Estes Datã e Abirão foram os do conselho da congregação, que fizeram o motim contra Moisés e Arão com a companhia de Coré, quando se amotinaram contra o SENHOR. 10Que a terra abriu sua boca e tragou a eles e a Coré, quando aquela companhia morreu, quando consumiu o fogo duzentos e cinquenta homens, os quais foram por sinal. 11Mas os filhos de Coré não morreram. 12Os filhos de Simeão por suas famílias: de Nemuel, a família dos nemuelitas; de Jamim, a família dos jaminitas; de Jaquim, a família dos jaquinitas; 13De Zerá, a família dos zeraítas; de Saul, a família dos saulitas. 14Estas são as famílias dos simeonitas, vinte e dois mil e duzentos. 15Os filhos de Gade por suas famílias: de Zefom, a família dos zefonitas; de Hagi, a família dos hagitas; de Suni, a família dos sunitas; 16De Ozni, a família dos oznitas; de Eri, a família dos eritas; 17De Arodi, a família dos aroditas; de Areli, a família dos arelitas. 18Estas são as famílias de Gade, por seus contados, quarenta mil e quinhentos. 19Os filhos de Judá: Er e Onã; e Er e Onã morreram na terra de Canaã. 20E foram os filhos de Judá por suas famílias: de Selá, a família dos selanitas; de Perez, a família dos perezitas; de Zerá, a família dos zeraítas. 21E foram os filhos de Perez: de Hezrom, a família dos hezronitas; de Hamul, a família dos hamulitas. 22Estas são as famílias de Judá, por seus contados, setenta e seis mil e quinhentos. 23Os filhos de Issacar por suas famílias: de Tola, a família dos tolaítas; de Puá a família dos puvitas; 24De Jasube, a família dos jasubitas; de Sinrom, a família dos sinronitas. 25Estas são as famílias de Issacar, por seus contados, sessenta e quatro mil e trezentos. 26Os filhos de Zebulom por suas famílias: de Serede, a família dos sereditas; de Elom, a família dos elonitas; de Jaleel, a família dos jaleelitas. 27Estas são as famílias dos zebulonitas, por seus contados, sessenta mil e quinhentos. 28Os filhos de José por suas famílias: Manassés e Efraim. 29Os filhos de Manassés: de Maquir, a família dos maquiritas; e Maquir gerou a Gileade; de Gileade, a família dos gileaditas. 30Estes são os filhos de Gileade: de Jezer, a família dos jezeritas; de Heleque, a família dos helequitas; 31De Asriel, a família dos asrielitas: de Siquém, a família dos siquemitas; 32De Semida, a família dos semidaítas; de Héfer, a família dos heferitas. 33E Zelofeade, filho de Héfer, não teve filhos somente filhas: e os nomes das filhas de Zelofeade foram Maalá, e Noa, e Hogla, e Milca, e Tirza. 34Estas são as famílias de Manassés; e seus contados, cinquenta e dois mil e setecentos. 35Estes são os filhos de Efraim por suas famílias: de Sutela, a família dos sutelaítas; de Bequer, a família dos bequeritas; de Taã, a família dos taanitas. 36E estes são os filhos de Sutela: de Erã, a família dos eranitas. 37Estas são as famílias dos filhos de Efraim, por seus contados, trinta e dois mil e quinhentos. Estes são os filhos de José por suas famílias. 38Os filhos de Benjamim por suas famílias: de Belá, a família dos belaítas; de Asbel, a família dos asbelitas; de Airã, a família dos airamitas; 39De Sufã, a família dos sufamitas; de Hufã, a família dos hufamitas. 40E os filhos de Belá foram Arde e Naamã: de Arde, a família dos arditas; de Naamã, a família dos naamanitas. 41Estes são os filhos de Benjamim por suas famílias; e seus contados, quarenta e cinco mil e seiscentos. 42Estes são os filhos de Dã por suas famílias: de Suã, a família dos suamitas. Estas são as famílias de Dã por suas famílias. 43Todas as famílias dos suamitas, por seus contados, sessenta e quatro mil e quatrocentos. 44Os filhos de Aser por suas famílias: de Imna, a família dos imnaítas; de Isvi, a família dos isvitas; de Berias, a família dos beriitas. 45Os filhos de Berias: de Héber, a família dos heberitas; de Malquiel, a família dos malquielitas. 46E o nome da filha de Aser foi Sera. 47Estas são as famílias dos filhos de Aser, por seus contados, cinquenta e três mil e quatrocentos. 