1Tion Jesuo parolis; kaj levinte la okulojn al la ĉielo, li diris: Patro, la horo venis; gloru Vian Filon, por ke la Filo Vin gloru; 2kiel Vi donis al li aŭtoritaton super ĉiu karno, por ke li donu eternan vivon al ĉiuj tiuj, kiujn Vi donis al li. 3Kaj jen estas la eterna vivo, ke ili konu Vin, la sole veran Dion, kaj tiun, kiun Vi sendis, Jesuon Kriston. 4Mi gloris Vin sur la tero, plenuminte la faron, kiun Vi donis al mi por fari. 5Kaj nun, ho Patro, gloru min kun Vi, per la gloro, kiun mi havis kun Vi, antaŭ ol la mondo ekzistis. 6Mi elmontris Vian nomon al la homoj, kiujn Vi donis al mi el la mondo; Viaj ili estis, kaj al mi Vi ilin donis; kaj ili konservis Vian vorton. 7Nun ili scias, ke ĉio ajn, kion Vi donis al mi, estas de Vi; 8ĉar mi donis al ili la vortojn, kiujn Vi donis al mi; kaj ili akceptis ilin, kaj scias vere, ke mi elvenis de Vi; kaj ili kredas, ke Vi min sendis. 9Mi preĝas por ili; mi preĝas ne por la mondo, sed por tiuj, kiujn Vi donis al mi, ĉar ili estas Viaj; 10kaj ĉio mia estas Via, kaj Via estas mia; kaj mi estas glorita per ili. 11Mi jam ne estas en la mondo, kaj ĉi tiuj estas en la mondo, kaj mi venas al Vi. Patro Sankta, gardu en Via nomo tiujn, kiujn Vi donis al mi, por ke ili estu unu tiel same, kiel ni. 12Dum mi estis kun ili, mi konservis en Via nomo tiujn, kiujn Vi donis al mi; kaj mi gardis ilin, kaj neniu el ili pereis, krom la filo de perdiĝo, por ke plenumiĝu la Skribo. 13Sed nun mi venas al Vi; kaj tion mi parolas en la mondo, por ke ili havu mian ĝojon ĝis pleneco en si mem. 14Mi donis al ili Vian vorton; kaj la mondo malamis ilin, ĉar ili ne estas el la mondo, kiel mi ne estas el la mondo. 15Mi petas, ne ke Vi forigu ilin el la mondo, sed ke Vi gardu ilin kontraŭ la malbono. 16Ili ne estas el la mondo, kiel mi ne estas el la mondo. 17Konsekru ilin en la vero; Via vorto estas vero. 18Kiel Vi min sendis en la mondon, tiel ankaŭ mi ilin sendis en la mondon. 19Kaj por ili mi konsekras min, por ke ili mem ankaŭ estu konsekritaj en la vero. 20Kaj mi preĝas ne nur por ili, sed ankaŭ por tiuj, kiuj kredos al mi pro ilia vorto; 21por ke ili ĉiuj estu unu; kiel Vi, Patro, estas en mi, kaj mi en Vi, tiel ili ankaŭ estu en ni; por ke la mondo kredu, ke Vi min sendis. 22Kaj la gloron, kiun Vi donis al mi, mi donis al ili; por ke ili estu unu tiel same, kiel ni estas unu; 23mi en ili, kaj Vi en mi, por ke ili perfektiĝu en unu; por ke la mondo sciu, ke Vi min sendis, kaj ke Vi ilin amis, kiel Vi min amis. 24Patro, pri tiuj, kiujn Vi donis al mi, mi volas, ke ili ankaŭ estu kun mi tie, kie mi estas; por ke ili vidu mian gloron, kiun Vi donis al mi; ĉar Vi amis min antaŭ la fondo de la mondo. 25Ho Patro justa, la mondo Vin ne konis, tamen mi Vin konis; kaj ĉi tiuj scias, ke Vi min sendis; 26kaj al ili Vian nomon mi konigis kaj ankoraŭ konigos, por ke la amo, per kiu Vi amis min, estu en ili, kaj mi en ili.

