1다윗이 헤브론에서 낳은 아들들이 이러하니 맏아들은 압논이라 이스르엘 여인 아히노암의 소생이요 둘째는 다니엘이라 갈멜 여인 아비가일의 소생이요 2셋째는 압살롬이라 그술 왕 달매의 딸 마아가의 아들이요 넷째는 아도니야라 학깃의 아들이요 3다섯째는 스바댜라 아비달의 소생이요 여섯째는 이드르암이라 다윗의 아내 에글라의 소생이니 4이 여섯은 다윗이 헤브론에서 낳은 자라 다윗이 거기서 칠 년 육 개월을 치리하였고 또 예루살렘에서 삼십삼 년을 치리하였으며 5예루살렘에서 낳은 아들들은 이러하니 시므아와 소밥과 나단과 솔로몬 네 사람은 다 암미엘의 딸 밧수아의 소생이요 6또 입할과 엘리사마와 엘리벨렛과 7노가와 네벡과 야비야와 8엘리사마와 엘랴다와 엘리벨렛 아홉 사람은 9다 다윗의 아들이요 저희의 누이는 다말이며 이 외에 또 첩의 아들이 있었더라 10솔로몬의 아들은 르호보암이요 그 아들은 아비야요 그 아들은 아사요 그 아들은 여호사밧이요 11그 아들은 요람이요 그 아들은 아하시야요 그 아들은 요아스요 12그 아들은 아마샤요 그 아들은 아사랴요 그 아들은 요담이요 13그 아들은 아하스요 그 아들은 히스기야요 그 아들은 므낫세요 14그 아들은 아몬이요 그 아들은 요시야며 15요시야의 아들들은 맏아들 요하난과 둘째 여호야김과 셋째 시드기야와 넷째 살룸이요 16여호야김의 아들들은 그 아들 여고냐, 그 아들 시드기야요 17사로잡혀 간 여고냐의 아들들은 그 아들 스알디엘과 18말기람과 브다야와 세낫살과 여가먀와 호사마와 느다뱌요 19브다야의 아들들은 스룹바벨과 시므이요 스룹바벨의 아들은 므술람과 하나냐와 그 매제 슬로밋과 20또 하수바와 오헬과 베레갸와 하사댜와 유삽헤셋 다섯 사람이요 21하나냐의 아들은 블라댜와 여사야요 또 르바야의 아들 아르난의 아들들, 오바댜의 아들들, 스가냐의 아들들이니 22스가냐의 아들은 스마야요 스마야의 아들들은 핫두스와 이갈과 바리야와 느아랴와 사밧 여섯 사람이요 23느아랴의 아들은 엘료에내와 히스기야와 아스리감 세 사람이요 24엘료에내의 아들들은 호다위야와 엘리아십과 블라야와 악굽과 요하난과 들라야와 아나니 일곱 사람이더라

1Now these were the sons of David, who were born to him in Hebron: the firstborn, Amnon, of Ahinoam the Jezreelitess; the second, Daniel, of Abigail the Carmelitess; 2the third, Absalom the son of Maacah the daughter of Talmai king of Geshur; the fourth, Adonijah the son of Haggith; 3the fifth, Shephatiah of Abital; the sixth, Ithream by Eglah his wife: 4six were born to him in Hebron; and there he reigned seven years and six months. In Jerusalem he reigned thirty-three years; 5and these were born to him in Jerusalem: Shimea, and Shobab, and Nathan, and Solomon, four, of Bathshua the daughter of Ammiel; 6and Ibhar, and Elishama, and Eliphelet, 7and Nogah, and Nepheg, and Japhia, 8and Elishama, and Eliada, and Eliphelet, nine. 9All these were the sons of David, besides the sons of the concubines; and Tamar was their sister. 10Solomon’s son was Rehoboam, Abijah his son, Asa his son, Jehoshaphat his son, 11Joram his son, Ahaziah his son, Joash his son, 12Amaziah his son, Azariah his son, Jotham his son, 13Ahaz his son, Hezekiah his son, Manasseh his son, 14Amon his son, Josiah his son. 15The sons of Josiah: the firstborn Johanan, the second Jehoiakim, the third Zedekiah, the fourth Shallum. 16The sons of Jehoiakim: Jeconiah his son, Zedekiah his son. 17The sons of Jeconiah, the captive: Shealtiel his son, 18and Malchiram, and Pedaiah, and Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah. 19The sons of Pedaiah: Zerubbabel, and Shimei. The sons of Zerubbabel: Meshullam, and Hananiah; and Shelomith was their sister; 20and Hashubah, and Ohel, and Berechiah, and Hasadiah, Jushab Hesed, five. 21The sons of Hananiah: Pelatiah, and Jeshaiah; the sons of Rephaiah, the sons of Arnan, the sons of Obadiah, the sons of Shecaniah. 22The sons of Shecaniah: Shemaiah. The sons of Shemaiah: Hattush, and Igal, and Bariah, and Neariah, and Shaphat, six. 23The sons of Neariah: Elioenai, and Hizkiah, and Azrikam, three. 24The sons of Elioenai: Hodaviah, and Eliashib, and Pelaiah, and Akkub, and Johanan, and Delaiah, and Anani, seven.

