1Kaj la Eternulo ekparolis al Moseo, dirante: 2Parolu al Aaron, kaj diru al li: Kiam vi ekbruligos la lucernojn, tiam sur la antaŭan flankon de la kandelabro lumu la sep lucernoj. 3Kaj Aaron tiel faris; sur la antaŭan flankon de la kandelabro li lumigis la lucernojn, kiel la Eternulo ordonis al Moseo. 4Kaj jen estas la aranĝo de la kandelabro: forĝita el oro, de ĝia trunko ĝis ĝiaj floroj, forĝita ĝi estis; laŭ la modelo, kiun montris la Eternulo al Moseo, tiel li faris la kandelabron. 5Kaj la Eternulo ekparolis al Moseo, dirante: 6Prenu la Levidojn el inter la Izraelidoj kaj purigu ilin. 7Kaj tiel agu kun ili, por purigi ilin: aspergu ilin per akvo propeka, kaj ili prirazu sian tutan korpon kaj lavu siajn vestojn kaj purigu sin. 8Kaj ili prenu bovidon kaj al ĝi farunoferon, delikatan farunon, miksitan kun oleo, kaj duan bovidon prenu por pekofero. 9Kaj venigu la Levidojn antaŭ la tabernaklon de kunveno, kaj kunvenigu la tutan komunumon de la Izraelidoj. 10Kaj alvenigu la Levidojn antaŭ la Eternulon, kaj la Izraelidoj metu siajn manojn sur la Levidojn. 11Kaj Aaron faru super la Levidoj skuon antaŭ la Eternulo en la nomo de la Izraelidoj, por ke ili komencu fari la servon al la Eternulo. 12Kaj la Levidoj metu siajn manojn sur la kapojn de la bovidoj, kaj faru el unu pekoferon kaj el la dua bruloferon al la Eternulo, por pekliberigi la Levidojn. 13Kaj starigu la Levidojn antaŭ Aaron kaj antaŭ liaj filoj, kaj faru super ili skuon antaŭ la Eternulo. 14Kaj tiel apartigu la Levidojn el inter la Izraelidoj, kaj la Levidoj apartenu al Mi. 15Kaj post tio la Levidoj eniros, por servi en la tabernaklo de kunveno, kiam vi estos puriginta ilin kaj plenuminta super ili la skuon. 16Ĉar ili estas fordonitaj al Mi el inter la Izraelidoj; anstataŭ ĉiuj utermalfermintoj unuenaskitoj el ĉiuj Izraelidoj Mi prenis ilin por Mi. 17Ĉar al Mi apartenas ĉiuj unuenaskitoj de la Izraelidoj, el la homoj kaj el la brutoj; en la tago, en kiu Mi batis ĉiujn unuenaskitojn en la lando Egipta, Mi sanktigis ilin por Mi. 18Kaj Mi prenis la Levidojn anstataŭ ĉiuj unuenaskitoj inter la Izraelidoj. 19Kaj Mi fordonis la Levidojn al Aaron kaj al liaj filoj el inter la Izraelidoj, por ke ili faru servon pro la Izraelidoj en la tabernaklo de kunveno kaj por pekliberigi la Izraelidojn; por ke ne trafu la Izraelidojn frapo, se la Izraelidoj alproksimiĝus al la sanktejo. 20Kaj Moseo kaj Aaron kaj la tuta komunumo de la Izraelidoj agis kun la Levidoj konforme al ĉio, kion la Eternulo ordonis al Moseo pri la Levidoj; tiel agis kun ili la Izraelidoj. 21Kaj la Levidoj sin purigis kaj lavis siajn vestojn, kaj Aaron faris super ili skuon antaŭ la Eternulo, kaj Aaron pekliberigis ilin, por purigi ilin. 22Kaj post tio la Levidoj eniris, por plenumi sian servon en la tabernaklo de kunveno antaŭ Aaron kaj antaŭ liaj filoj; kiel la Eternulo ordonis al Moseo pri la Levidoj, tiel oni agis kun ili. 23Kaj la Eternulo ekparolis al Moseo, dirante: 24Jen estas, kio koncernas la Levidojn: de la aĝo de dudek kvin jaroj kaj pli ili devas eniri en sian oficon pri la servado en la tabernaklo de kunveno. 25Kaj de la aĝo de kvindek jaroj ili retiriĝos el la ofico de la servado kaj ne servos plu. 26Tiam ili servos siajn fratojn en la tabernaklo de kunveno, plenumante gardadon, sed ne farante servadon. Tiel agu kun la Levidoj koncerne ilian oficon.

1Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 2“Speak to Aaron, and tell him, ‘When you light the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light in front of the lamp stand.’” 3Aaron did so. He lit its lamps to light the area in front of the lamp stand, as Yahweh commanded Moses. 4This was the workmanship of the lamp stand, beaten work of gold. From its base to its flowers, it was beaten work: according to the pattern which Yahweh had shown Moses, so he made the lamp stand. 5Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 6“Take the Levites from among the children of Israel, and cleanse them. 7You shall do this to them, to cleanse them: sprinkle the water of cleansing on them, let them shave their whole bodies with a razor, and let them wash their clothes, and cleanse themselves. 8Then let them take a young bull, and its meal offering, fine flour mixed with oil; and another young bull you shall take for a sin offering. 9You shall present the Levites before the Tent of Meeting. You shall assemble the whole congregation of the children of Israel. 10You shall present the Levites before Yahweh. The children of Israel shall lay their hands on the Levites, 11and Aaron shall offer the Levites before Yahweh for a wave offering, on the behalf of the children of Israel, that it may be theirs to do the service of Yahweh. 12“The Levites shall lay their hands on the heads of the bulls, and you shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering to Yahweh, to make atonement for the Levites. 13You shall set the Levites before Aaron, and before his sons, and offer them as a wave offering to Yahweh. 14Thus you shall separate the Levites from among the children of Israel, and the Levites shall be mine. 15“After that, the Levites shall go in to do the service of the Tent of Meeting: and you shall cleanse them, and offer them as a wave offering. 16For they are wholly given to me from among the children of Israel; instead of all who open the womb, even the firstborn of all the children of Israel, I have taken them to me. 17For all the firstborn among the children of Israel are mine, both man and animal. On the day that I struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, I sanctified them for myself. 18I have taken the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel. 19I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the Tent of Meeting, and to make atonement for the children of Israel; that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come near to the sanctuary.” 20Moses, and Aaron, and all the congregation of the children of Israel did so to the Levites. According to all that Yahweh commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so the children of Israel did to them. 21The Levites purified themselves from sin, and they washed their clothes; and Aaron offered them for a wave offering before Yahweh; and Aaron made atonement for them to cleanse them. 22After that, the Levites went in to do their service in the Tent of Meeting before Aaron, and before his sons: as Yahweh had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so they did to them. 23Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 24“This is that which belongs to the Levites: from twenty-five years old and upward they shall go in to wait on the service in the work of the Tent of Meeting; 25and from the age of fifty years they shall cease waiting on the work, and shall serve no more, 26but shall minister with their brothers in the Tent of Meeting, to perform the duty, and shall do no service. You shall do thus to the Levites concerning their duties.”

