1Ðức Giê-hô-va lại phán cùng Môi-se và A-rôn rằng: 2Khi một người nào da trên mình nổi sưng, mụt lở, hoặc một đém trắng, dường sẽ trở thành trên da mình một vít phung, thì người ta phải dẫn người đó đến thầy tế lễ A-rôn, hay là đến một trong các con trai người là những thầy tế lễ. 3Thầy tế lễ sẽ khám vít ở trên da thân người; nếu lông vít đó đã trở thành trắng, và nếu vít hủng xuống sâu hơn da thân mình, ấy là một vít phung: thầy tế lễ khám rồi sẽ định người nầy là ô uế. 4Còn nếu có một đém trắng trên da thân người, đém không sủng xuống sâu hơn da, và nếu lông không trở thành trắng, thì thầy tế lễ phải giam người đó trong bảy ngày. 5Qua ngày thứ bảy, thầy tế lễ sẽ khám người, nếu vít đó ngừng lại, không ăn lan trên da, thì phải giam người một lần thứ nhì bảy ngày nữa. 6Qua ngày thứ bảy, thầy tế lễ sẽ khám người lại; nếu vít đó đã tái, không ăn lan trên da, thì thầy tế lễ sẽ định người đó là tinh sạch; ấy là mụt lở mà thôi. Người đó phải giặt áo xống mình, thì sẽ được tinh sạch. 7Nhưng nếu sau khi người đã đến trước mặt thầy tế lễ để được định là tinh sạch, mụt lở còn phát lại trên da, thì người phải đến thầy tế lễ một lần thứ nhì. 8Thầy tế lễ sẽ khám cho, nếu mụt lở đã ăn lan trên da thì phải định người là ô uế; ấy là bịnh phung vậy. 9Khi có một vít phung trên người nào, thì phải dẫn người đó đi tỏ mình cùng thầy tế lễ. 10Thầy tế lễ khám cho; nếu có nổi sưng sắc trắng trên da làm cho lông trở thành trắng, và có một lằn thịt chín đó nơi chỗ sưng đó, 11ấy là bịnh phung thâm niên trong da của thân người, thầy tế lễ sẽ định người là ô uế, không nên giam họ, vì đã bị ô uế rồi. 12Còn nếu phung lở trên da, bao phủ hết da của người có vít đó, từ đầu chí chân, khắp nơi nào thầy tế lễ dòm thấy được, 13thì thầy tế lễ phải khám cho; nếu phung bao phủ cùng hết thịt, thì sẽ định người có vít là tinh sạch; người đã hóa trắng cùng mình, nên được tinh sạch vậy. 14Nhưng ngày nào phát ra thịt chín đỏ, thì người bị ô uế. 15Khi thầy tế lễ thấy thịt chín đỏ thì phải định người là ô uế; thịt chín đỏ là ô uế; ấy là bịnh phung vậy. 16Nhưng nếu thịt chín đỏ thay đi, hóa ra trắng, thì người phải đi tỏ mình cùng thầy tế lễ; 17thầy tế lễ khám cho, và nếu vít đã trở thành trắng, thì phải định người có vít là tinh sạch, vì đã được tinh sạch rồi. 18Khi một người nào trên da thân mình có mụt chốc đã chữa lành, 19và tại chỗ mụt chốc có nổi sưng sắc trắng hay là một đém trắng hồng, thì người đó phải đi tỏ mình cùng thầy tế lễ; 20thầy tế lễ khám cho; nếu cái đém hủng sâu hơn da, và nếu lông trở thành trắng, thì thầy tế lễ phải định người là ô uế; ấy là một vít phung đã lở trong mụt chốc vậy. 21Còn nếu thầy tế lễ khám, không thấy lông trắng trong chỗ đém, không hủng sâu hơn da, và thấy đã trở thành tái, thì hãy giam người đó trong bảy ngày. 22Nều đém ăn lan trên da thì thầy tế lễ phải định người là ô uế; ấy là một vít phung vậy. 23Còn nếu vít cầm cự một chỗ, không ăn lan ra, ấy là thẹo của mụt chốc; thầy tế lễ phải định người là tinh sạch. 24Khi người nào bị phỏng lửa trên da, và dấu phỏng là một đém trắng hồng hay là trắng, 25thì thầy tế lễ khám cho; nếu trong đém lông trở thành trắng, và nếu đém hủng sâu hơn da, ấy là bịnh phung lở trong mụt phỏng vậy. Thầy tế lễ phải định người là tinh sạch, vì là thẹo phỏng lửa. 29Khi nào một người nam hay nữ có vít trên đầu, hoặc nơi râu, 30thì thầy tế lễ khám vít đó. Nếu vít hủng sâu hơn da, có lông nhỏ vàng vàng, thì thầy tế lễ phải định người ra ô uế; ấy là tật đòng đanh, tức là bịnh phung của đầu hay là của râu. 31Còn nếu khi thầy tế lễ khám vít đòng đanh, thấy vít không hủng sâu hơn da, và không thấy có lông đen, thì phải giam