1И было ко мне слово Господне: 2сын человеческий! обрати лице твое к горам Израилевым и прореки на них, 3и скажи: горы Израилевы! слушайте слово Господа Бога. Так говорит Господь Бог горам и холмам, долинам и лощинам: вот, Я наведу на вас меч, и разрушу высоты ваши; 4и жертвенники ваши будут опустошены, столбы ваши в честь солнца будут разбиты, и повергну убитых ваших перед идолами вашими; 5и положу трупы сынов Израилевых перед идолами их, и рассыплю кости ваши вокруг жертвенников ваших. 6Во всех местах вашего жительства города будут опустошены и высоты разрушены, для того, чтобы опустошены и разрушены были жертвенники ваши, чтобы сокрушены и уничтожены были идолы ваши, и разбиты солнечные столбы ваши, и изгладились произведения ваши. 7И будут падать среди вас убитые, и узнаете, что Я Господь. 8Но Я сберегу остаток, так что будут у вас среди народов уцелевшие от меча, когда вы будете рассеяны по землям. 9И вспомнят о Мне уцелевшие ваши среди народов, куда будут отведены в плен, когда Я приведу в сокрушение блудное сердце их, отпавшее от Меня, и глаза их, блудившие вслед идолов; и они к самим себе почувствуют отвращение за то зло, какое они делали во всех мерзостях своих; 10и узнают, что Я Господь; не напрасно говорил Я, что наведу на них такое бедствие. 11Так говорит Господь Бог: всплесни руками твоими и топни ногою твоею, и скажи: горе за все гнусные злодеяния дома Израилева! падут они от меча, голода и моровой язвы. 12Кто вдали, тот умрет от моровой язвы; а кто близко, тот падет от меча; а оставшийся и уцелевший умрет от голода; так совершу над ними гнев Мой. 13И узнаете, что Я Господь, когда пораженные будут лежать между идолами своими вокруг жертвенников их, на всяком высоком холме, на всех вершинах гор и под всяким зеленеющим деревом, и под всяким ветвистым дубом, на том месте, где они приносили благовонные курения всем идолам своим. 14И простру на них руку Мою, и сделаю землю пустынею и степью, от пустыни Дивлаф, во всех местах жительства их, и узнают, что Я Господь.

1Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 2Son of man, set your face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy to them, 3and say, You mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Yahweh: Thus says the Lord Yahweh to the mountains and to the hills, to the watercourses and to the valleys: Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword on you, and I will destroy your high places. 4Your altars shall become desolate, and your incense altars shall be broken; and I will cast down your slain men before your idols. 5I will lay the dead bodies of the children of Israel before their idols; and I will scatter your bones around your altars. 6In all your dwelling places the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease, and your incense altars may be cut down, and your works may be abolished. 7The slain shall fall in your midst, and you shall know that I am Yahweh. 8Yet will I leave a remnant, in that you shall have some that escape the sword among the nations, when you shall be scattered through the countries. 9Those of you that escape shall remember me among the nations where they shall be carried captive, how that I have been broken with their lewd heart, which has departed from me, and with their eyes, which play the prostitute after their idols: and they shall loathe themselves in their own sight for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations. 10They shall know that I am Yahweh: I have not said in vain that I would do this evil to them. 11Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Strike with your hand, and stamp with your foot, and say, Alas! because of all the evil abominations of the house of Israel; for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence. 12He who is far off shall die of the pestilence; and he who is near shall fall by the sword; and he who remains and is besieged shall die by the famine: thus will I accomplish my wrath on them. 13You shall know that I am Yahweh, when their slain men shall be among their idols around their altars, on every high hill, on all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, the places where they offered pleasant aroma to all their idols. 14I will stretch out my hand on them, and make the land desolate and waste, from the wilderness toward Diblah, throughout all their habitations: and they shall know that I am Yahweh.

1En het woord des HEEREN geschiedde tot mij, zeggende: 2Mensenkind, zet uw aangezicht tegen de bergen Israels, en profeteer tegen dezelve; 3En zeg: Gij bergen Israels, hoort het woord des Heeren HEEREN! Zo zegt de Heere HEERE tot de bergen en tot de heuvelen, tot de beken en tot de dalen: Ziet, Ik, Ik breng over u het zwaard, en Ik zal uw hoogten verderven. 4Daartoe zullen uw altaren verwoest, en uw zonnebeelden verbroken worden; en Ik zal uw verslagenen nedervellen voor het aangezicht uwer drekgoden. 5En Ik zal de dode lichamen der kinderen Israels voor het aangezicht hunner drekgoden leggen, en Ik zal uw beenderen rondom uw altaren strooien. 6In al uw woningen zullen de steden verwoest en de hoogten tot wildernis worden, opdat uw altaren woest en eenzaam zijn, en uw drekgoden verbroken worden en ophouden, en uw zonnebeelden afgehouwen, en uw werken uitgedelgd worden. 7En de verslagenen zullen in het midden van u liggen, opdat gij weet, dat Ik de HEERE ben. 8Ik zal dan nog een overblijfsel laten, als gij enigen zult hebben, die het zwaard ontkomen onder de heidenen, wanneer gij in de landen zult verstrooid worden. 9Dan zullen uw ontkomenen Mijner gedenken onder de heidenen, waar zij gevankelijk zullen geworden zijn, omdat Ik verbroken ben door hun hoerachtig hart, dat van Mij afgeweken is, en door hun ogen, die hun drekgoden nahoereren; en zij zullen een walging aan zichzelven hebben over de boosheden, die zij in al hun gruwelen gedaan hebben. 10En zij zullen weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben; Ik heb niet tevergeefs gesproken, van hun dit kwaad aan te doen. 11Zo zegt de Heere HEERE: Sla met uw hand, en stamp met uw voet, en zeg: Ach, over alle gruwelen der boosheden van het huis Israels; want zij zullen door het zwaard, door den honger en door de pestilentie vallen. 12Die verre af is, zal door de pest sterven, en die nabij is, zal door het zwaard vallen; maar die overgebleven en belegerd is, zal door honger sterven; alzo zal Ik Mijn grimmigheid tegen hen volbrengen. 13Dan zult gij weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben, als hun verslagenen in het midden hunner drekgoden rondom hun altaren wezen zullen op alle hoge heuvelen, op alle toppen der bergen, en onder allen groenen boom, en onder alle dichte eiken, de plaats, alwaar zij al hun drekgoden liefelijken reuk maakten. 14Daarom zal Ik Mijn hand over hen uitstrekken, en zal het land woest maken, ja, woester dan de woestijn naar Diblath henen, in al hun woningen; en zij zullen bevinden, dat Ik de HEERE ben.
