1Kisha mfalme akawaita pamoja wazee wote wa Yuda na Yerusalemu. 2Akapanda kwenda hekaluni mwa Bwana pamoja na watu wa Yuda, watu wa Yerusalemu, makuhani na manabii, watu wote wakubwa kwa wadogo. Akasoma wakiwa wanasikia maneno yote ya Kitabu cha Agano, ambacho kilikuwa kimepatikana katika Hekalu la Bwana. 3Mfalme akasimama karibu na nguzo, na kufanya upya agano mbele za Bwana: yaani kumfuata Bwana na kuzishika amri zake, maagizo na sheria kwa moyo wake wote na kwa roho yake yote, hivyo kuyathibitisha maneno ya agano yaliyoandikwa katika kitabu hiki. Kisha watu wote wakajifunga wenyewe kwa kiapo katika agano. 4Mfalme akamwamuru Hilkia kuhani mkuu, makuhani waliomfuata kwa cheo, na mabawabu kuondoa kutoka kwenye Hekalu la Bwana vyombo vyote vilivyofanywa kwa ajili ya Baali na Ashera na jeshi lote la mianga ya angani! Akavichoma nje ya Yerusalemu katika mashamba ya Bonde la Kidroni, na kuyachukua hayo majivu mpaka Betheli. 5Akawafukuza makuhani wa kipagani waliokuwa wameteuliwa na wafalme wa Yuda kufukiza uvumba katika mahali pa juu pa kuabudia miungu katika miji ya Yuda na ile iliyozunguka Yerusalemu, yaani wale waliofukiza uvumba kwa Baali, kwa jua na mwezi, kwa makundi ya nyota, na jeshi lote la angani. 6Akaiondoa nguzo ya Ashera kutoka kwenye Hekalu la Bwana, na kuipeleka kwenye Bonde la Kidroni nje ya Yerusalemu, akaiteketeza huko. Akaisaga hadi ikawa unga na kusambaza hilo vumbi juu ya makaburi ya watu wa kawaida. 7Akabomoa pia nyumba za mahanithi wa mahali pa ibada za miungu, zilizokuwa ndani ya Hekalu la Bwana na mahali wanawake walipofuma kwa ajili ya Ashera. 8Yosia akawaleta makuhani wote wa Bwana kutoka miji yote ya Yuda, na kunajisi mahali pa juu pa kuabudia miungu, kuanzia Geba hadi Beer-Sheba, mahali pote ambapo hao makuhani wa miungu walifukiza uvumba. Akabomoa mahali pa kuwekea vitu vya ibada za miungu palipokuwa katika malango, kwenye ingilio la Lango la Yoshua, mtawala wa mji, lililoko upande wa kushoto wa lango la mji. 9Ingawa makuhani wa mahali pa juu pa kuabudia miungu hawakuhudumu katika madhabahu ya Bwana katika Yerusalemu, walikula mikate isiyotiwa chachu miongoni mwa ndugu zao. 10Kisha mfalme akanajisi Tofethi, palipokuwa katika Bonde la Ben-Hinomu, ili mtu yeyote asiweze kupatumia kumtoa kafara mwanawe au binti yake katika moto kwa mungu Moleki. 11Akaondoa kutoka kwenye ingilio la Hekalu la Bwana wale farasi ambao wafalme wa Yuda walikuwa wamewaweka wakfu kwa ajili ya jua. Walikuwa kwenye ua karibu na chumba cha afisa aliyeitwa Nathan-Meleki. Basi Yosia akayachoma moto yale magari yaliyokuwa yamewekwa wakfu kwa jua. 12Alizivunja madhabahu ambazo wafalme wa Yuda walikuwa wamezijenga kwenye paa la ghorofa ya Ahazi, pia madhabahu alizokuwa amezijenga Manase katika nyua mbili za Hekalu la Bwana. Akaziondoa huko, akazivunja vipande vipande, na kutupa hicho kifusi katika Bonde la Kidroni. 13Mfalme pia akanajisi mahali pa juu pa kuabudia miungu, palipokuwa mashariki ya Yerusalemu upande wa kusini wa Kilima cha Uharibifu, pale ambapo Solomoni mfalme wa Israeli alikuwa amejenga kwa ajili ya Ashtorethi mungu mke chukizo la Wasidoni, kwa ajili ya Kemoshi mungu chukizo la Wamoabu, na kwa ajili ya Moleki mungu chukizo la watu wa Amoni. 14Yosia akapasua yale mawe ya kuabudiwa na kuzikatakata nguzo za Ashera. Kisha akafunika hayo maeneo kwa mifupa ya wanadamu. 