1Dezen nu waren de kinderen van David, die hem te Hebron geboren zijn: de eerstgeborene Amnon, van Ahinoam, de Jizreelietische; de tweede Daniel, van Abigail, de Karmelietische; 2De derde Absalom, de zoon van Maacha, de dochter van Thalmai, de koning te Gesur; de vierde Adonia, de zoon van Haggith; 3De vijfde Sefatja, van Abital; de zesde Jithream, van zijn huisvrouw Egla. 4Zes zijn hem te Hebron geboren; want hij regeerde daar zeven jaren en zes maanden; en drie en dertig jaren regeerde hij te Jeruzalem. 5Dezen nu zijn hem te Jeruzalem geboren: Simea, en Sobab, en Nathan, en Salomo; deze vier zijn van Bath-Sua, de dochter van Ammiel; 6Daartoe Jibchar, en Elisama, en Elifelet, 7En Nogah, en Nefeg, en Jafia, 8En Elisama, en Eljada, en Elifelet, negen. 9Deze allen zijn zonen van David, behalve de kinderen der bijwijven, en Thamar hun zuster. 10Salomo's zoon nu was Rehabeam; zijn zoon was Abia; zijn zoon was Asa; zijn zoon was Josafat; 11Zijn zoon was Joram; zijn zoon was Ahazia; zijn zoon was Joas; 12Zijn zoon was Amazia; zijn zoon was Azaria; zijn zoon was Jotham; 13Zijn zoon was Achaz; zijn zoon was Hizkia; zijn zoon was Manasse; 14Zijn zoon was Amon; zijn zoon was Josia. 15De zonen van Josia nu waren dezen: de eerstgeborene Johanan, de tweede Jojakim, de derde Zedekia, de vierde Sallum. 16De kinderen van Jojakim nu waren: Jechonia zijn zoon, Zedekia zijn zoon. 17En de kinderen van Jechonia waren Assir; zijn zoon was Sealthiel; 18Dezes zonen waren Malchiram, en Pedaja, en Senazar, Jekamja, Hosama en Nedabja. 19De kinderen van Pedaja nu waren Zerubbabel en Simei; en de kinderen van Zerubbabel waren Mesullam en Hananja; en Selomith was hunlieder zuster; 20En Hasuba, en Ohel, en Berechja, en Hasadja, Jusabhesed; vijf. 21De kinderen van Hananja nu waren Pelatja en Jesaja. De kinderen van Refaja, de kinderen van Arnan, de kinderen van Obadja, de kinderen van Sechanja. 22De kinderen nu van Sechanja waren Semaja; en de kinderen van Semaja waren Hattus, en Jigeal, en Bariah, en Nearja, en Safat; zes. 23En de kinderen van Nearja waren Eljoenai, en Hizkia, en Azrikam; drie. 24En de kinderen van Eljoenai waren Hodajeva, en Eljasib, en Pelaja, en Akkub, en Johanan, en Delaja, en Anani; zeven.
