1다윗이 군대 장관들로 더불어 아삽과 헤만과 여두둔의 자손 중에서 구별하여 섬기게 하되 수금과 비파와 제금을 잡아 신령한 노래를 하게 하였으니 그 직무대로 일하는 자의 수효가 이러하니라 2아삽의 아들 중 삭굴과 요셉과 느다냐와 아사렐라니 이 아삽의 아들들이 아삽의 수하에 속하여 왕의 명령을 좇아 신령한 노래를 하며 3여두둔에게 이르러는 그 아들 그달리야와 스리와 여사야와 하사뱌와 맛디디야 여섯 사람이니 그 아비 여두둔의 수하에 속하여 수금을 잡아 신령한 노래를 하며 여호와께 감사하며 찬양하며 4헤만에게 이르러는 그 아들 북기야와 맛다냐와 웃시엘과 스브엘과 여리못과 하나냐와 하나니와 엘리아다와 깃달디와 로암디에셀과 요스브가사와 말로디와 호딜과 마하시옷이라 5이는 다 헤만의 아들들이니 나팔을 부는 자며 헤만은 하나님의 말씀을 받드는 왕의 선견자라 하나님이 헤만에게 열네 아들과 세 딸을 주셨더라 6이들이 다 그 아비의 수하에 속하여 제금과 비파와 수금을 잡아 여호와 하나님의 전에서 노래하여 섬겼으며 아삽과 여두둔과 헤만은 왕의 수하에 속하였으니 7저희와 모든 형제 곧 여호와 찬송하기를 배워 익숙한 자의 수효가 이백팔십팔 인이라 8이 무리의 큰 자나 작은 자나 스승이나 제자를 무론하고 일례로 제비뽑아 직임을 얻었으니 9첫째로 제비 뽑힌 자는 아삽의 아들 중 요셉이요 둘째는 그달리야니 저와 그 형제와 아들 십이 인이요 10셋째는 삭굴이니 그 아들과 형제와 십이 인이요 11넷째는 이스리니 그 아들과 형제와 십이 인이요 12다섯째는 느다냐니 그 아들과 형제와 십이 인이요 13여섯째는 북기야니 그 아들과 형제와 십이 인이요 14일곱째는 여사렐라니 그 아들과 형제와 십이 인이요 15여덟째는 여사야니 그 아들과 형제와 십이 인이요 16아홉째는 맛다냐니 그 아들과 형제와 십이 인이요 17열째는 시므이니 그 아들과 형제와 십이 인이요 18열한째는 아사렐이니 그 아들과 형제와 십이 인이요 19열둘째는 하사뱌니 그 아들과 형제와 십이 인이요 20열셋째는 수바엘이니 그 아들과 형제와 십이 인이요 21열넷째는 맛디디야니 그 아들과 형제와 십이 인이요 22열다섯째는 여레못이니 그 아들과 형제와 십이 인이요 23열여섯째는 하나냐니 그 아들과 형제와 십이 인이요 24열일곱째는 요스브가사니 그 아들과 형제와 십이 인이요 25열여덟째는 하나니니 그 아들과 형제와 십이 인이요 26열아홉째는 말로디니 그 아들과 형제와 십이 인이요 27스무째는 엘리아다니 그 아들과 형제와 십이 인이요 28스물한째는 호딜이니 그 아들과 형제와 십이 인이요 29스물둘째는 깃달디니 그 아들과 형제와 십이 인이요 30스물셋째는 마하시옷이니 그 아들과 형제와 십이 인이요 31스물넷째는 로암디에셀이니 그 아들과 형제와 십이 인이었더라

1Moreover, David and the captains of the army set apart for the service certain of the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, with stringed instruments, and with cymbals: and the number of those who did the work according to their service was: 2of the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asharelah, the sons of Asaph, under the hand of Asaph, who prophesied after the order of the king. 3Of Jeduthun; the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun with the harp, who prophesied in giving thanks and praising Yahweh. 4Of Heman; the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamti-Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth. 5All these were the sons of Heman the king’s seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters. 6All these were under the hands of their father for song in Yahweh’s house, with cymbals, stringed instruments, and harps, for the service of God’s house; Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman being under the order of the king. 7The number of them, with their brothers who were instructed in singing to Yahweh, even all who were skillful, was two hundred eighty-eight. 8They cast lots for their offices, all alike, as well the small as the great, the teacher as the scholar. 9Now the first lot came out for Asaph to Joseph: the second to Gedaliah; he and his brothers and sons were twelve: 10the third to Zaccur, his sons and his brothers, twelve: 11the fourth to Izri, his sons and his brothers, twelve: 12the fifth to Nethaniah, his sons and his brothers, twelve: 13the sixth to Bukkiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve: 14the seventh to Jesharelah, his sons and his brothers, twelve: 15the eighth to Jeshaiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve: 16the ninth to Mattaniah, his sons and his brothers, twelve: 17the tenth to Shimei, his sons and his brothers, twelve: 18the eleventh to Azarel, his sons and his brothers, twelve: 19the twelfth to Hashabiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve: 20for the thirteenth, Shubael, his sons and his brothers, twelve: 21for the fourteenth, Mattithiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve: 22for the fifteenth to Jeremoth, his sons and his brothers, twelve: 23for the sixteenth to Hananiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve: 24for the seventeenth to Joshbekashah, his sons and his brothers, twelve: 25for the eighteenth to Hanani, his sons and his brothers, twelve: 26for the nineteenth to Mallothi, his sons and his brothers, twelve: 27for the twentieth to Eliathah, his sons and his brothers, twelve: 28for the one and twentieth to Hothir, his sons and his brothers, twelve: 29for the two and twentieth to Giddalti, his sons and his brothers, twelve: 30for the twenty-third to Mahazioth, his sons and his brothers, twelve: 31for the four and twentieth to Romamti-Ezer, his sons and his brothers, twelve.

