Zacarias 9

1Revelação da palavra do SENHOR contra terra de Hadraque e de Damasco, seu repouso; porque os olhos da humanidade e de todas as tribos de Israel estão voltados ao SENHOR. 2E também contra Hamate que faz fronteira com ela; Tiro e Sidom, ainda que seja muito sábia. 3Tiro edificou para si fortalezas, e amontoou prata como pó da terra, e ouro como lama das ruas. 4Eis que o Senhor a desapossará, e no mar ferirá sua fortaleza, e ela será consumida pelo fogo. 5Asquelom verá, e temerá; Gaza também, e terá grande dor; assim como Ecrom, pois aquilo em que confiavam se envergonhará; o rei de Gaza perecerá, e Asquelom não será habitada. 6E um povo misturado habitará em Asdode, e eu acabarei com a arrogância dos filisteus; 7E tirarei seu sangue de sua boca, e suas abominações dentre seus dentes; porém os que restarem serão para nosso Deus, e serão como príncipes em Judá; e Ecrom será como o jebuseu. 8E me acamparei ao redor de minha casa contra o exército inimigo ,para que não passe nem volte; para que o opressor não passe mais por eles; porque agora eu vi com meus olhos. 9Alegra-te muito, ó filha de Sião; dá vozes de júbilo, ó filha de Jerusalém; eis que teu rei virá a ti, justo e salvador, humilde, e montado sobre um asno, sobre um jumentinho, filho de jumenta. 10E destruirei as carruagens de Efraim, e os cavalos de Jerusalém; os arcos de guerra também serão quebrados; e ele falará paz às nações; e seu domínio será de mar a mar, e desde o rio até os confins da terra. 11Quanto a ti, pelo sangue de teu pacto, eu libertei teus prisioneiros da cova em que não havia água. 12Voltai-vos à fortaleza, ó prisioneiros que tendes esperança; hoje também vos anuncio que vos recompensarei em dobro. 13Pois encurvarei a Judá para mim como arco, porei a Efraim como flecha; e despertarei teus filhos, ó Sião, contra teus filhos, ó Grécia; e farei de ti, Sião , como espada de guerreiro. 14E o SENHOR será visto acima deles, e sua flecha sairá como relâmpago; o Senhor DEUS tocará trombeta, e irá como os turbilhões do sul. 15O SENHOR dos exércitos os protegerá, e eles consumirão, e sujeitarão com pedras da funda; também beberão e farão gritarias como bêbados de vinho; e se encherão como a bacia de sacrifício, ou como os cantos do altar. 16E o SENHOR, Deus deles, os salvará naquele dia como o rebanho de seu povo; porque serão como pedras de coroa, erguidas na terra dele. 17Pois como será grande sua prosperidade, e tamanha sua beleza! O trigo fortalecerá os rapazes, e o suco de uva as virgens.

1An oracle. Yahweh’s word is against the land of Hadrach, and will rest upon Damascus; for the eye of man and of all the tribes of Israel is toward Yahweh; 2and Hamath, also, which borders on it; Tyre and Sidon, because they are very wise. 3Tyre built herself a stronghold, and heaped up silver like the dust, and fine gold like the mire of the streets. 4Behold, the Lord will dispossess her, and he will strike her power in the sea; and she will be devoured with fire. 5Ashkelon will see it, and fear; Gaza also, and will writhe in agony; as will Ekron, for her expectation will be disappointed; and the king will perish from Gaza, and Ashkelon will not be inhabited. 6Foreigners will dwell in Ashdod, and I will cut off the pride of the Philistines. 7I will take away his blood out of his mouth, and his abominations from between his teeth; and he also will be a remnant for our God; and he will be as a chieftain in Judah, and Ekron as a Jebusite. 8I will encamp around my house against the army, that no one pass through or return; and no oppressor will pass through them any more: for now I have seen with my eyes. 9Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion! Shout, daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King comes to you! He is righteous, and having salvation; lowly, and riding on a donkey, even on a colt, the foal of a donkey. 10I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem; and the battle bow will be cut off; and he will speak peace to the nations: and his dominion will be from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth. 11As for you also, because of the blood of your covenant, I have set free your prisoners from the pit in which is no water. 12Turn to the stronghold, you prisoners of hope! Even today I declare that I will restore double to you. 13For indeed I bend Judah as a bow for me. I have filled the bow with Ephraim; and I will stir up your sons, Zion, against your sons, Greece, and will make you like the sword of a mighty man. 14Yahweh will be seen over them; and his arrow will go flash like lightning; and the Lord Yahweh will blow the trumpet, and will go with whirlwinds of the south. 15Yahweh of Armies will defend them; and they will destroy and overcome with sling stones; and they will drink, and roar as through wine; and they will be filled like bowls, like the corners of the altar. 16Yahweh their God will save them in that day as the flock of his people; for they are like the jewels of a crown, lifted on high over his land. 17For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! Grain will make the young men flourish, and new wine the virgins.