15Hata madhabahu yaliyokuwa huko Betheli, mahali pa juu pa kuabudia miungu palipokuwa pamejengwa na Yeroboamu mwana wa Nebati, ambaye aliwafanya Israeli watende dhambi, alibomoa hata hayo madhabahu na mahali pa juu pa kuabudia miungu. Alipateketeza kwa moto hapo mahali pa juu pa kuabudia miungu na kupasaga hadi pakawa vumbi, na kuichoma hiyo nguzo ya Ashera pia. 16Kisha Yosia akatazama huku na huko, naye alipoona makaburi yaliyokuwa huko kwenye kilima, akaamuru mifupa itolewe humo na akaichoma juu ya madhabahu ya Betheli ili kupanajisi. Hili lilitokea kulingana na neno la Bwana lililosemwa na mtu wa Mungu ambaye alitangulia kusema mambo haya. 17Mfalme akauliza, “Lile kaburi lenye mnara wa ukumbusho ninaloliona ni kwa ajili gani?” Watu wa mji wakasema, “Hii ni alama ya kaburi la mtu wa Mungu aliyekuja kutoka Yuda, naye akanena dhidi ya hii madhabahu ya Betheli mambo yale yale uliyoifanyia leo.” 18Akasema, “Liacheni, msiliguse. Msimruhusu mtu yeyote kuiondoa mifupa yake.” Basi wakaiacha mifupa yake pamoja na ile ya yule nabii ambaye alikuwa amekuja kutoka Samaria. 19Kama alivyokuwa amefanya huko Betheli, Yosia akabomoa na kunajisi mahali pa kuabudia miungu kwenye mahali pa juu ambapo wafalme wa Israeli walikuwa wamejenga ndani ya miji ya Samaria, ambayo ilikuwa imemghadhibisha Bwana. 20Yosia akawachinja makuhani wote wa mahali pa juu pa kuabudia miungu katika madhabahu zao wenyewe, na kuchoma mifupa ya wanadamu juu yake. Kisha akarudi Yerusalemu. 21Mfalme akatoa agizo hili kwa watu wote: “Adhimisheni Pasaka kwa Bwana Mungu wenu, kama ilivyoandikwa katika Kitabu hiki cha Agano.” 22Hapakuwahi kuwepo na adhimisho lingine la Pasaka kama hilo tangu nyakati za Waamuzi walioongoza Israeli, wala katika nyakati zote za wafalme wa Israeli na wafalme wa Yuda. 23Lakini katika mwaka wa kumi na nane wa utawala wa Mfalme Yosia, Pasaka hii iliadhimishwa kwa Bwana huko Yerusalemu. 24Zaidi ya hayo, Yosia akawaondoa waaguzi, wanaoabudu mizimu, sanamu za kuagulia, sanamu za kuabudiwa, na vitu vingine vyote vya machukizo vilivyoonekana huko Yuda na Yerusalemu. Aliyafanya haya ili kutimiza matakwa ya sheria iliyoandikwa ndani ya kile kitabu ambacho Hilkia kuhani alikipata ndani ya Hekalu la Bwana. 25Kabla wala baada ya Mfalme Yosia hapakuwepo na mfalme mwingine yeyote ambaye alimpenda Bwana kwa moyo wake wote, kwa roho yake yote, na kwa nguvu zake zote, sawasawa na Sheria yote ya Mose. 26Hata hivyo, Bwana hakuacha ghadhabu yake iliyowaka dhidi ya Yuda kwa sababu ya yale yote ambayo Manase alikuwa amefanya kumghadhibisha. 27Hivyo Bwana akasema, “Nitamwondoa Yuda mbele zangu kama nilivyomwondoa Israeli, nami nitaukataa Yerusalemu, mji niliouchagua, na Hekalu hili, ambalo nilisema, ‘Jina langu litakaa humo.’” 28Matukio mengine ya utawala wa Yosia na yote aliyoyafanya, je, hayakuandikwa katika kitabu cha kumbukumbu za wafalme wa Yuda? 29Yosia alipokuwa mfalme, Farao Neko mfalme wa Misri akapanda mpaka Mto Frati kumsaidia mfalme wa Ashuru. Mfalme Yosia akatoka kwenda kupigana naye, lakini Neko akamkabili na kumuua huko Megido. 30Watumishi wa Yosia wakauleta mwili wake katika gari la vita kutoka Megido hadi Yerusalemu, wakamzika kwenye kaburi lake mwenyewe. Nao watu wa nchi wakamchukua Yehoahazi mwana wa Yosia, wakamtia mafuta na kumfanya mfalme mahali pa baba yake. 31Yehoahazi alikuwa na umri wa miaka ishirini na mitatu alipoanza kutawala, naye akatawala huko Yerusalemu kwa miezi mitatu. Jina la mama yake aliitwa Hamutali binti Yeremia kutoka Libna. 32Akafanya maovu machoni mwa Bwana, kama baba zake walivyofanya. 33Farao Neko akamfunga kwa minyororo huko Ribla katika nchi ya Hamathi ili asiweze kutawala huko Yerusalemu, naye akatoza kodi ya talanta mia moja za fedha, na talanta moja ya dhahabu katika Yuda. 34Farao Neko akamfanya Eliakimu mwana wa Yosia kuwa mfalme mahali pa baba yake Yosia, na kulibadilisha jina la Eliakimu kuwa Yehoyakimu. Lakini akamchukua Yehoahazi na kumpeleka Misri, naye akafia huko. 35Yehoyakimu akamlipa Farao Neko ile fedha na dhahabu aliyodai. Ili kuweza kufanya hivyo, Yehoyakimu akatoza nchi kodi na kulipiza fedha na dhahabu kutoka kwa watu wa nchi kulingana na makadrio ya mapato yao. 36Yehoyakimu alikuwa na umri wa miaka ishirini na mitano alipoanza kutawala, naye akatawala huko Yerusalemu miaka kumi na mmoja. Jina la mama yake aliitwa Zebida binti Pedaya kutoka Ruma. 37Naye akafanya maovu machoni mwa Bwana, kama baba zake walivyokuwa wamefanya.