1En de HEERE sprak tot Mozes, zeggende: 2Spreek tot Aaron, en zeg tot hem: Als gij de lampen aansteken zult, recht tegenover den kandelaar zullen de zeven lampen lichten. 3En Aaron deed alzo: tegenover vooraan den kandelaar stak hij deszelfs lampen aan; 4Dit werk nu des kandelaars was van dicht goud, tot zijn schacht, tot zijn bloemen was het dicht; naar de gedaante, die de HEERE Mozes vertoond had, alzo had hij den kandelaar gemaakt. 5En de HEERE sprak tot Mozes, zeggende: 6Neem de Levieten uit het midden van de kinderen Israels, en reinig hen. 7En aldus zult gij hun doen, om hen te reinigen: spreng op hen water der ontzondiging; en zij zullen het scheermes over hun ganse vlees doen gaan, en zij zullen hun klederen wassen, en zich reinigen. 8Daarna zullen zij nemen een var, een jong rund, met zijn spijsoffer van meelbloem, met olie gemengd; en een anderen var, een jong rund, zult gij nemen ten zondoffer. 9En gij zult de Levieten voor de tent der samenkomst doen naderen; en gij zult de gehele vergadering der kinderen Israels doen verzamelen. 10Ja, gij zult de Levieten voor het aangezicht des HEEREN doen naderen; en de kinderen Israels zullen hun handen op de Levieten leggen. 11En Aaron zal de Levieten bewegen ten beweegoffer voor het aangezicht des HEEREN, vanwege de kinderen Israels; opdat zij zijn, om den dienst des HEEREN te bedienen. 12En de Levieten zullen hun handen op het hoofd der varren leggen; daarna bereidt gij een ten zondoffer, en een ten brandoffer den HEERE, om over de Levieten verzoening te doen. 13En gij zult de Levieten stellen voor het aangezicht van Aaron, en voor het aangezicht van zijn zonen, en gij zult hen bewegen ten beweegoffer den HEERE. 14En gij zult de Levieten uit het midden van de kinderen Israels uitscheiden, opdat de Levieten Mijn zijn. 15En daarna zullen de Levieten inkomen, om de tent der samenkomst te bedienen; en gij zult hen reinigen, en zult hen ten beweegoffer bewegen. 16Want zij zijn gegeven, zij zijn Mij gegeven uit het midden van de kinderen Israels; voor de opening van alle baarmoeder, voor de eerstgeborenen van een ieder uit de kinderen Israels, heb Ik ze Mij genomen. 17Want alle eerstgeborene onder de kinderen Israels is Mijn, onder de mensen en onder de beesten; ten dage dat Ik alle eerstgeboorte in Egypteland sloeg, heb Ik dezelve Mij geheiligd. 18En Ik heb de Levieten genomen voor alle eerstgeborenen onder de kinderen Israels. 19En Ik heb de Levieten aan Aaron en aan zijn zonen tot een gift gegeven, uit het midden van de kinderen Israels, om den dienst van de kinderen Israels in de tent der samenkomst te bedienen, en om voor de kinderen Israels verzoening te doen, dat er geen plage zij onder de kinderen Israels, als de kinderen Israels tot het heiligdom naderen zouden. 20En Mozes deed, en Aaron, en de ganse vergadering der kinderen Israels, aan de Levieten, naar alles, wat de HEERE Mozes geboden had van de Levieten, zo deden de kinderen Israels aan hen. 21En de Levieten ontzondigden zich, en wiesen hun klederen, en Aaron bewoog hen ten beweegoffer voor het aangezicht des HEEREN; en Aaron deed verzoening over hen, om hen te reinigen. 22En daarna kwamen de Levieten, om hun dienst te bedienen in de tent der samenkomst, voor het aangezicht van Aaron, en voor het aangezicht zijner zonen; gelijk als de HEERE Mozes van de Levieten geboden had, alzo deden zij aan hen. 23En de HEERE sprak tot Mozes, zeggende: 24Dit is het, wat de Levieten aangaat: van vijf en twintig jaren oud en daarboven, zullen zij inkomen, om den strijd te strijden, in den dienst van de tent der samenkomst. 25Maar van dat hij vijftig jaren oud is, zal hij van den strijd van dezen dienst afgaan, en hij zal niet meer dienen. 26Doch hij zal met zijn broederen dienen in de tent der samenkomst, om de wacht waar te nemen; maar den dienst zal hij niet bedienen. Alzo zult gij aan de Levieten doen in hun wachten.