48Os filhos de Naftali por suas famílias: de Jazeel, a família dos jazeelitas; de Guni, a família dos gunitas; 49De Jezer, a família dos jezeritas; de Silém, a família dos silemitas. 50Estas são as famílias de Naftali por suas famílias; e seus contados, quarenta e cinco mil e quatrocentos. 51Estes são os contados dos filhos de Israel, seiscentos e um mil setecentos e trinta. 52E falou o SENHOR a Moisés, dizendo: 53A estes se repartirá a terra em herança, pela conta dos nomes. 54Aos mais darás maior herança, e aos menos menor; e a cada um se lhe dará sua herança conforme seus contados. 55Porém a terra será repartida por sorteio; e pelos nomes das tribos de seus pais herdarão. 56Conforme a sorte será repartida sua herança entre o grande e o pequeno. 57E os contados dos levitas por suas famílias são estes: de Gérson, a família dos gersonitas; de Coate, a família dos coatitas; de Merari, a família dos meraritas. 58Estas são as famílias dos levitas: a família dos libnitas, a família dos hebronitas, a família dos malitas, a família dos musitas, a família dos coraítas. E Coate gerou a Anrão. 59E a mulher de Anrão se chamou Joquebede, filha de Levi, a qual nasceu a Levi no Egito: esta deu à luz de Anrão a Arão e a Moisés, e a Miriã sua irmã. 60E a Arão nasceram Nadabe e Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar. 61Mas Nadabe e Abiú morreram, quando ofereceram fogo estranho diante do SENHOR. 62E os contados dos levitas foram vinte e três mil, todos homens de um mês acima: porque não foram contados entre os filhos de Israel, porquanto não lhes havia de ser dada herança entre os filhos de Israel. 63Estes são os contados por Moisés e Eleazar o sacerdote, os quais contaram os filhos de Israel nos campos de Moabe, junto ao Jordão de Jericó. 64E entre estes ninguém havia dos contados por Moisés e Arão o sacerdote, os quais contaram aos filhos de Israel no deserto de Sinai. 65Porque o SENHOR lhes disse: Hão de morrer no deserto: e não restou homem deles, a não ser Calebe filho de Jefoné, e Josué filho de Num.

1After the plague, Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, saying, 2“Take a census of all the congregation of the children of Israel, from twenty years old and upward, by their fathers’ houses, all who are able to go out to war in Israel.” 3Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke with them in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying, 4“Take a census, from twenty years old and upward; as Yahweh commanded Moses and the children of Israel.” These are those that came out of the land of Egypt. 5Reuben, the firstborn of Israel; the sons of Reuben: of Hanoch, the family of the Hanochites; of Pallu, the family of the Palluites; 6of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites; of Carmi, the family of the Carmites. 7These are the families of the Reubenites; and those who were numbered of them were forty-three thousand seven hundred thirty. 8The sons of Pallu: Eliab. 9The sons of Eliab: Nemuel, and Dathan, and Abiram. These are that Dathan and Abiram, who were called by the congregation, who rebelled against Moses and against Aaron in the company of Korah, when they rebelled against Yahweh, 10and the earth opened its mouth, and swallowed them up together with Korah, when that company died; at the time the fire devoured two hundred fifty men, and they became a sign. 11Notwithstanding, the sons of Korah didn’t die. 12The sons of Simeon after their families: of Nemuel, the family of the Nemuelites; of Jamin, the family of the Jaminites; of Jachin, the family of the Jachinites; 13of Zerah, the family of the Zerahites; of Shaul, the family of the Shaulites. 14These are the families of the Simeonites, twenty-two thousand two hundred. 15The sons of Gad after their families: of Zephon, the family of the Zephonites; of Haggi, the family of the Haggites; of Shuni, the family of the Shunites; 16of Ozni, the family of the Oznites; of Eri, the family of the Erites; 17of Arod, the family of the Arodites; of Areli, the family of the Arelites. 