1Ο δε Ιησούς ήτο γέρων, προβεβηκώς εις την ηλικίαν· και είπε προς αυτόν ο Κύριος, Συ είσαι γέρων, προβεβηκώς εις την ηλικίαν, μένει δε έτι πολλή γη να κυριευθή. 2Αύτη είναι η γη, η μένουσα έτι· πάντα τα όρια των Φιλισταίων και πάσα η Γεσσουρί, 3από Σιώρ, του κατέναντι της Αιγύπτου, έως των ορίων της Ακκαρών προς βορράν, τα οποία αριθμούνται εις τους Χαναναίους. αι πέντε ηγεμονίαι των Φιλισταίων, των Γαζαίων, των Αζωτίων, των Ασκαλωνιτών, των Γετθαίων και των Ακκαρωνιτών, και η των Αυϊτών· 4από μεσημβρίας, πάσα η γη των Χαναναίων, και η Μεαρά η των Σιδωνίων έως Αφέκ, έως των ορίων των Αμορραίων· 5και η γη των Γιβλιτών και πας ο Λίβανος, προς ανατολάς ηλίου, από Βάαλ-γαδ υπό το όρος Αερμών, έως της εισόδου Αιμάθ· 6πάντες οι κάτοικοι της ορεινής, από του Λιβάνου έως Μισρεφώθ-μαΐμ, πάντες οι Σιδώνιοι· τούτους εγώ θέλω εξολοθρεύσει απ' έμπροσθεν των υιών Ισραήλ· συ δε διαμοίρασον αυτήν διά κλήρων εις τους Ισραηλίτας, καθώς προσέταξα εις σέ· 7τώρα λοιπόν διαμοίρασον την γην ταύτην εις κληρονομίαν εις τας εννέα φυλάς και εις το ήμισυ της φυλής του Μανασσή. 8Οι Ρουβηνίται και οι Γαδίται, μετά του άλλου ημίσεως αυτής, έλαβον την κληρονομίαν αυτών, την οποίαν έδωκεν εις αυτούς ο Μωϋσής, πέραν του Ιορδάνου προς ανατολάς, καθώς ο Μωϋσής ο δούλος του Κυρίου έδωκεν εις αυτούς, 9από της Αροήρ, της παρά το χείλος του ποταμού Αρνών, και την πόλιν την εν τω μέσω του ποταμού· και πάσαν την πεδινήν Μεδεβά έως Δαιβών, 10και πάσας τας πόλεις του Σηών βασιλέως των Αμορραίων, του βασιλεύοντος εν Εσεβών, έως των ορίων των υιών Αμμών, 11και την Γαλαάδ, και τα όρια των Γεσσουριτών και των Μααχαθιτών, και παν το όρος Αερμών, και πάσαν την Βασάν έως Σαλχά, 12άπαν το βσσίλειον του Ωγ εν Βασάν, του βασιλεύοντος εν Ασταρώθ και εν Εδρεΐ, όστις εναπελείφθη από των υπολοίπων των γιγάντων· διότι τούτους ο Μωϋσής επάταξε και εξωλόθρευσεν αυτούς. 13Τους Γεσσουρίτας όμως και τους Μααχαθίτας οι υιοί Ισραήλ δεν εξωλόθρευσαν, αλλά κατοικούσιν οι Γεσσουρίται και οι Μααχαθίται μεταξύ του Ισραήλ έως της σήμερον. 14Μόνον εις την φυλήν του Λευΐ δεν έδωκε κληρονομίαν· αι διά πυρός γινόμεναι θυσίαι Κυρίου του Θεού του Ισραήλ είναι η κληρονομία αυτών, καθώς είπε προς αυτούς. 