Αποκάλυψη 22

1Και μοι έδειξε καθαρόν ποταμόν ύδατος της ζωής λαμπρόν ως κρύσταλλον, εξερχόμενον εκ του θρόνου του Θεού και του Αρνίου. 2Εν τω μέσω της πλατείας αυτής και του ποταμού εντεύθεν και εντεύθεν ήτο το δένδρον της ζωής, φέρον καρπούς δώδεκα, καθ' έκαστον μήνα κάμνον τον καρπόν αυτού, και τα φύλλα του δένδρου είναι εις θεραπείαν των εθνών. 3Και ουδέν ανάθεμα θέλει είσθαι πλέον· και ο θρόνος του Θεού και του Αρνίου θέλει είσθαι εν αυτή, και οι δούλοι αυτού θέλουσι λατρεύσει αυτόν 4και θέλουσιν ιδεί το πρόσωπον αυτού, και το όνομα αυτού θέλει είσθαι επί των μετώπων αυτών. 5Και νυξ δεν θέλει είσθαι εκεί, και δεν έχουσι χρείαν λύχνου και φωτός ηλίου, διότι Κύριος ο Θεός φωτίζει αυτούς, και θέλουσι βασιλεύσει εις τους αιώνας των αιώνων. 6Και είπε προς εμέ· Ούτοι οι λόγοι είναι πιστοί και αληθινοί· και Κύριος ο Θεός των αγίων προφητών απέστειλε τον άγγελον αυτού, διά να δείξη εις τους δούλους αυτού τα όσα πρέπει να γείνωσι ταχέως. 7Ιδού, έρχομαι ταχέως. Μακάριος όστις φυλάττει τους λόγους της προφητείας του βιβλίου τούτου. 8Και εγώ ο Ιωάννης είμαι ο ιδών ταύτα και ακούσας. Και ότε ήκουσα και είδον, έπεσα να προσκυνήσω έμπροσθεν των ποδών του αγγέλου του δεικνύοντος εις εμέ ταύτα. 9Και λέγει προς εμέ· Πρόσεχε μη κάμης τούτο· διότι εγώ είμαι σύνδουλός σου και των αδελφών σου των προφητών και των φυλαττόντων τους λόγους του βιβλίου τούτου· τον Θεόν προσκύνησον. 10Και λέγει προς εμέ· Μη σφραγίσης τους λόγους της προφητείας του βιβλίου τούτου· διότι ο καιρός είναι εγγύς. 11Όστις αδικεί ας αδικήση έτι, και όστις είναι μεμολυσμένος ας μολυνθή έτι, και ο δίκαιος ας γείνη έτι δίκαιος, και ο άγιος ας γείνη έτι άγιος. 12Και ιδού, έρχομαι ταχέως, και ο μισθός μου είναι μετ' εμού, διά να αποδώσω εις έκαστον ως θέλει είσθαι το έργον αυτού. 13Εγώ είμαι το Α και το Ω, αρχή και τέλος, ο πρώτος και ο έσχατος. 14Μακάριοι οι πράττοντες τας εντολάς αυτού, διά να έχωσιν εξουσίαν επί το δένδρον της ζωής και να εισέλθωσι διά των πυλώνων εις την πόλιν. 15Έξω δε είναι οι κύνες και οι μάγοι και οι πόρνοι και οι φονείς και οι ειδωλολάτραι και πας ο αγαπών και πράττων το ψεύδος. 16Εγώ ο Ιησούς έπεμψα τον άγγελόν μου να μαρτυρήση εις εσάς ταύτα εις τας εκκλησίας. Εγώ είμαι η ρίζα και το γένος του Δαβίδ, ο αστήρ ο λαμπρός και ορθρινός. 17Και το Πνεύμα και η νύμφη λέγουσιν· Ελθέ. Και όστις ακούει, ας είπη. Ελθέ. Και όστις διψά, ας έλθη, και όστις θέλει, ας λαμβάνη δωρεάν το ύδωρ της ζωής. 18Διότι μαρτύρομαι εις πάντα ακούοντα τους λόγους της προφητείας του βιβλίου τούτου· Εάν τις επιθέση εις ταύτα, ο Θεός θέλει επιθέσει εις αυτόν τας πληγάς τας γεγραμμένας εν τω βιβλίω τούτω· 19και εάν τις αφαιρέση από των λόγων του βιβλίου της προφητείας ταύτης, ο Θεός θέλει αφαιρέσει το μέρος αυτού από του βιβλίου της ζωής και από της πόλεως της αγίας και των γεγραμμένων εν τω βιβλίω τούτω. 20Λέγει ο μαρτυρών ταύτα· Ναι, έρχομαι ταχέως. Αμήν, ναι, έρχου, Κύριε Ιησού. 21Η χάρις του Κυρίου ημών Ιησού Χριστού είη μετά πάντων υμών· αμήν.