người có vít đòng đanh trong bảy ngày. 32Qua ngày thứ bảy thầy tế lễ khám vít; nếu đòng đanh không ăn lan ra, không có lông vàng vàng, và không hủng sâu hơn da, 33thì người đó phải cạo gọt, nhưng không nên cạo gọt chỗ vít đòng đanh, rồi thầy tế lễ sẽ giam người một lần thứ nhì bảy ngày nữa. 34Ðoạn ngày thứ bảy, thầy tế lễ khám cho; nếu đòng đanh không ăn lan trên da, không hủng sâu hơn da, thì thầy tế lễ phải định người là tinh sạch; kẻ bịnh phải giặt áo xống mình, thì sẽ được tinh sạch. 35Nhưng nếu sau khi người đã được định là tinh sạch, đòng đanh lại còn ăn lan trên da, thì thầy tế lễ phải khám cho. 36Nếu đòng đanh đã ăn lan trên da rồi, thầy tế lễ không cần tìm thấy lông vàng vàng, người đã bị ô uế. 37Nhưng nếu đòng đanh xem bộ ngừng lại, và đã lố mọc lông đen, đòng đanh đã lành: người đã được tinh sạch, và thầy tế lễ phải định người là tinh sạch. 38Khi nào người nam hãy nữ trên da thân mình có những đém trắng, 39thầy tế lễ sẽ khám cho. Nếu trên da thân người có những đém trắng xanh, ấy là một đém trắng lở trên da mà thôi: người vẫn tinh sạch. 40Khi một người nào đầu rụng tóc, ấy là một người sói đầu: người vẫn tinh sạch. 41Nếu người rụng tóc về phía mặt, ấy là một người sói trán: người vẫn tinh sạch. 42Còn nếu trong chỗ sói phía trước hay là phía sau có một vít trắng hồng, ấy là bịnh phung lở ra ở chỗ sói phía trước hay là phía sau. 43Thầy tế lễ phải khám cho; nếu nơi sưng của vít trong chỗ sói phía trước hay là phía sau có màu trắng hồng, giống như bịnh phung tại da của thân người, 44thì người nầy bị phung, thầy tế lễ sẽ định người là ô uế; vít người ở nơi đầu. 45Vả, người đã bị vít phung rồi phải xé quần áo, đầu trần, che râu lại la rằng: Ô-uế! Ô-uế! 46Trọn lúc nào người có vít, thì sẽ bị ô uế, phải ở một mình ngoài trại quân. 47Khi nào lên mốc trên quần áo, như vít phung, bất luận trên quần áo bằng lông chiên hay quần áo bằng vải gai, 48trên canh hay trên chỉ bằng gai, hoặc bằng lông chiên, trên da hay là trên món nào bằng da; 49nếu vít đó màu xanh xanh hay đỏ đỏ, trên quần áo hoặc trên da, trên canh hoặc trên chỉ hay là trên món nào bằng da, thì phải coi như bịnh phung, đem đến tỏ cho thầy tế lễ. 50Thầy tế lễ sẽ khám cho, và giam món có vít ấy trong bảy ngày. 51Qua ngày thứ bảy, thầy tế lễ khám vít lại; nếu vít ăn lan trên quần áo, trên canh hay chỉ, trên da hay trên món chi bằng da, thì phải coi như bịnh phung ăn luồn; món đó bị ô uế. 52Vậy, người phải đốt quần áo, canh hay chỉ bằng lông chiên hoặc bằng gai, hoặc các món chi làm bằng da, ở trên nó mà đã bị vít, vì là một bịnh phung ăn ruồng: phải thiêu đi. 53Còn nếu thầy tế lễ khám, chẳng thấy vít đó ăn lan trên quần áo, trên canh hay trên chỉ, hoặc các món chi làm bằng da, 54thì người hãy biểu họ đem giặt món có vít đó đi, rồi giam nó một lần thứ nhì trong bảy ngày nữa. 55Khi giặt rồi, thầy tế lễ sẽ khám lại, nếu vít đó không phai màu và cũng chẳng ăn lan ra, thì món đó là ô uế: ngươi hãy đem thiêu đi, vì là một thứ vít mốc ăn vào bề trái hay là bề mặt. 56Còn nếu sau khi giặt rồi, thầy tế lễ thấy vít đã tái, thì phải gỡ nó khỏi quần áo, da, canh hay chỉ đi. 57Nếu vít mốc còn ló lên lại trên quần áo, trên canh hay chỉ, hoặc trên món chi bằng da, thì phải coi như một vít phung, và thiêu món có vít đó đi. 58Nhưng quần áo, canh hay chỉ, hoặc món nào bằng da mà ngươi đã giặt, và vít đã lặn rồi, thì hãy đem giặt một lần thứ nhì nữa, đoạn sẽ được tinh sạch. 59Ðó là luật lệ về vít lên mốc như phung trên quần áo bằng lông chiên hay bằng vải gai, trên canh hay chỉ, hoặc trên món chi bằng da, chiếu theo luật lệ đó là phải định là tinh sạch hay là ô uế.
1Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying, 2“When a man shall have a rising in his body’s skin, or a scab, or a bright spot, and it becomes in the skin of his body the plague of leprosy, then he shall be brought to Aaron the priest, or to one of his sons, the priests: 3and the priest shall examine the plague in the skin of the body: and if the hair in the plague has turned white, and the appearance of the plague is deeper than the body’s skin, it is the plague of leprosy; and the priest shall examine him, and pronounce him unclean. 4If the bright spot is white in the skin of his body, and its appearance isn’t deeper than the skin, and its hair hasn’t turned white, then the priest shall isolate the infected person for seven days. 5The priest shall examine him on the seventh day, and, behold, if in his eyes the plague is arrested, and the plague hasn’t spread in the skin, then the priest shall isolate him for seven more days. 6The priest shall examine him again on the seventh day; and behold, if the plague has faded, and the plague hasn’t spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean. It is a scab. He shall wash his clothes, and be clean. 7But if the scab spreads on the skin, after he has shown himself to the priest for his cleansing, he shall show himself to the priest again. 8The priest shall examine him; and behold, if the scab has spread on the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is leprosy. 9“When the plague of leprosy is in a man, then he shall be brought to the priest; 10and the priest shall examine him. Behold, if there is a white rising in the skin, and it has turned the hair white, and there is raw flesh in the rising, 11it is a chronic leprosy in the skin of his body, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean. He shall not isolate him, for he is already unclean. 12“If the leprosy breaks out all over the skin, and the leprosy covers all the skin of the infected person from his head even to his feet, as far as it appears to the priest; 13then the priest shall examine him; and, behold, if the leprosy has covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce him clean of the plague. It has all turned white: he is clean. 14But whenever raw flesh appears in him, he shall be unclean. 15The priest shall examine the raw flesh, and pronounce him unclean: the raw flesh is unclean. It is leprosy. 16Or if the raw flesh turns again, and is changed to white, then he shall come to the priest; 17and the priest shall examine him; and, behold, if the plague has turned white, then the priest shall pronounce him clean of the plague. He is clean. 18“When the body has a boil on its skin, and it has healed, 19and in the place of the boil there is a white rising, or a bright spot, reddish-white, then it shall be shown to the priest; 20and the priest shall examine it; and behold, if its appearance is lower than the skin, and its hair has turned white, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is the plague of leprosy. It has broken out in the boil. 21But if the priest examines it, and behold, there are no white hairs in it, and it isn’t deeper than the skin, but is dim, then the priest shall isolate him seven days. 22If it spreads in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is a plague. 23But if the bright spot stays in its place, and hasn’t spread, it is the scar from the boil; and the priest shall pronounce him clean. 