Ezechiela 2

1I rzekł do mnie: Synu człowieczy! stań na nogi twe, a będę mówił z tobą. 2I wstąpił w mię duch, gdy przemówił do mnie, a postawił mię na nogi moje, i słyszałem mówiącego do mnie; 3Który rzekł do mnie: Synu człowieczy! Ja cię posyłam do synów Izraelskich, do narodów odpornych, którzy mi się sprzeciwili; oni i ojcowie ich występowali przeciwko mnie aż prawie do dnia tego: 4Do tych, mówię, synów niewstydliwej twarzy, i zatwardziałego serca Ja cię posyłam, i rzeczesz im: Tak mówi panujący Pan. 5Niech oni słuchają albo nie, gdyż domem odpornym są, przecież niech wiedzą, że prorok był w pośrodku ich. 6Ale ty, synu człowieczy! nie bój się ich, ani się lękaj słów ich, że odporni a jako ciernie są przeciwko tobie, a że między niedźwiadkami mieszkasz; słów ich nie bój się, ani się twarzy ich lękaj, przeto, że domem odpornym są. 7Ale mów słowa moje do nich, niech oni słuchają albo nie, gdyż odpornymi są. 8Lecz ty, synu człowieczy! słuchaj, co Ja mówię do ciebie: Nie bądź odporny, jako ten dom odporny; otwórz usta swe, a zjedz, coć dam. 9I widziałem, a oto ręka była wyciągniona do mnie, a oto w niej zwinione księgi, 10Które rozwinął przedemną; a były popisane z przodku i z końca, a w nich były napisane narzekania, i wzdychania i bieda.

1He said to me, Son of man, stand on your feet, and I will speak with you. 2The Spirit entered into me when he spoke to me, and set me on my feet; and I heard him who spoke to me. 3He said to me, Son of man, I send you to the children of Israel, to a nation of rebels who have rebelled against me. They and their fathers have transgressed against me even to this very day. 4The children are impudent and stiff-hearted: I am sending you to them; and you shall tell them, Thus says the Lord Yahweh. 5They, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house), yet shall know that there has been a prophet among them. 6You, son of man, don’t be afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you, and you do dwell among scorpions: don’t be afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house. 7You shall speak my words to them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear; for they are most rebellious. 8But you, son of man, hear what I tell you; don’t be rebellious like that rebellious house: open your mouth, and eat that which I give you. 9When I looked, behold, a hand was stretched out to me; and, behold, a scroll of a book was therein; 10He spread it before me: and it was written within and without; and there were written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.

1En Hij zeide tot mij: Mensenkind, sta op uw voeten, en Ik zal met u spreken. 2Zo kwam in mij, als Hij tot mij sprak, de Geest, Die mij stelde op mijn voeten; en ik hoorde Dien, Die tot mij sprak. 3En Hij zeide tot mij: Mensenkind! Ik zend u tot de kinderen Israels, tot de rebellerende volken, die tegen Mij gerebelleerd hebben; zij en hun vaderen hebben overtreden tegen Mij tot op dezen zelven huidigen dag. 4En deze kinderen zijn hard van aangezicht, en stijf van hart; Ik zend u tot hen, en gij zult tot hen zeggen: Zo zegt de Heere HEERE! 5En zij, hetzij dat zij het horen zullen, of hetzij dat zij het laten zullen (want zij zijn een wederspannig huis), zo zullen zij weten, dat een profeet in het midden van hen geweest is. 6En gij, mensenkind! vrees niet voor hen, en vrees niet voor hun woorden, hoewel wederwilligen en doornen bij u zijn, en gij bij schorpioenen woont; vrees voor hun woorden niet, en ontzet u niet voor hun aangezicht, want zij zijn een wederspannig huis. 7Maar gij zult Mijn woorden tot hen spreken, hetzij dat zij horen zullen, of hetzij dat zij het laten zullen; want zij zijn wederspannig. 8Doch gij, mensenkind, hoor hetgeen Ik tot u spreek; wees gij niet wederspannig, gelijk dat wederspannig huis; open uw mond, en eet, wat Ik u geef. 9Toen zag ik, en ziet, er was een hand tot mij uitgestoken; en ziet, daarin was de rol eens boeks. 10En Hij spreidde die voor mijn aangezicht uit; en zij was beschreven voor en achter; en daarin waren geschreven klaagliederen, en zuchting, en wee.