1He showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb, 2in the middle of its street. On this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruits, yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 3There will be no curse any more. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants serve him. 4They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. 5There will be no night, and they need no lamp light; for the Lord God will illuminate them. They will reign forever and ever. 6He said to me, “These words are faithful and true. The Lord God of the spirits of the prophets sent his angel to show to his bondservants the things which must happen soon.” 7“Behold, I come quickly. Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.” 8Now I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. When I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who had shown me these things. 9He said to me, “See you don’t do it! I am a fellow bondservant with you and with your brothers, the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.” 10He said to me, “Don’t seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand. 11He who acts unjustly, let him act unjustly still. He who is filthy, let him be filthy still. He who is righteous, let him do righteousness still. He who is holy, let him be holy still.” 12“Behold, I come quickly. My reward is with me, to repay to each man according to his work. 13I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. 14Blessed are those who do his commandments,that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city. 15Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. 16I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify these things to you for the assemblies. I am the root and the offspring of David; the Bright and Morning Star.” 17The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” He who hears, let him say, “Come!” He who is thirsty, let him come. He who desires, let him take the water of life freely. 18I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book, if anyone adds to them, may God add to him the plagues which are written in this book. 19If anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, may God take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book. 20He who testifies these things says, “Yes, I come quickly.” Amen! Yes, come, Lord Jesus. 21The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with all the saints. Amen.

1En hij toonde mij een zuivere rivier van het water des levens, klaar als kristal, voortkomende uit den troon Gods, en des Lams. 2In het midden van haar straat en op de ene en de andere zijde der rivier was de boom des levens, voortbrengende twaalf vruchten, van maand tot maand gevende zijne vrucht; en de bladeren des booms waren tot genezing der heidenen. 3En geen vervloeking zal er meer tegen iemand zijn; en de troon Gods en des Lams zal daarin zijn, en Zijn dienstknechten zullen Hem dienen; 4En zullen Zijn aangezicht zien, en Zijn Naam zal op hun voorhoofden zijn. 5En aldaar zal geen nacht zijn, en zij zullen geen kaars noch licht der zon van node hebben; want de Heere God verlicht hen; en zij zullen als koningen heersen in alle eeuwigheid. 6En hij zeide tot mij: Deze woorden zijn getrouw en waarachtig; en de Heere, de God der heilige profeten, heeft Zijn engel gezonden, om Zijn dienstknechten te tonen, hetgeen haast moet geschieden. 7Zie, Ik kom haastiglijk zalig is hij, die de woorden der profetie dezes boeks bewaart. 8En ik, Johannes, ben degene, die deze dingen gezien en gehoord heb. En toen ik ze gehoord en gezien had, viel ik neder om aan te bidden voor de voeten des engels, die mij deze dingen toonde. 9En hij zeide tot mij: Zie, dat gij het niet doet; want ik ben uw mededienstknecht, en uwer broederen, der profeten, en dergenen, die de woorden dezes boeks bewaren; aanbid God. 10En hij zeide tot mij: Verzegel de woorden der profetie dezes boeks niet; want de tijd is nabij. 11Die onrecht doet, dat hij nog onrecht doe; en die vuil is, dat hij nog vuil worde; en die rechtvaardig is, dat hij nog gerechtvaardigd worde; en die heilig is, dat hij nog geheiligd worde. 12En zie, Ik kom haastiglijk en Mijn loon is met Mij, om een iegelijk te vergelden, gelijk zijn werk zal zijn. 13Ik ben de Alfa, en de Omega, het Begin en het Einde; de Eerste en de Laatste. 14Zalig zijn zij, die Zijn geboden doen, opdat hun macht zij aan den boom des levens, en zij door de poorten mogen ingaan in de stad. 15Maar buiten zullen zijn de honden, en de tovenaars, en de hoereerders, en de doodslagers, en de afgodendienaars, en een iegelijk, die de leugen liefheeft, en doet. 16Ik, Jezus, heb Mijn engel gezonden om ulieden deze dingen te getuigen in de Gemeenten. Ik ben de Wortel en het geslacht Davids, de blinkende Morgenster. 17En de Geest en de Bruid zeggen: Kom! En die het hoort, zegge: Kom! En die dorst heeft, kome; en die wil, neme het water des levens om niet. 18Want ik betuig aan een iegelijk, die de woorden der profetie dezes boeks hoort: Indien iemand tot deze dingen toedoet, God zal hem toedoen de plagen, die in dit boek geschreven zijn. 19En indien iemand afdoet van de woorden des boeks dezer profetie, God zal zijn deel afdoen uit het boek des levens, en uit de heilige stad, en uit hetgeen in dit boek geschreven is. 20Die deze dingen getuigt, zegt: Ja, Ik kom haastiglijk. Amen. Ja, kom, Heere Jezus! 21De genade van onzen Heere Jezus Christus zij met u allen. Amen.
