1Ðức Giê-hô-va lại phán cùng Môi-se rằng: 2Hãy nói cùng dân Y-sơ-ra-ên rằng: Khi nào ai lầm lỡ mà phạm một trong các điều răn của Ðức Giê-hô-va, và làm điều chẳng nên làm; 3nếu là thầy tế lễ chịu xức dầu rồi mà phạm tội, và vì cớ đó gây cho dân sự phải mắc tội, thì vì tội mình đã phạm, người phải dâng cho Ðức Giê-hô-va một con bò tơ không tì vít chi, đặng làm của lễ chuộc tội. 4Người sẽ dẫn bò tơ đó đến cửa hội mạc trước mặt Ðức Giê-hô-va, nhận tay mình trên đầu nó, rồi giết nó trước mặt Ðức Giê-hô-va. 5Thầy tế lễ chịu xức dầu rồi sẽ lấy huyết bò tơ đem vào trong hội mạc, 6nhúng ngón tay mình trong huyết, rảy bảy lần trước mặt Ðức Giê-hô-va, đối ngang bức màn nơi đền thánh. 7Ðoạn, thầy tế lễ sẽ bôi huyết trên các sừng của bàn thờ xông hương ở trong hội mạc, trước mặt Ðức Giê-hô-va, và đổ hết thảy huyết bò tơ nơi chân bàn thờ về của lễ thiêu, để trước cửa hội mạc. 8Người phải gỡ những mỡ của con bò dùng làm của lễ chuộc tội, tức là mỡ chài và mỡ bộ lòng, 9hai trái cật, mỡ trên hai trái cật nơi cạnh hông, tấm da mỏng bọc gan, gỡ gần nơi hai trái cật, 10như gỡ các phần nầy của bò tơ dùng làm của lễ thù ân; rồi thầy tế lễ sẽ xông các món đó trên bàn thờ về của lễ thiêu. 11Còn da, hết thảy thịt, đầu, giò, bộ lòng và phẩn, 12tức con bò tơ nguyên, người phải đem ra khỏi trại quân đến một nơi tinh sạch, là chỗ họ đổ tro, rồi chất trên củi nơi lửa và thiêu nó đi: tức là thiêu nó tại chỗ đổ tro vậy. 13Nếu cả hội chúng Y-sơ-ra-ên vì lầm lỡ phạm một trong các điều răn của Ðức Giê-hô-va, và làm điều không nên làm, mà vốn không tự biết, và vì cớ đó phải mắc tội; 14nếu tội phạm ấy vừa mới lộ ra, thì hội chúng phải dâng một con bò tơ đặng làm của lễ chuộc tội, dẫn nó đến trước hội mạc. 15Các hội trưởng phải nhận tay mình trên đầu bò tơ, rồi giết nó trước mặt Ðức Giê-hô-va; 16thầy tế lễ chịu xức dầu rồi sẽ đem huyết con bò tơ vào hội mạc, 17nhúng ngón tay mình trong huyết, rảy bảy lần trước mặt Ðức Giê-hô-va, đối ngang bức màn. 18Ðoạn, người sẽ bôi huyết trên các sừng của bàn thờ trong hội mạc trước mặt Ðức Giê-hô-va, rồi đổ huyết hết dưới chân bàn thờ về của lễ thiêu, để trước cửa hội mạc. 19Người cũng gỡ hết thảy mỡ đem xông trên bàn thờ. 20Cách dâng con bò tơ nầy cũng như cách dâng con bò dùng làm lễ chuộc tội: ấy vậy, thầy tế lễ sẽ chuộc tội cho hội chúng và tội hội chúng sẽ được tha. 21Ðoạn, người phải đem con bò tơ đó ra ngoài trại quân, thiêu đi như đã thiêu con bò tơ trước: ấy là của lễ chuộc tội cho hội chúng. 22Ví bằng một quan trưởng nào, vì lẫm lỡ phạm một trong các điều răn của Ðức Giê-hô-va, là Ðức Chúa Trời mình, mà làm điều không nên làm, và vì cớ đó mắc tội; 23khi nào người ta tỏ ra cho quan trưởng đó biết tội mình đã phạm, thì người phải dẫn đến làm của lễ mình, một con dê đực không tì vít chi, 24nhận tay mình trên đầu dê đực đó, rồi giết nó trước mặt Ðức Giê-hô-va tại nơi giết các con sinh dùng làm của lễ thiêu: ấy là của lễ chuộc tội. 25Thầy tế lễ sẽ nhúng ngón tay mình trong huyết của con sinh tế chuộc tội, bôi trên các sừng bàn thờ về của lễ thiêu, và đổ huyết dưới chân bàn thờ; 26đoạn xông hết mỡ trên bàn thờ như cách xông mỡ về của lễ thù ân. Ấy vậy, thầy tế lễ sẽ chuộc tội cho người, và tội người sẽ được tha. 27Nếu một người nào trong dân chúng, vì lẫm lỡ phạm một trong các điều răn của Ðức Giê-hô-va mà làm điều không nên làm, và vì cớ đó phải mắc tội; 28khi nào người ta tỏ cho người đó biết tội mình đã phạm, thì người phải vì cớ tội mình dẫn đến một con dê cái không tì vít chi, dùng làm của lễ, 29nhận tay mình trên đầu con sinh tế chuộc tội, rồi giết nó trong nơi giết con sinh dùng làm của lễ thiêu. 