Αποκάλυψη 2

1Προς τον άγγελον της εκκλησίας της Εφέσου γράψον. Ταύτα λέγει ο κρατών τους επτά αστέρας εν τη δεξιά αυτού, ο περιπατών εν μέσω των επτά λυχνιών των χρυσών· 2Εξεύρω τα έργα σου και τον κόπον σου και την υπομονήν σου, και ότι δεν δύνασαι να υποφέρης τους κακούς, και εδοκίμασας τους λέγοντας ότι είναι απόστολοι, και δεν είναι, και εύρες αυτούς ψευδείς· 3και υπέφερες και έχεις υπομονήν και διά το όνομά μου εκοπίασας, και δεν απέκαμες. 4Πλην έχω τι κατά σου, διότι την αγάπην σου την πρώτην αφήκας. 5Ενθυμού λοιπόν πόθεν εξέπεσες και μετανόησον και κάμε τα πρώτα έργα· ει δε μη, έρχομαι προς σε ταχέως και θέλω κινήσει την λυχνίαν σου εκ του τόπου αυτής, εάν δεν μετανοήσης. 6Έχεις όμως τούτο, ότι μισείς τα έργα των Νικολαϊτών, τα οποία και εγώ μισώ. 7Όστις έχει ωτίον ας ακούση τι λέγει το Πνεύμα προς τας εκκλησίας. Εις τον νικώντα θέλω δώσει εις αυτόν να φάγη εκ του ξύλου της ζωής, το οποίον είναι εν μέσω του παραδείσου του Θεού. 8Και προς τον άγγελον της εκκλησίας των Σμυρναίων γράψον· Ταύτα λέγει ο πρώτος και ο έσχατος, όστις έγεινε νεκρός και έζησεν· 9Εξεύρω τα έργα σου και την θλίψιν και την πτωχείαν· είσαι όμως πλούσιος· και την βλασφημίαν των λεγόντων εαυτούς ότι είναι Ιουδαίοι και δεν είναι, αλλά συναγωγή του Σατανά. 10Μη φοβού μηδέν εκ των όσα μέλλεις να πάθης. Ιδού, ο διάβολος μέλλει να βάλη τινάς εξ υμών εις φυλακήν διά να δοκιμασθήτε, και θέλετε έχει θλίψιν δέκα ημερών. Γίνου πιστός μέχρι θανάτου, και θέλω σοι δώσει τον στέφανον της ζωής. 11Όστις έχει ωτίον ας ακούση τι λέγει το Πνεύμα προς τας εκκλησίας. Ο νικών δεν θέλει αδικηθή εκ του θανάτου του δευτέρου. 12Και προς τον άγγελον της εν Περγάμω εκκλησίας γράψον· Ταύτα λέγει ο έχων την ρομφαίαν την δίστομον, την οξείαν· 13Εξεύρω τα έργα σου και που κατοικείς· όπου είναι ο θρόνος του Σατανά· και κρατείς το όνομά μου, και δεν ηρνήθης την πίστιν μου και εν ταις ημέραις, εν αις υπήρχεν Αντίπας ο μάρτυς μου ο πιστός, όστις εφονεύθη παρ' υμίν, όπου κατοικεί ο Σατανάς. 14Έχω όμως κατά σου ολίγα, διότι έχεις εκεί τινάς κρατούντας την διδαχήν του Βαλαάμ, όστις εδίδασκε τον Βαλάκ να βάλη σκάνδαλον ενώπιον των υιών Ισραήλ, ώστε να φάγωσιν ειδωλόθυτα και να πορνεύσωσιν. 15Ούτως έχεις και συ τινάς κρατούντας την διδαχήν των Νικολαϊτών, το οποίον μισώ. 16Μετανόησον· ει δε μη, έρχομαι προς σε ταχέως και θέλω πολεμήσει προς αυτούς με την ρομφαίαν του στόματός μου. 17Όστις έχει ωτίον, ας ακούση τι λέγει το Πνεύμα προς τας εκκλησίας. Εις τον νικώντα θέλω δώσει εις αυτόν να φάγη από του μάννα του κεκρυμμένου, και θέλω δώσει εις αυτόν ψήφον λευκήν, και επί την ψήφον όνομα νέον γεγραμμένον, το οποίον ουδείς γνωρίζει ειμή ο λαμβάνων. 18Και προς τον άγγελον της εν Θυατείροις εκκλησίας γράψον· Ταύτα λέγει ο Υιός του Θεού, ο έχων τους οφθαλμούς αυτού ως φλόγα πυρός, και οι πόδες αυτού είναι όμοιοι με χαλκολίβανον· 19Εξεύρω τα έργα σου και την αγάπην και την διακονίαν και την πίστιν και την υπομονήν σου και τα έργα σου και τα έσχατα, ότι είναι πλειότερα των πρώτων. 20Έχω όμως κατά σου ολίγα, διότι αφίνεις την γυναίκα Ιεζάβελ, ήτις λέγει εαυτήν προφήτιν, να διδάσκη και να πλανά τους δούλους μου εις το να πορνεύωσι και να τρώγωσιν ειδωλόθυτα. 21Και έδωκα εις αυτήν καιρόν να μετανοήση εκ της πορνείας αυτής, και δεν μετενόησεν. 22Ιδού, εγώ βάλλω αυτήν εις κλίνην και τους μοιχεύοντας μετ' αυτής εις θλίψιν μεγάλην, εάν δεν μετανοήσωσιν εκ των έργων αυτών, 23και τα τέκνα αυτής θέλω αποκτείνει με θάνατον, και θέλουσι γνωρίσει πάσαι αι εκκλησίαι, ότι εγώ είμαι ο ερευνών νεφρούς και καρδίας, και θέλω σας δώσει εις έκαστον κατά τα έργα σας. 24Λέγω δε προς εσάς και προς τους λοιπούς τους εν Θυατείροις, όσοι δεν έχουσι την διδαχήν ταύτην και οίτινες δεν εγνώρισαν τα βάθη του Σατανά, ως λέγουσι· Δεν θέλω βάλει εφ' υμάς άλλο βάρος· 25πλην εκείνο, το οποίον έχετε, κρατήσατε εωσού έλθω. 26Και όστις νικά και όστις φυλάττει μέχρι τέλους τα έργα μου, θέλω δώσει εις αυτόν εξουσίαν επί των εθνών, 27και θέλει ποιμάνει αυτούς εν ράβδω σιδηρά, θέλουσι συντριφθή ως τα σκεύη του κεραμέως, καθώς και εγώ έλαβον παρά του Πατρός μου, 28και θέλω δώσει εις αυτόν τον αστέρα τον πρωϊνόν. 29Όστις έχει ωτίον ας ακούση τι λέγει το Πνεύμα προς τας εκκλησίας.

