1Lorsque le sabbat fut passé, Marie de Magdala, Marie, mère de Jacques, et Salomé, achetèrent des aromates, afin d’aller embaumer Jésus. 2Le premier jour de la semaine, elles se rendirent au sépulcre, de grand matin, comme le soleil venait de se lever. 3Elles disaient entre elles : Qui nous roulera la pierre loin de l’entrée du sépulcre ? 4Et, levant les yeux, elles aperçurent que la pierre, qui était très grande, avait été roulée. 5Elles entrèrent dans le sépulcre, virent un jeune homme assis à droite vêtu d’une robe blanche, et elles furent épouvantées. 6Il leur dit : Ne vous épouvantez pas ; vous cherchez Jésus de Nazareth, qui a été crucifié ; il est ressuscité, il n’est point ici ; voici le lieu où on l’avait mis. 7Mais allez dire à ses disciples et à Pierre qu’il vous précède en Galilée : c’est là que vous le verrez, comme il vous l’a dit. 8Elles sortirent du sépulcre et s’enfuirent. La peur et le trouble les avaient saisies ; et elles ne dirent rien à personne, à cause de leur effroi. 9Jésus, étant ressuscité le matin du premier jour de la semaine, apparut d’abord à Marie de Magdala, de laquelle il avait chassé sept démons. 10Elle alla en porter la nouvelle à ceux qui avaient été avec lui, et qui s’affligeaient et pleuraient. 11Quand ils entendirent qu’il vivait, et qu’elle l’avait vu, ils ne le crurent point. 12Après cela, il apparut, sous une autre forme, à deux d’entre eux qui étaient en chemin pour aller à la campagne. 13Ils revinrent l’annoncer aux autres, qui ne les crurent pas non plus. 14Enfin, il apparut aux onze, pendant qu’ils étaient à table ; et il leur reprocha leur incrédulité et la dureté de leur cœur, parce qu’ils n’avaient pas cru ceux qui l’avaient vu ressuscité. 15Puis il leur dit : Allez par tout le monde, et prêchez la bonne nouvelle à toute la création. 16Celui qui croira et qui sera baptisé sera sauvé, mais celui qui ne croira pas sera condamné. 17Voici les miracles qui accompagneront ceux qui auront cru : en mon nom, ils chasseront les démons ; ils parleront de nouvelles langues ; 18ils saisiront des serpents ; s’ils boivent quelque breuvage mortel, il ne leur fera point de mal ; ils imposeront les mains aux malades, et les malades, seront guéris. 19Le Seigneur, après leur avoir parlé, fut enlevé au ciel, et il s’assit à la droite de Dieu. 20Et ils s’en allèrent prêcher partout. Le Seigneur travaillait avec eux, et confirmait la parole par les miracles qui l’accompagnaient .
1When the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, that they might come and anoint him. 2Very early on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen. 3They were saying among themselves, “Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?” 4for it was very big. Looking up, they saw that the stone was rolled back. 5Entering into the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, dressed in a white robe, and they were amazed. 6He said to them, “Don’t be amazed. You seek Jesus, the Nazarene, who has been crucified. He has risen. He is not here. Behold, the place where they laid him! 7But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He goes before you into Galilee. There you will see him, as he said to you.’” 8They went out, and fled from the tomb, for trembling and astonishment had come on them. They said nothing to anyone; for they were afraid. 9Now when he had risen early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons. 10She went and told those who had been with him, as they mourned and wept. 11When they heard that he was alive, and had been seen by her, they disbelieved. 12After these things he was revealed in another form to two of them, as they walked, on their way into the country. 13They went away and told it to the rest. They didn’t believe them, either. 14Afterward he was revealed to the eleven themselves as they sat at the table, and he rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they didn’t believe those who had seen him after he had risen. 15He said to them, “Go into all the world, and preach the Good News to the whole creation. 16He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who disbelieves will be condemned. 17These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new languages; 18they will take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it will in no way hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” 19So then the Lord, after he had spoken to them, was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. 20They went out, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word by the signs that followed. Amen.
1En als de sabbat voorbijgegaan was, hadden Maria Magdalena, en Maria, de moeder van Jakobus, en Salome specerijen gekocht, opdat zij kwamen en Hem zalfden. 2En zeer vroeg op den eersten dag der week, kwamen zij tot het graf, als de zon opging; 3En zeiden tot elkander: Wie zal ons den steen van de deur des grafs afwentelen? 4(En opziende zagen zij, dat de steen afgewenteld was) want hij was zeer groot. 5En in het graf ingegaan zijnde, zagen zij een jongeling, zittende ter rechter zijde, bekleed met een wit lang kleed, en werden verbaasd. 6Maar hij zeide tot haar: Zijt niet verbaasd; gij zoekt Jezus den Nazarener, Die gekruist was; Hij is opgestaan; Hij is hier niet; ziet de plaats, waar zij Hem gelegd hadden. 7Doch gaat heen, zegt Zijnen discipelen, en Petrus, dat Hij u voorgaat naar Galilea; aldaar zult gij Hem zien, gelijk Hij ulieden gezegd heeft. 8En zij, haastelijk uitgegaan zijnde, vloden van het graf, en beving en ontzetting had haar bevangen; en zij zeiden niemand iets; want zij waren bevreesd. 9En als Jezus opgestaan was, des morgens vroeg, op den eersten dag der week, verscheen Hij eerst aan Maria Magdalena, uit welke Hij zeven duivelen uitgeworpen had. 10Deze, heengaande, boodschapte het dengenen, die met Hem geweest waren, welke treurden en weenden. 11En als dezen hoorden, dat Hij leefde, en van haar gezien was, geloofden zij het niet. 12En na dezen is Hij geopenbaard in een andere gedaante, aan twee van hen, daar zij wandelden, en in het veld gingen. 13Dezen, ook heengaande, boodschapten het aan de anderen; maar zij geloofden ook die niet. 14Daarna is Hij geopenbaard aan de elven, daar zij aanzaten, en verweet hun hun ongelovigheid en hardigheid des harten, omdat zij niet geloofd hadden degenen, die Hem gezien hadden, nadat Hij opgestaan was. 15En Hij zeide tot hen: Gaat heen in de gehele wereld, predikt het Evangelie aan alle kreaturen. 16Die geloofd zal hebben, en gedoopt zal zijn, zal zalig worden; maar die niet zal geloofd hebben, zal verdoemd worden. 17En degenen, die geloofd zullen hebben, zullen deze tekenen volgen: in Mijn Naam zullen zij duivelen uitwerpen; met nieuwe tongen zullen zij spreken, 18Slangen zullen zij opnemen; en al is het, dat zij iets dodelijks zullen drinken, dat zal hun niet schaden; op kranken zullen zij de handen leggen, en zij zullen gezond worden. 19De Heere dan, nadat Hij tot hen gesproken had, is opgenomen in den hemel, en is gezeten aan de rechter hand Gods. 20En zij, uitgegaan zijnde, predikten overal, en de Heere wrocht mede, en bevestigde het Woord door tekenen, die daarop volgden.