1The king sent, and they gathered to him all the elders of Judah and of Jerusalem. 2The king went up to Yahweh’s house, and all the men of Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem with him, and the priests, and the prophets, and all the people, both small and great: and he read in their ears all the words of the book of the covenant which was found in Yahweh’s house. 3The king stood by the pillar, and made a covenant before Yahweh, to walk after Yahweh, and to keep his commandments, and his testimonies, and his statutes, with all his heart, and all his soul, to confirm the words of this covenant that were written in this book: and all the people stood to the covenant. 4The king commanded Hilkiah the high priest, and the priests of the second order, and the keepers of the threshold, to bring out of Yahweh’s temple all the vessels that were made for Baal, and for the Asherah, and for all the army of the sky, and he burned them outside of Jerusalem in the fields of the Kidron, and carried their ashes to Bethel. 5He put down the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense in the high places in the cities of Judah, and in the places around Jerusalem; those also who burned incense to Baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the planets, and to all the army of the sky. 6He brought out the Asherah from Yahweh’s house, outside of Jerusalem, to the brook Kidron, and burned it at the brook Kidron, and beat it to dust, and cast its dust on the graves of the common people. 7He broke down the houses of the sodomites, that were in Yahweh’s house, where the women wove hangings for the Asherah. 8He brought all the priests out of the cities of Judah, and defiled the high places where the priests had burned incense, from Geba to Beersheba; and he broke down the high places of the gates that were at the entrance of the gate of Joshua the governor of the city, which were on a man’s left hand at the gate of the city. 9Nevertheless the priests of the high places didn’t come up to the altar of Yahweh in Jerusalem, but they ate unleavened bread among their brothers. 10He defiled Topheth, which is in the valley of the children of Hinnom, that no man might make his son or his daughter to pass through the fire to Molech. 11He took away the horses that the kings of Judah had given to the sun, at the entrance of Yahweh’s house, by the room of Nathan Melech the officer, who was in the court; and he burned the chariots of the sun with fire. 12The king broke down the altars that were on the roof of the upper room of Ahaz, which the kings of Judah had made, and the altars which Manasseh had made in the two courts of Yahweh’s house, and beat them down from there, and cast their dust into the brook Kidron. 13The king defiled the high places that were before Jerusalem, which were on the right hand of the mountain of corruption, which Solomon the king of Israel had built for Ashtoreth the abomination of the Sidonians, and for Chemosh the abomination of Moab, and for Milcom the abomination of the children of Ammon. 14He broke in pieces the pillars, and cut down the Asherah poles, and filled their places with the bones of men. 15Moreover the altar that was at Bethel, and the high place which Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin, had made, even that altar and the high place he broke down; and he burned the high place and beat it to dust, and burned the Asherah. 16As Josiah turned himself, he spied the tombs that were there in the mountain; and he sent, and took the bones out of the tombs, and burned them on the altar, and defiled it, according to Yahweh’s word which the man of God proclaimed, who proclaimed these things. 