18These are the families of the sons of Gad according to those who were numbered of them, forty thousand and five hundred. 19The sons of Judah: Er and Onan. These are the sons of Joseph after their families. 38The sons of Benjamin after their families: of Bela, the family of the Belaites; of Ashbel, the family of the Ashbelites; of Ahiram, the family of the Ahiramites; 39of Shephupham, the family of the Shuphamites; of Hupham, the family of the Huphamites. 40The sons of Bela were Ard and Naaman: the family of the Ardites; of Naaman, the family of the Naamites. 41These are the sons of Benjamin after their families; and those who were numbered of them were forty-five thousand six hundred. 42These are the sons of Dan after their families: of Shuham, the family of the Shuhamites. These are the families of Dan after their families. 43All the families of the Shuhamites, according to those who were numbered of them, were sixty-four thousand four hundred. 44The sons of Asher after their families: of Imnah, the family of the Imnites; of Ishvi, the family of the Ishvites; of Beriah, the family of the Berites. 45Of the sons of Beriah: of Heber, the family of the Heberites; of Malchiel, the family of the Malchielites. 46The name of the daughter of Asher was Serah. 47These are the families of the sons of Asher according to those who were numbered of them, fifty-three thousand and four hundred. 48The sons of Naphtali after their families: of Jahzeel, the family of the Jahzeelites; of Guni, the family of the Gunites; 49of Jezer, the family of the Jezerites; of Shillem, the family of the Shillemites. 50These are the families of Naphtali according to their families; and those who were numbered of them were forty-five thousand four hundred. 51These are those who were numbered of the children of Israel, six hundred one thousand seven hundred thirty. 52Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 53“To these the land shall be divided for an inheritance according to the number of names. 54To the more you shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer you shall give the less inheritance. To everyone according to those who were numbered of him shall his inheritance be given. 55Notwithstanding, the land shall be divided by lot. According to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherit. 56According to the lot shall their inheritance be divided between the more and the fewer.” 57These are those who were numbered of the Levites after their families: of Gershon, the family of the Gershonites; of Kohath, the family of the Kohathites; of Merari, the family of the Merarites. 58These are the families of Levi: the family of the Libnites, the family of the Hebronites, the family of the Mahlites, the family of the Mushites, the family of the Korahites. Kohath became the father of Amram. 59The name of Amram’s wife was Jochebed, the daughter of Levi, who was born to Levi in Egypt. She bore to Amram Aaron and Moses, and Miriam their sister. 60To Aaron were born Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar. 61Nadab and Abihu died when they offered strange fire before Yahweh. 62Those who were numbered of them were twenty-three thousand, every male from a month old and upward; for they were not numbered among the children of Israel, because there was no inheritance given them among the children of Israel. 63These are those who were numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who numbered the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho. 64But among these there was not a man of them who were numbered by Moses and Aaron the priest, who numbered the children of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai. 65For Yahweh had said of them, “They shall surely die in the wilderness.” There was not a man left of them, except Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.