24“Or when the body has a burn from fire on its skin, and the raw flesh of the burn becomes a bright spot, reddish-white, or white, 25then the priest shall examine it; and behold, if the hair in the bright spot has turned white, and its appearance is deeper than the skin; it is leprosy. It has broken out in the burning, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is the plague of leprosy. 26But if the priest examines it, and behold, there is no white hair in the bright spot, and it isn’t lower than the skin, but is faded; then the priest shall isolate him seven days. 27The priest shall examine him on the seventh day. If it has spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is the plague of leprosy. 28If the bright spot stays in its place, and hasn’t spread in the skin, but is faded, it is the swelling from the burn, and the priest shall pronounce him clean; for it is the scar from the burn. 29“When a man or woman has a plague on the head or on the beard, 30then the priest shall examine the plague; and behold, if its appearance is deeper than the skin, and the hair in it is yellow and thin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is an itch, it is leprosy of the head or of the beard. 31If the priest examines the plague of itching, and behold, its appearance isn’t deeper than the skin, and there is no black hair in it, then the priest shall isolate the person infected with itching seven days. 32On the seventh day the priest shall examine the plague; and behold, if the itch hasn’t spread, and there is no yellow hair in it, and the appearance of the itch isn’t deeper than the skin, 33then he shall be shaved, but he shall not shave the itch; and the priest shall shut him up who has the itch seven more days. 34On the seventh day, the priest shall examine the itch; and behold, if the itch hasn’t spread in the skin, and its appearance isn’t deeper than the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean. He shall wash his clothes, and be clean. 35But if the itch spreads in the skin after his cleansing, 36then the priest shall examine him; and behold, if the itch has spread in the skin, the priest shall not look for the yellow hair; he is unclean. 37But if in his eyes the itch is arrested, and black hair has grown in it; the itch is healed, he is clean. The priest shall pronounce him clean. 38“When a man or a woman has bright spots in the skin of the body, even white bright spots; 39then the priest shall examine them; and behold, if the bright spots on the skin of their body are a dull white, it is a harmless rash, it has broken out in the skin; he is clean. 40“If a man’s hair has fallen from his head, he is bald. He is clean. 41If his hair has fallen off from the front part of his head, he is forehead bald. He is clean. 42But if there is in the bald head, or the bald forehead, a reddish-white plague; it is leprosy breaking out in his bald head, or his bald forehead. 43Then the priest shall examine him; and, behold, if the rising of the plague is reddish-white in his bald head, or in his bald forehead, like the appearance of leprosy in the skin of the flesh, 44he is a leprous man. He is unclean. The priest shall surely pronounce him unclean. His plague is on his head. 45“The leper in whom the plague is shall wear torn clothes, and the hair of his head shall hang loose. He shall cover his upper lip, and shall cry, ‘Unclean! Unclean!’ 46All the days in which the plague is in him he shall be unclean. He is unclean. He shall dwell alone. Outside of the camp shall be his dwelling. 