1Ðức Giê-hô-va phán cùng Môi-se và A-rôn rằng: 2Dân Y-sơ-ra-ên mỗi người phải đóng trại gần bên ngọn cờ mình, ở dưới bảng hiệu của tông tộc mình, đối ngang nhau vây chung quanh hội mạc. 3Trại quân Giu-đa sẽ đóng tại hướng đông, về phía mặt trời mọc, với ngọn cờ và những đội ngũ của mình. Quan-trưởng của người Giu-đa là Na-ha-sôn, con trai của A-mi-na-đáp; 4và quân đội người, cứ theo kê sổ, cọng bảy mươi bốn ngàn sáu trăm người. 5Chi phái Y-sa-ca phải đóng trại bên Giu-đa; quan trưởng của người Y-sa-ca là Na-tha-na-ên, con trai Xu-a; 6và quân đội người, cứ theo kê sổ, cọng năm mươi bốn ngàn bốn trăm người. 7Kế đến chi phái Sa-bu-lôn; quan trưởng của người Sa-bu-lôn là Ê-li-áp, con trai của Hê-lôn, 8và quân đội người, cứ theo kê sổ, cộng năm mươi bảy ngàn bốn trăm người. 9Vậy, các người đã kê sổ theo trại quân Giu-đa, từng đội ngũ, cộng một trăm tám mươi sáu ngàn bốn trăm người. Quan trưởng của người Ðan là A-hi-ê-xe, con trai của A-mi-sa-đai; 26và quân đội người, cứ theo kê sổ, cộng sáu mươi hai ngàn bảy trăm người. 27Chi phái A-se phải đóng trại bên Ðan; quan trưởng của người A-se là Pha-ghi-ên, con trai của Oùc-ran; 28và quân đội người, cứ theo kê sổ, cộng bốn mươi mốt ngàn năm trăm người. 29Kế đến chi phái Nép-ta-li; quan trưởng của người Nép-ta-li là A-hi-ra, con trai của Ê-nan; 30và quân đội người, cứ theo kê sổ, cộng năm mươi ba ngàn bốn trăm người. 31Vậy, các người đã kê sổ theo trại quân Ðan, cộng một trăm năm mươi bảy ngàn sáu trăm người. Họ theo ngọn cờ mình phải đi hậu binh. 32Ðó là những người trong dân Y-sơ-ra-ên mà người ta tu bộ tùy theo tông tộc mình. Trong các trại quân hết thảy người đã kê sổ từng đội ngũ là sáu trăm ba ngàn năm trăm năm mươi người. 33Nhưng người Lê-vi không nhập sổ chung với dân Y-sơ-ra-ên, tùy theo mạng của Ðức Giê-hô-va đã truyền cho Môi-se. 34Dân Y-sơ-ra-ên y theo mọi điều Ðức Giê-hô-va đã phán dặn Môi-se, bèn đóng trại tùy theo ngọn cờ mình, và mỗi người ra đi tùy theo họ hàng và tông tộc mình.
1Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying, 2“The children of Israel shall encamp every man by his own standard, with the banners of their fathers’ houses: at a distance from the Tent of Meeting shall they encamp around it.” 3Those who encamp on the east side toward the sunrise shall be of the standard of the camp of Judah, according to their divisions: and the prince of the children of Judah shall be Nahshon the son of Amminadab. 4His division, and those who were numbered of them, were seventy-four thousand six hundred. 5Those who encamp next to him shall be the tribe of Issachar: and the prince of the children of Issachar shall be Nethanel the son of Zuar. 6His division, and those who were numbered of it, were fifty-four thousand four hundred. 7The tribe of Zebulun: and the prince of the children of Zebulun shall be Eliab the son of Helon. 8His division, and those who were numbered of it, were fifty-seven thousand four hundred. 9All who were numbered of the camp of Judah were one hundred eighty-six thousand four hundred, according to their divisions. They shall set out first. 10“On the south side shall be the standard of the camp of Reuben according to their divisions. The prince of the children of Reuben shall be Elizur the son of Shedeur. 11His division, and those who were numbered of it, were forty-six thousand five hundred. 12“Those who encamp next to him shall be the tribe of Simeon. The prince of the children of Simeon shall be Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai. 13His division, and those who were numbered of them, were fifty-nine thousand three hundred. 14“The tribe of Gad: and the prince of the children of Gad shall be Eliasaph the son of Reuel. 15His division, and those who were numbered of them, were forty-five thousand six hundred fifty. 16“All who were numbered of the camp of Reuben were one hundred fifty-one thousand four hundred fifty, according to their armies. They shall set out second. 17“Then the Tent of Meeting shall set out, with the camp of the Levites in the midst of the camps. As they encamp, so shall they set out, every man in his place, by their standards. 18“On the west side shall be the standard of the camp of Ephraim according to their divisions: and the prince of the children of Ephraim shall be Elishama the son of Ammihud. 