1“To the angel of the assembly in Ephesus write: “He who holds the seven stars in his right hand, he who walks among the seven golden lamp stands says these things: 2“I know your works, and your toil and perseverance, and that you can’t tolerate evil men, and have tested those who call themselves apostles, and they are not, and found them false. 3You have perseverance and have endured for my name’s sake, and have not grown weary. 4But I have this against you, that you left your first love. 5Remember therefore from where you have fallen, and repent and do the first works; or else I am coming to you swiftly, and will move your lamp stand out of its place, unless you repent. 6But this you have, that you hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. 7He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes I will give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of my God. 8“To the angel of the assembly in Smyrna write: “The first and the last, who was dead, and has come to life says these things: 9“I know your works, oppression, and your poverty (but you are rich), and the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews, and they are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. 10Don’t be afraid of the things which you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested; and you will have oppression for ten days. Be faithful to death, and I will give you the crown of life. 11He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. He who overcomes won’t be harmed by the second death. 12“To the angel of the assembly in Pergamum write: “He who has the sharp two-edged sword says these things: 13“I know your works and where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is. You hold firmly to my name, and didn’t deny my faith in the days of Antipas my witness, my faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells. 14But I have a few things against you, because you have there some who hold the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to throw a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality. 15So you also have some who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans likewise. 16Repent therefore, or else I am coming to you quickly, and I will make war against them with the sword of my mouth. 17He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes, to him I will give of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no one knows but he who receives it. 18“To the angel of the assembly in Thyatira write: “The Son of God, who has his eyes like a flame of fire, and his feet are like burnished brass, says these things: 19“I know your works, your love, faith, service, patient endurance, and that your last works are more than the first. 20But I have this against you, that you tolerate yourwoman, Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess. She teaches and seduces my servants to commit sexual immorality, and to eat things sacrificed to idols. 21I gave her time to repent, but she refuses to repent of her sexual immorality. 22Behold, I will throw her into a bed, and those who commit adultery with her into great oppression, unless they repent of her works. 23I will kill her children with Death, and all the assemblies will know that I am he who searches the minds and hearts. I will give to each one of you according to your deeds. 24But to you I say, to the rest who are in Thyatira, as many as don’t have this teaching, who don’t know what some call ‘the deep things of Satan,’ to you I say, I am not putting any other burden on you. 25Nevertheless, hold that which you have firmly until I come. 26He who overcomes, and he who keeps my works to the end, to him I will give authority over the nations. 27He will rule them with a rod of iron, shattering them like clay pots;as I also have received of my Father: 28and I will give him the morning star. 29He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.

