1Και εμβάς εις το πλοίον, διεπέρασε και ήλθεν εις την εαυτού πόλιν. 2Και ιδού, έφερον προς αυτόν παραλυτικόν κείμενον επί κλίνης· και ιδών ο Ιησούς την πίστιν αυτών, είπε προς τον παραλυτικόν· Θάρρει, τέκνον· συγκεχωρημέναι είναι εις σε αι αμαρτίαι σου. 3Και ιδού, τινές εκ των γραμματέων είπον καθ' εαυτούς· Ούτος βλασφημεί. 4Και ιδών ο Ιησούς τους διαλογισμούς αυτών, είπε· Διά τι σεις διαλογίζεσθε πονηρά εν ταις καρδίαις σας; 5Διότι τι είναι ευκολώτερον, να είπω, Συγκεχωρημέναι είναι αι αμαρτίαι σου, ή να είπω, Εγέρθητι και περιπάτει; 6Αλλά διά να γνωρίσητε ότι εξουσίαν έχει ο Υιός του ανθρώπου επί της γης να συγχωρή αμαρτίας, τότε λέγει προς τον παραλυτικόν· Εγερθείς σήκωσον την κλίνην σου και ύπαγε εις τον οίκόν σου. 7Και εγερθείς ανεχώρησεν εις τον οίκον αυτού. 8Ιδόντες δε οι όχλοι, εθαύμασαν και εδόξασαν τον Θεόν, όστις έδωκε τοιαύτην εξουσίαν εις τους ανθρώπους. 9Και διαβαίνων ο Ιησούς εκείθεν είδεν άνθρωπον καθήμενον εις το τελώνιον, Ματθαίον λεγόμενον, και λέγει προς αυτόν· Ακολούθει μοι. Και σηκωθείς ηκολούθησεν αυτόν. 10Και ενώ εκάθητο εις την τράπεζαν εν τη οικία, ιδού, πολλοί τελώναι και αμαρτωλοί ελθόντες συνεκάθηντο μετά του Ιησού και των μαθητών αυτού. 11Και ιδόντες οι Φαρισαίοι είπον προς τους μαθητάς αυτού· Διά τι ο Διδάσκαλός σας τρώγει μετά των τελωνών και αμαρτωλών; 12Ο δε Ιησούς ακούσας είπε προς αυτούς· Δεν έχουσι χρείαν ιατρού οι υγιαίνοντες, αλλ' οι πάσχοντες. 13Υπάγετε δε και μάθετε τι είναι, Έλεον θέλω και ουχί θυσίαν. Διότι δεν ήλθον διά να καλέσω δικαίους αλλά αμαρτωλούς εις μετάνοιαν. 14Τότε έρχονται προς αυτόν οι μαθηταί του Ιωάννου, λέγοντες· Διά τι ημείς και οι Φαρισαίοι νηστεύομεν πολλά, οι δε μαθηταί σου δεν νηστεύουσι; 15Και είπε προς αυτούς ο Ιησούς· Μήπως δύνανται οι υιοί του νυμφώνος να πενθώσιν, ενόσω είναι μετ' αυτών ο νυμφίος; θέλουσιν όμως ελθεί ημέραι, όταν αφαιρεθή απ' αυτών ο νυμφίος, και τότε θέλουσι νηστεύσει. 16Και ουδείς βάλλει επίρραμμα αγνάφου πανίου επί ιμάτιον παλαιόν· διότι αφαιρεί το αναπλήρωμα αυτού από του ιματίου, και γίνεται σχίσμα χειρότερον. 17Ουδέ βάλλουσιν οίνον νέον εις ασκούς παλαιούς· ει δε μη, σχίζονται οι ασκοί, και ο οίνος εκχέεται και οι ασκοί φθείρονται· αλλά βάλλουσιν οίνον νέον εις ασκούς νέους, και αμφότερα διατηρούνται. 18Ενώ αυτός ελάλει ταύτα προς αυτούς, ιδού, άρχων τις ελθών προσεκύνει αυτόν, λέγων ότι η θυγάτηρ μου ετελεύτησε προ ολίγου· αλλά ελθέ και βάλε την χείρα σου επ' αυτήν και θέλει ζήσει. 19Και σηκωθείς ο Ιησούς ηκολούθησεν αυτόν και οι μαθηταί αυτού. 20Και ιδού, γυνή αιμορροούσα δώδεκα έτη, πλησιάσασα όπισθεν ήγγισε το άκρον του ιματίου αυτού· 21διότι έλεγε καθ' εαυτήν, Εάν μόνον εγγίσω το ιμάτιον αυτού, θέλω σωθή. 22Ο δε Ιησούς επιστραφείς και ιδών αυτήν είπε· Θάρρει, θύγατερ· η πίστις σου σε έσωσε. Και εσώθη η γυνή από της ώρας εκείνης. 23Και ελθών ο Ιησούς εις την οικίαν του άρχοντος και ιδών τους αυλητάς και τον όχλον θορυβούμενον, 24λέγει προς αυτούς· Αναχωρείτε· διότι δεν απέθανε το κοράσιον, αλλά κοιμάται. Και κατεγέλων αυτόν. 25Ότε δε εξεβλήθη ο όχλος, εισελθών επίασε την χείρα αυτής, και εσηκώθη το κοράσιον. 26Και διεδόθη η φήμη αύτη εις όλην την γην εκείνην. 27Και ενώ ανεχώρει εκείθεν ο Ιησούς, ηκολούθησαν αυτόν δύο τυφλοί, κράζοντες και λέγοντες· Ελέησον ημάς, υιέ του Δαβίδ. 28Και ότε εισήλθεν εις την οικίαν, επλησίασαν εις αυτόν οι τυφλοί, και λέγει προς αυτούς ο Ιησούς· Πιστεύετε ότι δύναμαι να κάμω τούτο; Λέγουσι προς αυτόν· Ναι, Κύριε. 29Τότε ήγγισε τους οφθαλμούς αυτών, λέγων· Κατά την πίστιν σας ας γείνη εις εσάς. 30Και ηνοίχθησαν αυτών οι οφθαλμοί· προσέταξε δε αυτούς εντόνως ο Ιησούς, λέγων· Προσέχετε, ας μη εξεύρη τούτο μηδείς. 31Αλλ' εκείνοι εξελθόντες διεφήμισαν αυτόν εν όλη τη γη εκείνη. 32Ενώ δε αυτοί εξήρχοντο, ιδού, έφεραν προς αυτόν άνθρωπον κωφόν δαιμονιζόμενον· 33και αφού εξεβλήθη το δαιμόνιον, ελάλησεν ο κωφός, και εθαύμασαν οι όχλοι, λέγοντες ότι ποτέ δεν εφάνη τοιούτον εν τω Ισραήλ. 34Οι δε Φαρισαίοι έλεγον· Διά του άρχοντος των δαιμονίων εκβάλλει τα δαιμόνια. 35Και περιήρχετο ο Ιησούς τας πόλεις πάσας και τας κώμας, διδάσκων εν ταις συναγωγαίς αυτών και κηρύττων το ευαγγέλιον της βασιλείας και θεραπεύων πάσαν νόσον και πάσαν ασθένειαν εν τω λαώ. 36Ιδών δε τους όχλους, εσπλαγχνίσθη δι' αυτούς, διότι ήσαν εκλελυμένοι και εσκορπισμένοι ως πρόβατα μη έχοντα ποιμένα. 37Τότε λέγει προς τους μαθητάς αυτού· Ο μεν θερισμός πολύς, οι δε εργάται ολίγοι· 38παρακαλέσατε λοιπόν τον κύριον του θερισμού, διά να αποστείλη εργάτας εις τον θερισμόν αυτού.
