk het eerste gebod is met een belofte), 3Opdat het u welga, en dat gij lang leeft op de aarde. 4En gij vaders, verwekt uw kinderen niet tot toorn, maar voedt hen op in de lering en vermaning des Heeren. 5Gij dienstknechten, zijt gehoorzaam uw heren naar het vlees, met vreze en beven, in eenvoudigheid uws harten, gelijk als aan Christus; 6Niet naar ogendienst, als mensenbehagers, maar als dienstknechten van Christus, doende den wil van God van harte; 7Dienende met goedwilligheid den Heere, en niet de mensen; 8Wetende, dat zo wat goed een iegelijk gedaan zal hebben, hij datzelve van den Heere zal ontvangen, hetzij dienstknecht, hetzij vrije. 9En gij heren, doet hetzelfde bij hen, nalatende de dreiging; als die weet, dat ook uw eigen Heere in de hemelen is, en dat geen aanneming des persoons bij Hem is. 10Voorts, mijn broeders, wordt krachtig in den Heere, en in de sterkte Zijner macht. 11Doet aan de gehele wapenrusting Gods, opdat gij kunt staan tegen de listige omleidingen des duivels. 12Want wij hebben den strijd niet tegen vlees en bloed, maar tegen de overheden, tegen de machten, tegen de geweldhebbers der wereld, der duisternis dezer eeuw, tegen de geestelijke boosheden in de lucht. 13Daarom neemt aan de gehele wapenrusting Gods, opdat gij kunt wederstaan in den bozen dag, en alles verricht hebbende, staande blijven. 14Staat dan, uw lenden omgord hebbende met de waarheid, en aangedaan hebbende het borstwapen der gerechtigheid; 15En de voeten geschoeid hebbende met bereidheid van het Evangelie des vredes; 16Bovenal aangenomen hebbende het schild des geloofs, met hetwelk gij al de vurige pijlen des bozen zult kunnen uitblussen. 17En neemt den helm der zaligheid, en het zwaard des Geestes, hetwelk is Gods Woord. 18Met alle bidding en smeking, biddende te allen tijd in den Geest, en tot hetzelve wakende met alle gedurigheid en smeking voor al de heiligen; 19En voor mij, opdat mij het Woord gegeven worde in de opening mijns monds met vrijmoedigheid, om de verborgenheid van het Evangelie bekend te maken; 20Waarover ik een gezant ben in een keten, opdat ik in hetzelve vrijmoediglijk moge spreken, gelijk mij betaamt te spreken. 21En opdat ook gij moogt weten hetgeen mij aangaat; en wat ik doe, dat alles zal u Tychikus, de geliefde broeder en getrouwe dienaar in den Heere, bekend maken; 22Denwelken ik tot datzelfde einde tot u gezonden heb, opdat gij onze zaken zoudt weten, en hij uw harten zou vertroosten. 23Vrede zij den broederen, en liefde met geloof, van God den Vader, en den Heere Jezus Christus. 24De genade zij met al degenen, die onzen Heere Jezus Christus liefhebben in onverderfelijkheid. Amen.
