1И привел он меня обратно ко внешним воротам святилища, обращенным лицом на восток, и они были затворены. 2И сказал мне Господь: ворота сии будут затворены, не отворятся, и никакой человек не войдет ими, ибо Господь, Бог Израилев, вошел ими, и они будут затворены. 3Что до князя, он, как князь, сядет в них, чтобы есть хлеб пред Господом; войдет путем притвора этих ворот, и тем же путем выйдет. 4Потом привел меня путем ворот северных перед лице храма, и я видел, и вот, слава Господа наполняла дом Господа, и пал я на лице мое. 5И сказал мне Господь: сын человеческий! прилагай сердце твое ко всему, и смотри глазами твоими, и слушай ушами твоими все, что Я говорю тебе о всех постановлениях дома Господа и всех законах его; и прилагай сердце твое ко входу в храм и ко всем выходам из святилища. 6И скажи мятежному дому Израилеву: так говорит Господь Бог: довольно вам, дом Израилев, делать все мерзости ваши, 7вводить сынов чужой, необрезанных сердцем и необрезанных плотью, чтобы они были в Моем святилище и оскверняли храм Мой, подносить хлеб Мой, тук и кровь, и разрушать завет Мой всякими мерзостями вашими. 8Вы не исполняли стражи у святынь Моих, а ставили вместо себя их для стражи в Моем святилище. 9Так говорит Господь Бог: никакой сын чужой, необрезанный сердцем и необрезанный плотью, не должен входить во святилище Мое, даже и тот сын чужой, который живет среди сынов Израиля. 10Равно и левиты, которые удалились от Меня во время отступничества Израилева, которые, оставив Меня, блуждали вслед идолов своих, понесут наказание за вину свою. 11Они будут служить во святилище Моем, как сторожа у ворот храма и прислужники у храма; они будут заколать для народа всесожжение и другие жертвы, и будут стоять пред ними для служения им. 12За то, что они служили им пред идолами их и были для дома Израилева соблазном к нечестию, Я поднял на них руку Мою, говорит Господь Бог, и они понесут наказание за вину свою; 13они не будут приближаться ко Мне, чтобы священнодействовать предо Мною и приступать ко всем святыням Моим, к Святому Святых, но будут нести на себе бесславие свое и мерзости свои, какие делали. 14Сделаю их стражами храма для всех служб его и для всего, что производится в нем. 15А священники из колена Левиина, сыны Садока, которые, во время отступления сынов Израилевых от Меня, постоянно стояли на страже святилища Моего, те будут приближаться ко Мне, чтобы служить Мне, и будут предстоять пред лицем Моим, чтобы приносить Мне тук и кровь, говорит Господь Бог. 16Они будут входить во святилище Мое и приближаться к трапезе Моей, чтобы служить Мне и соблюдать стражу Мою. 17Когда придут к воротам внутреннего двора, тогда оденутся в одежды льняные, а шерстяное не должно быть на них во время служения их в воротах внутреннего двора и внутри храма. 18Увясла на головах их должны быть также льняные; и исподняя одежда на чреслах их должна быть также льняная; в поту они не должны опоясываться. 19А когда надобно будет выйти на внешний двор, на внешний двор к народу, тогда они должны будут снять одежды свои, в которых они служили, и оставить их в священных комнатах, и одеться в другие одежды, чтобы священными одеждами своими не прикасаться к народу. 20И головы своей они не должны брить, и не должны отпускать волос, а пусть непременно стригут головы свои. 21И вина не должен пить ни один священник, когда идет во внутренний двор. 22Ни вдовы, ни разведенной с мужем они не должны брать себе в жены, а только могут брать себе девиц из племени дома Израилева и вдову, оставшуюся вдовою от священника. 23Они должны учить народ Мой отличать священное от несвященного и объяснять им, что нечисто и что чисто. 24При спорных делах они должны присутствовать в суде, и по уставам Моим судить их, и наблюдать законы Мои и постановления Мои о всех праздниках Моих, и свято хранить субботы Мои. 25К мертвому человеку никто из них не должен подходить, чтобы не сделаться нечистым; только ради отца и матери, ради сына и дочери, брата и сестры, которая не была замужем, можно им сделать себя нечистыми. 26По очищении же такого, еще семь дней надлежит отсчитать ему. 27И в тот день, когда ему надобно будет приступать ко святыне во внутреннем дворе, чтобы служить при святыне, он должен принести жертву за грех, говорит Господь Бог. 28А что до удела их, то Я их удел. И владения не давайте им в Израиле: Я их владение. 29Они будут есть от хлебного приношения, от жертвы за грех и жертвы за преступление; и все заклятое у Израиля им же принадлежит. 30И начатки из всех плодов ваших и всякого рода приношения, из чего ни состояли бы приношения ваши, принадлежат священникам; и начатки молотого вами отдавайте священнику, чтобы над домом твоим почивало благословение. 31Никакой мертвечины и ничего, растерзанного зверем, ни из птиц, ни из скота, не должны есть священники.

