1Y FUÉ á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo: 2Hijo del hombre, pon tu rostro contra Gog en tierra de Magog, príncipe de la cabecera de Mesech y Tubal, y profetiza sobre él, 3Y di: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He aquí, yo á ti, oh Gog, príncipe de la cabecera de Mesech y Tubal. 4Y yo te quebrantaré, y pondré anzuelos en tus quijadas, y te sacaré á ti, y á todo tu ejército, caballos y caballeros, vestidos de todo todos ellos, grande multitud con paveses y escudos, teniendo todos ellos espadas: 5Persia, y Etiopía, y Libia con ellos; todos ellos con escudos y almetes: 6Gomer, y todas sus compañías; la casa de Togarma, á los lados del norte, y todas sus compañías; pueblos muchos contigo. 7Aparéjate, y apercíbete, tú, y toda tu multitud que se ha reunido á ti, y séles por guarda. 8De aquí á muchos días serás tú visitado: al cabo de años vendrás á la tierra salvada de la espada, recogida de muchos pueblos, á los montes de Israel, que siempre fueron para asolamiento: mas fué sacada de las naciones, y todos ellos morarán confiadamente. 9Y subirás tú, vendrás como tempestad; como nublado para cubrir la tierra serás tú, y todas tus compañías, y muchos pueblos contigo. 10Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Y será en aquel día, que subirán palabras en tu corazón, y concebirás mal pensamiento; 11Y dirás: Subiré contra tierra de aldeas, iré á gentes reposadas, y que habitan confiadamente: todos ellos habitan sin muros, no tienen cerrojos ni puertas: 12Para arrebatar despojos y para tomar presa; para tornar tu mano sobre las tierras desiertas ya pobladas, y sobre el pueblo recogido de las gentes, que se hace de ganados y posesiones, que mora en el ombligo de la tierra. 13Seba, y Dedán, y los mercaderes de Tarsis, y todos sus leoncillos, te dirán: ¿Has venido á arrebatar despojos? ¿has reunido tu multitud para tomar presa, para quitar plata y oro, para tomar ganados y posesiones, para tomar grandes despojos? 14Por tanto profetiza, hijo del hombre, y di á Gog: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: En aquel tiempo, cuando mi pueblo Israel habitará seguramente, ¿no lo sabrás tú? 15Y vendrás de tu lugar, de las partes del norte, tú y muchos pueblos contigo, todos ellos á caballo, grande reunión y poderoso ejército: 16Y subirás contra mi pueblo Israel como nublado para cubrir la tierra; será al cabo de los días: y te traeré sobre mi tierra, para que las gentes me conozcan, cuando fuere santificado en ti, oh Gog, delante de sus ojos. 17Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: ¿No eres tú aquél de quien hablé yo en tiempos pasados por mis siervos los profetas de Israel, los cuales profetizaron en aquellos tiempos que yo te había de traer sobre ellos? 18Y será en aquel tiempo, cuando vendrá Gog contra la tierra de Israel, dijo el Señor Jehová, que subirá mi ira en mi enojo. 19Porque he hablado en mi celo, y en el fuego de mi ira: Que en aquel tiempo habrá gran temblor sobre la tierra de Israel; 20Que los peces de la mar, y las aves del cielo, y las bestias del campo, y toda serpiente que anda arrastrando sobre la tierra, y todos los hombres que están sobre la haz de la tierra, temblarán á mi presencia; y se arruinarán los montes, y los vallados caerán, y todo muro caerá á tierra. 21Y en todos mis montes llamaré contra él espada, dice el Señor Jehová: la espada de cada cual será contra su hermano. 22Y yo litigaré con él con pestilencia y con sangre; y haré llover sobre él, y sobre sus compañías, y sobre los muchos pueblos que están con él, impetuosa lluvia, y piedras de granizo, fuego y azufre. 23Y seré engrandecido y santificado, y seré conocido en ojos de muchas gentes; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.
1Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 2Son of man, set your face toward Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him, 3and say, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I am against you, Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal: 4and I will turn you around, and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you out, with all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed in full armor, a great company with buckler and shield, all of them handling swords; 5Persia, Cush, and Put with them, all of them with shield and helmet; 6Gomer, and all his hordes; the house of Togarmah in the uttermost parts of the north, and all his hordes; even many peoples with you. 7Be prepared, yes, prepare yourself, you, and all your companies who are assembled to you, and be a guard to them. 8After many days you shall be visited: in the latter years you shall come into the land that is brought back from the sword, that is gathered out of many peoples, on the mountains of Israel, which have been a continual waste; but it is brought out of the peoples, and they shall dwell securely, all of them. 9You shall ascend, you shall come like a storm, you shall be like a cloud to cover the land, you, and all your hordes, and many peoples with you. 10Thus says the Lord Yahweh: It shall happen in that day, that things shall come into your mind, and you shall devise an evil device: 11and you shall say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to those who are at rest, who dwell securely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates; 12to take the plunder and to take the prey; to turn your hand against the waste places that are inhabited, and against the people who are gathered out of the nations, who have gotten livestock and goods, who dwell in the middle of the earth. 13Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions of it, shall tell you, Have you come to take the plunder? have you assembled your company to take the prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to take great plunder? 14Therefore, son of man, prophesy, and tell Gog, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: In that day when my people Israel dwells securely, shall you not know it? 15You shall come from your place out of the uttermost parts of the north, you, and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great company and a mighty army; 16and you shall come up against my people Israel, as a cloud to cover the land: it shall happen in the latter days, that I will bring you against my land, that the nations may know me, when I shall be sanctified in you, Gog, before their eyes. 17Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Are you he of whom I spoke in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, who prophesied in those days for years that I would bring you against them? 18It shall happen in that day, when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, says the Lord Yahweh, that my wrath shall come up into my nostrils. 19For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel; 20so that the fish of the sea, and the birds of the sky, and the animals of the field, and all creeping things who creep on the earth, and all the men who are on the surface of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground. 21I will call for a sword against him to all my mountains, says the Lord Yahweh: every man’s sword shall be against his brother. 22With pestilence and with blood will I enter into judgment with him; and I will rain on him, and on his hordes, and on the many peoples who are with him, an overflowing shower, and great hailstones, fire, and sulfur. 23I will magnify myself, and sanctify myself, and I will make myself known in the eyes of many nations; and they shall know that I am Yahweh.
