에스겔 6

1여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 가라사대 2인자야 너는 이스라엘 산을 향하여 그들에게 예언하여 3이르기를 이스라엘 산들아 주 여호와의 말씀을 들으라 주 여호와께서 산과 작은 산과 시내와 골짜기를 대하여 말씀하시기를 나 곧 내가 칼로 너희에게 임하게 하여 너희 산당을 멸하리니 4너희 제단이 황무하고 태양상이 훼파될 것이며 내가 또 너희 중에서 살륙을 당하여 너희 우상 앞에 엎드러지게 할 것이라 5이스라엘 자손의 시체를 그 우상 앞에 두며 너희 해골을 너희 제단 사방에 흩으리라 6내가 너희 거하는 모든 성읍으로 사막이 되며 산당으로 황무하게 하리니 이는 너희 제단이 깨어지고 황폐하며 너희 우상들이 깨어져 없어지며 너희 태양상들이 찍히며 너희 만든 것이 다 폐하며 7또 너희 중에서 살륙을 당하여 엎드러지게 하여 너희로 나를 여호와인 줄 알게 하려 함이니라 8그러나 너희가 열방에 흩어질 때에 내가 너희 중에서 칼을 피하여 이방 중에 남아 있는 자가 있게 할지라 9너희 중 피한 자가 사로잡혀 이방인 중에 있어서 나를 기억하되 그들이 음란한 마음으로 나를 떠나고 음란한 눈으로 우상을 섬겨 나로 근심케 한 것을 기억하고 스스로 한탄하리니 이는 그 모든 가증한 일로 악을 행하였음이라 10그 때에야 그들이 나를 여호와인 줄 알리라 내가 이런 재앙을 그들에게 내리겠다 한 말이 헛되지 아니하니라 11주 여호와께서 가라사대 너는 손뼉을 치고 발을 구르며 말할지어다 오호라 이스라엘 족속이 모든 가증한 악을 행하므로 필경 칼과 기근과 온역에 망하되 12먼데 있는 자는 온역에 죽고 가까운데 있는 자는 칼에 엎드러지고 남아 있어 에워싸인 자는 기근에 죽으리라 이같이 내 진노를 그들에게 이룬즉 13그 살륙 당한 시체가 그 우상 사이에, 제단 사방에, 각 높은 고개에, 모든 산꼭대기에, 모든 푸른 나무 아래에, 무성한 상수리나무 아래 곧 그 우상에게 분향하던 곳에 있으리니 너희가 나를 여호와인 줄 알리라 14내가 내 손을 그들의 위에 펴서 그 거하는 온 땅 곧 광야에서부터 디블라까지 처량하고 황무하게 하리니 그들이 나를 여호와인 줄 알리라

1Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 2Son of man, set your face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy to them, 3and say, You mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Yahweh: Thus says the Lord Yahweh to the mountains and to the hills, to the watercourses and to the valleys: Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword on you, and I will destroy your high places. 4Your altars shall become desolate, and your incense altars shall be broken; and I will cast down your slain men before your idols. 5I will lay the dead bodies of the children of Israel before their idols; and I will scatter your bones around your altars. 6In all your dwelling places the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease, and your incense altars may be cut down, and your works may be abolished. 7The slain shall fall in your midst, and you shall know that I am Yahweh. 8Yet will I leave a remnant, in that you shall have some that escape the sword among the nations, when you shall be scattered through the countries. 9Those of you that escape shall remember me among the nations where they shall be carried captive, how that I have been broken with their lewd heart, which has departed from me, and with their eyes, which play the prostitute after their idols: and they shall loathe themselves in their own sight for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations. 10They shall know that I am Yahweh: I have not said in vain that I would do this evil to them. 11Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Strike with your hand, and stamp with your foot, and say, Alas! because of all the evil abominations of the house of Israel; for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence. 12He who is far off shall die of the pestilence; and he who is near shall fall by the sword; and he who remains and is besieged shall die by the famine: thus will I accomplish my wrath on them. 13You shall know that I am Yahweh, when their slain men shall be among their idols around their altars, on every high hill, on all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, the places where they offered pleasant aroma to all their idols. 14I will stretch out my hand on them, and make the land desolate and waste, from the wilderness toward Diblah, throughout all their habitations: and they shall know that I am Yahweh.

1En het woord des HEEREN geschiedde tot mij, zeggende: 2Mensenkind, zet uw aangezicht tegen de bergen Israels, en profeteer tegen dezelve; 3En zeg: Gij bergen Israels, hoort het woord des Heeren HEEREN! Zo zegt de Heere HEERE tot de bergen en tot de heuvelen, tot de beken en tot de dalen: Ziet, Ik, Ik breng over u het zwaard, en Ik zal uw hoogten verderven. 4Daartoe zullen uw altaren verwoest, en uw zonnebeelden verbroken worden; en Ik zal uw verslagenen nedervellen voor het aangezicht uwer drekgoden. 5En Ik zal de dode lichamen der kinderen Israels voor het aangezicht hunner drekgoden leggen, en Ik zal uw beenderen rondom uw altaren strooien. 6In al uw woningen zullen de steden verwoest en de hoogten tot wildernis worden, opdat uw altaren woest en eenzaam zijn, en uw drekgoden verbroken worden en ophouden, en uw zonnebeelden afgehouwen, en uw werken uitgedelgd worden. 7En de verslagenen zullen in het midden van u liggen, opdat gij weet, dat Ik de HEERE ben. 8Ik zal dan nog een overblijfsel laten, als gij enigen zult hebben, die het zwaard ontkomen onder de heidenen, wanneer gij in de landen zult verstrooid worden. 9Dan zullen uw ontkomenen Mijner gedenken onder de heidenen, waar zij gevankelijk zullen geworden zijn, omdat Ik verbroken ben door hun hoerachtig hart, dat van Mij afgeweken is, en door hun ogen, die hun drekgoden nahoereren; en zij zullen een walging aan zichzelven hebben over de boosheden, die zij in al hun gruwelen gedaan hebben. 10En zij zullen weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben; Ik heb niet tevergeefs gesproken, van hun dit kwaad aan te doen. 11Zo zegt de Heere HEERE: Sla met uw hand, en stamp met uw voet, en zeg: Ach, over alle gruwelen der boosheden van het huis Israels; want zij zullen door het zwaard, door den honger en door de pestilentie vallen. 12Die verre af is, zal door de pest sterven, en die nabij is, zal door het zwaard vallen; maar die overgebleven en belegerd is, zal door honger sterven; alzo zal Ik Mijn grimmigheid tegen hen volbrengen. 13Dan zult gij weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben, als hun verslagenen in het midden hunner drekgoden rondom hun altaren wezen zullen op alle hoge heuvelen, op alle toppen der bergen, en onder allen groenen boom, en onder alle dichte eiken, de plaats, alwaar zij al hun drekgoden liefelijken reuk maakten. 14Daarom zal Ik Mijn hand over hen uitstrekken, en zal het land woest maken, ja, woester dan de woestijn naar Diblath henen, in al hun woningen; en zij zullen bevinden, dat Ik de HEERE ben.