30Thầy tế lễ sẽ nhúng ngón tay mình trong huyết, bôi trên các sừng bàn thờ về của lễ thiêu, và đổ hết huyết dưới chân bàn thờ; 31rồi, gỡ hết mỡ như cách gỡ mỡ về của lễ thù ân, đem xông trên bàn thờ, làm của lễ có mùi thơm dâng cho Ðức Giê-hô-va. Ấy vậy, thầy tế lễ sẽ chuộc tội cho người đó, thì tội người sẽ được tha. 32Nếu của lễ chuộc tội người bằng chiên con, thì phải dâng một con cái chẳng tì vít chi, 33nhận tay mình trên đầu con sinh tế chuộc tội, rồi giết nó tại nơi giết con sinh dùng làm của lễ thiêu. 34Ðoạn, thầy tế lễ sẽ nhúng ngón tay mình trong huyết, bôi trên các sừng bàn thờ về của lễ thiêu, và đổ hết huyết dưới chân bàn thờ; 35gỡ hết mỡ như cách gỡ mỡ của chiên con dùng làm của lễ thù ân, đem xông trên bàn thờ như các của lễ dùng lửa dâng cho Ðức Giê-hô-va. Ấy vậy, thầy tế lễ sẽ chuộc tội cho người đó, thì tội người sẽ được tha.
1Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 2“Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘If anyone sins unintentionally, in any of the things which Yahweh has commanded not to be done, and does any one of them: 3if the anointed priest sins so as to bring guilt on the people, then let him offer for his sin, which he has sinned, a young bull without defect to Yahweh for a sin offering. 4He shall bring the bull to the door of the Tent of Meeting before Yahweh; and he shall lay his hand on the head of the bull, and kill the bull before Yahweh. 5The anointed priest shall take some of the blood of the bull, and bring it to the Tent of Meeting. 6The priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle some of the blood seven times before Yahweh, before the veil of the sanctuary. 7The priest shall put some of the blood on the horns of the altar of sweet incense before Yahweh, which is in the Tent of Meeting; and he shall pour out all of rest of the blood of the bull at the base of the altar of burnt offering, which is at the door of the Tent of Meeting. 8He shall take all the fat of the bull of the sin offering off of it; the fat that covers the innards, and all the fat that is on the innards, 9and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the loins, and the cover on the liver, with the kidneys, he shall take away, 10as it is taken off of the bull of the sacrifice of peace offerings. The priest shall burn them on the altar of burnt offering. 11The bull’s skin, all its flesh, with its head, and with its legs, its innards, and its dung, 12he shall carry the whole bull outside of the camp to a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn it on wood with fire. Where the ashes are poured out, it shall be burned. 13“‘If the whole congregation of Israel sins, and the thing is hidden from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done any of the things which Yahweh has commanded not to be done, and are guilty; 14when the sin in which they have sinned is known, then the assembly shall offer a young bull for a sin offering, and bring it before the Tent of Meeting. 15The elders of the congregation shall lay their hands on the head of the bull before Yahweh; and the bull shall be killed before Yahweh. 16The anointed priest shall bring of the blood of the bull to the Tent of Meeting: 17and the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle it seven times before Yahweh, before the veil. 18He shall put some of the blood on the horns of the altar which is before Yahweh, that is in the Tent of Meeting; and the rest of the blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar of burnt offering, which is at the door of the Tent of Meeting. 19All its fat he shall take from it, and burn it on the altar. 20Thus shall he do with the bull; as he did with the bull of the sin offering, so shall he do with this; and the priest shall make atonement for them, and they shall be forgiven. 21He shall carry the bull outside the camp, and burn it as he burned the first bull. It is the sin offering for the assembly. 