1Tháng giêng năm thứ hai, sau khi ra khỏi xứ Ê-díp-tô, Ðức Giê-hô-va lại phán cùng Môi-se trong đồng vắng Si-na -i rằng: 2Dân Y-sơ-ra-ên phải giữ lễ Vượt-qua theo kỳ nhất định. 3Các ngươi phải giữ lễ đó theo kỳ nhất định, tức là ngày mười bốn tháng nầy, vào buổi chiều tối; các ngươi phải làm theo hết thảy lệ định và luật pháp về lễ đó. 4Vậy, Môi-se nói cùng dân Y-sơ-ra-ên để họ giữ lễ Vượt-qua. 5Dân Y-sơ-ra-ên giữ lễ Vượt-qua trong tuần tháng giêng, ngày mười bốn, vào buổi chiều tối, tại đồng vắng Si-na -i, làm y mọi điều Ðức Giê-hô-va đã phán dặn Môi-se. 6Vả, có mấy người vì cớ xác chết mà bị ô uế, không được giữ lễ Vượt-qua trong ngày đó, bèn đến trước mặt Môi-se và A-rôn, 7mà thưa cùng Môi-se rằng: Chúng tôi bị lây ô uế vì xác chết của loài người; sao tại trong dân Y-sơ-ra-ên chúng tôi phải bị cất phần dâng của lễ cho Ðức Giê-hô-va theo kỳ đã chỉ? 8Môi-se đáp rằng: Hãy đợi để ta biết điều Ðức Giê-hô-va sẽ truyền dạy về các ngươi. 9Ðức Giê-hô-va bèn phán cùng Môi-se rằng: 10Hãy nói cùng dân Y-sơ-ra-ên rằng: Khi một người trong vòng các ngươi hay là trong vòng hậu đại các ngươi bị ô uế vì cớ xác chết, hoặc mắc đi xa, thì cũng buộc phải giữ lễ Vượt-qua cho Ðức Giê-hô-va. 11Mấy người đó phải giữ lễ nầy ngày mười bốn tháng hai, vào buổi chiều tối, ăn bánh không men cùng rau đắng, 12chớ nên để chi còn dư lại đến sáng lai, và cũng chẳng nên bẻ gãy những xương; phải giữ theo mọi luật lệ về lễ Vượt-qua vậy. 13Nhưng còn ai tinh sạch và không có đi xa, nếu chẳng giữ lễ Vượt-qua thì sẽ bị truất khỏi dân sự mình: vì người ấy chẳng dâng của lễ cho Ðức Giê-hô-va trong kỳ nhất định; người sẽ mang lấy tội mình. 14Khi một khách ngoại bang kiều ngụ giữa các ngươi mà muốn giữ lễ Vượt-qua cho Ðức Giê-hô-va, thì phải giữ theo lệ định và luật pháp về lễ Vượt-qua. Ðồng có một luật lệ cho các ngươi, cho khách ngoại bang, và cho người nào sanh tại trong xứ. 15Vả, ngày người ta dựng đền tạm, thì trụ mây bao phủ đền tạm và Trại chứng cớ; ban chiều dường có một vầng lửa ở trên đền tạm cho đến sáng mai. 16Hằng có như vậy; ban ngày trụ mây bao phủ đền tạm, và ban đêm giống như có lửa. 17Mỗi khi trụ mây cất lên khỏi Trại, thì dân Y-sơ-ra-ên ra đi; trong nơi nào trụ mây dừng lại, thì dân Y-sơ-ra-ên hạ trại ở đó. 18Dân Y-sơ-ra-ên ra đi theo mạng Ðức Giê-hô-va, và hạ trại theo mạng Ðức Giê-hô-va. Trọn trong lúc trụ mây ngự trên đền tạm, thì dân Y-sơ-ra-ên cứ đóng trại. 19Khi nào trụ mây ngự lâu trên đền tạm, thì dân Y-sơ-ra-ên vâng theo mạng Ðức Giê-hô-va, chẳng hề ra đi. 20Nhưng khi nào trụ mây ngự ít ngày trên đền tạm, thì dân Y-sơ-ra-ên cứ vâng theo mạng Ðức Giê-hô-va mà hạ trại và ra đi. 21Khi trụ mây ngự tại đó từ buổi chiều đến sáng mai, và khi đến sáng mai trụ mây cất lên, thì ra đi; không cứ ngày hay đêm trụ mây cất lên, thì họ ra đi. 22Trụ mây ngự trên đền tạm hoặc hai ngày, hoặc một tháng, hoặc lâu hơn nữa, thì dân Y-sơ-ra-ên cứ đóng trại, không hề ra đi; nhưng khi trụ mây cất lên, thì họ ra đi. 23Dân Y-sơ-ra-ên hạ trại và ra đi tùy theo mạng Ðức Giê-hô-va; họ theo chương trình của Ðức Giê-hô-va, tùy mạng Ngài đã cậy Môi-se mà truyền cho.