1Then he brought me back by the way of the outer gate of the sanctuary, which looks toward the east; and it was shut. 2Yahweh said to me, This gate shall be shut; it shall not be opened, neither shall any man enter in by it; for Yahweh, the God of Israel, has entered in by it; therefore it shall be shut. 3As for the prince, he shall sit therein as prince to eat bread before Yahweh; he shall enter by the way of the porch of the gate, and shall go out by the way of the same. 4Then he brought me by the way of the north gate before the house; and I looked, and behold, Yahweh’s glory filled Yahweh’s house: and I fell on my face. 5Yahweh said to me, Son of man, mark well, and see with your eyes, and hear with your ears all that I tell you concerning all the ordinances of Yahweh’s house, and all its laws; and mark well the entrance of the house, with every exit of the sanctuary. 6You shall tell the rebellious, even to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: you house of Israel, let it suffice you of all your abominations, 7in that you have brought in foreigners, uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in my sanctuary, to profane it, even my house, when you offer my bread, the fat and the blood, and they have broken my covenant, to add to all your abominations. 8You have not performed the duty of my holy things; but you have set performers of my duty in my sanctuary for yourselves. 9Thus says the Lord Yahweh, No foreigner, uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any foreigners who are among the children of Israel. 10But the Levites who went far from me, when Israel went astray, who went astray from me after their idols, they shall bear their iniquity. 11Yet they shall be ministers in my sanctuary, having oversight at the gates of the house, and ministering in the house: they shall kill the burnt offering and the sacrifice for the people, and they shall stand before them to minister to them. 12Because they ministered to them before their idols, and became a stumbling block of iniquity to the house of Israel; therefore have I lifted up my hand against them, says the Lord Yahweh, and they shall bear their iniquity. 13They shall not come near to me, to execute the office of priest to me, nor to come near to any of my holy things, to the things that are most holy; but they shall bear their shame, and their abominations which they have committed. 14Yet will I make them performers of the duty of the house, for all its service, and for all that shall be done therein. 15But the priests the Levites, the sons of Zadok, who performed the duty of my sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from me, they shall come near to me to minister to me; and they shall stand before me to offer to me the fat and the blood, says the Lord Yahweh: 16they shall enter into my sanctuary, and they shall come near to my table, to minister to me, and they shall keep my instruction. 17It shall be that, when they enter in at the gates of the inner court, they shall be clothed with linen garments; and no wool shall come on them, while they minister in the gates of the inner court, and within. 18They shall have linen tires on their heads, and shall have linen breeches on their waists; they shall not clothe themselves with anything that makes them sweat. 19When they go out into the outer court, even into the outer court to the people, they shall put off their garments in which they minister, and lay them in the holy rooms; and they shall put on other garments, that they not sanctify the people with their garments. 20Neither shall they shave their heads, nor allow their locks to grow long; they shall only cut off the hair of their heads. 