1Schrijf aan den engel der Gemeente van Efeze: Dit zegt Hij, Die de zeven sterren in Zijn rechter hand houdt, Die in het midden der zeven gouden kandelaren wandelt: 2Ik weet uw werken, en uw arbeid, en uw lijdzaamheid, en dat gij de kwaden niet kunt dragen; en dat gij beproefd hebt degenen, die uitgeven, dat zij apostelen zijn, en zij zijn het niet; en hebt ze leugenaars bevonden; 3En gij hebt verdragen, en hebt geduld; en gij hebt om Mijns Naams wil gearbeid, en zijt niet moede geworden. 4Maar Ik heb tegen u, dat gij uw eerste liefde hebt verlaten. 5Gedenk dan, waarvan gij uitgevallen zijt, en bekeer u, en doe de eerste werken; en zo niet, Ik zal u haastelijk bij komen, en zal uw kandelaar van zijn plaats weren, indien gij u niet bekeert. 6Maar dit hebt gij, dat gij de werken der Nikolaieten haat, welke Ik ook haat. 7Die oren heeft, die hore wat de Geest tot de Gemeenten zegt. Die overwint, Ik zal hem geven te eten van den boom des levens, die in het midden van het paradijs Gods is. 8En schrijf aan den engel der Gemeente van die van Smyrna: Dit zegt de Eerste en de Laatste, Die dood geweest is, en weder levend is geworden: 9Ik weet uw werken, en verdrukking, en armoede (doch gij zijt rijk), en de lastering dergenen, die zeggen, dat zij Joden zijn, en zijn het niet, maar zijn een synagoge des satans. 10Vrees geen der dingen, die gij lijden zult. Ziet, de duivel zal enigen van ulieden in de gevangenis werpen, opdat gij verzocht wordt; en gij zult een verdrukking hebben van tien dagen. Zijt getrouw tot den dood, en Ik zal u geven de kroon des levens. 11Die oren heeft, die hore wat de Geest tot de Gemeenten zegt. Die overwint, zal van den tweeden dood niet beschadigd worden. 12En schrijf aan den engel der Gemeente, die in Pergamus is: Dit zegt Hij, Die het tweesnijdend scherp zwaard heeft: 13Ik weet uw werken, en waar gij woont; namelijk daar de troon des satans is, en gij houdt Mijn Naam, en hebt Mijn geloof niet verloochend, ook in die dagen, in welke Antipas, Mijn getrouwe getuige was, welke gedood is bij ulieden, daar de satan woont. 14Maar Ik heb enige weinige dingen tegen u, dat gij aldaar hebt, die de lering van Balaam houden, die Balak leerde den kinderen Israels een aanstoot voor te werpen, opdat zij zouden afgodenoffer eten en hoereren. 15Alzo hebt ook gij, die de lering der Nikolaieten houden; hetwelk Ik haat. 16Bekeer u; en zo niet, Ik zal u haastelijk bij komen, en zal tegen hen krijg voeren met het zwaard Mijns monds. 17Die oren heeft, die hore, wat de Geest tot de Gemeenten zegt. Die overwint, Ik zal hem geven te eten van het manna, dat verborgen is, en Ik zal hem geven een witten keursteen, en op den keursteen een nieuwen naam geschreven, welken niemand kent, dan die hem ontvangt. 18En schrijf aan den engel der Gemeente te Thyatire: Dit zegt de Zoon van God, Die Zijn ogen heeft als een vlam vuurs, en Zijn voeten zijn blinkend koper gelijk: 19Ik weet uw werken, en liefde, en dienst, en geloof, en uw lijdzaamheid, en uw werken, en dat de laatste meer zijn dan de eerste. 20Maar Ik heb enige weinige dingen tegen u, dat gij de vrouw Jezabel, die zichzelve zegt een profetes te zijn, laat leren, en Mijn dienstknechten verleiden, dat zij hoereren en afgodenoffer eten. 21En Ik heb haar tijd gegeven, opdat zij zich zou bekeren van haar hoererij, en zij heeft zich niet bekeerd. 22Zie, Ik werp haar te bed, en die met haar overspel bedrijven, in grote verdrukking, zo zij zich niet bekeren van hun werken. 23En haar kinderen zal Ik door den dood ombrengen; en al de Gemeenten zullen weten, dat Ik het ben, Die nieren en harten onderzoek. En Ik zal ulieden geven een iegelijk naar uw werken. 24Doch Ik zeg ulieden, en tot de anderen, die te Thyatire zijn, zovelen, als er deze leer niet hebben, en die de diepten des satans niet gekend hebben, gelijk zij zeggen: Ik zal u geen anderen last opleggen; 25Maar hetgeen gij hebt, houdt dat, totdat Ik zal komen. 26En die overwint, en die Mijn werken tot het einde toe bewaart, Ik zal hem macht geven over de heidenen; 27En hij zal ze hoeden met een ijzeren staf; zij zullen als pottenbakkersvaten vermorzeld worden; gelijk ook Ik van Mijn Vader ontvangen heb. 28En Ik zal hem de morgenster geven. 29Die oren heeft, die hore wat de Geest tot de Gemeenten zegt.
