1Lần khác, Ðức Chúa Jêsus vào nhà hội, ở đó có một người nam teo bàn tay. 2Chúng rình xem thử Ngài có chữa người đó trong ngày Sa-bát chăng, đặng cáo Ngài. 3Ngài phán cùng người teo tay rằng: hãy dậy, đứng chính giữa đây. 4rồi Ngài hỏi họ rằng: trong ngày Sa-bát, nên làm việc lành hay việc dữ, cứu người hay giết người? Nhưng họ đều nín lặng. 5Bấy giờ, Ngài lấy mắt liếc họ, vừa giận vừa buồn vì lòng họ cứng cỏi, rồi phán cùng người nam rằng: hãy giơ tay ra. Người giơ ra, thì tay được lành. 6Các người Pha-ri-si đi ra, tức thì bàn luận với phe Hê-rốt nghịch cùng Ngài, đặng giết Ngài đi. 7Ðức Chúa Jêsus cùng môn đồ Ngài lánh ra nơi bờ biển, có đoàn dân đông lắm từ xứ Ga-li-lê đến theo Ngài. Từ xứ Giu-đê, 8thành Giê-ru-sa-lem, xứ Y-đu-mê, xứ bên kia sông Giô-đanh, miền xung quanh thành Ty-rơ và thành Si-đôn cũng vậy, dân đông lắm, nghe nói mọi việc Ngài làm, thì đều đến cùng Ngài. 9Bởi cớ dân đông, nên Ngài biểu môn đồ sắm cho mình một chiếc thuyền nhỏ sẵn sàng, đặng cho khỏi bị chúng lấn ép Ngài quá. 10Vì Ngài đã chữa lành nhiều kẻ bịnh, nên nỗi ai nấy có bịnh chi cũng đều áp đến gần để rờ Ngài. 11Khi tà ma thấy Ngài, bèn sấp mình xuống nơi chơn Ngài mà kêu lên rằng: Thầy là Con Ðức Chúa Trời! 12Song Ngài nghiêm cấm chúng nó chớ tỏ cho ai biết mình. 13Kế đó, Ðức Chúa Jêsus lên trên núi, đòi những người Ngài muốn, thì những người ấy đến kề Ngài. 14Ngài bèn lập mười hai người, gọi là sứ đồ, để ở cùng Ngài và sai đi giảng đạo, 15lại ban cho quyền phép đuổi quỉ. 16Nầy là mười hai sứ đồ Ngài đã lập: Si-môn, Ngài đặt tên là Phi -e-rơ; 17Gia-cơ con Xê-bê-đê, và Giăng em Gia-cơ, Ngài đặt tên hai người là Bô-a-nẹt, nghĩa là con trai của sấm sét; 18Anh-rê, Phi-líp, Ba-thê-lê-my, Ma-thi -ơ, Thô-ma, Gia-cơ con A-phê, Tha-đê, Si-môn là người Ca-na-an, 19và Giu-đa Ích-ca-ri-ốt, chính tên nầy đã phản Ngài. 20Ðức Chúa Jêsus cùng môn đồ vào trong một cái nhà; đoàn dân lại nhóm họp tại đó, đến nỗi Ngài và môn đồ không ăn được. 21Những bạn hữu Ngài nghe vậy, bèn đến để cầm giữ Ngài; vì người ta nói Ngài đã mất trí khôn. 22Có các thầy thông giáo ở thành Giê-ru-sa-lem xuống, nói rằng: Người bị quỉ Bê-ên-xê-bun ám, và nhờ phép chúa quỉ mà trừ quỉ. 23Song Ðức Chúa Jêsus kêu họ đến, dùng lời thí dụ mà phán rằng: Sao quỉ Sa-tan đuổi được quỉ Sa-tan? 24Nếu một nước tự chia nhau, thì nước ấy không thể còn được; 25lại nếu một nhà tự chia nhau, thì nhà ấy không thể còn được. 26Vậy, nếu quỉ Sa-tan tự dấy lên nghịch cùng mình, tất nó bị chia xẻ ra, không thể còn được; song nó đã gần đến cùng rồi. 27Chẳng ai có thể vào nhà một người mạnh sức cướp lấy của người, mà trước hết không trói người lại; phải trói người lại, rồi mới cướp nhà người được. 28Quả thật, ta nói cùng các ngươi, mọi tội lỗi sẽ tha cho con cái loài người, và hết thảy những lời phạm thượng họ sẽ nói ra cũng vậy; 29nhưng ai sẽ nói phạm đến Ðức Thánh Linh thì chẳng hề được tha, phải mắc tội đời đời. 30Ngài phán như vậy, vì họ nói rằng: Người bị tà ma ám. 31Mẹ và anh em Ngài đến, đứng ngoài sai kêu Ngài. Ðoàn dân vẫn ngồi chung quanh Ngài. 32Có kẻ thưa rằng: Nầy, mẹ và anh em thầy ở ngoài kia đương tìm thầy. 33Song Ngài phán cùng họ rằng: Ai là mẹ ta, ai là anh em ta? 34Ngài đưa mắt liếc những kẻ ngồi chung quanh mình mà phán rằng: Kìa là mẹ ta và anh em ta! 35Ai làm theo ý muốn Ðức Chúa Trời, nấy là anh em, chị em, và mẹ ta vậy.
