1Jesus entrou outra vez numa sinagoga; e estava ali um homem que tinha uma mão definhada. 2E prestavam atenção nele, se o curaria no sábado, para o acusarem. 3E Jesus disse ao homem que tinha a mão definhada: Levanta-te, e vem para o meio. 4E disse-lhes:É lícito no sábado fazer o bem, ou o mal? Salvar uma pessoa, ou matá-la? E mantiveram-se calados. 5E olhando ao redor para eles com indignação, sentindo pena da dureza dos seus corações, disse ao homem: Estende a mão. E ele estendeu; e sua mão foi restaurada . 6Assim que os fariseus saíram, tiveram reunião com os herodianos contra ele, para combinarem sobre como o matariam. 7E Jesus retirou-se com os seus discípulos para o mar; e seguiu-o uma grande multidão da Galileia, da Judeia, 8de Jerusalém, da Idumeia, dalém do Jordão, e das proximidades de Tiro e de Sidom; uma grande multidão, tendo ouvido quão grandes coisas fazia, vieram a ele. 9E disse aos seus discípulos que um barquinho ficasse continuamente perto dele, por causa das multidões; para que não o apertassem. 10Pois havia curado muitos, de maneira que todos quantos tinham algum mal lançavam-se sobre ele a fim de tocá-lo. 11E os espíritos imundos, quando o viam, prostravam-se diante dele, e exclamavam: Tu és o Filho de Deus. 12Mas Jesus os repreendia muito, para que não manifestassem quem ele era. 13Ele subiu ao monte, e chamou para si os que quis; então vieram a ele. 14E constituiu doze para que estivessem com ele, para enviá-los a pregar, 15para que tivessem poder de expulsar os demônios. 16Eram eles: Simão, a quem pôs por nome Pedro; 17Tiago filho de Zebedeu, e João, irmão de Tiago; e pôs-lhes por nome Boanerges, que significa “filhos do trovão”; 18e André, Filipe, Bartolomeu, Mateus, Tomé; Tiago filho de Alfeu; Tadeu; Simão o zelote; 19e Judas Iscariotes, o que o traiu. 20Quando Jesus foi para uma casa, outra vez se ajuntou uma multidão, de maneira que nem sequer podiam comer pão. 21Os seus familiares , ao ouvirem isso, saíram para detê-lo, porque diziam: “Ele stá fora de si”. 22E os escribas que haviam descido de Jerusalém diziam: Ele tem Belzebu, e é pelo chefe dos demônios que expulsa demônios. 23Então Jesus os chamou, e lhes disse por parábolas: Como pode Satanás expulsar Satanás? 24Se algum reino estiver dividido contra si mesmo, tal reino não pode durar; 25e se alguma casa estiver dividida contra si mesma, tal casa não pode durar firme. 26E se Satanás se levantar contra si mesmo, e for dividido, não pode durar, mas tem fim. 27Ninguém pode roubar os bens do valente, quando se entra na casa dele, se antes não amarrar ao valente; depois disso roubará a sua casa. 28Em verdade vos digo que todos os pecados serão perdoados aos filhos dos homens, e todas as blasfêmias com que blasfemarem; 29mas quem blasfemar contra o Espírito Santo ficará sem perdão para sempre; em vez disso, é culpado do pecado eterno. 30Pois diziam: “Ele tem espírito imundo”. 31Então chegaram a sua mãe e os seus irmãos; e estando de fora, mandaram chamá-lo. 32A multidão estava sentada ao redor dele. 1He entered again into the synagogue, and there was a man there who had his hand withered. 2They watched him, whether he would heal him on the Sabbath day, that they might accuse him. 3He said to the man who had his hand withered, “Stand up.” 4He said to them, “Is it lawful on the Sabbath day to do good, or to do harm? To save a life, or to kill?” But they were silent. 5When he had looked around at them with anger, being grieved at the hardening of their hearts, he said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out, and his hand was restored as healthy as the other. 6The Pharisees went out, and immediately conspired with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him. 7Jesus withdrew to the sea with his disciples, and a great multitude followed him from Galilee, from Judea, 8from Jerusalem, from Idumaea, beyond the Jordan, and those from around Tyre and Sidon. A great multitude, hearing what great things he did, came to him. 9He spoke to his disciples that a little boat should stay near him because of the crowd, so that they wouldn’t press on him. 10For he had healed many, so that as many as had diseases pressed on him that they might touch him. 11The unclean spirits, whenever they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, “You are the Son of God!” 12He sternly warned them that they should not make him known. 13He went up into the mountain, and called to himself those whom he wanted, and they went to him. 14He appointed twelve, that they might be with him, and that he might send them out to preach, 15and to have authority to heal sicknesses and to cast out demons: 16Simon, to whom he gave the name Peter; 17James the son of Zebedee; John, the brother of James, and he called them Boanerges, which means, Sons of Thunder; 18Andrew; Philip; Bartholomew; Matthew; Thomas; James, the son of Alphaeus; Thaddaeus; Simon the Zealot; 19and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him. He came into a house. 20The multitude came together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread. 21When his friends heard it, they went out to seize him: for they said, “He is insane.” 22The scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, “He has Beelzebul,” and, “By the prince of the demons he casts out the demons.” 23He summoned them, and said to them in parables, “How can Satan cast out Satan? 24If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. 26If Satan has risen up against himself, and is divided, he can’t stand, but has an end. 27But no one can enter into the house of the strong man to plunder, unless he first binds the strong man; and then he will plunder his house. 28Most certainly I tell you, all sins of the descendants of man will be forgiven, including their blasphemies with which they may blaspheme; 29but whoever may blaspheme against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation.” 30—because they said, “He has an unclean spirit.” 31His mother and his brothers came, and standing outside, they sent to him, calling him. 32A multitude was sitting around him, and they told him, “Behold, your mother, your brothers, and your sisters are outside looking for you.” 33He answered them, “Who are my mother and my brothers?” 34Looking around at those who sat around him, he said, “Behold, my mother and my brothers! 35For whoever does the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.”