17Then he said, “What monument is that which I see?” The men of the city told him, “It is the tomb of the man of God, who came from Judah, and proclaimed these things that you have done against the altar of Bethel.” 18He said, “Let him be! Let no man move his bones.” So they let his bones alone, with the bones of the prophet who came out of Samaria. 19All the houses also of the high places that were in the cities of Samaria, which the kings of Israel had made to provoke Yahweh to anger, Josiah took away, and did to them according to all the acts that he had done in Bethel. 20He killed all the priests of the high places that were there, on the altars, and burned men’s bones on them; and he returned to Jerusalem. 21The king commanded all the people, saying, “Keep the Passover to Yahweh your God, as it is written in this book of the covenant.” 22Surely there was not kept such a Passover from the days of the judges who judged Israel, nor in all the days of the kings of Israel, nor of the kings of Judah; 23but in the eighteenth year of king Josiah was this Passover kept to Yahweh in Jerusalem. 24Moreover Josiah removed those who had familiar spirits, and the wizards, and the teraphim, and the idols, and all the abominations that were seen in the land of Judah and in Jerusalem, that he might confirm the words of the law which were written in the book that Hilkiah the priest found in Yahweh’s house. 25Like him was there no king before him, who turned to Yahweh with all his heart, and with all his soul, and with all his might, according to all the law of Moses; neither after him arose there any like him. 26Notwithstanding, Yahweh didn’t turn from the fierceness of his great wrath, with which his anger was kindled against Judah, because of all the provocation with which Manasseh had provoked him. 27Yahweh said, “I will remove Judah also out of my sight, as I have removed Israel, and I will cast off this city which I have chosen, even Jerusalem, and the house of which I said, ‘My name shall be there.’” 28Now the rest of the acts of Josiah, and all that he did, aren’t they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? 29In his days Pharaoh Necoh king of Egypt went up against the king of Assyria to the river Euphrates: and king Josiah went against him; and Pharaoh Necoh killed him at Megiddo, when he had seen him. 30His servants carried him in a chariot dead from Megiddo, and brought him to Jerusalem, and buried him in his own tomb. The people of the land took Jehoahaz the son of Josiah, and anointed him, and made him king in his father’s place. 31Jehoahaz was twenty-three years old when he began to reign; and he reigned three months in Jerusalem: and his mother’s name was Hamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah. 32He did that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh, according to all that his fathers had done. 33Pharaoh Necoh put him in bonds at Riblah in the land of Hamath, that he might not reign in Jerusalem; and put the land to a tribute of one hundred talents of silver, and a talent of gold. 34Pharaoh Necoh made Eliakim the son of Josiah king in the place of Josiah his father, and changed his name to Jehoiakim: but he took Jehoahaz away; and he came to Egypt, and died there. 35Jehoiakim gave the silver and the gold to Pharaoh; but he taxed the land to give the money according to the commandment of Pharaoh: he exacted the silver and the gold of the people of the land, of everyone according to his taxation, to give it to Pharaoh Necoh. 36Jehoiakim was twenty-five years old when he began to reign; and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem: and his mother’s name was Zebidah the daughter of Pedaiah of Rumah. 37He did that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh, according to all that his fathers had done.
