1Xảy ra trong những ngày sau rốt, núi của nhà Ðức Giê-hô-va sẽ lập lên trên chót các núi, và sẽ được nhắc cao lên hơn các đồi. Các dân sẽ chảy về đó; 2và nhiều nước sẽ đi đến đó, mà rằng: Hãy đến, chúng ta hãy lên núi của Ðức Giê-hô-va, nơi nhà của Ðức Chúa Trời Gia-cốp! Ngài sẽ dạy chúng ta về đường lối Ngài, và chúng ta sẽ đi trong các nẻo Ngài. Vì luật pháp sẽ ra từ Si-ôn, lời của Ðức Giê-hô-va từ Giê-ru-sa-lem. 3Ngài sẽ làm ra sự phán xét giữa nhiều dân, đoán định các nước mạnh nơi phương xa; và họ sẽ lấy gươm rèn lưỡi cày, lấy giáo rèn lưỡi liềm; nước nầy chẳng giá gươm lên nghịch cùng nước khác, và cùng không tập sự chiến tranh nữa. 4Ai nấy sẽ ngồi dưới cây nho mình và dưới cây vả mình, không ai làm cho lo sợ; vì miệng Ðức Giê-hô-va vạn quân đã phán. 5Mọi dân tộc ai nấy bước theo danh của thần mình; và chúng ta sẽ bước theo danh Giê-hô-va Ðức Chúa Trời chúng ta đời đời vô cùng! 6Ðức Giê-hô-va phán: Trong ngày đó, ta sẽ nhóm kẻ què lại, và thâu kẻ đã bị đuổi, kẻ mà ta đã làm cho buồn rầu. 7Rồi ta sẽ đặt kẻ què làm dân sót, và kẻ bị bỏ làm nước mạnh: Ðức Giê-hô-va sẽ trị vì trên chúng nó trong núi Si-ôn, từ bây giờ đến đời đời. 8Còn ngươi, là tháp của bầy, đồi của con gái Si-ôn, quyền thế cũ của ngươi, tức là nước của con gái Giê-ru-sa-lem, sẽ đến cùng ngươi. 9Nhưng bây giờ làm sao ngươi trổi tiếng kỳ lạ như vầy? Giữa ngươi há không có vua sao? Hay là mưu sĩ ngươi đã chết, nên ngươi bị quặn thắt như đờn bà sanh đẻ? 10Hỡi con gái Si-ôn, hãy đau đớn khó nhọc để đẻ ra như đờn bà đẻ! Vì ngươi sẽ đi ra khỏi thành và ở trong đồng ruộng, và ngươi sẽ đến Ba-by-lôn. Nhưng ở đó, ngươi sẽ được giải cứu; ấy là tại đó mà Ðức Giê-hô-va sẽ chuộc ngươi ra khỏi tay kẻ thù nghịch ngươi. 11Bây giờ có nhiều nước nhóm lại nghịch cùng ngươi, nói rằng: Nguyền cho nó bị uế tục, và nguyền cho con mắt chúng ta xem thấy sự ước ao mình xảy đến trên Si-ôn! 12Song chúng nó không biết ý tưởng Ðức Giê-hô-va, không hiểu mưu của Ngài; vì Ngài đã nhóm chúng nó lại như những bó lúa đến nơi sân đạp lúa. 13Vậy, hỡi con gái Si-ôn, hãy chổi dậy, khá giày đạp! Vì ta sẽ làm cho sừng ngươi nên sắt, vó ngươi nên đồng; ngươi sẽ nghiền nát nhiều dân, và ta sẽ dâng lợi của chúng nó cho Ðức Giê-hô-va, của cải chúng nó cho Chúa trên khắp đất.
