1Kaj mi rigardis, kaj jen la Ŝafido staranta sur la monto Cion, kaj kun li cent kvardek kvar miloj, havantaj lian nomon, kaj la nomon de lia Patro, skribitajn sur ilia frunto. 2Kaj mi aŭdis voĉon el la ĉielo, kiel voĉon de multaj akvoj, kaj kiel voĉon de granda tondro; kaj la voĉo, kiun mi aŭdis, estis kiel de harpistoj, harpantaj per siaj harpoj; 3kaj ili kantas kvazaŭ novan kanton antaŭ la trono kaj antaŭ la kvar kreitaĵoj kaj la presbiteroj; kaj neniu povis lerni la kanton krom la cent kvardek kvar miloj, la elaĉetitoj el la tero. 4Ili estas tiuj, kiuj ne malpuriĝis kun virinoj; ĉar ili estas virguloj. Ili estas la sekvantoj de la Ŝafido, kien ajn li iras. Ili estas elaĉetitaj el inter la homoj, la unuaaĵo al Dio kaj al la Ŝafido. 5Kaj en ilia buŝo ne troviĝis mensogo; ili estas senkulpaj. 6Kaj mi vidis alian anĝelon, flugantan en meza ĉielo, havantan eternan evangelion, por evangelii la loĝantojn de la tero kaj ĉiun nacion kaj tribon kaj lingvon kaj popolon, 7kaj dirantan per granda voĉo: Timu Dion, kaj donu al Li gloron, ĉar venis la horo de Lia juĝo; kaj adorkliniĝu al la Kreinto de la ĉielo kaj la tero kaj la maro kaj la fontoj akvaj. 8Kaj alia anĝelo, dua, sekvis, dirante: Falis, falis Babel la granda, kiu trinkigis ĉiujn naciojn el la vino de la kolero de ŝia malĉastaĵo. 9Kaj alia anĝelo, tria, sekvis ilin, dirante per granda voĉo: Se iu adorkliniĝas al la besto kaj al ĝia bildo, kaj ricevas markon sur sia frunto aŭ sur sia mano, 10tiu ankaŭ trinkos el la vino de la kolero de Dio, kiu estas pretigita nemiksite en la pokalo de Lia kolero, kaj li turmentiĝos en fajro kaj sulfuro antaŭ la sanktaj anĝeloj kaj antaŭ la Ŝafido; 11kaj la fumo de ilia turmento leviĝas por ĉiam kaj eterne; kaj ne havas paŭzon tage kaj nokte tiuj, kiuj adorkliniĝas al la besto kaj al ĝia bildo, kaj ĉiu, kiu ricevas la markon de ĝia nomo. 12Ĉi tie estas la pacienco de la sanktuloj, kiuj observas la ordonojn de Dio kaj la fidon de Jesuo. 13Kaj mi aŭdis voĉon el la ĉielo, dirantan: Skribu: Feliĉaj estas la mortintoj, kiuj de nun mortas en la Sinjoro; vere, diras la Spirito, por ke ili ripozu de siaj laboroj; ĉar iliaj faroj sekvas kun ili. 14Kaj mi rigardis, kaj jen blanka nubo, kaj sur la nubo sidanto, simila al la Filo de homo, havanta sur sia kapo oran kronon, kaj en sia mano akran rikoltilon. 15Kaj alia anĝelo eliris el la templo, kriante per granda voĉo al la sidanta sur la nubo: Sendu vian rikoltilon, kaj rikoltu; ĉar venis la horo por rikolti, ĉar la rikolto de la tero tromaturiĝis. 16Kaj la sidanta sur la nubo ĵetis sian rikoltilon sur la teron; kaj la tero rikoltiĝis. 17Kaj alia anĝelo eliris el la enĉiela templo, ankaŭ havante akran rikoltilon. 18Kaj alia anĝelo eliris el la altaro, havante aŭtoritaton super la fajro; kaj li kriis per granda voĉo al la portanto de la akra rikoltilo, dirante: Sendu vian akran rikoltilon, kaj detranĉu la vinberarojn de la vinberarbo de la tero; ĉar tute maturiĝis ĝiaj vinberoj. 19Kaj la anĝelo ĵetis sian rikoltilon en la teron kaj detranĉis la vinberarbon de la tero kaj ĵetis ĝin en la grandan vinpremilon de la kolero de Dio. 20Kaj la vinpremilo estis tretita ekster la urbo, kaj eliris sango el la vinpremilo, ĝis la bridoj de la ĉevaloj, en la spaco de mil sescent stadioj.
