Mikas 3

1At aking sinabi, Isinasamo ko sa inyo, na inyong dinggin, ninyong mga pangulo ng Jacob, at mga pinuno ng sangbahayan ni Israel: hindi baga sa inyo ang pagalam ng katuwiran. 2Kayong napopoot sa mabuti at umiibig sa kasamaan; na siyang umaagaw sa mga dukha ng balat nila, at ng kanilang laman sa kanilang mga buto; 3Kayo ring kumakain ng laman ng aking bayan, at lumalapnos ng kanilang balat, at bumabali ng kanilang mga buto, at kanilang pinagputolputol yaon, na wari'y para sa palyok, at parang laman sa loob ng caldera. 4Kung magkagayo'y magsisidaing sila sa Panginoon, nguni't hindi niya sasagutin sila; oo, kaniyang ikukubli ang kaniyang mukha sa kanila sa panahong yaon, ayon sa kanilang ginawang kasamaan sa kanilang mga gawa. 5Ganito ang sabi ng Panginoon tungkol sa mga propeta na nagliligaw sa aking bayan; na nagkakanggigitil ng kanilang mga ngipin at nagsisihiyaw, Kapayapaan; at yaong hindi naglalagay sa kanilang bibig, ay pinaghahandaan siya nila ng digma: 6Kaya't magiging gabi sa inyo, na hindi kayo magkakaroon ng pangitain; at magkakaroon ng kadiliman, na hindi kayo makapanghuhula; at ang araw ay lulubog sa mga propeta, at ang araw ay mangungulimlim sa kanila. 7At ang mga tagakita ay mangapapahiya, at ang mga manghuhula ay mangatutulig; oo, silang lahat ay mangagtatakip ng kanilang mga labi; sapagka't walang kasagutan ng Dios. 8Nguni't sa ganang akin, ako'y puspos ng kapangyarihan sa pamamagitan ng Espiritu ng Panginoon, at ng kahatulan, at ng kapangyarihan, upang ipahayag sa Jacob ang kaniyang pagsalansang, at sa Israel ang kaniyang kasalanan. 9Dinggin ninyo ito, isinasamo ko sa inyo, ninyong mga pangulo sa sangbahayan ni Jacob, at mga pinuno sa sangbahayan ni Israel, na nangapopoot sa kahatulan, at nangagbabaluktot ng matuwid. 10Kanilang itinatayo ang Sion sa pamamagitan ng dugo, at ang Jerusalem sa pamamagitan ng kasamaan. 11Ang mga pangulo niya'y nagsisihatol dahil sa suhol, at ang mga saserdote, niya'y nangagtuturo dahil sa upa, at ang mga propeta niya'y nanganghuhula dahil sa salapi: gayon ma'y sila'y sasandal sa Panginoon, at mangagsasabi, Hindi baga ang Panginoon ay nasa gitna natin? walang kasamaang darating sa akin. 12Kaya't ang Sion ay bubukirin na parang isang bukid dahil sa inyo, at ang Jerusalem ay magiging mga bunton, at ang mga bundok ng bahay ay parang mga mataas na dako sa isang gubat.

1I said, “Please listen, you heads of Jacob, and rulers of the house of Israel: Isn’t it for you to know justice? 2You who hate the good, and love the evil; who tear off their skin, and their flesh from off their bones; 3who also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them, and break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the cauldron. 4Then they will cry to Yahweh, but he will not answer them. Yes, he will hide his face from them at that time, because they made their deeds evil.” 5Thus says Yahweh concerning the prophets who lead my people astray; for those who feed their teeth, they proclaim, “Peace!” and whoever doesn’t provide for their mouths, they prepare war against him: 6“Therefore night is over you, with no vision, and it is dark to you, that you may not divine; and the sun will go down on the prophets, and the day will be black over them. 7The seers shall be disappointed, and the diviners confounded. Yes, they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer from God.” 8But as for me, I am full of power by the Spirit of Yahweh, and of judgment, and of might, to declare to Jacob his disobedience, and to Israel his sin. 9Please listen to this, you heads of the house of Jacob, and rulers of the house of Israel, who abhor justice, and pervert all equity. 10They build up Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity. 11Her leaders judge for bribes, and her priests teach for a price, and her prophets of it tell fortunes for money: yet they lean on Yahweh, and say, “Isn’t Yahweh in the midst of us? No disaster will come on us.” 12Therefore Zion for your sake will be plowed like a field, and Jerusalem will become heaps of rubble, and the mountain of the temple like the high places of a forest.

1Voorts zeide ik: Hoort nu, gij hoofden Jakobs, en gij oversten van het huis Israels! Betaamt het ulieden niet het recht te weten? 2Zij haten het goede, en hebben het kwade lief; zij roven hun huid van hen af, en hun vlees van hun beenderen. 3Ja, zij zijn het, die het vlees mijns volks eten, en hun huid afstropen, en hun beenderen verbreken; en vaneen leggen, gelijk als in een pot, en als vlees in het midden eens ketels. 4Alsdan zullen zij roepen tot den HEERE, doch Hij zal hen niet verhoren; maar zal Zijn aangezicht te dier tijd voor hen verbergen, gelijk als zij hun handelingen kwaad gemaakt hebben. 5Alzo zegt de HEERE, tegen de profeten, die Mijn volk verleiden; die met hun tanden bijten, en roepen vrede uit; maar die niets geeft in hun mond, tegen dien zo heiligen zij een krijg. 6Daarom zal het nacht voor ulieden worden vanwege het gezicht, en ulieden zal duisternis zijn vanwege de waarzegging; en de zon zal over deze profeten ondergaan; en de dag zal over hen zwart worden. 7En de zieners zullen beschaamd, en de waarzeggers schaamrood worden; en zij zullen al te zamen de bovenste lip bewimpelen; want er zal geen antwoord Gods zijn. 8Maar waarlijk, ik ben vol krachts van den Geest des HEEREN; en vol van gericht en dapperheid, om Jakob te verkondigen zijn overtreding, en Israel zijn zonde. 9Hoort nu dit, gij hoofden van het huis Jakobs, en gij oversten van het huis Israels! die van het gericht een gruwel hebt, en al wat recht is verkeert; 10Bouwende Sion met bloed, en Jeruzalem met onrecht. 11Haar hoofden rechten om geschenken, en haar priesters leren om loon, en haar profeten waarzeggen om geld; nog steunen zij op den HEERE, zeggende: Is de HEERE niet in het midden van ons? Ons zal geen kwaad overkomen. 12Daarom, om uwentwil, zal Sion als een akker geploegd worden, en Jeruzalem zal tot steenhopen worden, en de berg dezes huizes tot hoogten eens wouds.