1Toen zond de koning henen, en tot hem verzamelden al de oudsten van Juda en Jeruzalem. 2En de koning ging op in het huis des HEEREN, en met hem alle inwoners van Jeruzalem, en de priesters en de profeten, en al het volk, van den minste tot den meeste; en hij las voor hun oren al de woorden van het boek des verbonds, dat in het huis des HEEREN gevonden was. 3De koning nu stond aan den pilaar, en maakte een verbond voor des HEEREN aangezicht, om den HEERE na te wandelen, en Zijn geboden, en Zijn getuigenissen, en Zijn inzettingen met ganser harte en met ganser ziele te houden, bevestigende de woorden dezes verbonds, die in dit boek geschreven zijn. En het ganse volk stond in dit verbond. 4En de koning gebood den hogepriester Hilkia, en den priesteren der tweede ordening, en den dorpelbewaarders, dat zij uit den tempel des HEEREN alle gereedschap, dat voor Baal, en voor het beeld van het bos, en voor al het heir des hemels gemaakt was, uitbrengen zouden; en hij verbrandde dat buiten Jeruzalem in de velden van Kidron, en liet het stof daarvan naar Beth-El dragen. 5Daartoe schafte hij de Chemarim af, die de koningen van Juda gesteld hadden, opdat men roken zou op de hoogten, in de steden van Juda, en rondom Jeruzalem, mitsgaders, die voor Baal, de zon, en de maan, en de andere planeten, en al het heir des hemels rookten. 6Hij bracht ook het beeld van het bos uit het huis des HEEREN weg, buiten Jeruzalem, tot de beek Kidron, en verbrandde het aan de beek Kidron, en vergruisde het tot stof; en hij wierp het stof daarvan op de graven der kinderen des volks. 7Daartoe brak hij de huizen der schandjongens af, die aan het huis des HEEREN waren, alwaar de vrouwen huisjes voor het beeld van het bos weefden. 8En hij bracht al de priesters uit de steden van Juda, en verontreinigde de hoogten, alwaar die priesters gerookt hadden, van Geba af tot Ber-seba toe; en hij brak de hoogten der poort van Jozua, den overste der stad, was, welke aan iemands linkerhand was, in de stadspoort gaande. 9Doch de priesters der hoogten offerden niet op het altaar des HEEREN te Jeruzalem; maar zij aten ongezuurde broden in het midden van hun broederen. 10Hij verontreinigde ook Thofeth, dat in het dal der kinderen van Hinnom is, opdat niemand zijn zoon of zijn dochter voor den Molech door het vuur deed gaan. 11En hij schafte de paarden af, die de koningen van Juda voor de zon gesteld hadden, van den ingang van het huis des HEEREN, tot de kamer van Nathan-Melech, den hoveling, die in Parvarim was; en de wagenen der zon verbrandde hij met vuur. 12Verder de altaren die op het dak der opperzaal van Achaz waren, die de koningen van Juda gemaakt hadden, mitsgaders de altaren, die Manasse in de twee voorhoven van het huis des HEEREN gemaakt had, brak de koning af; en hij verbrijzelde ze van daar, en wierp het stof daarvan in de beek Kidron. 13De hoogten ook, die vooraan Jeruzalem waren, dewelke waren ter rechterhand van de berg Mashith, die Salomo, de koning van Israel, voor Astoreth, het verfoeisel der Sidoniers, en voor Kamos, het verfoeisel der Moabieten, en voor Milchom, den gruwel der kinderen Ammons, gebouwd had, verontreinigde de koning. 14Insgelijks brak hij de opgerichte beelden, en roeide de bossen uit; en hij vervulde hun plaats met mensenbeenderen. 15Daartoe ook het altaar, dat te Beth-El was, en de hoogte, die Jerobeam, de zoon van Nebat, dewelke Israel zondigen deed, gemaakt had; te zamen dat altaar en die hoogte brak hij af; ja, hij verbrandde de hoogte, hij vergruisde ze tot stof, en hij verbrandde het bos. 16En als Josia zich omkeerde, zag hij de graven, die daar op den berg waren, en zond henen, en nam de beenderen uit de graven, en verbrandde ze op dat altaar, en verontreinigde dat; naar het woord des HEEREN, dat de man Gods uitgeroepen had, die deze woorden uitriep. 