1Phần đất bắt thăm trúng về con cháu Giô-sép trải từ sông Giô-đanh về Giê-ri-cô, từ các suối của Giê-ri-cô về hướng đông, chạy dọc theo đồng vắng từ thành Giê-ri-cô lên đến núi Bê-tên. 2Giới hạn băng từ Bê-tên đến Lu-xơ, đi qua bờ cõi dân A-ê-kít tại A-ta-sốt; 3kế chạy xuống hướng tây về phía bờ cõi dân Giáp-lê-tít, cho đến bờ cõi Bết-Hô-rôn dưới và Ghê-xe, rồi giáp biển. 4Ấy là tại đó mà con cháu của Giô-sép, Ma-na-se và Ép-ra-im, lãnh phần sản nghiệp mình. 5Này là giới hạn của Ép-ra-im, tùy theo những họ hàng của chúng. Giới hạn của sản nghiệp họ ở về phía đông, từ A-tê-rốt-a-đa cho đến Bết-Hô-rôn trên, 6thẳng qua tây tại hướng bắc của Mít-mê-thát; rồi vòng qua đông về lối Tha-a-nát-Si-lô, và qua khỏi đó đến Gia-nô-ách theo phía đông; 7kế chạy từ Gia-nô-ách xuống A-ta-rốt và Na-ra-tha, đụng Giê-ri-cô, rồi giáp sông Giô-đanh. 8Từ Tháp-bu-ách giới hạn đi vế hướng tây đến khe Ca-na, rồi giáp biển. Ðó là sản nghiệp của chi phái Ép-ra-im, tùy theo những họ hàng của chúng. 9Người Ép-ra-im cũng có những thành và làng riêng ra giữa sản nghiệp của người Ma-na-se. 10Song họ không đuổi được dân Ca-na-an ở tại Ghê-xe; nên dân Ca-na-an ở giữa Ép-ra-im cho đến ngày nay, nhưng phải nộp thuế. Phần của Ma-na-se, Giô-suê chia cho con cháu Giô-sép địa phận sẽ đánh lấy.

1The lot came out for the children of Joseph from the Jordan at Jericho, at the waters of Jericho on the east, even the wilderness, going up from Jericho through the hill country to Bethel. 2It went out from Bethel to Luz, and passed along to the border of the Archites to Ataroth; 3and it went down westward to the border of the Japhletites, to the border of Beth Horon the lower, even to Gezer; and ended at the sea. 4The children of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, took their inheritance. 5This was the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families. The border of their inheritance eastward was Ataroth Addar, to Beth Horon the upper. 6The border went out westward at Michmethath on the north. The border turned about eastward to Taanath Shiloh, and passed along it on the east of Janoah. 7It went down from Janoah to Ataroth, to Naarah, reached to Jericho, and went out at the Jordan. 8From Tappuah the border went along westward to the brook of Kanah; and ended at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim according to their families; 9together with the cities which were set apart for the children of Ephraim in the midst of the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages. 10They didn’t drive out the Canaanites who lived in Gezer; but the Canaanites dwell in the midst of Ephraim to this day, and have become servants to do forced labor.

1Daarna kwam het lot der kinderen van Jozef uit: van de Jordaan bij Jericho, aan het water van Jericho, oostwaarts, de woestijn opgaande van Jericho, door het gebergte Beth-El; 2En het komt van Beth-El uit naar Luz; en het gaat door tot de landpale des Archiets, tot Ataroth toe; 3En het gaat af tegen het westen naar de landpale Jafleti, tot aan de landpale van het benedenste Beth-horon, en tot Gezer; en haar uitgangen zijn aan de zee. 4Alzo hebben hun erfdeel bekomen de kinderen van Jozef, Manasse en Efraim. 5De landpale nu der kinderen van Efraim, naar hun huisgezinnen, is deze: te weten, de landpale huns erfdeels was oostwaarts Atroth-Addar tot aan het bovenste Beth-Horon. 6En deze landpale gaat uit tegen het westen bij Michmetath, van het noorden, en deze landpale keert zich om tegen het oosten naar Thaanath-Silo, en gaat door dezelve van het oosten naar Janoah; 7En komt af van Janoah naar Ataroth en Naharoth, en stoot aan Jericho, en gaat uit aan de Jordaan. 8Van Tappuah gaat deze landpale westwaarts naar de beek Kana, en haar uitgangen zijn aan de zee. Dit is het erfdeel van den stam der kinderen van Efraim, naar hun huisgezinnen. 9En de steden, die afgezonderd waren voor de kinderen van Efraim, waren in het midden van het erfdeel der kinderen van Manasse, al die steden en haar dorpen. 10En zij verdreven de Kanaanieten niet, die te Gezer woonden; alzo woonden die Kanaanieten in het midden der Efraimieten tot op dezen dag; maar zij waren onder schatting dienende.
