1Inilah catatan keturunan Adam. Pada hari Allah menciptakan manusia, Dia membuatnya dalam keserupaan dengan Allah. 2Dia menciptakan mereka, laki-laki dan perempuan, dan Dia memberkati mereka, dan menamai mereka manusia, pada hari mereka diciptakan. 3Ketika Adam hidup selama 130 tahun dan seorang anak laki-laki lahir baginya dalam keserupaan dengannya, menurut rupanya. Masih ada anak laki-laki dan anak perempuan lainnya yang lahir baginya. 11Jadi, masa hidup Enos adalah 905 tahun, kemudian dia mati. 12Ketika Kenan hidup selama 70 tahun, Mahalaleel lahir baginya. 13Kenan hidup 840 tahun lagi setelah Mahalaleel lahir, dan masih ada anak laki-laki dan anak perempuan lainnya yang lahir baginya. 14Jadi, masa hidup Kenan adalah 910 tahun, kemudian dia mati. 15Ketika Mahalaleel hidup selama 65 tahun, Yared lahir baginya. 16Mahalaleel hidup 830 tahun lagi setelah Yared lahir, dan masih ada anak laki-laki dan anak perempuan lainnya yang lahir baginya. 17Jadi, masa hidup Mahalaleel adalah 895 tahun, kemudian dia mati. 18Ketika Yared hidup selama 162 tahun, Henokh lahir baginya. 19Yared hidup 800 tahun lagi setelah Henokh lahir, dan masih ada anak laki-laki dan anak perempuan lainnya yang lahir baginya. 20Jadi, masa hidup Yared adalah 962 tahun, kemudian dia mati. 21Ketika Henokh hidup selama 65 tahun, Metusalah lahir baginya. 22Henokh berjalan dengan Allah selama 300 tahun setelah Metusalah lahir, dan masih ada anak laki-laki dan anak perempuan lainnya yang lahir baginya. 23Jadi, masa hidup Henokh adalah 365 tahun. 24Henokh berjalan dengan Allah, setelah itu dia tidak ada lagi, sebab Allah mengambilnya. 25Ketika Metusalah hidup selama 187 tahun, Lamekh lahir baginya. 26Metusalah hidup 782 tahun lagi setelah Lamekh lahir, dan masih ada anak laki-laki dan anak perempuan lainnya yang lahir baginya. 27Jadi, masa hidup Metusalah adalah 969 tahun, kemudian dia mati. 28Setelah Lamekh hidup selama 182 tahun, seorang anak laki-laki lahir baginya. 29Dia menamai anak itu Nuh dan berkata, “Dia ini akan menghibur kita dalam kerja keras dan jerih payah tangan kita akibat tanah yang telah TUHAN kutuk ini.” 30Lamekh hidup 595 tahun lagi setelah Nuh lahir, dan masih ada anak laki-laki dan anak perempuan lainnya yang lahir baginya. 31Jadi, masa hidup Lamekh adalah 777 tahun, kemudian dia mati. 32Ketika Nuh hidup selama 500 tahun, Sem, Ham, dan Yafet lahir baginya.

On the day they were created, he named them “Adam”. 3Adam lived one hundred thirty years, and became the father of a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth. 4The days of Adam after he became the father of Seth were eight hundred years, and he became the father of other sons and daughters. 5All the days that Adam lived were nine hundred thirty years, then he died. 6Seth lived one hundred five years, then became the father of Enosh. 7Seth lived after he became the father of Enosh eight hundred seven years, and became the father of other sons and daughters. 8All the days of Seth were nine hundred twelve years, then he died. 9Enosh lived ninety years, and became the father of Kenan. 10Enosh lived after he became the father of Kenan, eight hundred fifteen years, and became the father of other sons and daughters. 11All the days of Enosh were nine hundred five years, then he died. 12Kenan lived seventy years, then became the father of Mahalalel. 13Kenan lived after he became the father of Mahalalel eight hundred forty years, and became the father of other sons and daughters 14and all the days of Kenan were nine hundred ten years, then he died. 15Mahalalel lived sixty-five years, then became the father of Jared. 16Mahalalel lived after he became the father of Jared eight hundred thirty years, and became the father of other sons and daughters. 17All the days of Mahalalel were eight hundred ninety-five years, then he died. 18Jared lived one hundred sixty-two years, then became the father of Enoch. 19Jared lived after he became the father of Enoch eight hundred years, and became the father of other sons and daughters. 20All the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty-two years, then he died. 21Enoch lived sixty-five years, then became the father of Methuselah. 