21Neither shall any of the priests drink wine, when they enter into the inner court. 22Neither shall they take for their wives a widow, nor her who is put away; but they shall take virgins of the seed of the house of Israel, or a widow who is the widow of a priest. 23They shall teach my people the difference between the holy and the common, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean. 24In a controversy they shall stand to judge; according to my ordinances shall they judge it: and they shall keep my laws and my statutes in all my appointed feasts; and they shall make my Sabbaths holy. 25They shall go in to no dead person to defile themselves; but for father, or for mother, or for son, or for daughter, for brother, or for sister who has had no husband, they may defile themselves. 26After he is cleansed, they shall reckon to him seven days. 27In the day that he goes into the sanctuary, into the inner court, to minister in the sanctuary, he shall offer his sin offering, says the Lord Yahweh. 28They shall have an inheritance: I am their inheritance; and you shall give them no possession in Israel; I am their possession. 29They shall eat the meal offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; and every devoted thing in Israel shall be theirs. 30The first of all the first fruits of every thing, and every offering of everything, of all your offerings, shall be for the priest: you shall also give to the priests the first of your dough, to cause a blessing to rest on your house. 31The priests shall not eat of anything that dies of itself, or is torn, whether it be bird or animal.

1Toen deed hij mij wederkeren den weg naar de poort van het buitenste heiligdom, die naar het oosten zag; en die was toegesloten. 2En de HEERE zeide tot mij: Deze poort zal toegesloten zijn, zij zal niet geopend worden, noch iemand door dezelve ingaan, omdat de HEERE, de God Israels, door dezelve is ingegaan; daarom zal zij toegesloten zijn. 3De vorst, de vorst, die zal in dezelve zitten, om brood te eten voor het aangezicht des HEEREN; door den weg van het voorhuis der poort zal hij ingaan, en door den weg van hetzelve zal hij uitgaan. 4Daarna bracht hij mij den weg der noorderpoort, voor aan het huis; en ik zag, en ziet, de heerlijkheid des HEEREN had het huis des HEEREN vervuld; toen viel ik op mijn aangezicht. 5En de HEERE zeide tot mij: Mensenkind! zet er uw hart op, en zie met uw ogen, en hoor met uw oren alles, wat Ik met u spreken zal, van alle inzettingen van het huis des HEEREN, en van al zijn wetten; en zet uw hart op den ingang van het huis, met alle uitgangen des heiligdoms. 6En zeg tot die wederspannigen, tot het huis Israels: Zo zegt de Heere HEERE: Het is te veel voor ulieden, vanwege al uw gruwelen, o huis Israels. 7Dewijl gijlieden vreemden hebt ingebracht, onbesnedenen van hart en onbesnedenen van vlees, om in Mijn heiligdom te zijn, om dat te ontheiligen, te weten Mijn huis; als gij Mijn brood, het vette en het bloed offerdet, en zij Mijn verbond verbraken, nevens al uw gruwelen. 8En gijlieden hebt de wacht van Mijn heilige dingen niet waargenomen; maar gij hebt uzelven enigen tot wachters Mijner wacht gesteld in Mijn heiligdom. 9Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Geen vreemde, onbesneden van hart, en onbesneden van vlees, zal in Mijn heiligdom ingaan, van enigen vreemde, die in het midden der kinderen Israels is. 10Maar de Levieten, die verre van Mij geweken zijn, als Israel ging dolen, die van Mij zijn afgedwaald, hun drekgoden achterna, zullen wel hun ongerechtigheid dragen; 11Nochtans zullen zij in Mijn heiligdom bedienaars zijn, in de ambten aan de poorten van het huis, en zij zullen het huis bedienen; zij zullen het brandoffer en het slachtoffer voor het volk slachten, en zullen voor hun aangezicht staan, om hen te dienen; 12Omdat zij henlieden gediend hebben voor het aangezicht hunner drekgoden, en den huize Israels tot een aanstoot der ongerechtigheid geweest zijn, daarom heb Ik Mijn hand tegen hen opgeheven, spreekt de Heere HEERE, dat zij hun ongerechtigheid zullen dragen. 