1Het geschiedde nu na die plaag, dat de HEERE sprak tot Mozes, en tot Eleazar, den zoon van Aaron, den priester, zeggende: 2Neem de som van de gehele vergadering der kinderen Israels op, van twintig jaren oud en daarboven, naar het huis hunner vaderen, al wie ten heire in Israel uittrekt. 3Mozes dan en Eleazar, de priester, spraken hen aan, in de vlakke velden van Moab, aan de Jordaan van Jericho, zeggende: 4Dat men opneme van twintig jaren oud en daarboven; gelijk als de HEERE Mozes geboden had, en den kinderen Israels, die uit Egypteland uitgetogen waren. 5Ruben was de eerstgeborene van Israel. Dat zijn de zonen van Jozef, naar hun geslachten. 38De zonen van Benjamin, naar hun geslachten: van Bela het geslacht der Belaieten; van Asbel het geslacht der Asbelieten; van Ahiram het geslacht der Ahirmieten; 39Van Sefufam het geslacht der Sufamieten; van Hufam het geslacht der Hufamieten. 40En de zonen van Bela waren Ard en Naaman; van Ard het geslacht der Ardieten; van Naaman het geslacht der Naamieten. 41Dat zijn de zonen van Benjamin, naar hun geslachten; en hun getelden waren vijf en veertig duizend en zeshonderd. 42Dit zijn de zonen van Dan, naar hun geslachten: van Suham het geslacht der Suhamieten; dat zijn de geslachten van Dan, naar hun geslachten. 43Al de geslachten der Suhamieten, naar hun getelden, waren vier en zestig duizend en vierhonderd. 44De zonen van Aser, naar hun geslachten, waren: van Imna het geslacht der Imnaieten; van Isvi het geslacht der Isvieten; van Beria het geslacht der Beriieten. 45Van de zonen van Beria waren: van Heber het geslacht der Heberieten; van Malchiel het geslacht der Malchielieten. 46En de naam der dochter van Aser was Serah. 47Dat zijn de geslachten der zonen van Aser, naar hun getelden: drie en vijftig duizend en vierhonderd. 48De zonen van Nafthali, naar hun geslachten: van Jahzeel het geslacht der Jahzeelieten; van Guni het geslacht der Gunieten; 49Van Jezer het geslacht der Jezerieten; van Sillem het geslacht der Sillemieten. 50Dat zijn de geslachten van Nafthali, naar hun geslachten; en hun getelden waren vijf en veertig duizend en vierhonderd. 51Dat zijn de getelden van de zonen Israels: zeshonderd een duizend zevenhonderd en dertig. 52En de HEERE sprak tot Mozes, zeggende: 53Aan dezen zal het land uitgedeeld worden ter erfenis, naar het getal der namen. 54Aan degenen, die veel zijn, zult gij hun erfenis meerder maken, en aan hen, die weinig zijn, zult gij hun erfenis minder maken; aan een iegelijk zal, naar zijn getelden, zijn erfenis gegeven worden. 55Het land nochtans zal door het lot gedeeld worden; naar de namen der stammen hunner vaderen zullen zij erven. 56Naar het lot zal elks erfenis gedeeld worden tussen de velen, en de weinigen. 57Dit zijn nu de getelden van Levi, naar hun geslachten: van Gerson het geslacht der Gersonieten; van Kohath het geslacht der Kohathieten; van Merari het geslacht der Merarieten. 58Dit zijn de geslachten van Levi: het geslacht der Libnieten, het geslacht der Hebronieten, het geslacht der Machlieten, het geslacht der Muzieten, het geslacht der Korachieten. En Kohath gewon Amram. 59En de naam der huisvrouw van Amram was Jochebed, de dochter van Levi, welke de huisvrouw van Levi baarde in Egypte; en deze baarde aan Amram, Aaron, en Mozes, en Mirjam, hun zuster. 60En aan Aaron werden geboren Nadab en Abihu, Eleazar en Ithamar. 61Nadab nu en Abihu waren gestorven, toen zij vreemd vuur brachten voor het aangezicht des HEEREN. 62En hun getelden waren drie en twintig duizend, al wat mannelijk is, van een maand oud en daarboven; want dezen werden niet geteld onder de kinderen Israels, omdat hun geen erfenis gegeven werd onder de kinderen Israels. 63Dat zijn de getelden van Mozes en Eleazar, den priester, die de kinderen Israels telden in de vlakke velden van Moab, aan de Jordaan van Jericho. 64En onder dezen was niemand uit de getelden van Mozes en Aaron, den priester, als zij de kinderen Israels telden in de woestijn van Sinai. 65Want de HEERE had van die gezegd, dat zij in de woestijn gewisselijk zouden sterven; en er was niemand van hen overgebleven, dan Kaleb, de zoon van Jefunne, en Jozua, de zoon van Nun.