1Yahweh spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying, 2“Moreover let the children of Israel keep the Passover in its appointed season. 3On the fourteenth day of this month, at evening, you shall keep it in its appointed season—according to all its statutes, and according to all its ordinances, you shall keep it.” 4Moses spoke to the children of Israel, that they should keep the Passover. 5They kept the Passover in the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, at evening, in the wilderness of Sinai. According to all that Yahweh commanded Moses, so the children of Israel did. 6There were certain men, who were unclean because of the dead body of a man, so that they could not keep the Passover on that day, and they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day. 7Those men said to him, “We are unclean because of the dead body of a man. Why are we kept back, that we may not offer the offering of Yahweh in its appointed season among the children of Israel?” 8Moses answered them, “Wait, that I may hear what Yahweh will command concerning you.” 9Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 10“Say to the children of Israel, ‘If any man of you or of your generations is unclean by reason of a dead body, or is on a journey far away, he shall still keep the Passover to Yahweh. 11In the second month, on the fourteenth day at evening they shall keep it; they shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs. 12They shall leave none of it until the morning, nor break a bone of it. According to all the statute of the Passover they shall keep it. 13But the man who is clean, and is not on a journey, and fails to keep the Passover, that soul shall be cut off from his people. Because he didn’t offer the offering of Yahweh in its appointed season, that man shall bear his sin. 14“‘If a foreigner lives among you, and desires to keep the Passover to Yahweh; according to the statute of the Passover, and according to its ordinance, so shall he do. You shall have one statute, both for the foreigner, and for him who is born in the land.’” 15On the day that the tabernacle was raised up, the cloud covered the tabernacle, even the Tent of the Testimony: and at evening it was over the tabernacle as it were the appearance of fire, until morning. 16So it was continually. The cloud covered it, and the appearance of fire by night. 17Whenever the cloud was taken up from over the Tent, then after that the children of Israel traveled; and in the place where the cloud remained, there the children of Israel encamped. 18At the commandment of Yahweh, the children of Israel traveled, and at the commandment of Yahweh they encamped. As long as the cloud remained on the tabernacle they remained encamped. 19When the cloud stayed on the tabernacle many days, then the children of Israel kept Yahweh’s command, and didn’t travel. 20Sometimes the cloud was a few days on the tabernacle; then according to the commandment of Yahweh they remained encamped, and according to the commandment of Yahweh they traveled. 21Sometimes the cloud was from evening until morning; and when the cloud was taken up in the morning, they traveled: or by day and by night, when the cloud was taken up, they traveled. 22Whether it was two days, or a month, or a year that the cloud stayed on the tabernacle, remaining on it, the children of Israel remained encamped, and didn’t travel; but when it was taken up, they traveled. 23At the commandment of Yahweh they encamped, and at the commandment of Yahweh they traveled. They kept Yahweh’s command, at the commandment of Yahweh by Moses.
