1Lời của Ðức Giê-hô-va phán cho Mi-chê, người Mô-rê-sết, trong ngày Giô-tham, A-cha, và Ê-xê-chia, các vua của Giu-đa, là lời người thấy về Sa-ma-ri và Giê-ru-sa-lem. 2Hỡi hết thảy các dân, hãy nghe! Hỡi đất và mọi vật chứa trên đất, hãy lắng tai! Nguyền xin Chúa Giê-hô-va từ đền thành Ngài, nguyền xin Chúa làm chứng nghịch cùng các ngươi! 3Vì nầy, Ðức Giê-hô-va ra từ chỗ Ngài, xuống và đạp trên các nơi cao của đất. 4Các núi sẽ tan chảy dưới Ngài, các trũng sẽ chia xé; như sáp ở trước lửa, như nước chảy xuống dốc. 5Cả sự đó là vì cớ sự phạm pháp của Gia-cốp, và vì cớ tội lỗi của nhà Y-sơ-ra-ên. Sự phạm pháp của Gia-cốp là gì? Há chẳng phải là Sa-ma-ri sao? Các nơi cao của Giu-đa là gì? Há chẳng phải là Giê-ru-sa-lem sao? 6Vậy nên ta sẽ khiến Sa-ma-ri nên như một đống đổ nát ngoài đồng, như chỗ trồng nho; và sẽ làm cho những đá của nó lăn xuống trũng, và những nền ra trần trụi. 7Hết thảy tượng chạm nó sẽ bị đập bể, hết thảy của hối lộ nó sẽ đốt trong lửa. Ta sẽ làm cho hết thảy thần tượng nó nên hoang vu; vì những đồ mà nó đã dồn chứa bởi tiền công của nghề điếm đĩ, thì nó sẽ dùng những đồ ấy làm tiền công cho đứa điếm đĩ. 8Vậy nên ta sẽ khóc lóc và thở than, cởi áo và đi trần truồng. Ta sẽ kêu gào như chó rừng, và rên siếc như chim đà. 9Vì vết thương của nó không thể chữa được; nó cũng lan ra đến Giu-đa, kịp đến cửa dân ta, tức là đến Giê-ru-sa-lem. 10Chớ rao tai nạn nầy ra trong Gát! Chớ khóc lóc chi hết! Tại Bết-Lê-Áp-ra, ta lăn-lóc trong bụi đất. 11Hỡi dân cư Sa-phi-rơ, hãy ở trần truồng, chịu xấu hổ mà qua đi! Dân cư Xa-a-nan không bước ra. Người Bết-Hê-xen khóc than, làm cho các ngươi mất chỗ đứng chơn. 12Dân cư Ma-rốt lo lắng mà trông đợi phước lành, bởi tai vạ từ Ðức Giê-hô-va sai xuống đã tới cửa Giê-ru-sa-lem. 13Hỡi dân cư La-ki, hãy lấy ngựa chạy mau thắng vào xe! Ấy chính ngươi đã bắt đầu cho con gái Si-ôn phạm tội; vì tội ác của Y-sơ-ra-ên thấy trong ngươi. 14Vậy nên, ngươi sẽ ban lễ vật đưa đường cho Mô-rê-sết-Gát! 1Yahweh’s word that came to Micah the Morashtite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem. 2Hear, you peoples, all of you. Listen, O earth, and all that is therein: and let the Lord Yahweh be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple. 3For, behold, Yahweh comes out of his place, and will come down and tread on the high places of the earth. 4The mountains melt under him, and the valleys split apart, like wax before the fire, like waters that are poured down a steep place. 5“All this is for the disobedience of Jacob, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the disobedience of Jacob? Isn’t it Samaria? And what are the high places of Judah? Aren’t they Jerusalem? 6Therefore I will make Samaria like a rubble heap of the field, like places for planting vineyards; and I will pour down its stones into the valley, and I will uncover its foundations. 7All her idols will be beaten to pieces, and all her temple gifts will be burned with fire, and all her images I will destroy; for of the hire of a prostitute has she gathered them, and to the hire of a prostitute shall they return.” 8For this I will lament and wail; I will go stripped and naked; I will howl like the jackals, and moan like the daughters of owls. 9For her wounds are incurable; for it has come even to Judah. It reaches to the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem. 10Don’t tell it in Gath. Don’t weep at all. At Beth Ophrah I have rolled myself in the dust. 11Pass on, inhabitant of Shaphir, in nakedness and shame. The inhabitant of Zaanan won’t come out. The wailing of Beth Ezel will take from you his protection. 12For the inhabitant of Maroth waits anxiously for good, because evil has come down from Yahweh to the gate of Jerusalem. 13Harness the chariot to the swift steed, inhabitant of Lachish. She was the beginning of sin to the daughter of Zion; For the transgressions of Israel were found in you. 14Therefore you will give a parting gift to Moresheth Gath. The houses of Achzib will be a deceitful thing to the kings of Israel. 15I will yet bring to you, inhabitant of Mareshah. He who is the glory of Israel will come to Adullam. 16Shave your heads, and cut off your hair for the children of your delight. Enlarge your baldness like the vulture; for they have gone into captivity from you!
