1DE manera que yo, hermanos, no pude hablaros como á espirituales, sino como á carnales, como á niños en Cristo. 2Os dí á beber leche, y no vianda: porque aun no podíais, ni aun podéis ahora; 3Porque todavía sois carnales: pues habiendo entre vosotros celos, y contiendas, y disensiones, ¿no sois carnales, y andáis como hombres? 4Porque diciendo el uno: Yo cierto soy de Pablo; y el otro: Yo de Apolos; ¿no sois carnales? 5¿Qué pues es Pablo? ¿y qué es Apolos? Ministros por los cuales habéis creído; y eso según que á cada uno ha concedido el Señor. 6Yo planté, Apolos regó: mas Dios ha dado el crecimiento. 7Así que, ni el que planta es algo, ni el que riega; sino Dios, que da el crecimiento. 8Y el que planta y el que riega son una misma cosa; aunque cada uno recibirá su recompensa conforme á su labor. 9Porque nosotros, coadjutores somos de Dios; y vosotros labranza de Dios sois, edificio de Dios sois. 10Conforme á la gracia de Dios que me ha sido dada, yo como perito arquitecto puse el fundamento, y otro edifica encima: empero cada uno vea cómo sobreedifica. 11Porque nadie puede poner otro fundamento que el que está puesto, el cual es Jesucristo. 12Y si alguno edificare sobre este fundamento oro, plata, piedras preciosas, madera, heno, hojarasca; 13La obra de cada uno será manifestada: porque el día la declarará; porque por el fuego será manifestada; y la obra de cada uno cuál sea, el fuego hará la prueba. 14Si permaneciere la obra de alguno que sobreedificó, recibirá recompensa. 15Si la obra de alguno fuere quemada, será perdida: él empero será salvo, mas así como por fuego. 16¿No sabéis que sois templo de Dios, y que el Espíritu de Dios mora en vosotros? 17Si alguno violare el templo de Dios, Dios destruirá al tal: porque el templo de Dios, el cual sois vosotros, santo es. 18Nadie se engañe á sí mismo: si alguno entre vosotros parece ser sabio en este siglo, hágase simple, para ser sabio. 19Porque la sabiduría de este mundo es necedad para con Dios; pues escrito está: El que prende á los sabios en la astucia de ellos. 20Y otra vez: El Señor conoce los pensamientos de los sabios, que son vanos. 21Así que, ninguno se gloríe en los hombres; porque todo es vuestro; 22Sea Pablo, sea Apolos, sea Cefas, sea el mundo, sea la vida, sea la muerte, sea lo presente, sea los por venir; todo es vuestro; 23Y vosotros de Cristo; y Cristo de Dios.
1Brothers, I couldn’t speak to you as to spiritual, but as to fleshly, as to babies in Christ. 2I fed you with milk, not with meat; for you weren’t yet ready. Indeed, not even now are you ready, 3for you are still fleshly. For insofar as there is jealousy, strife, and factions among you, aren’t you fleshly, and don’t you walk in the ways of men? 4For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” aren’t you fleshly? 5Who then is Apollos, and who is Paul, but servants through whom you believed; and each as the Lord gave to him? 6I planted. Apollos watered. But God gave the increase. 7So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. 8Now he who plants and he who waters are the same, but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor. 9For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s farming, God’s building. 10According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another builds on it. But let each man be careful how he builds on it. 11For no one can lay any other foundation than that which has been laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12But if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or stubble; 13each man’s work will be revealed. For the Day will declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself will test what sort of work each man’s work is. 14If any man’s work remains which he built on it, he will receive a reward. 15If any man’s work is burned, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, but as through fire. 16Don’t you know that you are a temple of God, and that God’s Spirit lives in you? 17If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, which you are. 18Let no one deceive himself. If anyone thinks that he is wise among you in this world, let him become a fool, that he may become wise. 19For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He has taken the wise in their craftiness.” 20And again, “The Lord knows the reasoning of the wise, that it is worthless.” 21Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours, 22whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come. All are yours, 23and you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s.
1En ik, broeders, kon tot u niet spreken als tot geestelijken, maar als tot vleselijken, als tot jonge kinderen in Christus. 2Ik heb u met melk gevoed, en niet met vaste spijs; want gij vermocht toen nog niet; ja, gij vermoogt ook nu nog niet. 3Want gij zijt nog vleselijk; want dewijl onder u nijd is, en twist, en tweedracht, zijt gij niet vleselijk, en wandelt gij niet naar den mens? 4Want als de een zegt: Ik ben van Paulus; en een ander: Ik ben van Apollos; zijt gij niet vleselijk? 5Wie is dan Paulus, en wie is Apollos, anders dan dienaars, door welken gij geloofd hebt, en dat, gelijk de Heere aan een iegelijk gegeven heeft? 6Ik heb geplant, Apollos heeft nat gemaakt; maar God heeft den wasdom gegeven. 7Zo is dan noch hij, die plant, iets, noch hij, die nat maakt, maar God, Die den wasdom geeft. 8En die plant, en die nat maakt, zijn een; maar een iegelijk zal zijn loon ontvangen naar zijn arbeid. 9Want wij zijn Gods medearbeiders; Gods akkerwerk, Gods gebouw zijt gij. 10Naar de genade Gods, die mij gegeven is, heb ik als een wijs bouwmeester het fondament gelegd; en een ander bouwt daarop. Maar een iegelijk zie toe, hoe hij daarop bouwe. 11Want niemand kan een ander fondament leggen, dan hetgeen gelegd is, hetwelk is Jezus Christus. 12En indien iemand op dit fondament bouwt: goud, zilver, kostelijke stenen, hout, hooi, stoppelen; 13Eens iegelijks werk zal openbaar worden; want de dag zal het verklaren, dewijl het door vuur ontdekt wordt; en hoedanig eens iegelijks werk is, zal het vuur beproeven. 14Zo iemands werk blijft, dat hij daarop gebouwd heeft, die zal loon ontvangen. 15Zo iemands werk zal verbrand worden, die zal schade lijden; maar zelf zal hij behouden worden, doch alzo als door vuur. 16Weet gij niet, dat gij Gods tempel zijt, en de Geest Gods in ulieden woont? 17Zo iemand den tempel Gods schendt, dien zal God schenden; want de tempel Gods is heilig, welke gij zijt. 18Niemand bedriege zichzelven. Zo iemand onder u dunkt, dat hij wijs is in deze wereld, die worde dwaas, opdat hij wijs moge worden. 19Want de wijsheid dezer wereld is dwaasheid bij God; want er is geschreven: Hij vat de wijzen in hun arglistigheid; 20En wederom: De Heere kent de overleggingen der wijzen, dat zij ijdel zijn. 21Niemand dan roeme op mensen; want alles is uwe. 22Hetzij Paulus, hetzij Apollos, hetzij Cefas, hetzij de wereld, hetzij leven, hetzij dood, hetzij tegenwoordige, hetzij toekomende dingen, zij zijn alle uwe. 23Doch gij zijt van Christus, en Christus is Gods.