1He entered into a boat, and crossed over, and came into his own city. 2Behold, they brought to him a man who was paralyzed, lying on a bed. Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, “Son, cheer up! Your sins are forgiven you.” 3Behold, some of the scribes said to themselves, “This man blasphemes.” 4Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, “Why do you think evil in your hearts? 5For which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven;’ or to say, ‘Get up, and walk?’ 6But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins...” (then he said to the paralytic), “Get up, and take up your mat, and go up to your house.” 7He arose and departed to his house. 8But when the multitudes saw it, they marveled and glorified God, who had given such authority to men. 9As Jesus passed by from there, he saw a man called Matthew sitting at the tax collection office. He said to him, “Follow me.” He got up and followed him. 10As he sat in the house, behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Jesus and his disciples. 11When the Pharisees saw it, they said to his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?” 12When Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick do. 13But you go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice,’for I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” 14Then John’s disciples came to him, saying, “Why do we and the Pharisees fast often, but your disciples don’t fast?” 15Jesus said to them, “Can the friends of the bridegroom mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast. 16No one puts a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; for the patch would tear away from the garment, and a worse hole is made. 17Neither do people put new wine into old wine skins, or else the skins would burst, and the wine be spilled, and the skins ruined. No, they put new wine into fresh wine skins, and both are preserved.” 18While he told these things to them, behold, a ruler came and worshiped him, saying, “My daughter has just died, but come and lay your hand on her, and she will live.” 19Jesus got up and followed him, as did his disciples. 20Behold, a woman who had an issue of blood for twelve years came behind him, and touched the fringe of his garment; 21for she said within herself, “If I just touch his garment, I will be made well.” 22But Jesus, turning around and seeing her, said, “Daughter, cheer up! Your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hour. 23When Jesus came into the ruler’s house, and saw the flute players, and the crowd in noisy disorder, 24he said to them, “Make room, because the girl isn’t dead, but sleeping.” They were ridiculing him. 25But when the crowd was put out, he entered in, took her by the hand, and the girl arose. 26The report of this went out into all that land. 27As Jesus passed by from there, two blind men followed him, calling out and saying, “Have mercy on us, son of David!” 28When he had come into the house, the blind men came to him. Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They told him, “Yes, Lord.” 29Then he touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith be it done to you.” 30Their eyes were opened. Jesus strictly commanded them, saying, “See that no one knows about this.” 31But they went out and spread abroad his fame in all that land. 32As they went out, behold, a mute man who was demon possessed was brought to him. 33When the demon was cast out, the mute man spoke. The multitudes marveled, saying, “Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel!” 34But the Pharisees said, “By the prince of the demons, he casts out demons.” 35Jesus went about all the cities and the villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the Good News of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people. 36But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion for them, because they were harassed and scattered, like sheep without a shepherd. 37Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest indeed is plentiful, but the laborers are few. 38Pray therefore that the Lord of the harvest will send out laborers into his harvest.”