17Verder zeide hij: Wat is dat voor een grafteken, dat ik zie? En de lieden der stad zeiden tot hem: Het is het graf van den man Gods, die uit Juda kwam, en deze dingen, die gij tegen dit altaar van Beth-El gedaan hebt, uitgeroepen heeft. 18En hij zeide: Laat hem liggen, dat niemand zijn beenderen verroere. Zo bevrijdden zij zijn beenderen, met de beenderen van den profeet, die uit Samaria gekomen was. 19Daartoe nam Josia ook weg al de huizen der hoogten, die in de steden van Samaria waren, die de koningen van Israel gemaakt hadden, om den HEERE tot toorn te verwekken; en hij deed dezelve naar al de daden, die hij te Beth-El gedaan had. 20En hij slachtte al de priesteren der hoogten, die daar waren, op de altaren, en verbrandde mensenbeenderen op dezelve. Daarna keerde hij weder naar Jeruzalem. 21En de koning gebood het ganse volk, zeggende: Houdt den HEERE, uw God, pascha, gelijk in dit boek des verbonds geschreven is. 22Want gelijk dit pascha was er geen gehouden, van de dagen der richteren af, die Israel gericht hadden, noch in al de dagen der koningen van Israel, noch der koningen van Juda. 23Maar in het achttiende jaar van den koning Josia, werd dit pascha den HEERE te Jeruzalem gehouden. 24En ook deed Josia weg de waarzeggers, en de duivelskunstenaars, en de terafim, en de drekgoden, en alle verfoeiselen, die in het land van Juda en in Jeruzalem gezien werden; opdat hij bevestigde de woorden der wet, die geschreven waren in het boek, dat de priester Hilkia in het huis des HEEREN gevonden had. 25En voor hem was geen koning zijns gelijke, die zich tot den HEERE, met zijn ganse hart, en met zijn ganse ziel, en met zijn ganse kracht, naar al de wet van Mozes, bekeerd had; en na hem stond zijns gelijke niet op. 26Nochtans keerde zich de HEERE van den brand Zijns groten toorns niet af, waarmede Zijn toorn brandde tegen Juda, om al de tergingen, waarmede Manasse Hem getergd had. 27En de HEERE zeide: Ik zal Juda ook van Mijn aangezicht wegdoen, gelijk als Ik Israel weggedaan heb; en Ik zal deze stad Jeruzalem verwerpen, die Ik verkoren heb, en het huis, waarvan Ik gezegd heb: Mijn Naam zal daar wezen. 28Het overige nu der geschiedenissen van Josia, en al wat hij gedaan heeft, zijn die niet geschreven in het boek der kronieken der koningen van Juda? 29In zijn dagen toog Farao Necho, de koning van Egypte, op tegen den koning van Assyrie, naar de rivier Frath; en de koning Josia toog hem tegemoet, en hij doodde hem te Megiddo, als hij hem gezien had. 30En zijn knechten voerden hem dood op een wagen van Megiddo, en brachten hem te Jeruzalem, en begroeven hem in zijn graf; en het volk des lands nam Joahaz, den zoon Josia, en zalfden hem, en maakten hem koning in zijns vaders plaats. 31Drie en twintig jaren was Joahaz oud, toen hij koning werd, en hij regeerde drie maanden te Jeruzalem; en de naam zijner moeder was Hamutal, de dochter van Jeremia, van Libna. 32En hij deed dat kwaad was in de ogen des HEEREN, naar alles, wat zijn vaderen gedaan hadden. 33Doch Farao Necho liet hem binden te Ribla in het land van Hamath, opdat hij te Jeruzalem niet regeren zou; en hij legde het land een boete op van honderd talenten zilvers en een talent gouds. 34Ook maakte Farao Necho Eljakim, den zoon van Josia, koning, in de plaats van zijn vader Josia, en veranderde zijn naam in Jojakim; maar Joahaz nam hij mede, en hij kwam in Egypte, en stierf aldaar. 35En Jojakim gaf dat zilver en dat goud aan Farao; doch hij schatte het land, om dat geld naar het bevel van Farao te geven; een ieder naar zijn schatting eiste hij het zilver en goud af van het volk des lands, om aan Farao Necho te geven. 36Vijf en twintig jaren was Jojakim oud, toen hij koning werd, en regeerde elf jaren te Jeruzalem; en de naam zijner moeder was Zebudda, een dochter van Pedaja, van Ruma. 37En hij deed dat kwaad was in de ogen des HEEREN, naar alles, wat zijn vaders gedaan hadden.