19His division, and those who were numbered of them, were forty thousand five hundred. 20“Next to him shall be the tribe of Manasseh: and the prince of the children of Manasseh shall be Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur. 21His division, and those who were numbered of them, were thirty-two thousand two hundred. 22“The tribe of Benjamin: and the prince of the children of Benjamin shall be Abidan the son of Gideoni. 23His army, and those who were numbered of them, were thirty-five thousand four hundred. 24“All who were numbered of the camp of Ephraim were one hundred eight thousand one hundred, according to their divisions. They shall set out third. 25“On the north side shall be the standard of the camp of Dan according to their divisions: and the prince of the children of Dan shall be Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai. 26His division, and those who were numbered of them, were sixty-two thousand seven hundred. 27“Those who encamp next to him shall be the tribe of Asher: and the prince of the children of Asher shall be Pagiel the son of Ochran. 28His division, and those who were numbered of them, were forty-one thousand and five hundred. 29“The tribe of Naphtali: and the prince of the children of Naphtali shall be Ahira the son of Enan. 30His division, and those who were numbered of them, were fifty-three thousand four hundred. 31“All who were numbered of the camp of Dan were one hundred fifty-seven thousand six hundred. They shall set out last by their standards.” 32These are those who were numbered of the children of Israel by their fathers’ houses. All who were numbered of the camps according to their armies were six hundred three thousand five hundred fifty. 33But the Levites were not numbered among the children of Israel; as Yahweh commanded Moses. 34Thus the children of Israel did. According to all that Yahweh commanded Moses, so they encamped by their standards, and so they set out, everyone by their families, according to their fathers’ houses.

En zij zullen de tweede optrekken. 17Daarna zal de tent der samenkomst optrekken, met het leger der Levieten, in het midden van de legers; gelijk als zij zich legeren zullen, alzo zullen zij optrekken, een iegelijk aan zijn plaats, naar hun banieren. 18De banier des legers van Efraim, naar hun heiren, zal tegen het westen zijn; en Elisama, de zoon van Ammihud, zal de overste der zonen van Efraim zijn. 19Zijn heir nu, en zijn getelden waren veertig duizend en vijfhonderd. 20En nevens hem de stam van Manasse; en Gamaliel, de zoon van Pedazur, zal de overste der zonen van Manasse zijn. 21Zijn heir nu, en zijn getelden waren twee en dertig duizend en tweehonderd. 22Daartoe de stam van Benjamin; en Abidan, de zoon van Gideoni, zal de overste der zonen van Benjamin zijn. 23Zijn heir nu, en zijn getelden waren vijf en dertig duizend en vierhonderd. 24Al de getelden in het leger van Efraim waren honderd acht duizend en eenhonderd, naar hun heiren. En zij zullen de derde optrekken. 25De banier des legers van Dan zal tegen het noorden zijn, naar hun heiren; en Ahiezer, de zoon van Ammisaddai, zal de overste der zonen van Dan zijn. 26Zijn heir nu, en zijn getelden waren twee en zestig duizend en zevenhonderd. 27En nevens hem zal zich legeren de stam van Aser; en Pagiel, de zoon van Ochran, zal de overste der zonen van Aser zijn. 28Zijn heir nu, en zijn getelden waren een en veertig duizend en vijfhonderd. 29Daartoe de stam van Nafthali; en Ahira, de zoon van Enan, zal de overste der zonen van Nafthali zijn. 30Zijn heir nu, en zijn getelden waren drie en vijftig duizend en vierhonderd. 31Al de getelden in het leger van Dan waren honderd zeven en vijftig duizend en zeshonderd. In het achterste zullen zij optrekken, naar hun banieren. 32Dezen zijn de getelden van de kinderen Israels, naar het huis hunner vaderen; al de getelden der legers, naar hun heiren waren, zeshonderd drie duizend vijfhonderd en vijftig. 33Maar de Levieten werden niet geteld onder de zonen van Israel, gelijk als de HEERE Mozes geboden had. 34En de kinderen Israels deden naar alles, wat de HEERE Mozes geboden had, zo legerden zij zich naar hun banieren, en zo trokken zij op, een iegelijk naar zijn geslachten, naar het huis zijner vaderen.