1Het woord des HEEREN, dat geschied is tot Micha, den Morastiet, in de dagen van Jotham, Achaz en Jehizkia, koningen van Juda; dat hij gezien heeft over Samaria en Jeruzalem. 2Hoort, gij volken altemaal! merk op, gij aarde, mitsgaders derzelver volheid! de Heere HEERE nu zal tot een getuige zijn tegen ulieden, de Heere uit den tempel Zijner heiligheid. 3Want ziet, de HEERE gaat uit van Zijn plaats, en Hij zal nederdalen en treden op de hoogten der aarde. 4En de bergen zullen onder Hem versmelten, en de dalen gekloofd worden, gelijk was voor het vuur, gelijk wateren, die uitgestort worden in de laagte. 5Dit alles, om de overtreding van Jakob, en om de zonden van het huis Israels; wie is het begin van de overtreding van Jakob? Is het niet Samaria? En wie van de hoogten van Juda? Is het niet Jeruzalem? 6Daarom zal Ik Samaria stellen tot een steenhoop des velds, tot plantingen eens wijngaards; en Ik zal haar stenen in de vallei storten, en haar fundamenten ontdekken. 7En al haar gesneden beelden zullen vermorzeld worden, en al haar hoerenbeloningen zullen met vuur verbrand worden, en al haar afgoden zal Ik stellen tot een woestheid; want zij heeft ze van hoerenloon vergaderd, en zij zullen tot hoerenloon wederkeren. 8Hierom zal ik misbaar bedrijven en huilen; ik zal beroofd en naakt gaan; ik zal misbaar maken als de draken, en treuren als de jonge struisen. 9Want haar plagen zijn dodelijk; want zij zijn gekomen tot aan Juda; hij is geraakt tot aan de poort mijns volks, tot aan Jeruzalem. 10Verkondigt het niet te Gath, weent zo jammerlijk niet; wentelt u in het stof in het huis van Afra. 11Ga door, gij inwoneres van Safir! met blote schaamte; de inwoneres van Zaanan gaat niet uit; rouwklage is te Beth-haezel; hij zal zijn stand van ulieden nemen. 12Want de inwoneres van Maroth is krank om des goeds wil; want een kwaad is van den HEERE afgedaald, tot aan de poort van Jeruzalem. 13Span de snelle dieren aan den wagen, gij inwoners van Lachis! (deze is der dochter Sions het beginsel der zonde) want in u zijn Israels overtredingen gevonden. 14Daarom geef geschenken aan Morescheth-Gaths; de huizen van Achzib zullen den koningen van Israel tot een leugen zijn. 15Ik zal u nog een erfgenaam toebrengen, gij inwoneres van Maresa! Hij zal komen tot aan Adullam, tot aan de heerlijkheid Israels. 16Maak u kaal en scheer u, om uw troetelkinderen; verwijd uw kaalheid, als de arend, omdat zij gevankelijk van u zijn weggevoerd.