1En David, mitsgaders de oversten des heirs, scheidde af tot den dienst, van de kinderen van Asaf, en van Heman, en van Jeduthun, die met harpen, met luiten en met cimbalen profeteren zouden; en die onder hen geteld werden, waren mannen, bekwaam tot het werk van hun dienst. 2Van de kinderen van Asaf waren Zakkur, en Jozef, en Nethanja, en Asarela, kinderen van Asaf; aan de hand van Asaf, die aan des konings handen profeteerde. 3Aangaande Jeduthun: de kinderen van Jeduthun waren Gedalja, en Zeri, en Jesaja, Hasabja en Mattithja, zes; aan de handen van hun vader Jeduthun, op harpen profeterende met den HEERE te danken en te loven. 4Aangaande Heman: de kinderen van Heman waren Bukkia, Mattanja, Uzziel, Sebuel, en Jerimoth, Hananja, Hanani, Eliatha, Giddalti, en Romamthi-Ezer, Josbekasa, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth. 5Deze allen waren kinderen van Heman, den ziener des konings, in de woorden Gods, om den hoorn te verheffen; want God had Heman veertien zonen gegeven, en drie dochters. 6Dezen waren altemaal aan de handen huns vaders gesteld tot het gezang van het huis des HEEREN, op cimbalen, luiten, en harpen, tot den dienst van het huis Gods, aan de handen van den koning, van Asaf, Jeduthun, en van Heman. 7En hun getal met hun broederen, die geleerd waren in het gezang des HEEREN, allen meesters, was tweehonderd acht en tachtig. 8En zij wierpen de loten over de wacht, tegen elkander, zo de kleinen, als de groten, den meester met den leerling. 9Het eerste lot nu ging uit voor Asaf, namelijk voor Jozef. Het tweede voor Gedalja; hij en zijn broederen, en zijn zonen, waren twaalf. 10Het derde voor Zakkur; zijn zonen en zijn broederen, twaalf. 11Het vierde voor Jizri; zijn zonen en zijn broederen, twaalf. 12Het vijfde voor Nethanja; zijn zonen en zijn broederen, twaalf. 13Het zesde voor Bukkia; zijn zonen en zijn broederen, twaalf. 14Het zevende voor Jesarela; zijn zonen en zijn broederen, twaalf. 15Het achtste voor Jesaja; zijn zonen en zijn broederen, twaalf. 16Het negende voor Mattanja; zijn zonen en zijn broederen, twaalf. 17Het tiende voor Simei; zijn zonen en zijn broederen, twaalf. 18Het elfde voor Azareel; zijn zonen en zijn broederen, twaalf. 19Het twaalfde voor Hasabja; zijn zonen en zijn broederen, twaalf. 20Het dertiende voor Subael; zijn zonen en zijn broederen, twaalf. 21Het veertiende voor Mattithja; zijn zonen en zijn broederen, twaalf. 22Het vijftiende voor Jeremoth; zijn zonen en zijn broederen, twaalf. 23Het zestiende voor Hananja; zijn zonen en zijn broederen, twaalf. 24Het zeventiende voor Josbekasa; zijn zonen en zijn broederen, twaalf. 25Het achttiende voor Hanani; zijn zonen en zijn broederen, twaalf. 26Het negentiende voor Mallothi; zijn zonen en zijn broederen; twaalf. 27Het twintigste voor Eliatha; zijn zonen en zijn broederen; twaalf. 28Het een en twintigste voor Hothir; zijn zonen en zijn broederen, twaalf. 29Het twee en twintigste voor Giddalti; zijn zonen en zijn broederen, twaalf. 30Het drie en twintigste voor Mahazioth; zijn zonen en zijn broederen, twaalf. 31Het vier en twintigste voor Romamthi-Ezer; zijn zonen en zijn broederen, twaalf.