1Wijders geschiedde des HEEREN woord tot mij, zeggende: 2Mensenkind! zet uw aangezicht tegen Gog, het land van Magog, den hoofdvorst van Mesech en Tubal; en profeteer tegen hem, 3En zeg: Zo zegt de Heere HEERE: Zie, Ik wil aan u, o Gog, gij hoofdvorst van Mesech en Tubal! 4En Ik zal u omwenden, en haken in uw kaken leggen, en Ik zal u uitvoeren, mitsgaders uw ganse heir, paarden en ruiteren, die altemaal volkomen wel gekleed zijn, een grote vergadering, met rondas en schild, die altemaal zwaarden handelen; 5Perzen, Moren en Puteers met hen, die altemaal schild en helm voeren; 6Gomer en al zijn benden, en het huis van Togarma, aan de zijden van het noorden, en al zijn benden; vele volken met u. 7Zijt bereid en maakt u gereed, gij en uw ganse vergadering, die tot u vergaderd zijn; en wees gij hun tot een wacht. 8Na vele dagen zult gij bezocht worden; in het laatste der jaren zult gij komen in het land, dat wedergebracht is van het zwaard, dat vergaderd is uit vele volken, op de bergen Israels, die steeds tot verwoesting geweest zijn; als hetzelve land uit de volken zal uitgevoerd zijn, en zij allemaal zeker zullen wonen. 9Dan zult gij optrekken, gij zult aankomen als een onstuimige verwoesting, gij zult zijn als een wolk, om het land te bedekken; gij en al uw benden, en vele volken met u. 10Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Te dien dage zal het ook geschieden, dat er raadslagen in uw hart zullen opkomen, en gij zult een kwade gedachte denken, 11En zult zeggen: Ik zal optrekken naar dat dorpland, ik zal komen tot degenen, die in rust zijn, die zeker wonen, die altemaal wonen zonder muur, en grendel noch deuren hebben. 12Om buit te buiten, en om roof te roven; om uw hand te wenden tegen de woeste plaatsen, die nu bewoond zijn, en tegen een volk, dat uit de heidenen verzameld is, dat vee en have verkregen heeft, wonende in het midden des lands. 13Scheba, en Dedan, en de kooplieden van Tarsis, en alle hun jonge leeuwen zullen tot u zeggen: Komt gij, om buit te buiten? hebt gij uw vergadering vergaderd, om roof te roven? om zilver en goud weg te voeren, om vee en have weg te nemen, om een groten buit te buiten? 14Daarom profeteer, o mensenkind! en zeg tot Gog: Zo zegt de Heere HEERE: Zult gij het, te dien dage, als Mijn volk Israel zeker woont, niet gewaar worden? 15Gij zult dan komen uit uw plaats, uit de zijden van het noorden, gij en vele volken met u; die altemaal op paarden zullen rijden, een grote vergadering, en een machtig heir; 16En gij zult optrekken tegen Mijn volk Israel, als een wolk, om het land te bedekken; in het laatste der dagen zal het geschieden; dan zal Ik u aanbrengen tegen Mijn land, opdat de heidenen Mij kennen, als Ik aan u, o Gog! voor hun ogen zal geheiligd worden. 17Zo zegt de Heere HEERE: Zijt gij die, van welken Ik in verleden dagen gesproken heb, door den dienst Mijner knechten, de profeten Israels, die in die dagen geprofeteerd hebben, jaren lang, dat Ik u tegen hen zou aanbrengen? 18Maar het zal geschieden te dien dage, ten dage als Gog tegen het land Israels zal aankomen, spreekt de Heere HEERE, dat Mijn grimmigheid in Mijn neus zal opkomen. 19Want Ik heb gesproken in Mijn ijver, in het vuur Mijner verbolgenheid: Zo er niet, te dien dage, een groot beven zal zijn in het land Israels! 20Zodat van Mijn aangezicht beven zullen de vissen der zee, en het gevogelte des hemels, en het gedierte des velds, en al het kruipend gedierte, dat op het aardrijk kruipt, en alle mensen, die op den aardbodem zijn; en de bergen zullen nedergeworpen worden, en de steile plaatsen zullen nedervallen, en alle muren zullen ter aarde nedervallen. 21Want Ik zal het zwaard over hem roepen op al Mijn bergen, spreekt de Heere HEERE; het zwaard van een ieder zal tegen zijn broeder zijn. 22En Ik zal met hem rechten, door pestilentie en door bloed; en Ik zal een overstelpenden plasregen, en grote hagelstenen, vuur en zwavel regenen op hem, en op zijn benden, en op de vele volken, die met hem zullen zijn. 23Alzo zal Ik Mij groot maken, en Mij heiligen, en bekend worden voor de ogen van vele heidenen; en zij zullen weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben.