47“The garment also that the plague of leprosy is in, whether it is a woolen garment, or a linen garment; 48whether it is in warp, or woof; of linen, or of wool; whether in a skin, or in anything made of skin; 49if the plague is greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the skin, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything made of skin; it is the plague of leprosy, and shall be shown to the priest. 50The priest shall examine the plague, and isolate the plague seven days. 51He shall examine the plague on the seventh day. If the plague has spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in the skin, whatever use the skin is used for, the plague is a destructive mildew. It is unclean. 52He shall burn the garment, whether the warp or the woof, in wool or in linen, or anything of skin, in which the plague is: for it is a destructive mildew. It shall be burned in the fire. 53“If the priest examines it, and behold, the plague hasn’t spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything of skin; 54then the priest shall command that they wash the thing in which the plague is, and he shall isolate it seven more days. 55Then the priest shall examine it, after the plague is washed; and behold, if the plague hasn’t changed its color, and the plague hasn’t spread, it is unclean; you shall burn it in the fire. It is a mildewed spot, whether the bareness is inside or outside. 56If the priest looks, and behold, the plague has faded after it is washed, then he shall tear it out of the garment, or out of the skin, or out of the warp, or out of the woof: 57and if it appears again in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything of skin, it is spreading. You shall burn with fire that in which the plague is. 58The garment, either the warp, or the woof, or whatever thing of skin it is, which you shall wash, if the plague has departed from them, then it shall be washed the second time, and it will be clean.” 59This is the law of the plague of mildew in a garment of wool or linen, either in the warp, or the woof, or in anything of skin, to pronounce it clean, or to pronounce it unclean.

zo het haar in die plaag in wit veranderd is, en het aanzien der plaag dieper is dan het vel zijns vleses, het is de plaag der melaatsheid; als de priester hem bezien zal hebben, dan zal hij hem onrein verklaren. 4Maar zo de blaar in het vel zijn vleses wit is, en haar aanzien niet dieper is dan het vel, en het haar niet in wit veranderd is, zo zal de priester hem, die de plaag heeft, zeven dagen opsluiten. 5Daarna zal de priester op den zevenden dag hem bezien; het is melaatsheid. 9Wanneer de plaag der melaatsheid in een mens zal zijn, zo zal hij tot den priester gebracht worden. 10Indien de priester merken zal, dat, ziet, een wit gezwel in het vel is, hetwelk het haar in wit veranderd heeft, en gezondheid van levend vlees in dat gezwel is; 11Dat is een verouderde melaatsheid in het vel zijns vleses; daarom zal hem de priester onrein verklaren; hij zal hem niet doen opsluiten, want hij is onrein. 12En zo de melaatsheid in het vel ganselijk uitbot, en de melaatsheid het gehele vel desgenen, die de plaag heeft, van zijn hoofd tot zijn voeten, bedekt heeft, naar al het gezicht van de ogen des priesters; 13En de priester merken zal, dat, ziet, de melaatsheid zijn gehele vlees bedekt heeft, zo zal hij hem, die de plaag heeft, rein verklaren; zij is geheel in wit veranderd; hij is rein. 14Maar ten welken dage levend vlees daarin gezien zal worden, zal hij onrein zijn. 15Als dan de priester dat levende vlees gezien zal hebben, zal hij hem onrein verklaren; dat levende vlees is onrein; het is melaatsheid. 16Of als dat levende vlees verkeert, en in wit veranderd zal worden, zo zal hij tot den priester komen. 