2 Coríntios 6

1E nós, como trabalhadores conjuntamente com ele , rogamos que não tenhais recebido a graça de Deus em vão. 2Porque ele diz: Em tempo agradável te ouvi, e no dia da salvação te socorri; eis agora o tempo agradável, eis agora o dia da salvação 3Escândalo nenhum damos em coisa alguma, para que nosso trabalho não seja acusado. 4Mas em tudo nos fizemos agradáveis como trabalhadores de Deus, em muita tolerância, em aflições, em necessidades, em angústias; 5Em açoites, em prisões, em tumultos, em trabalhos, em vigílias, em jejuns; 6Em pureza, em conhecimento, em paciência, em bondade, no Espírito Santo, em amor não fingido; 7Em palavra da verdade, em poder de Deus, com armas da justiça, à esquerda, e à direita; 8Por honra e por desonra; por infâmia e por boa fama; considerados como enganadores, e como verdadeiros. 9Como estranhos, e conhecidos; como morrendo, e eis que estamos vivendo; como castigados e ainda não mortos. 10Como entristecidos, porém sempre alegres; como pobres, porém enriquecendo a muitos; como nada tendo, e possuindo tudo. 11Para vós, ó coríntios, está aberta nossa boca; e nosso coração está ampliado. 12Nós não temos lhes estreitado, mas vós estais estreitos em nossos sentimentos. 13E em recompensa disto (falo como a filhos) alargai vós também. 14Não vos ajunteis em outro jugo com os descrentes. Porque, que parceria tem a justiça com injustiça? E que parceria tem a luz com as trevas? 15E que acordo há entre Cristo e Belial? Ou que parte tem o crente com o incrédulo? 16E que acordo há entre o Templo de Deus e os ídolos? Porque vós sois o templo do Deus vivente, como Deus disse: Neles habitarei, e entre eles andarei; e eu serei seu Deus, e eles serão meu povo. 17Portanto: saí do meio deles, e vos separai, diz o Senhor; e não toqueis coisa impura, e eu vos aceitarei. 18E eu vos serei por Pai, e vós sereis para mim filhos e filhas,diz o Senhor Todo Poderoso.

1Working together, we entreat also that you not receive the grace of God in vain, 2for he says, “At an acceptable time I listened to you, in a day of salvation I helped you.” Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation. 3We give no occasion of stumbling in anything, that our service may not be blamed, 4but in everything commending ourselves, as servants of God, in great endurance, in afflictions, in hardships, in distresses, 5in beatings, in imprisonments, in riots, in labors, in watchings, in fastings; 6in pureness, in knowledge, in patience, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in sincere love, 7in the word of truth, in the power of God; by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, 8by glory and dishonor, by evil report and good report; as deceivers, and yet true; 9as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold, we live; as punished, and not killed; 10as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things. 11Our mouth is open to you, Corinthians. Our heart is enlarged. 12You are not restricted by us, but you are restricted by your own affections. 13Now in return, I speak as to my children, you also be open wide. 14Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? 15What agreement has Christ with Belial? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever? 16What agreement has a temple of God with idols? For you are a temple of the living God. Even as God said, “I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they will be my people.” 17Therefore “‘Come out from among them, and be separate,’ says the Lord. ‘Touch no unclean thing. I will receive you. 18I will be to you a Father. You will be to me sons and daughters,’ says the Lord Almighty.”

1En wij, als medearbeidende, bidden u ook, dat gij de genade Gods niet tevergeefs moogt ontvangen hebben. 2Want Hij zegt: In den aangenamen tijd heb Ik u verhoord, en in den dag der zaligheid heb Ik u geholpen. Ziet, nu is het de welaangename tijd, ziet, nu is het de dag der zaligheid! 3Wij geven geen aanstoot in enig ding, opdat de bediening niet gelasterd worde. 4Maar wij, als dienaars van God, maken onszelven in alles aangenaam, in vele verdraagzaamheid, in verdrukkingen, in noden, in benauwdheden, 5In slagen, in gevangenissen, in beroerten, in arbeid, in waken, in vasten, 6In reinheid, in kennis, in lankmoedigheid, in goedertierenheid, in den Heiligen Geest, in ongeveinsde liefde, 7In het woord der waarheid, in de kracht van God, door de wapenen der gerechtigheid aan de rechter en aan de linker zijde; 8Door eer en oneer, door kwaad gerucht en goed gerucht; als verleiders, en nochtans waarachtigen; 9Als onbekenden, en nochtans bekend; als stervenden, en ziet, wij leven; als getuchtigd, en niet gedood; 10Als droevig zijnde, doch altijd blijde; als arm, doch velen rijk makende; als niets hebbende, en nochtans alles bezittende. 11Onze mond is opengedaan tegen u, o Korinthiers, ons hart is uitgebreid. 12Gij zijt niet nauw in ons, maar gij zijt nauw in uw ingewanden. 13Nu, om dezelfde vergelding te doen,, ik spreek als tot mijn kinderen) zo wordt gij ook uitgebreid. 14Trekt niet een ander juk aan met de ongelovigen; want wat mededeel heeft de gerechtigheid met de ongerechtigheid, en wat gemeenschap heeft het licht met de duisternis? 15En wat samenstemming heeft Christus met Belial, of wat deel heeft de gelovige met den ongelovige? 16Of wat samenvoeging heeft de tempel Gods met de afgoden? Want gij zijt de tempel des levenden Gods; gelijkerwijs God gezegd heeft: Ik zal in hen wonen, en Ik zal onder hen wandelen; en Ik zal hun God zijn, en zij zullen Mij een volk zijn. 17Daarom gaat uit het midden van hen, en scheidt u af, zegt de Heere, en raakt niet aan hetgeen onrein is, en Ik zal ulieden aannemen. 18En Ik zal u tot een Vader zijn, en gij zult Mij tot zonen en dochteren zijn, zegt de Heere, de Almachtige.