1I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with him a number, one hundred forty-four thousand, having his name, and the name of his Father, written on their foreheads. 2I heard a sound from heaven, like the sound of many waters, and like the sound of a great thunder. The sound which I heard was like that of harpists playing on their harps. 3They sing a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the one hundred forty-four thousand, those who had been redeemed out of the earth. 4These are those who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are those who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed by Jesus from among men, the first fruits to God and to the Lamb. 5In their mouth was found no lie, for they are blameless. 6I saw an angel flying in mid heaven, having an eternal Good News to proclaim to those who dwell on the earth, and to every nation, tribe, language, and people. 7He said with a loud voice, “Fear the Lord, and give him glory; for the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and the springs of waters!” 8Another, a second angel, followed, saying, “Babylon the great has fallen, which has made all the nations to drink of the wine of the wrath of her sexual immorality.” 9Another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a great voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead, or on his hand, 10he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is prepared unmixed in the cup of his anger. He will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb. 11The smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever. They have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name. 12Here is the patience of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” 13I heard the voice from heaven saying, “Write, ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors; for their works follow with them.” 14I looked, and behold, a white cloud; and on the cloud one sitting like a son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. 15Another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud, “Send your sickle, and reap; for the hour to reap has come; for the harvest of the earth is ripe!” 16He who sat on the cloud thrust his sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped. 17Another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven. He also had a sharp sickle. 18Another angel came out from the altar, he who has power over fire, and he called with a great voice to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, “Send your sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for the earth’s grapes are fully ripe!” 19The angel thrust his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vintage of the earth, and threw it into the great wine press of the wrath of God. 20The wine press was trodden outside of the city, and blood came out of the wine press, even to the bridles of the horses, as far as one thousand six hundred stadia.

En ik hoorde een stem van citerspelers, spelende op hun citers; 3En zij zongen als een nieuw gezang voor den troon, en voor de vier dieren, en de ouderlingen; en niemand kon dat gezang leren, dan de honderd vier en veertig duizend, die van de aarde gekocht waren. 4Dezen zijn het, die met vrouwen niet bevlekt zijn, want zij zijn maagden; dezen zijn het, die het Lam volgen, waar Het ook heengaat; dezen zijn gekocht uit de mensen, tot eerstelingen Gode en het Lam. 5En in hun mond is geen bedrog gevonden; want zij zijn onberispelijk voor den troon van God. 6En ik zag een anderen engel, vliegende in het midden des hemels, en hij had het eeuwige Evangelie, om te verkondigen dengenen, die op de aarde wonen, en aan alle natie, en geslacht, en taal, en volk; 7Zeggende met een grote stem: Vreest God, en geeft Hem heerlijkheid, want de ure Zijns oordeels is gekomen; en aanbidt Hem, Die den hemel, en de aarde, en de zee, en de fonteinen der wateren gemaakt heeft. 8En er is een andere engel gevolgd, zeggende: Zij is gevallen, zij is gevallen, Babylon, die grote stad, omdat zij uit den wijn des toorns harer hoererij alle volken heeft gedrenkt. 9En een derde engel is hen gevolgd, zeggende met een grote stem: Indien iemand het beest aanbidt en zijn beeld, en ontvangt het merkteken aan zijn voorhoofd, of aan zijn hand, 10Die zal ook drinken uit den wijn des toorn Gods, die ongemengd ingeschonken is, in den drinkbeker Zijns toorns; en hij zal gepijnigd worden met vuur en sulfer voor de heilige engelen en voor het Lam. 11En de rook van hun pijniging gaat op in alle eeuwigheid, en zij hebben geen rust dag en nacht, die het beest aanbidden en zijn beeld, en zo iemand het merkteken zijns naams ontvangt. 12Hier is de lijdzaamheid der heiligen; hier zijn zij, die de geboden Gods bewaren en het geloof van Jezus. 13En ik hoorde een stem uit den hemel, die tot mij zeide: Schrijf, zalig zijn de doden, die in den Heere sterven, van nu aan. Ja, zegt de Geest, opdat zij rusten mogen van hun arbeid; en hun werken volgen met hen. 14En ik zag, en ziet, een witte wolk, en op de wolk was Een gezeten, des mensen Zoon gelijk, hebbende op Zijn hoofd een gouden kroon; en in Zijn hand een scherpe sikkel. 15En een andere engel kwam uit den tempel, roepende met een grote stem tot Dengene, Die op de wolk zat: Zend Uw sikkel en maai; want de ure om te maaien is nu gekomen, dewijl de oogst der aarde rijp is geworden. 16En Die op de wolk zat, zond Zijn sikkel op de aarde, en de aarde werd gemaaid. 17En een andere engel kwam uit den tempel, die in den hemel is, hebbende ook zelf een scherpe sikkel. 18En een andere engel kwam uit van het altaar, die macht had over het vuur; en hij riep met een groot geroep, tot dengene, die de scherpe sikkel had, zeggende: Zend uw scherpe sikkel, en snijd af de druiftakken van den wijngaard der aarde, want zijn druiven zijn rijp. 19En de engel zond zijn sikkel op de aarde en sneed de druiven af van den wijngaard der aarde, en wierp ze in den groten wijnpersbak des toorns Gods. 20En de wijnpersbak werd buiten de stad getreden, en er is bloed uit den wijnpersbak gekomen, tot aan de tomen der paarden, duizend zeshonderd stadien ver.