22After Methuselah’s birth, Enoch walked with God for three hundred years, and became the father of more sons and daughters. 23All the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty-five years. 24Enoch walked with God, and he was not found, for God took him. 25Methuselah lived one hundred eighty-seven years, then became the father of Lamech. 26Methuselah lived after he became the father of Lamech seven hundred eighty-two years, and became the father of other sons and daughters. 27All the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty-nine years, then he died. 28Lamech lived one hundred eighty-two years, then became the father of a son. 29He named him Noah, saying, “This one will comfort us in our work and in the toil of our hands, caused by the ground which Yahweh has cursed.” 30Lamech lived after he became the father of Noah five hundred ninety-five years, and became the father of other sons and daughters. 31All the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy-seven years, then he died. 32Noah was five hundred years old, then Noah became the father of Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

Ten dage als God den mens schiep, maakte Hij hem naar de gelijkenis Gods. 2Man en vrouw schiep Hij hen, en zegende ze, en noemde hun naam Mens, ten dage als zij geschapen werden. 3En Adam leefde honderd en dertig jaren, en gewon een zoon naar zijn gelijkenis, naar zijn evenbeeld, en noemde zijn naam Seth. 4En Adams dagen, nadat hij Seth gewonnen had, zijn geweest achthonderd jaren; en hij gewon zonen en dochteren. 5Zo waren al de dagen van Adam, die hij leefde, negenhonderd jaren, en dertig jaren; en hij stierf. 6En Seth leefde honderd en vijf jaren, en hij gewon Enos. 7En Seth leefde, nadat hij Enos gewonnen had, achthonderd en zeven jaren; en hij gewon zonen en dochteren. 8Zo waren al de dagen van Seth negenhonderd en twaalf jaren; en hij stierf. 9En Enos leefde negentig jaren, en hij gewon Kenan. 10En Enos leefde, nadat hij Kenan gewonnen had, achthonderd en vijftien jaren; en hij gewon zonen en dochteren. 11Zo waren al de dagen van Enos negenhonderd en vijf jaren; en hij stierf. 12En Kenan leefde zeventig jaren, en hij gewon Mahalal-el. 13En Kenan leefde, nadat hij Mahalal-el gewonnen had, achthonderd en veertig jaren; en hij gewon zonen en dochteren. 14Zo waren al de dagen van Kenan negenhonderd en tien jaren; en hij stierf. 15En Mahalal-el leefde vijf en zestig jaren, en hij gewon Jered. 16En Mahalal-el leefde, nadat hij Jered gewonnen had, achthonderd en dertig jaren; en hij gewon zonen en dochteren. 17Zo waren al de dagen van Mahalal-el achthonderd vijf en negentig jaren; en hij stierf. 18En Jered leefde honderd twee en zestig jaren, en hij gewon Henoch. 19En Jered leefde, nadat hij Henoch gewonnen had, achthonderd jaren; en hij gewon zonen en dochteren. 20Zo waren al de dagen van Jered negenhonderd twee en zestig jaren; en hij stierf. 21En Henoch leefde vijf en zestig jaren, en hij gewon Methusalach. 22En Henoch wandelde met God, nadat hij Methusalach gewonnen had, driehonderd jaren; en hij gewon zonen en dochteren. 23Zo waren al de dagen van Henoch driehonderd vijf en zestig jaren. 24Henoch dan wandelde met God; en hij was niet meer; want God nam hem weg. 25En Methusalach leefde honderd zeven en tachtig jaren, en hij gewon Lamech. 26En Methusalach leefde, nadat hij Lamech gewonnen had, zevenhonderd twee en tachtig jaren; en hij gewon zonen en dochteren. 27Zo waren al de dagen van Methusalach negenhonderd negen en zestig jaren; en hij stierf. 28En Lamech leefde honderd twee en tachtig jaren, en hij gewon een zoon. 29En hij noemde zijn naam Noach, zeggende: Deze zal ons troosten over ons werk, en over de smart onzer handen, vanwege het aardrijk, dat de HEERE vervloekt heeft! 30En Lamech leefde, nadat hij Noach gewonnen had, vijfhonderd vijf en negentig jaren; en hij gewon zonen en dochteren. 31Zo waren al de dagen van Lamech zevenhonderd zeven en zeventig jaren; en hij stierf. 32En Noach was vijfhonderd jaren oud; en Noach gewon Sem, Cham en Jafeth.