15Και έδωκεν ο Μωϋσής εις την φυλήν των υιών Ρουβήν κληρονομίαν, κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών. 16και τα όρια αυτών ήσαν από Αροήρ, της παρά το χείλος του ποταμού Αρνών, και η πόλις εν τω μέσω του ποταμού, και πάσα η πεδινή έως Μεδεβά, 17η Εσεβών και πάσαι αι πόλεις αυτής, αι εν τη πεδινή· Δαιβών, και η Βαμώθ-βαάλ, και η Βαιθ-βάαλ-μεών, 18και η Ιασσά, και η Κεδημώθ, και η Μηφαάθ, 19και η Κιριαθαΐμ, και η Σιβμά, και η Ζαρέθ-σαάρ εν τω όρει της κοιλάδος, 20και η Βαιθ-φεγώρ, και η Ασδώθ-φασγά, και η Βαιθ-ιεσιμώθ, 21και πάσαι αι πόλεις της πεδινής, και άπαν το βασίλειον του Σηών βασιλέως των Αμορραίων, του βασιλεύοντος εν Εσεβών, τον οποίον επάταξεν ο Μωϋσής, αυτόν και τους ηγεμόνας της Μαδιάμ, τον Ευΐ και τον Ρεκέμ και τον Σούρ και τον Ουρ και τον Ρεβά άρχοντας του Σηών, κατοικούντας την γην. 22Και τον Βαλαάμ· τον υιόν του Βεώρ, τον μάντιν, οι υιοί Ισραήλ εθανάτωσαν εν μαχαίρα μεταξύ των φονευθέντων υπ' αυτών. 23Και των υιών Ρουβήν, ο Ιορδάνης ήτο το όριον αυτών. Αύτη είναι η κληρονομία των υιών Ρουβήν κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών, αι πόλεις και αι κώμαι αυτών. 24Και έδωκεν ο Μωϋσής κληρονομίαν εις την φυλήν Γαδ, εις τους υιούς Γαδ, κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών· 25και το όριον αυτών ήτο η Ιαζήρ, και πάσαι αι πόλεις της Γαλαάδ και το ήμισυ της γης των υιών Αμμών, έως της Αροήρ, της κατέναντι Ραββά, 26και από Εσεβών μέχρι Ραμάθ-μισπά και Βετονίμ, και από Μαχαναΐμ έως των ορίων της Δεβείρ, 27και εν τη κοιλάδι, Βαιθ-αράμ και Βαιθ-νιμρά και Σοκχώθ και Σαφών, το επίλοιπον του βασιλείου του Σηών βασιλέως της Εσεβών, και ο Ιορδάνης το όριον έως του άκρου της θαλάσσης Χιννερώθ πέραν του Ιορδάνου προς ανατολάς. 28Αύτη είναι η κληρονομία των υιών Γαδ κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών, αι πόλεις και αι κώμαι αυτών. 29Και έδωκεν ο Μωϋσής κληρονομίαν εις το ήμισυ της φυλής Μανασσή· και έγεινε κτήμα εις το ήμισυ της φυλής των υιών Μανασσή κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών. 30Και το όριον αυτών ήτο από Μαχαναΐμ, πάσα η Βασάν, άπαν το βασίλειον του Ωγ βασιλέως της Βασάν και πάσαι αι κωμοπόλεις του Ιαείρ, αι εν Βασάν, εξήκοντα πόλεις· 31και το ήμισυ της Γαλαάδ και Ασταρώθ και Εδρεΐ, πόλεις του βασιλείου του Ωγ εκ Βασάν, εδόθησαν εις τους υιούς Μαχείρ υιού Μανασσή, εις το ήμισυ των υιών Μαχείρ κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών. 32Ούτοι είναι οι τόποι, τους οποίους εκληροδότησεν ο Μωϋσής εις τας πεδιάδας Μωάβ, εις το πέραν του Ιορδάνου, πλησίον της Ιεριχώ, προς ανατολάς. 33Εις δε την φυλήν του Λευΐ δεν έδωκε κληρονομίαν ο Μωϋσής. Κύριος ο Θεός του Ισραήλ, αυτός ήτο η κληρονομία αυτών, καθώς είπε προς αυτούς.