En hij strekte ze uit; en zijn hand werd hersteld, gezond gelijk de andere. 6En de Farizeen, uitgegaan zijnde, hebben terstond met de Herodianen te zamen raad gehouden tegen Hem, hoe zij Hem zouden doden. 7En Jezus vertrok met Zijn discipelen naar de zee; en Hem volgde een grote menigte van Galilea, en van Judea. 8En van Jeruzalem, en van Idumea, en van over de Jordaan; en die van omtrent Tyrus en Sidon, een grote menigte, gehoord hebbende, hoe grote dingen Hij deed, kwamen tot Hem. 9En Hij zeide tot Zijn discipelen, dat een scheepje steeds omtrent Hem blijven zou, om der schare wil, opdat zij Hem niet zouden verdringen. 10Want Hij had er velen genezen, alzo dat Hem al degenen, die enige kwalen hadden, overvielen, opdat zij Hem mochten aanraken. 11En de onreine geesten, als zij Hem zagen, vielen voor Hem neder en riepen, zeggende: Gij zijt de Zone Gods. 12En Hij gebood hun scherpelijk dat zij Hem niet zouden openbaar maken. 13En Hij klom op den berg, en riep tot Zich, die Hij wilde; en zij kwamen tot Hem. 14En Hij stelde er twaalf, opdat zij met Hem zouden zijn, en opdat Hij dezelve zou uitzenden om te prediken; 15En om macht te hebben, de ziekten te genezen, en de duivelen uit te werpen. 16En Simon gaf Hij den toe naam Petrus; 17En Jakobus, den zoon van Zebedeus, en Johannes, den broeder van Jakobus; en gaf hun toe namen, Boanerges, hetwelk is, zonen des donders; 18En Andreas, en Filippus, en Bartholomeus, en Mattheus, en Thomas, en Jakobus, den zoon van Alfeus, en Thaddeus, en Simon Kananites, 19En Judas Iskariot, die Hem ook verraden heeft. 20En zij kwamen in huis; en daar vergaderde wederom en schare, alzo dat zij ook zelfs niet konden brood eten. 21En als degenen, die Hem bestonden, dit hoorden, gingen zij uit, om Hem vast te houden; want zij zeiden: Hij is buiten Zijn zinnen. 22En de Schriftgeleerden, die van Jeruzalem afgekomen waren, zeiden: Hij heeft Beelzebul, en door den overste der duivelen werpt Hij de duivelen uit. 23En hen tot Zich geroepen hebbende, zeide Hij tot hen in gelijkenissen: Hoe kan de satan den satan uitwerpen? 24En indien een koninkrijk tegen zichzelf verdeeld is, zo kan dat koninkrijk niet bestaan. 25En indien een huis tegen zichzelf verdeeld is, zo kan dat huis niet bestaan. 26En indien de satan tegen zichzelven opstaat, en verdeeld is, zo kan hij niet bestaan, maar heeft een einde. 27Er kan niemand in het huis eens sterken ingaan en zijn vaten ontroven, indien hij niet eerst den sterke bindt; en alsdan zal hij zijn huis beroven. 28Voorwaar, Ik zeg u, dat al de zonden den kinderen der mensen zullen vergeven worden, en allerlei lasteringen, waarmede zij zullen gelasterd hebben; 29Maar zo wie zal gelasterd hebben tegen den Heiligen Geest, die heeft geen vergeving in der eeuwigheid, maar hij is schuldig des eeuwigen oordeels. 30Want zij zeiden: Hij heeft een onreinen geest. 31Zo kwamen dan Zijn broeders en Zijn moeder; en buiten staande, zonden zij tot Hem, en riepen Hem. 32En de schare zat rondom Hem; en zij zeiden tot Hem: Zie, Uw moeder en Uw broeders daar buiten zoeken U. 33En Hij antwoordde hun, zeggende: Wie is Mijn moeder, of Mijn broeders? 34En rondom overzien hebbende, die om Hem zaten, zeide Hij: Ziet, Mijn moeder en Mijn broeders. 35Want zo wie den wil van God doet, die is Mijn broeder, en Mijn zuster, en moeder.