1He entered again into the synagogue, and there was a man there who had his hand withered. 2They watched him, whether he would heal him on the Sabbath day, that they might accuse him. 3He said to the man who had his hand withered, “Stand up.” 4He said to them, “Is it lawful on the Sabbath day to do good, or to do harm? To save a life, or to kill?” But they were silent. 5When he had looked around at them with anger, being grieved at the hardening of their hearts, he said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out, and his hand was restored as healthy as the other. 6The Pharisees went out, and immediately conspired with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him. 7Jesus withdrew to the sea with his disciples, and a great multitude followed him from Galilee, from Judea, 8from Jerusalem, from Idumaea, beyond the Jordan, and those from around Tyre and Sidon. A great multitude, hearing what great things he did, came to him. 9He spoke to his disciples that a little boat should stay near him because of the crowd, so that they wouldn’t press on him. 10For he had healed many, so that as many as had diseases pressed on him that they might touch him. 11The unclean spirits, whenever they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, “You are the Son of God!” 12He sternly warned them that they should not make him known. 13He went up into the mountain, and called to himself those whom he wanted, and they went to him. 14He appointed twelve, that they might be with him, and that he might send them out to preach, 15and to have authority to heal sicknesses and to cast out demons: 16Simon, to whom he gave the name Peter; 17James the son of Zebedee; John, the brother of James, and he called them Boanerges, which means, Sons of Thunder; 18Andrew; Philip; Bartholomew; Matthew; Thomas; James, the son of Alphaeus; Thaddaeus; Simon the Zealot; 19and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him. He came into a house. 20The multitude came together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread. 21When his friends heard it, they went out to seize him: for they said, “He is insane.” 22The scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, “He has Beelzebul,” and, “By the prince of the demons he casts out the demons.” 23He summoned them, and said to them in parables, “How can Satan cast out Satan? 24If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. 26If Satan has risen up against himself, and is divided, he can’t stand, but has an end. 27But no one can enter into the house of the strong man to plunder, unless he first binds the strong man; and then he will plunder his house. 28Most certainly I tell you, all sins of the descendants of man will be forgiven, including their blasphemies with which they may blaspheme; 29but whoever may blaspheme against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation.” 30—because they said, “He has an unclean spirit.” 31His mother and his brothers came, and standing outside, they sent to him, calling him. 32A multitude was sitting around him, and they told him, “Behold, your mother, your brothers, and your sisters are outside looking for you.” 33He answered them, “Who are my mother and my brothers?” 34Looking around at those who sat around him, he said, “Behold, my mother and my brothers! 35For whoever does the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.”
