Mi-chê 3

1Vậy nên ta nói rằng: Các trưởng của Gia-cốp và các ngươi là kẻ cai trị nhà Y-sơ-ra-ên, hãy nghe! Há chẳng phải các ngươi nên biết sự công nghĩa sao? 2Vả, các ngươi ghét điều lành, ưa điều dữ; lột da của những kẻ nầy và róc thịt trên xương chúng nó. 3Các ngươi ăn thịt của dân ta, lột lấy da và bẻ lấy xương, xé ra từng mảnh như sắm cho nồi, như là thịt ở trong chảo. 4Bấy giờ chúng nó sẽ kêu cùng Ðức Giê-hô-va, nhưng Ngài không trả lời. Phải, Ngài sẽ giấu mặt khỏi chúng nó trong lúc ấy theo như những việc dữ chúng ta làm. 5Nầy là lời Ðức Giê-hô-va phán ra về các kẻ tiên tri làm lầm lạc dân ta, là kẻ cắn bằng răng mình, và rao rằng: Bình an! và nếu ai không cho vật gì vào miệng chúng nó thì sửa soạn sự chiến tranh nghịch cùng nó. 6Vì cớ đó, ban đêm sẽ ở trên các ngươi mà không có sự hiện thấy; các ngươi sẽ ở trong tối tăm mà không nói tiên tri; mặt trời sẽ lặn trên các tiên tri đó, và ban ngày sẽ tối đi chung quanh họ. 7Những kẻ tiên kiến sẽ phải xấu hổ, và những kẻ tiên tri sẽ bị nhuốc nha. Hết thảy đều che môi lại, vì chẳng được lời đáp nào của Ðức Chúa Trời. 8Nhưng ta, ta được đầy dẫy sức mạnh, sự xét đoán, và lòng bạo dạn, bởi Thần của Ðức Giê-hô-va, để rao ra cho Gia-cốp về sự phạm pháp nó, cho Y-sơ-ra-ên về tội lỗi nó. 9Hỡi các trưởng của nhà Gia-cốp, và các ngươi là kẻ cai trị nhà Y-sơ-ra-ên, hãy nghe điều nầy, các ngươi gớm sự chánh trực, và làm bại hoại sự bằng phẳng. 10Các người lấy huyết xây thành Si-ôn, và lấy sự gian ác xây thành Giê-ru-sa-lem. 11Các quan trưởng xét đoán vì của hối lộ, các thầy tế lễ dạy dỗ vì tiền công, còn các kẻ tiên tri nói tiên tri vì bạc; rồi chúng nó nương cậy Ðức Giê-hô-va mà rằng: Ðức Giê-hô-va há chẳng ở giữa chúng ta sao? Tai vạ sẽ chẳng đến trên chúng ta! 12Vậy nên, vì cớ các ngươi, Si-ôn sẽ bị cày như ruộng; Giê-ru-sa-lem sẽ trở nên đống đổ nát, và núi của nhà sẽ trở nên như nơi cao trong rừng!

1I said, “Please listen, you heads of Jacob, and rulers of the house of Israel: Isn’t it for you to know justice? 2You who hate the good, and love the evil; who tear off their skin, and their flesh from off their bones; 3who also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them, and break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the cauldron. 4Then they will cry to Yahweh, but he will not answer them. Yes, he will hide his face from them at that time, because they made their deeds evil.” 5Thus says Yahweh concerning the prophets who lead my people astray; for those who feed their teeth, they proclaim, “Peace!” and whoever doesn’t provide for their mouths, they prepare war against him: 6“Therefore night is over you, with no vision, and it is dark to you, that you may not divine; and the sun will go down on the prophets, and the day will be black over them. 7The seers shall be disappointed, and the diviners confounded. Yes, they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer from God.” 8But as for me, I am full of power by the Spirit of Yahweh, and of judgment, and of might, to declare to Jacob his disobedience, and to Israel his sin. 9Please listen to this, you heads of the house of Jacob, and rulers of the house of Israel, who abhor justice, and pervert all equity. 10They build up Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity. 11Her leaders judge for bribes, and her priests teach for a price, and her prophets of it tell fortunes for money: yet they lean on Yahweh, and say, “Isn’t Yahweh in the midst of us? No disaster will come on us.” 12Therefore Zion for your sake will be plowed like a field, and Jerusalem will become heaps of rubble, and the mountain of the temple like the high places of a forest.

1Voorts zeide ik: Hoort nu, gij hoofden Jakobs, en gij oversten van het huis Israels! Betaamt het ulieden niet het recht te weten? 2Zij haten het goede, en hebben het kwade lief; zij roven hun huid van hen af, en hun vlees van hun beenderen. 3Ja, zij zijn het, die het vlees mijns volks eten, en hun huid afstropen, en hun beenderen verbreken; en vaneen leggen, gelijk als in een pot, en als vlees in het midden eens ketels. 4Alsdan zullen zij roepen tot den HEERE, doch Hij zal hen niet verhoren; maar zal Zijn aangezicht te dier tijd voor hen verbergen, gelijk als zij hun handelingen kwaad gemaakt hebben. 5Alzo zegt de HEERE, tegen de profeten, die Mijn volk verleiden; die met hun tanden bijten, en roepen vrede uit; maar die niets geeft in hun mond, tegen dien zo heiligen zij een krijg. 6Daarom zal het nacht voor ulieden worden vanwege het gezicht, en ulieden zal duisternis zijn vanwege de waarzegging; en de zon zal over deze profeten ondergaan; en de dag zal over hen zwart worden. 7En de zieners zullen beschaamd, en de waarzeggers schaamrood worden; en zij zullen al te zamen de bovenste lip bewimpelen; want er zal geen antwoord Gods zijn. 8Maar waarlijk, ik ben vol krachts van den Geest des HEEREN; en vol van gericht en dapperheid, om Jakob te verkondigen zijn overtreding, en Israel zijn zonde. 9Hoort nu dit, gij hoofden van het huis Jakobs, en gij oversten van het huis Israels! die van het gericht een gruwel hebt, en al wat recht is verkeert; 10Bouwende Sion met bloed, en Jeruzalem met onrecht. 11Haar hoofden rechten om geschenken, en haar priesters leren om loon, en haar profeten waarzeggen om geld; nog steunen zij op den HEERE, zeggende: Is de HEERE niet in het midden van ons? Ons zal geen kwaad overkomen. 12Daarom, om uwentwil, zal Sion als een akker geploegd worden, en Jeruzalem zal tot steenhopen worden, en de berg dezes huizes tot hoogten eens wouds.