En hij opstaande, volgde Hem. 10En het geschiedde, als Hij in het huis van Mattheus aanzat, ziet, vele tollenaars en zondaars kwamen en zaten mede aan, met Jezus en Zijn discipelen. 11En de Farizeen, dat ziende, zeiden tot Zijn discipelen: Waarom eet uw Meester met de tollenaren en de zondaren? 12Maar Jezus, zulks horende, zeide tot hen: Die gezond zijn hebben den medicijnmeester niet van node, maar die ziek zijn. 13Doch gaat heen en leert, wat het zij: Ik wil barmhartigheid, en niet offerande; want Ik ben niet gekomen om te roepen rechtvaardigen, maar zondaars tot bekering. 14Toen kwamen de discipelen van Johannes tot Hem, zeggende: Waarom vasten wij en de Farizeen veel, en Uw discipelen vasten niet? 15En Jezus zeide tot hen: Kunnen ook de bruiloftskinderen treuren, zolang de Bruidegom bij hen is? Maar de dagen zullen komen, wanneer de Bruidegom van hen zal weggenomen zijn, en dan zullen zij vasten. 16Ook zet niemand een lap ongevold laken op een oud kleed; want deszelfs aangezette lap scheurt af van het kleed, en er wordt een ergere scheur. 17Noch doet men nieuwen wijn in oude leder zakken; anders zo bersten de leder zakken, en de wijn wordt uitgestort, en de leder zakken verderven, maar men doet nieuwen wijn in nieuwe leder zakken, en beide te zamen worden behouden. 18Als Hij deze dingen tot hen sprak, ziet, een overste kwam en aanbad Hem, zeggende: Mijn dochter is nu terstond gestorven, doch kom en leg Uw hand op haar, en zij zal leven. 19En Jezus opgestaan zijnde, volgde hem, en Zijn discipelen. 20(En ziet, een vrouw die twaalf jaren het bloedvloeien gehad had, komende tot Hem van achteren, raakte den zoom Zijns kleeds aan; 21Want zij zeide in zichzelven: Indien ik alleenlijk Zijn kleed aanraak, zo zal ik gezond worden. 22En Jezus, Zich omkerende, en haar ziende, zeide: Wees welgemoed, dochter! uw geloof heeft u behouden. En de vrouw werd gezond van dezelve ure af.) 23En als Jezus in het huis des oversten kwam, en zag de pijpers en de woelende schare, 24Zeide Hij tot hen: Vertrekt; want het dochtertje is niet dood, maar slaapt. En zij belachten Hem. 25Als nu de schare uitgedreven was, ging Hij in, en greep haar hand; en het dochtertje stond op. 26En dit gerucht ging uit door dat gehele land. 27En als Jezus van daar voortging, zijn Hem twee blinden gevolgd, roepende en zeggende: Gij Zone Davids, ontferm U onzer! 28En als Hij in huis gekomen was, kwamen de blinden tot Hem. En Jezus zeide tot hen: Gelooft gij, dat Ik dat doen kan? Zij zeiden tot Hem: Ja, Heere! 29Toen raakte Hij hun ogen aan, zeggende: U geschiede naar uw geloof. 30En hun ogen zijn geopend geworden. En Jezus heeft hun zeer gestrengelijk verboden, zeggende: Ziet, dat het niemand wete. 31Maar zij, uitgegaan zijnde, hebben Hem ruchtbaar gemaakt door dat gehele land. 32Als dezen nu uitgingen, ziet, zo brachten zij tot Hem een mens, die stom en van den duivel bezeten was. 33En als de duivel uitgeworpen was, sprak de stomme. En de scharen verwonderden zich, zeggende: Er is nooit desgelijks in Israel gezien! 34Maar de Farizeen zeiden: Hij werpt de duivelen uit door den overste der duivelen. 35En Jezus omging al de steden en vlekken, lerende in hun synagogen, en predikende het Evangelie des Koninkrijks, en genezende alle ziekte en alle kwale onder het volk. 36En Hij, de scharen ziende, werd innerlijk met ontferming bewogen over hen, omdat zij vermoeid en verstrooid waren, gelijk schapen, die geen herder hebben. 37Toen zeide Hij tot Zijn discipelen: De oogst is wel groot; maar de arbeiders zijn weinige; 38Bidt dan den Heere des oogstes, dat Hij arbeiders in Zijn oogst uitstote.