17Als de priester hem bezien zal hebben, dat, ziet, de plaag in wit veranderd is, zo zal de priester hem, die de plaag heeft, rein verklaren; hij is rein. 18Het vlees ook, als in deszelfs vel een zweer zal geweest zijn, zo het genezen is; 19En in de plaats van die zweer een wit gezwel, of een witte roodachtige blaar worden zal, zo zal het aan den priester vertoond worden. 20Indien de priester merken zal, dat, ziet, haar aanzien lager is dan het vel, en derzelver haar in wit veranderd is, zo zal de priester hem onrein verklaren; het is de plaag der melaatsheid, zij is door de zweer uitgebot. 21Wanneer nu de priester die bezien zal hebben, dat, ziet, geen wit haar daaraan is, en die niet lager dan het vel, maar ingetrokken is, zo zal de priester hem zeven dagen opsluiten. 22Zo zij daarna gans in het vel uitgespreid zal zijn, zo zal de priester hem onrein verklaren; het is de plaag. 23Maar indien de blaar in haar plaats zal staande blijven, niet uitgespreid zijnde, het is de roof van die zweer, zo zal de priester hem rein verklaren; 24Of wanneer in het vel des vleses een vurige brand zal geweest zijn, en het gezonde van dien brand een witte roodachtige of witte blaar is; 25En de priester die gezien zal hebben, dat, ziet, het haar op de blaar in wit veranderd is, en haar aanzien dieper is dan het vel; het is melaatsheid, door den brand is zij uitgebot; daarom zal hem de priester onrein verklaren; het is de plaag der melaatsheid. 26Maar indien de priester die merken zal, dat, ziet, op de blaar geen wit haar is, en zij niet lager dan het vel, maar ingetrokken is, zo zal de priester hem zeven dagen opsluiten. 27Daarna zal de priester hem op den zevenden dag bezien; indien zij gans uitgespreid is in het vel, zo zal de priester hem onrein verklaren; het is de plaag der melaatsheid. 28Maar indien de blaar in haar plaats staande zal blijven, noch in het vel uitgespreid, maar ingetrokken zal zijn, het is een gezwel van den brand; daarom zal de priester hem rein verklaren, want het is de roof van den brand. 29Verder, als in een man of vrouw een plaag zal zijn in het hoofd, of in den baard; 30En de priester die plaag zal bezien hebben, dat, ziet, haar aanzien dieper is dan het vel, en geelachtig dun haar daarop is, zo zal de priester hem onrein verklaren; het is schurftheid, het is melaatsheid van het hoofd of van den baard. 31Maar als de priester de plaag der schurftheid zal bezien hebben, dat, ziet, haar aanzien niet dieper is dan het vel, en geen zwart haar daarop is, zo zal de priester hem, die de plaag der schurftheid heeft, zeven dagen doen opsluiten. 32Daarna zal de priester die plaag op den zevenden dag bezien; indien, ziet, de schurftheid niet uitgespreid, en daarop geen geelachtig haar is, noch het aanzien der schurftheid dieper dan het vel is; 33Zo zal hij zich scheren laten; maar de schurftheid zal hij niet scheren; en de priester zal hem, die de schurftheid heeft, andermaal zeven dagen doen opsluiten. 34Daarna zal de priester die schurftheid op den zevenden dag bezien; indien, ziet, de schurftheid in het vel niet uitgespreid is, en haar aanzien niet dieper is dan het vel, zo zal de priester hem rein verklaren; en hij zal zijn klederen wassen, en rein zijn. 35Maar indien de schurftheid in het vel gans uitgespreid is, na zijn reiniging; 36En de priester hem zal bezien hebben, dat, ziet, de schurftheid in het vel uitgespreid is, de priester zal naar het geelachtig haar niet zoeken; hij is onrein. 37Maar indien die schurftheid, naar dat hij zien kan, is staande gebleven, en zwart haar daarop gewassen is, die schurftheid is genezen, hij is rein; daarom zal de priester hem rein verklaren. 