13En zij zullen tot Mij niet naderen, om Mij het priesterambt te bedienen, en om te naderen tot al Mijn heilige dingen, tot de allerheiligste dingen; maar zullen hun schande dragen, en hun gruwelen, die zij gedaan hebben. 14Daarom zal Ik hen stellen tot wachters van de wacht des huizes, aan al zijn dienst, en aan alles, wat daarin zal gedaan worden. 15Maar de Levietische priesters, de kinderen van Zadok, die de wacht Mijns heiligdoms hebben waargenomen, als de kinderen Israels van Mij afdwaalden, die zullen tot Mij naderen, om Mij te dienen; en zullen voor Mijn aangezicht staan, om Mij het vette en het bloed te offeren, spreekt de Heere HEERE; 16Die zullen in Mijn heiligdom ingaan, en die zullen tot Mijn tafel naderen, om Mij te dienen, en zij zullen Mijn wacht waarnemen. 17En het zal geschieden, als zij tot de poorten van het binnenste voorhof zullen ingaan, dat zij linnen klederen zullen aantrekken; maar wol zal op hen niet komen, als zij dienen in de poorten van het binnenste voorhof, en inwaarts. 18Linnen huiven zullen op hun hoofd zijn, en linnen onderbroeken zullen op hun lenden zijn; zij zullen zich niet gorden in het zweet. 19En als zij uitgaan tot het buitenste voorhof, namelijk tot het buitenste voorhof tot het volk, zullen zij hun klederen, in dewelke zij gediend hebben, uittrekken, en dezelve henenleggen in de heilige kameren; en zullen andere klederen aantrekken, opdat zij het volk niet heiligen met hun klederen. 20En zij zullen hun hoofd niet glad afscheren, ook de lokken niet lang laten wassen; behoorlijk zullen zij hun hoofden bescheren. 21Ook zal geen priester wijn drinken, als zij in het binnenste voorhof zullen ingaan. 22Ook zullen zij zich geen weduwe of verstotene tot vrouwen nemen; maar jonge dochters van het zaad van het huis Israels, of een weduwe, die een weduwe zal geweest zijn van een priester, zullen zij nemen. 23En zij zullen Mijn volk onderscheid leren tussen het heilige en onheilige, en hun bekend maken het onderscheid tussen het onreine en reine. 24En over een twistzaak zullen zij staan om te richten; naar Mijn rechten zullen zij hen richten; en zij zullen Mijn wetten en Mijn inzettingen op al Mijn gezette hoogtijden houden, en Mijn sabbatten heiligen. 25Ook zal geen van hen tot een doden mens ingaan, dat hij onrein worde; maar om een vader, of om een moeder, of om een zoon, of om een dochter, om een broeder of om een zuster, die geens mans geweest is, zullen zij zich mogen verontreinigen. 26En na zijn reiniging zullen zij hem zeven dagen tellen. 27En ten dage, als hij in het heilige zal ingaan, in het binnenste voorhof, om in het heilige te dienen, zal hij zijn zondoffer offeren, spreekt de Heere HEERE. 28Dit nu zal hun tot een erfenis zijn: Ik ben hun Erfenis; daarom zult gij hunlieden geen bezitting geven in Israel; Ik ben hun Bezitting. 29Het spijsoffer, en het zondoffer, en het schuldoffer, die zullen zij eten; ook zal al het verbannene in Israel het hunne zijn. 30En de eerstelingen van alle eerste vruchten van alles, en alle hefoffer van alles, van al uw hefofferen, zullen der priesteren zijn; ook zult gij de eerstelingen van uw deeg den priester geven, om den zegen op uw huis te doen rusten. 31Geen aas, noch wat verscheurd is van het gevogelte, of van het vee, zullen de priesters eten.