1But in the latter days, it will happen that the mountain of Yahweh’s temple will be established on the top of the mountains, and it will be exalted above the hills; and peoples will stream to it. 2Many nations will go and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of Yahweh, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths.” For the law will go out of Zion, and Yahweh’s word from Jerusalem; 3and he will judge between many peoples, and will decide concerning strong nations afar off. They will beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war any more. 4But they will sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and no one will make them afraid: For the mouth of Yahweh of Armies has spoken. 5Indeed all the nations may walk in the name of their gods; but we will walk in the name of Yahweh our God forever and ever. 6“In that day,” says Yahweh, “I will assemble that which is lame, and I will gather that which is driven away, and that which I have afflicted; 7and I will make that which was lame a remnant, and that which was cast far off a strong nation: and Yahweh will reign over them on Mount Zion from then on, even forever.” 8You, tower of the flock, the hill of the daughter of Zion, to you it will come, yes, the former dominion will come, the kingdom of the daughter of Jerusalem. 9Now why do you cry out aloud? Is there no king in you? Has your counselor perished, that pains have taken hold of you as of a woman in travail? 10Be in pain, and labor to give birth, daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail; for now you will go out of the city, and will dwell in the field, and will come even to Babylon. There you will be rescued. There Yahweh will redeem you from the hand of your enemies. 11Now many nations have assembled against you, that say, “Let her be defiled, and let our eye gloat over Zion.” 12But they don’t know the thoughts of Yahweh, neither do they understand his counsel; for he has gathered them like the sheaves to the threshing floor. 13Arise and thresh, daughter of Zion; for I will make your horn iron, and I will make your hoofs brass; and you will beat in pieces many peoples: and I will devote their gain to Yahweh, and their substance to the Lord of the whole earth.
1Maar in het laatste der dagen zal het geschieden, dat de berg van het huis des HEEREN zal vastgesteld zijn op den top der bergen; en hij zal verheven zijn boven de heuvelen, en de volken zullen tot hem toevloeien. 2En vele heidenen zullen henengaan, en zeggen: Komt en laat ons opgaan tot den berg des HEEREN, en ten huize van den God Jakobs, opdat Hij ons lere van Zijn wegen, en wij in Zijn paden wandelen; want uit Sion zal de wet uitgaan, en des HEEREN woord uit Jeruzalem. 3En Hij zal onder grote volken richten, en machtige heidenen straffen, tot verre toe; en zij zullen hun zwaarden slaan tot spaden, en hun spiesen tot sikkelen; het ene volk zal tegen het andere volk geen zwaard opheffen, en zij zullen den krijg niet meer leren. 4Maar zij zullen zitten, een ieder onder zijn wijnstok, en onder zijn vijgeboom, en er zal niemand zijn, die ze verschrikke; want de mond des HEEREN der heirscharen heeft het gesproken. 5Want alle volken zullen wandelen, elk in den naam zijns gods; maar wij zullen wandelen in den Naam des HEEREN, onzes Gods, eeuwiglijk en altoos. 6Te dien dage, spreekt de HEERE, zal Ik haar, die hinkende was, verzamelen, en haar, die verdreven was, vergaderen, en die Ik geplaagd had. 7En Ik zal haar, die hinkende was, maken tot een overblijfsel, en haar die verre henen verstoten was, tot een machtig volk; en de HEERE zal Koning over hen zijn op den berg Sions, van nu aan tot in eeuwigheid. 8En gij Schaapstoren, gij Ofel der dochter Sions! tot u zal komen, ja, daar zal komen de vorige heerschappij, het koninkrijk der dochteren van Jeruzalem. 9Nu, waarom zoudt gij zo groot geschrei maken? Is er geen Koning onder u? Is uw Raadgever vergaan, dat u smart, als van een barende vrouw, heeft aangegrepen? 10Lijd smart en arbeid om voort te brengen, o dochter Sions! als een barende vrouw; want nu zult gij wel uit de stad henen uitgaan, en op het veld wonen, en tot in Babel komen, maar aldaar zult gij gered worden; aldaar zal u de HEERE verlossen uit de hand uwer vijanden. 11Nu zijn wel vele heidenen tegen u verzameld, die daar zeggen: Laat ze ontheiligd worden, en laat ons oog schouwen aan Sion. 12Maar zij weten de gedachten des HEEREN niet, en verstaan Zijn raadslag niet; dat Hij hen vergaderd heeft als garven tot den dorsvloer. 13Maak u op en dors, o dochter Sions! Want Ik zal uw hoorn ijzer maken, en uw klauwen koper maken, en gij zult vele volken verpletteren; en Ik zal hunlieder gewin den HEERE verbannen, en hun vermogen den Heere der ganse aarde.
