Осија 1

1Реч Господња која дође Осији сину Веиријевом за времена Озије, Јоатама, Ахаза и Језекије царева Јудиних и за времена Јеровоама сина Јоасовог цара Израиљевог. 2Кад Господ поче говорити Осији, рече Господ Осији: Иди, ожени се курвом, и роди копилад, јер се земља прокурва одступивши од Господа. 3И отиде, и узе Гомеру, кћер дивлаимску, која затрудне и роди му сина. 4Тада му рече Господ: Надени му име Језраел; јер још мало, па ћу походити крв језраелску на дому Јујевом и укинућу царство дома Израиљевог. 5И у то ћу време сломити лук Израиљев у долини језраелској. 6И она опет затрудне и роди кћер; и Господ му рече: Надени јој име Лорухама: јер се више нећу смиловати на дом Израиљев, него ћу их укинути сасвим. 7А на дом Јудин смиловаћу се, и избавићу их Господом Богом њиховим, а нећу их избавити луком ни мачем ни ратом ни коњима ни коњицима. 8Потом одбивши од сисе Лорухаму опет затрудне и роди сина. 9И рече Господ: Надени му име Лоамија; јер ви нисте мој народ, нити ћу ја бити ваш. 10Али ће ипак број синова Израиљевих бити као песак морски, који се не може измерити ни избројати; и место да им се рече: Нисте мој народ, рећи ће им се: Синови Бога Живога. 11И сабраће се синови Јудини и синови Израиљеви у једно, и поставиће себи једног поглавара и отићи ће из земље, јер ће бити велик дан језраелски.

1Yahweh’s word that came to Hosea the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel. 2When Yahweh spoke at first by Hosea, Yahweh said to Hosea, “Go, take for yourself a wife of prostitution and children of unfaithfulness; for the land commits great adultery, forsaking Yahweh.” 3So he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim; and she conceived, and bore him a son. 4Yahweh said to him, “Call his name Jezreel; for yet a little while, and I will avenge the blood of Jezreel on the house of Jehu, and will cause the kingdom of the house of Israel to cease. 5It will happen in that day that I will break the bow of Israel in the valley of Jezreel.” 6She conceived again, and bore a daughter. Then he said to him, “Call her name Lo-Ruhamah; for I will no longer have mercy on the house of Israel, that I should in any way pardon them. 7But I will have mercy on the house of Judah, and will save them by Yahweh their God, and will not save them by bow, sword, battle, horses, or horsemen.” 8Now when she had weaned Lo-Ruhamah, she conceived, and bore a son. 9He said, “Call his name Lo-Ammi; for you are not my people, and I will not be yours. 10Yet the number of the children of Israel will be as the sand of the sea, which can’t be measured nor numbered; and it will come to pass that, in the place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’ they will be called ‘sons of the living God.’ 11The children of Judah and the children of Israel will be gathered together, and they will appoint themselves one head, and will go up from the land; for great will be the day of Jezreel.

1Het woord des HEEREN, dat geschied is tot Hosea, den zoon van Beeri, in de dagen van Uzzia, Jotham, Achaz, Hizkia, koningen van Juda, en in de dagen van Jerobeam, zoon van Joas, koning van Israel. 2Het begin van het woord des HEEREN door Hosea. De HEERE dan zeide tot Hosea: Ga henen, neem u een vrouw der hoererijen, en kinderen der hoererijen; want het land hoereert ganselijk van achter den HEERE. 3Zo ging hij henen, en nam Gomer, een dochter van Diblaim; en zij ontving; en baarde hem een zoon. 4En de HEERE zeide tot hem: Noem zijn naam Jizreel, want nog een weinig tijds, zo zal Ik de bloedschulden van Jizreel bezoeken over het huis van Jehu, en zal het koninkrijk van het huis van Israel doen ophouden. 5En het zal te dien dage geschieden, dat Ik Israels boog verbreken zal, in het dal van Jizreel. 6En zij ontving wederom, en baarde een dochter; en Hij zeide tot hem: Noem haar naam Lo-Ruchama; want Ik zal Mij voortaan niet meer ontfermen over het huis Israels, maar Ik zal ze zekerlijk wegvoeren. 7Maar over het huis van Juda zal Ik Mij ontfermen, en zal ze verlossen door den HEERE, hun God, en Ik zal ze niet verlossen door boog, noch door zwaard, noch door krijg, door paarden noch door ruiteren. 8Als zij nu Lo-Ruchama gespeend had, ontving zij, en baarde een zoon. 9En Hij zeide: Noem zijn naam Lo-Ammi; want gijlieden zijt Mijn volk niet, zo zal Ik ook de uwe niet zijn. 10Nochtans zal het getal der kinderen Israels zijn als het zand der zee, dat niet gemeten noch geteld kan worden; en het zal geschieden, dat ter plaatse, waar tot hen gezegd zal zijn: Gijlieden zijt Mijn volk niet; tot hen gezegd zal worden: Gij zijt kinderen des levenden Gods. 11En de kinderen van Juda, en de kinderen Israels zullen samenvergaderd worden, en zich een enig hoofd stellen, en uit het land optrekken; want de dag van Jizreel zal groot zijn.