1Now Joshua was old and well advanced in years. Yahweh said to him, “You are old and advanced in years, and there remains yet very much land to be possessed. 2“This is the land that still remains: all the regions of the Philistines, and all the Geshurites; 3from the Shihor, which is before Egypt, even to the border of Ekron northward, which is counted as Canaanite; the five lords of the Philistines; the Gazites, and the Ashdodites, the Ashkelonites, the Gittites, and the Ekronites; also the Avvim, 4on the south; all the land of the Canaanites, and Mearah that belongs to the Sidonians, to Aphek, to the border of the Amorites; 5and the land of the Gebalites, and all Lebanon, toward the sunrise, from Baal Gad under Mount Hermon to the entrance of Hamath; 6all the inhabitants of the hill country from Lebanon to Misrephoth Maim, even all the Sidonians; them will I drive out from before the children of Israel: only allocate it to Israel for an inheritance, as I have commanded you. 7Now therefore divide this land for an inheritance to the nine tribes and the half-tribe of Manasseh.” 8With him the Reubenites and the Gadites received their inheritance, which Moses gave them, beyond the Jordan eastward, even as Moses the servant of Yahweh gave them: 9from Aroer, that is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, and the city that is in the middle of the valley, and all the plain of Medeba to Dibon; 10and all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, to the border of the children of Ammon; 11and Gilead, and the border of the Geshurites and Maacathites, and all Mount Hermon, and all Bashan to Salecah; 12all the kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei (the same was left of the remnant of the Rephaim); for Moses attacked these, and drove them out. 13Nevertheless the children of Israel didn’t drive out the Geshurites, nor the Maacathites: but Geshur and Maacath dwell in the midst of Israel to this day. 14Only he gave no inheritance to the tribe of Levi. The offerings of Yahweh, the God of Israel, made by fire are his inheritance, as he spoke to him. 15Moses gave to the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their families. 16Their border was from Aroer, that is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, and the city that is in the middle of the valley, and all the plain by Medeba; 17Heshbon, and all its cities that are in the plain; Dibon, Bamoth Baal, Beth Baal Meon, 18Jahaz, Kedemoth, Mephaath, 19Kiriathaim, Sibmah, Zereth Shahar in the mount of the valley, 20Beth Peor, the slopes of Pisgah, Beth Jeshimoth, 21all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses struck with the chiefs of Midian, Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba, the princes of Sihon, who lived in the land. 22The children of Israel also killed Balaam the son of Beor, the soothsayer, with the sword, among the rest of their slain. 23The border of the children of Reuben was the bank of the Jordan. This was the inheritance of the children of Reuben according to their families, the cities and its villages. 24Moses gave to the tribe of Gad, to the children of Gad, according to their families. 25Their border was Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the children of Ammon, to Aroer that is before Rabbah; 26and from Heshbon to Ramath Mizpeh, and Betonim; and from Mahanaim to the border of Debir; 27and in the valley, Beth Haram, Beth Nimrah, Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, the Jordan’s bank, to the uttermost part of the sea of Chinnereth beyond the Jordan eastward. 28This is the inheritance of the children of Gad according to their families, the cities and its villages. 29Moses gave an inheritance to the half-tribe of Manasseh. It was for the half-tribe of the children of Manasseh according to their families. 30Their border was from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the towns of Jair, which are in Bashan, sixty cities. 31Half Gilead, Ashtaroth, and Edrei, the cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, were for the children of Machir the son of Manasseh, even for the half of the children of Machir according to their families. 32These are the inheritances which Moses distributed in the plains of Moab, beyond the Jordan at Jericho, eastward. 33But to the tribe of Levi Moses gave no inheritance. Yahweh, the God of Israel, is their inheritance, as he spoke to them.