1En Hij ging wederom in de synagoge; en aldaar was een mens, hebbende een verdorde hand. 2En zij namen Hem waar, of Hij op den sabbat hem genezen zou, opdat zij Hem beschuldigen mochten. 3En Hij zeide tot den mens, die de verdorde hand had: Sta op in het midden. 4En Hij zeide tot hen: Is het geoorloofd op sabbatdagen goed te doen, of kwaad te doen, een mens te behouden, of te doden? En zij zwegen stil. 5En als Hij hen met toorn rondom aangezien had, meteen bedroefd zijnde over de verharding van hun hart, zeide Hij tot den mens: Strek uw hand uit. En hij strekte ze uit; en zijn hand werd hersteld, gezond gelijk de andere. 6En de Farizeen, uitgegaan zijnde, hebben terstond met de Herodianen te zamen raad gehouden tegen Hem, hoe zij Hem zouden doden. 7En Jezus vertrok met Zijn discipelen naar de zee; en Hem volgde een grote menigte van Galilea, en van Judea. 8En van Jeruzalem, en van Idumea, en van over de Jordaan; en die van omtrent Tyrus en Sidon, een grote menigte, gehoord hebbende, hoe grote dingen Hij deed, kwamen tot Hem. 9En Hij zeide tot Zijn discipelen, dat een scheepje steeds omtrent Hem blijven zou, om der schare wil, opdat zij Hem niet zouden verdringen. 10Want Hij had er velen genezen, alzo dat Hem al degenen, die enige kwalen hadden, overvielen, opdat zij Hem mochten aanraken. 11En de onreine geesten, als zij Hem zagen, vielen voor Hem neder en riepen, zeggende: Gij zijt de Zone Gods. 12En Hij gebood hun scherpelijk dat zij Hem niet zouden openbaar maken. 13En Hij klom op den berg, en riep tot Zich, die Hij wilde; en zij kwamen tot Hem. 14En Hij stelde er twaalf, opdat zij met Hem zouden zijn, en opdat Hij dezelve zou uitzenden om te prediken; 15En om macht te hebben, de ziekten te genezen, en de duivelen uit te werpen. 16En Simon gaf Hij den toe naam Petrus; 17En Jakobus, den zoon van Zebedeus, en Johannes, den broeder van Jakobus; en gaf hun toe namen, Boanerges, hetwelk is, zonen des donders; 18En Andreas, en Filippus, en Bartholomeus, en Mattheus, en Thomas, en Jakobus, den zoon van Alfeus, en Thaddeus, en Simon Kananites, 19En Judas Iskariot, die Hem ook verraden heeft. 20En zij kwamen in huis; en daar vergaderde wederom en schare, alzo dat zij ook zelfs niet konden brood eten. 21En als degenen, die Hem bestonden, dit hoorden, gingen zij uit, om Hem vast te houden; want zij zeiden: Hij is buiten Zijn zinnen. 22En de Schriftgeleerden, die van Jeruzalem afgekomen waren, zeiden: Hij heeft Beelzebul, en door den overste der duivelen werpt Hij de duivelen uit. 23En hen tot Zich geroepen hebbende, zeide Hij tot hen in gelijkenissen: Hoe kan de satan den satan uitwerpen? 24En indien een koninkrijk tegen zichzelf verdeeld is, zo kan dat koninkrijk niet bestaan. 25En indien een huis tegen zichzelf verdeeld is, zo kan dat huis niet bestaan. 26En indien de satan tegen zichzelven opstaat, en verdeeld is, zo kan hij niet bestaan, maar heeft een einde. 27Er kan niemand in het huis eens sterken ingaan en zijn vaten ontroven, indien hij niet eerst den sterke bindt; en alsdan zal hij zijn huis beroven. 28Voorwaar, Ik zeg u, dat al de zonden den kinderen der mensen zullen vergeven worden, en allerlei lasteringen, waarmede zij zullen gelasterd hebben; 29Maar zo wie zal gelasterd hebben tegen den Heiligen Geest, die heeft geen vergeving in der eeuwigheid, maar hij is schuldig des eeuwigen oordeels. 30Want zij zeiden: Hij heeft een onreinen geest. 31Zo kwamen dan Zijn broeders en Zijn moeder; en buiten staande, zonden zij tot Hem, en riepen Hem. 32En de schare zat rondom Hem; en zij zeiden tot Hem: Zie, Uw moeder en Uw broeders daar buiten zoeken U. 33En Hij antwoordde hun, zeggende: Wie is Mijn moeder, of Mijn broeders? 34En rondom overzien hebbende, die om Hem zaten, zeide Hij: Ziet, Mijn moeder en Mijn broeders. 35Want zo wie den wil van God doet, die is Mijn broeder, en Mijn zuster, en moeder.
