Ozea 9

1Ne ĝoju, ho Izrael, ne estu gaja, kiel la popoloj, ĉar vi malĉaste foriĝis de via Dio, vi preferas proamaĵajn donacojn ol ĉiujn grenejojn plenajn de greno. 2Tial draŝejo kaj vinpremejo ne nutros ilin, la mosto mankos en ĝi. 3Ili ne loĝos en la lando de la Eternulo; Efraim revenos en Egiptujon, kaj en Asirio ili manĝos malpuraĵon. 4Ili ne verŝoferos al la Eternulo vinon, kaj ne estos agrablaj al Li; iliaj oferoj estos kiel pano de suferantoj: ĉiuj ĝiaj manĝantoj fariĝos malpuraj; ĉar ilia pano devas esti nur por ili mem, ĝi ne devas veni en la domon de la Eternulo. 5Kion vi faros en la tago de solena kunveno kaj en la tago de festo de la Eternulo? 6Ĉar vidu, ili forkuras de malfeliĉo; Egiptujo ilin kolektos, Memfis ilin enterigos; sur la loko, kie troviĝis iliaj amataj arĝentaĵoj, kreskos urtiko, dornoj estos en iliaj tendoj. 7Venis la tempo de punvizito, venis la tagoj de repago; Izrael ekscios, ĉu malsaĝa estis la profeto, ĉu freneza estis la viro inspirita, parolante pri viaj multaj malbonagoj kaj pri la granda malboneco. 8La gardisto de Efraim estis antaŭe kun mia Dio; nun profeto metas kaptilojn sur ĉiuj liaj vojoj, kaj malamo estas en la domo de lia Dio. 9Profunde ili malboniĝis, kiel en la tagoj de Gibea; Li rememoros iliajn malbonagojn, Li punos iliajn pekojn. 10Kiel vinberojn en la dezerto Mi trovis Izraelon; kiel unuan frukton sur la figarbo en la komenco de ĝia matureco Mi vidis viajn patrojn; sed ili iris al Baal-Peor, kaj konsekris sin al la hontindaĵo, kaj fariĝis abomeninduloj, kiel ilia amato. 11La honoro de Efraim forflugos kiel birdo; ne estos nasko, nek gravedeco, nek gravediĝo. 12Kaj se ili eĉ edukus siajn infanojn, Mi tamen seninfanigos ilin, ke ili ne havu homojn; ĉar ve al ili, kiam Mi forigos Min de ili. 13Efraim, kiel Mi vidas, estas plantita sur bela loko, kiel Tiro; tamen Efraim elirigos siajn infanojn al la mortiganto. 14Donu al ili, ho Eternulo, tion, kion Vi promesis doni; donu al ili ventron aborteman kaj mamojn sekiĝintajn. 15Ilia tuta malboneco estas en Gilgal; tie Mi ekmalamis ilin; pro iliaj malbonaj agoj Mi elpelos ilin el Mia domo; Mi ne plu amos ilin; ĉiuj iliaj princoj estas defalintoj. 16Efraim estas batita; ilia radiko sekiĝis; ili ne plu donos fruktojn; eĉ se ili naskos, Mi mortigos la karan frukton de ilia ventro. 17Mia Dio ilin forpuŝos, ĉar ili ne aŭskultis Lin; kaj ili vagados inter la nacioj.