1Jozua nu was oud, wel bedaagd; en de HEERE zeide tot hem: Gij zijt oud geworden, welbedaagd, en er is zeer veel lands overgebleven, om dat erfelijk te bezitten. 2Dit is het land, dat overgebleven is; al de grenzen der Filistijnen en het ganse Gesuri. 3Van de Sichor, die voor aan Egypte is, tot aan de landpale van Ekron tegen het noorden, dat den Kanaanieten toegerekend wordt; vijf vorsten der Filistijnen, de Gazatiet en Asdodiet, de Askeloniet, de Gathiet en Ekroniet, en de Avvieten. 4Van het zuiden, het ganse land der Kanaanieten, en Meara, die van de Sidoniers is, tot Afek toe, tot aan de landpale der Amorieten. 5Daartoe het land der Giblieten, en de ganse Libanon tegen den opgang der zon, van Baal-Gad, onder aan den berg Hermon, tot aan den ingang van Hamath. 6Allen, die op het gebergte wonen van den Libanon aan tot Misrefoth-maim toe, al de Sidoniers; Ik zal hen verdrijven van het aangezicht der kinderen Israels; alleenlijk maak, dat het Israel ten erfdeel valle, gelijk als Ik u geboden heb. 7En nu, deel dit land tot een erfdeel aan de negen stammen, en aan den halven stam van Manasse, 8Met denwelken de Rubenieten en Gadieten hun erfenis ontvangen hebben; dewelke Mozes hunlieden gaf aan gene zijde van de Jordaan tegen het oosten, gelijk als Mozes, de knecht des HEEREN, hun gegeven had: 9Van Aroer aan, die aan den oever der beek Arnon is, en de stad, die in het midden der beek is, en al het vlakke land van Medeba tot Dibon toe; 10En al de steden van Sihon, de koning der Amorieten, die te Hesbon geregeerd heeft, tot aan de landpale der kinderen Ammons; 11En Gilead, en de landpale der Gezurieten, en der Maachathieten, en den gansen berg Hermon, en gans Bazan, tot Salcha toe; 12Het ganse koninkrijk van Og, in Bazan, die geregeerd heeft te Astharoth, en te Edrei; deze is overig gebleven uit het overblijfsel der reuzen, dewelke Mozes heeft verslagen, en heeft ze verdreven. 13Doch de kinderen Israels verdreven de Gezurieten en de Maachathieten niet; maar Gezur en Maachath woonden in het midden van Israel tot op dezen dag. 14Alleenlijk gaf hij den stam Levi geen erfenis. De vuurofferen Gods, des HEEREN van Israel, zijn zijne erfenis, gelijk als Hij tot hem gesproken had. 15Alzo gaf Mozes aan den stam der kinderen van Ruben, naar hun huisgezinnen, 16Dat hun landpale was van Aroer af, dat aan den oever der beek Arnon is, en de stad, die in het midden der beek is, en al het vlakke land tot Medeba toe: 17Hesbon en al haar steden, die in het vlakke land zijn, Dibon, en Bamoth-Baal, en Beth-Baal-meon, 18En Jahza, en Kedemoth, en Mefaath, 19En Kirjathaim, en Sibma, en Zeret-Hassahar op den berg des dals, 20En Beth-Peor, en Asdoth-Pisga, en Beth-Jesimoth; 21En alle steden des vlakken lands, en het ganse koninkrijk van Sihon, den koning der Amorieten, die te Hesbon regeerde, denwelken Mozes geslagen heeft, mitsgaders de vorsten van Midian, Evi, en Rekem, en Zur, en Hur, en Reba, geweldigen van Sihon, inwoners des lands. 22Daartoe hebben de kinderen Israels met het zwaard gedood Bileam, den zoon van Beor, den voorzegger, nevens degenen, die van hen verslagen zijn. 23De landpale nu der kinderen van Ruben was de Jordaan, en derzelver landpale; dat is het erfdeel der kinderen van Ruben, naar hun huisgezinnen, de steden en haar dorpen. 24En aan den stam van Gad, aan de kinderen van Gad, naar hun huisgezinnen, gaf Mozes, 25Dat hun landpale was Jaezer, en al de steden van Gilead, en het halve land der kinderen Ammons, tot Aroer toe, die voor aan Rabba is; 26En van Hesbon af tot Ramath-Mizpa en Betonim; en van Mahanaim tot aan de landpale van Debir; 27En in het dal, Beth-haram, en Beth-nimra, en Sukkoth, en Zefon, wat over was van het koninkrijk van Sihon, den koning te Hesbon, de Jordaan en haar landpale, tot aan het einde der zee van Cinnereth, over de Jordaan, tegen het oosten. 28Dit is het erfdeel der kinderen van Gad, naar hun huisgezinnen: de steden en haar dorpen. 29Verder had Mozes aan den halven stam van Manasse een erfenis gegeven, die aan den halven stam der kinderen van Manasse bleef, naar hun huisgezinnen; 30Zodat hun landpale was van Mahanaim af, het ganse Bazan, het ganse koninkrijk van Og, den koning van Bazan, en al de vlekken van Jair, die in Bazan zijn, zestig steden. 31En het halve Gilead, en Astharoth, en Edrei, steden des koninkrijks van Og in Bazan, waren van de kinderen van Machir, den zoon van Manasse, namelijk de helft der kinderen van Machir, naar hun huisgezinnen. 32Dat is het, wat Mozes ten erve uitgedeeld had in de velden van Moab, op gene zijde der Jordaan van Jericho, tegen het oosten. 33Maar aan den stam van Levi gaf Mozes geen erfdeel; de HEERE, de God Israels, is Zelf hunlieder Erfdeel, gelijk als Hij tot hen gesproken heeft.