38Verder als een man, of vrouw, aan het vel van hun vlees blaren zullen hebben, witte blaren; 39En de priester zal gemerkt hebben, dat, ziet, ingetrokken witte blaren in het vel van hun vlees zijn; het is een witte puist in het vel uitgebot, hij is rein. 40En als een man zijn hoofdhaar zal uitgevallen zijn, hij is kaal, hij is rein. 41En zo van de zijde zijns aangezichts het haar van zijn hoofd zal uitgevallen zijn, hij is bles, hij is rein. 42Maar zo in de kaalheid, of in de blesse, een witte roodachtige plaag is, dat is melaatsheid, uitbottende in zijn kaalheid, of in zijn blesse. 43Als de priester hem zal bezien hebben, dat, ziet, het gezwel van die plaag in zijn kaalheid, of blesse, wit roodachtig is, gelijk het aanzien der melaatsheid van het vel des vleses; 44Die man is melaats, hij is onrein; de priester zal hem ganselijk onrein verklaren, zijn plaag is op zijn hoofd. 45Voorts zullen de klederen des melaatsen, in wien die plaag is, gescheurd zijn, en zijn hoofd zal ontbloot zijn, en hij zal de bovenste lip bewimpelen; daartoe zal hij roepen: Onrein, onrein! 46Al de dagen, in welke deze plaag aan hem zal zijn, zal hij onrein zijn; onrein is hij, hij zal alleen wonen; buiten het leger zal zijn woning wezen. 47Verder als aan een kleed de plaag der melaatsheid zal zijn, aan een wollen kleed, of aan een linnen kleed, 48Of aan den scheerdraad, of aan den inslag van linnen, of van wol, of aan vel, of aan enig vellenwerk; 49En die plaag aan het kleed, of aan het vel, of aan den scheerdraad, of aan den inslag, of aan enig vellentuig, groenachtig of roodachtig is; het is de plaag der melaatsheid; daarom zal zij den priester vertoond worden. 50En de priester zal de plaag bezien; en hij zal hetgeen de plaag heeft, zeven dagen doen opsluiten. 51Daarna zal hij op den zevenden dag de plaag bezien; zo de plaag uitgespreid is aan het kleed, of aan den scheerdraad, of aan den inslag, of aan het vel, tot wat werk dat vel zou mogen gemaakt zijn, die plaag is een knagende melaatsheid, het is onrein. 52Daarom zal hij dat kleed, of die werpte, of dien inslag van wol, of van linnen, of alle vellentuig, waarin die plaag zal zijn, verbranden; want het is een knagende melaatsheid; het zal met vuur verbrand worden. 53Doch indien de priester zal zien, dat, ziet, de plaag aan het kleed, of aan den scheerdraad, of aan den inslag, of aan enig vellentuig niet uitgespreid is; 54Zo zal de priester gebieden, dat men hetgeen, waaraan die plaag is, wasse, en hij zal dat andermaal zeven dagen doen opsluiten. 55Als de priester, nadat het gewassen is, de plaag zal bezien hebben, dat, ziet, de plaag haar gedaante niet veranderd heeft, en de plaag niet uitgespreid is, het is onrein, gij zult het met vuur verbranden; het is een ingraving aan zijn achterste of aan zijn voorste zijde. 56Indien nu de priester merken zal, dat, ziet, die plaag, nadat zij zal gewassen zijn, ingetrokken is; dan zal hij ze van het kleed, of van het vel, of van den scheerdraad, of van den inslag afscheuren. 57Maar zo zij nog aan het kleed, of aan den scheerdraad, of aan den inslag, of aan enig vellentuig, gezien wordt, het is uitbottende melaatsheid; gij zult hetgeen, waaraan de plaag is, met vuur verbranden. 58Maar het kleed, of de werpte, of de inslag, of alle vellentuig, dat gij gewassen zult hebben, als de plaag daarvan geweken zal zijn, dat zal andermaal gewassen worden, en het zal rein zijn. 59Dit is de wet van de plaag der melaatsheid, van een wollen of linnen kleed, of een werpte, of een inslag, of alle vellentuig, om dat rein te verklaren, of onrein te verklaren.