22“‘When a ruler sins, and unwittingly does any one of all the things which Yahweh his God has commanded not to be done, and is guilty; 23if his sin, in which he has sinned, is made known to him, he shall bring as his offering a goat, a male without defect. 24He shall lay his hand on the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt offering before Yahweh. It is a sin offering. 25The priest shall take some of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it on the horns of the altar of burnt offering. He shall pour out the rest of its blood at the base of the altar of burnt offering. 26All its fat he shall burn on the altar, like the fat of the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin, and he will be forgiven. 27“‘If anyone of the common people sins unwittingly, in doing any of the things which Yahweh has commanded not to be done, and is guilty; 28if his sin, which he has sinned, is made known to him, then he shall bring for his offering a goat, a female without defect, for his sin which he has sinned. 29He shall lay his hand on the head of the sin offering, and kill the sin offering in the place of burnt offering. 30The priest shall take some of its blood with his finger, and put it on the horns of the altar of burnt offering; and the rest of its blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar. 31All its fat he shall take away, like the fat is taken away from off of the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall burn it on the altar for a pleasant aroma to Yahweh; and the priest shall make atonement for him, and he will be forgiven. 32“‘If he brings a lamb as his offering for a sin offering, he shall bring a female without defect. 33He shall lay his hand on the head of the sin offering, and kill it for a sin offering in the place where they kill the burnt offering. 34The priest shall take some of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it on the horns of the altar of burnt offering; and all the rest of its blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar. 35All its fat he shall take away, like the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them on the altar, on the offerings of Yahweh made by fire; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin that he has sinned, and he will be forgiven.

en van dat bloed zal hij zevenmaal sprengen voor het aangezicht des HEEREN, voor den voorhang van het heilige. 7Ook zal de priester van dat bloed doen op de hoornen des reukaltaars der welriekende specerijen, voor het aangezicht des HEEREN, dat in de tent der samenkomst is; dan zal hij al het bloed van den var uitgieten aan den bodem van het altaar des brandoffers, hetwelk is aan de deur van de tent der samenkomst. 8Verder, al het vet van den var des zondoffers zal hij daarvan opnemen; het vet bedekkende het ingewand, en al het vet, dat aan het ingewand is; 9Daartoe de twee nieren, en het vet, dat daaraan is, dat aan de weekdarmen is, en het net over de lever, met de nieren, zal hij afnemen; 10Gelijk als het van den os des dankoffers opgenomen wordt; en de priester zal die aansteken op het altaar des brandoffers. 11Maar de huid van dien var, en al zijn vlees, met zijn hoofd en met zijn schenkelen, en zijn ingewand, en zijn mest; 12En dien gehele var zal hij tot buiten het leger uitvoeren, aan een reine plaats, waar men de as uitstort, en zal hem met vuur op het hout verbranden; bij de uitgegoten as zal hij verbrand worden. 13Indien nu de gehele vergadering van Israel afgedwaald zal zijn, en de zaak voor de ogen der gemeente verborgen is, en zij iets gedaan zullen hebben tegen enige van allen geboden des HEEREN, dat niet zoude gedaan worden, en zijn schuldig geworden; 14En die zonde, die zij daartegen gezondigd zullen hebben, bekend is geworden; zo zal de gemeente een var, een jong rund, ten zondoffer offeren, en dien voor de tent der samenkomst brengen; 15En de oudsten der vergadering zullen hun handen op het hoofd van den var leggen, voor het aangezicht des HEEREN; en hij zal den var slachten voor het aangezicht des HEEREN. 