1En de HEERE sprak tot Mozes in de woestijn van Sinai, in het tweede jaar, nadat zij uit Egypteland uitgetogen waren, in de eerste maand, zeggende: 2Dat de kinderen Israels het pascha houden zouden, op zijn gezetten tijd. 3Op den veertienden dag in deze maand, tussen twee avonden zult gij dat houden, op zijn gezetten tijd; naar al zijn inzettingen, en naar al zijn rechten zult gij dat houden. 4Mozes dan sprak tot de kinderen Israels, dat zij het pascha zouden houden. 5En zij hielden het pascha op den veertienden dag der eerste maand, tussen de twee avonden, in de woestijn van Sinai; naar alles wat de HEERE Mozes geboden had, alzo deden de kinderen Israels. 6Toen waren er lieden geweest, die over het dode lichaam eens mensen onrein waren, en op denzelven dag het pascha niet hadden kunnen houden; daarom naderden zij voor het aangezicht van Mozes, en voor het aangezicht van Aaron op dienzelven dag. 7En diezelve lieden zeiden tot hem: Wij zijn onrein over het dode lichaam eens mensen; waarom zouden wij verkort worden, dat wij de offerande des HEEREN op zijn gezetten tijd niet zouden offeren, in het midden van de kinderen Israels? 8En Mozes zeide tot hen: Blijft staande, dat ik hoor, wat de HEERE u gebieden zal. 9Toen sprak de HEERE tot Mozes, zeggende: 10Spreek tot de kinderen Israels, zeggende: Wanneer iemand onder u, of onder uw geslachten, over een dood lichaam onrein, of op een verren weg zal zijn, hij zal dan nog den HEERE het pascha houden. 11In de tweede maand, op den veertienden dag, tussen de twee avonden, zullen zij dat houden; met ongezuurde broden en bittere saus zullen zij dat eten. 12Zij zullen daarvan niet overlaten tot den morgen, en zullen daaraan geen been breken; naar alle inzetting van het pascha zullen zij dat houden. 13Als een man, die rein is, en op den weg niet is, en nalaten zal het pascha te houden, zo zal diezelve ziel uit haar volken uitgeroeid worden; want hij heeft de offerande des HEEREN op zijn gezetten tijd niet geofferd, diezelve man zal zijn zonde dragen. 14En wanneer een vreemdeling bij u als vreemdeling verkeert, en hij het pascha den HEERE ook houden zal, naar de inzetting van het pascha, en naar zijn wijze, alzo zal hij het houden; het zal enerlei inzetting voor ulieden zijn, beiden den vreemdeling en den inboorling des lands. 15En op den dag van het oprichten des tabernakels bedekte de wolk den tabernakel, op de tent der getuigenis; en in den avond was over den tabernakel als een gedaante des vuurs, tot aan den morgen. 16Alzo geschiedde het geduriglijk; de wolk bedekte denzelven, en des nachts was er een gedaante des vuurs. 17Maar nadat de wolk opgeheven werd van boven de tent, zo verreisden ook daarna de kinderen Israels; en in de plaats, waar de wolk bleef, daar legerden zich de kinderen Israels. 18Naar den mond des HEEREN, verreisden de kinderen Israels, en naar des HEEREN mond legerden zij zich; al de dagen, in dewelke de wolk over den tabernakel bleef, legerden zij zich. 19En als de wolk vele dagen over den tabernakel verbleef, zo namen de kinderen Israels de wacht des HEEREN waar, en verreisden niet. 20Als het nu was, dat de wolk weinige dagen op den tabernakel was, naar den mond des HEEREN legerden zij zich, en naar den mond des HEEREN verreisden zij. 21Maar was het, dat de wolk van den avond tot den morgen daar was, en de wolk in den morgen opgeheven werd, zo verreisden zij; of des daags, of des nachts, als de wolk opgeheven werd, zo verreisden zij. 22Of als de wolk twee dagen, of een maand, of vele dagen vertoog op den tabernakel, blijvende daarop, zo legerden zich de kinderen Israels, en verreisden niet; en als zij verheven werd, verreisden zij. 23Naar den mond des HEEREN legerden zij zich, en naar den mond des HEEREN verreisden zij; zij namen de wacht des HEEREN waar, naar den mond des HEEREN, door de hand van Mozes.