1De last van het woord des HEEREN over het land Chadrach en Damaskus, deszelfs rust; want de HEERE heeft een oog over den mens, gelijk over al de stammen Israels. 2En ook zal Hij Hamath met dezelve bepalen; Tyrus en Sidon, hoewel zij zeer wijs is; 3En Tyrus zich sterkten gebouwd heeft, en zilver verzameld heeft als stof, en fijn goud als slijk der straten; 4Ziet, de HEERE zal haar uit het bezit stoten, en Hij zal haar vesting in de zee verslaan; en zij zal met vuur verteerd worden. 5Askelon zal het zien, en zal vrezen; desgelijks Gaza, en zal grote smart hebben, mitsgaders Ekron, dewijl hetgeen, waar zij op zagen, hen heeft te schande gemaakt; en de koning van Gaza zal vergaan, en Askelon zal niet bewoond worden. 6En de bastaard zal te Asdod wonen, en Ik zal den hoogmoed der Filistijnen uitroeien. 7En Ik zal zijn bloed uit zijn mond wegdoen, en zijn verfoeiselen van tussen zijn tanden; alzo zal hij ook onzen God overblijven; ja, hij zal zijn als een vorst in Juda, en Ekron als de Jebusiet. 8En Ik zal Mij rondom Mijn huis legeren, vanwege het heirleger, vanwege den doorgaande, en vanwege den wederkerende, opdat de drijver niet meer door hen doorga; want nu heb Ik het met Mijn ogen aangezien. 9Verheug u zeer, gij dochter Sions! juich, gij dochter Jeruzalems! Ziet, uw Koning zal u komen, rechtvaardig, en Hij is een Heiland; arm, en rijdende op een ezel, en op een veulen, een jong der ezelinnen. 10En Ik zal de wagens uit Efraim uitroeien, en de paarden uit Jeruzalem; ook zal de strijdboog uitgeroeid worden, en Hij zal den heidenen vrede spreken; en Zijn heerschappij zal zijn van zee tot aan zee, en van de rivier tot aan de einden der aarde. 11U ook aangaande, o Sion! door het bloed uws verbonds, heb Ik uw gebondenen uit den kuil, daar geen water in is, uitgelaten. 12Keert gijlieden weder tot de sterkte, gij gebondenen, die daar hoopt! ook heden verkondig Ik, dat Ik u dubbel zal wedergeven; 13Als Ik Mij Juda zal gespannen, en Ik Efraim den boog zal gevuld hebben; en Ik uw kinderen, o Sion! zal verwekt hebben tegen uw kinderen, o Griekenland! en u gesteld zal hebben als het zwaard van een held. 14En de HEERE zal over henlieden verschijnen, en Zijn pijlen zullen uitvaren als een bliksem; en de Heere HEERE zal met de bazuin blazen, en Hij zal voorttreden met stormen uit het zuiden. 15De HEERE der heirscharen zal hen beschutten, en zij zullen eten, nadat zij de slingerstenen zullen ten ondergebracht hebben; zij zullen ook drinken, en een gedruis maken als de wijn; en zij zullen vervuld worden, gelijk het bekken, gelijk de hoeken des altaars. 16En de HEERE, hun God, zal ze te dien dage behouden, als zijnde de kudde Zijns volks; want gekroonde stenen zullen in Zijn land, als een banier, opgericht worden. 17Want hoe groot zal zijn goed wezen en hoe groot zal zijn schoonheid wezen! Het koren zal de jongelingen, en de most zal de jonkvrouwen sprekende maken.