16Daarna zal die gezalfde priester van het bloed van den var tot de tent der samenkomst brengen. 17En de priester zal zijn vinger indopen, nemende van dat bloed; en hij zal zevenmaal sprengen voor het aangezicht des HEEREN, voor den voorhang. 18En van dat bloed zal hij doen op de hoornen van het altaar, dat voor het aangezicht des HEEREN is, dat in de tent der samenkomst is; dan zal hij al het bloed uitgieten, aan den bodem van het altaar des brandoffers, hetwelk is voor de deur van de tent der samenkomst. 19Daartoe zal hij al zijn vet van hem opnemen, en op het altaar aansteken. 20En hij zal dezen var doen, gelijk als hij den var des zondoffers gedaan heeft, alzo zal hij hem doen; en de priester zal voor hen verzoening doen, en het zal hun vergeven worden. 21Daarna zal hij dien var tot buiten het leger uitvoeren, en zal hem verbranden, gelijk als hij den eersten var verbrand heeft; het is een zondoffer der gemeente. 22Als een overste zal gezondigd hebben, en tegen een van de geboden des HEEREN zijns Gods, door afdwaling, gedaan zal hebben, hetwelk niet zou gedaan worden, zodat hij schuldig is; 23Of men zijn zonde, die hij daartegen gezondigd heeft, aan hem zal bekend gemaakt hebben; zo zal hij tot zijn offer brengen een geitenbok, een volkomen mannetje. 24En hij zal zijn hand op het hoofd van den bok leggen, en zal hem slachten in de plaats, waar men het brandoffer slacht voor het aangezicht des HEEREN; het is een zondoffer. 25Daarna zal de priester van het bloed des zondoffers met zijn vinger nemen, en dat op de hoornen van het altaar des brandoffers doen; dan zal hij zijn bloed aan den bodem van het altaar des brandoffers uitgieten. 26Hij zal ook al zijn vet op het altaar aansteken, gelijk het vet des dankoffers; zo zal de priester voor hem verzoening doen van zijn zonden, en het zal hem vergeven worden. 27En zo enig mens van het volk des lands door afdwaling zal gezondigd hebben, dewijl hij iets doet tegen een van de geboden des HEEREN, dat niet gedaan zou worden, zodat hij schuldig is; 28Of men zijn zonde, die hij gezondigd heeft, aan hem zal bekend gemaakt hebben; zo zal hij tot zijn offerande brengen een jonge geit, een volkomen wijfje, voor zijn zonde, die hij gezondigd heeft. 29En hij zal zijn hand op het hoofd des zondoffers leggen; en men zal dat zondoffer slachten in de plaats des brandoffers. 30Daarna zal de priester van haar bloed met zijn vinger nemen, en doen het op de hoornen van het altaar des brandoffers; dan zal hij al het bloed daarvan aan den bodem van dat altaar uitgieten. 31En al haar vet zal hij afnemen, gelijk als het vet van het dankoffer afgenomen wordt, en de priester zal het aansteken op het altaar, tot een liefelijken reuk den HEERE; en de priester zal voor hem verzoening doen, en het zal hem vergeven worden. 32Maar zo hij een lam voor zijn offerande ten zondoffer brengt, het zal een volkomen wijfje zijn, dat hij brengt. 33En hij zal zijn hand op het hoofd des zondoffers leggen, en hij zal dat slachten tot een zondoffer, in de plaats, waar men het brandoffer slacht. 34Daarna zal de priester van het bloed des zondoffers met zijn vinger nemen, en zal het doen op de hoornen van het altaar des brandoffers; dan zal hij al het bloed daarvan aan den bodem van dat altaar uitgieten. 35En al het vet daarvan zal hij afnemen, gelijk als het vet van het lam des dankoffers afgenomen wordt, en de priester zal die aansteken op het altaar, op de vuurofferen des HEEREN; en de priester zal voor hem verzoening doen over zijn zonde, die hij gezondigd heeft, en het zal hem vergeven worden.