1Don’t rejoice, Israel, to jubilation like the nations; for you were unfaithful to your God. You love the wages of a prostitute at every grain threshing floor. 2The threshing floor and the wine press won’t feed them, and the new wine will fail her. 3They won’t dwell in Yahweh’s land; but Ephraim will return to Egypt, and they will eat unclean food in Assyria. 4They won’t pour out wine offerings to Yahweh, neither will they be pleasing to him. Their sacrifices will be to them like the bread of mourners; all who eat of it will be polluted; for their bread will be for their appetite. It will not come into Yahweh’s house. 5What will you do in the day of solemn assembly, and in the day of the feast of Yahweh? 6For, behold, they have gone away from destruction. Egypt will gather them up. Memphis will bury them. Nettles will possess their pleasant things of silver. Thorns will be in their tents. 7The days of visitation have come. The days of reckoning have come. Israel will consider the prophet to be a fool, and the man who is inspired to be insane, because of the abundance of your sins, and because your hostility is great. 8A prophet watches over Ephraim with my God. A fowler’s snare is on all of his paths, and hostility in the house of his God. 9They have deeply corrupted themselves, as in the days of Gibeah. He will remember their iniquity. He will punish them for their sins. 10I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness. I saw your fathers as the first ripe in the fig tree at its first season; but they came to Baal Peor, and consecrated themselves to the shameful thing, and became abominable like that which they loved. 11As for Ephraim, their glory will fly away like a bird. There will be no birth, no one with child, and no conception. 12Though they bring up their children, yet I will bereave them, so that not a man shall be left. Indeed, woe also to them when I depart from them! 13I have seen Ephraim, like Tyre, planted in a pleasant place; but Ephraim will bring out his children to the murderer. 14Give them—Yahweh what will you give? Give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts. 15“All their wickedness is in Gilgal; for there I hated them. Because of the wickedness of their deeds I will drive them out of my house! I will love them no more. All their princes are rebels. 16Ephraim is struck. Their root has dried up. They will bear no fruit. Even though they give birth, yet I will kill the beloved ones of their womb.” 17My God will cast them away, because they did not listen to him; and they will be wanderers among the nations.

1Verblijd u niet, o Israel! tot opspringens toe, gelijk de volken; want gij hoereert van uw God af; gij hebt hoerenloon lief, op alle dorsvloeren des korens. 2De dors vloer en de wijnkuip zal henlieden niet voeden; en de most zal hun liegen. 3Zij zullen in des HEEREN land niet blijven; maar Efraim zal weder tot Egypte keren, en zij zullen in Assyrie het onreine eten. 4Zij zullen den HEERE geen drankofferen doen van wijn, ook zouden zij Hem niet zoet zijn, hun offeranden zouden hun zijn als treurbrood; allen, die dat zouden eten, zouden onrein worden; want hun brood zal voor hun ziel zijn, het zal in des HEEREN huis niet komen. 5Wat zult gijlieden dan doen op een gezetten hoogtijdsdag, en op een feestdag des HEEREN? 6Want ziet, zij gaan daarhenen vanwege de verstoring; Egypte zal ze verzamelen, Mof zal ze begraven; begeerte zal er zijn naar hun zilver, netelen zullen hen erfelijk bezitten, doornen zullen in hun tenten zijn. 7De dagen der bezoeking zijn gekomen, de dagen der vergelding zijn gekomen; die van Israel zullen het gewaar worden; de profeet is een dwaas, de man des geestes is onzinnig; om de grootheid uwer ongerechtigheid is de haat ook groot. 8De wachter van Efraim is met mijn God, maar de profeet is een vogelvangersstrik, op al zijn wegen, een haat in het huis zijns Gods. 9Zij hebben zich zeer diep verdorven, als in de dagen van Gibea; Hij zal hunner ongerechtigheid gedenken, Hij zal hun zonden bezoeken. 10Ik vond Israel als druiven in de woestijn, Ik zag uw vaderen als de eerste vrucht aan den vijgeboom in haar beginsel; maar zij gingen in tot Baal-Peor, en zonderden zich af tot die schaamte, en werden gans verfoeilijk naar hun boelerij. 11Aangaande Efraim, hunlieder heerlijkheid zal wegvlieden als een vogel; van de geboorte, en van moeders buik, en van de ontvangenis af. 12Ofschoon zij hun kinderen mochten groot maken, Ik zal er hen toch van beroven, dat zij onder de mensen niet zullen zijn; want ook, wee hun, als Ik van hen zal geweken zijn! 13Efraim is, gelijk als Ik Tyrus aanzag, die geplant is in een liefelijke woonplaats; maar Efraim zal zijn kinderen moeten uitbrengen tot den doodslager. 14Geef hun, HEERE! Wat zult Gij geven? Geef hun een misdragende baarmoeder, en uitdrogende borsten. 15Al hun boosheid is te Gilgal, want daar heb Ik ze gehaat, om de boosheid van hun handelingen; Ik zal ze uit Mijn huis uitdrijven, Ik zal ze voortaan niet meer liefhebben; al hun vorsten zijn afvalligen. 16Efraim is geslagen, hunlieder wortel is verdord, zij zullen geen vrucht voortbrengen; ja, ofschoon zij genereerden, zo zal Ik toch de gewenste vruchten van hun buik doden. 17Mijn God zal ze verwerpen, omdat zij naar Hem niet horen; en zij zullen omzwervende zijn onder de heidenen.