1Jesus said these things, and lifting up his eyes to heaven, he said, “Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may also glorify you; 2even as you gave him authority over all flesh, he will give eternal life to all whom you have given him. 3This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ. 4I glorified you on the earth. I have accomplished the work which you have given me to do. 5Now, Father, glorify me with your own self with the glory which I had with you before the world existed. 6I revealed your name to the people whom you have given me out of the world. They were yours, and you have given them to me. They have kept your word. 7Now they have known that all things whatever you have given me are from you, 8for the words which you have given me I have given to them, and they received them, and knew for sure that I came from you, and they have believed that you sent me. 9I pray for them. I don’t pray for the world, but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours. 10All things that are mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I am glorified in them. 11I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them through your name which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are. 12While I was with them in the world, I kept them in your name. Those whom you have given me I have kept. None of them is lost, except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. 13But now I come to you, and I say these things in the world, that they may have my joy made full in themselves. 14I have given them your word. The world hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 15I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one. 16They are not of the world even as I am not of the world. 17Sanctify them in your truth. Your word is truth. 18As you sent me into the world, even so I have sent them into the world. 19For their sakes I sanctify myself, that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth. 20Not for these only do I pray, but for those also who believe in me through their word, 21that they may all be one; even as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that you sent me. 22The glory which you have given me, I have given to them; that they may be one, even as we are one; 23I in them, and you in me, that they may be perfected into one; that the world may know that you sent me, and loved them, even as you loved me. 24Father, I desire that they also whom you have given me be with me where I am, that they may see my glory, which you have given me, for you loved me before the foundation of the world. 25Righteous Father, the world hasn’t known you, but I knew you; and these knew that you sent me. 26I made known to them your name, and will make it known; that the love with which you loved me may be in them, and I in them.”

1Dit heeft Jezus gesproken, en Hij hief Zijn ogen op naar den hemel, en zeide: Vader, de ure is gekomen, verheerlijk Uw Zoon, opdat ook Uw Zoon U verheerlijke. 2Gelijkerwijs Gij Hem macht gegeven hebt over alle vlees, opdat al wat Gij Hem gegeven hebt, Hij hun het eeuwige leven geve. 3En dit is het eeuwige leven, dat zij U kennen, den enigen waarachtigen God, en Jezus Christus, Dien Gij gezonden hebt. 4Ik heb U verheerlijkt op de aarde; Ik heb voleindigd het werk, dat Gij Mij gegeven hebt om te doen; 5En nu verheerlijk Mij, Gij Vader, bij Uzelven, met de heerlijkheid, die Ik bij U had, eer de wereld was. 6Ik heb Uw Naam geopenbaard den mensen, die Gij Mij uit de wereld gegeven hebt. Zij waren Uw, en Gij hebt Mij dezelve gegeven; en zij hebben Uw woord bewaard. 7Nu hebben zij bekend, dat alles, wat Gij Mij gegeven hebt, van U is. 8Want de woorden, die Gij Mij gegeven hebt, heb Ik hun gegeven, en zij hebben ze ontvangen, en zij hebben waarlijk bekend, dat Ik van U uitgegaan ben, en hebben geloofd, dat Gij Mij gezonden hebt. 9Ik bid voor hen; Ik bid niet voor de wereld, maar voor degenen, die Gij Mij gegeven hebt, want zij zijn Uw. 10En al het Mijne is Uw, en het Uwe is Mijn; en Ik ben in hen verheerlijkt. 11En Ik ben niet meer in de wereld, maar deze zijn in de wereld, en Ik kome tot U, Heilige Vader, bewaar ze in Uw Naam, die Gij Mij gegeven hebt, opdat zij een zijn, gelijk als Wij. 12Toen Ik met hen in de wereld was, bewaarde Ik ze in Uw Naam. Die Gij Mij gegeven hebt, heb Ik bewaard, en niemand uit hen is verloren gegaan, dan de zoon der verderfenis, opdat de Schrift vervuld worde. 13Maar nu kom Ik tot U, en spreek dit in de wereld, opdat zij Mijn blijdschap vervuld mogen hebben in zichzelven. 14Ik heb hun Uw woord gegeven; en de wereld heeft ze gehaat, omdat zij van de wereld niet zijn, gelijk als Ik van de wereld niet ben. 15Ik bid niet, dat Gij hen uit de wereld wegneemt, maar dat Gij hen bewaart van den boze. 16Zij zijn niet van de wereld, gelijkerwijs Ik van de wereld niet ben. 17Heilig ze in Uw waarheid; Uw woord is de waarheid. 18Gelijkerwijs Gij Mij gezonden hebt in de wereld, alzo heb Ik hen ook in de wereld gezonden. 19En Ik heilige Mijzelven voor hen, opdat ook zij geheiligd mogen zijn in waarheid. 20En Ik bid niet alleen voor dezen, maar ook voor degenen, die door hun woord in Mij geloven zullen. 21Opdat zij allen een zijn, gelijkerwijs Gij, Vader, in Mij, en Ik in U, dat ook zij in Ons een zijn; opdat de wereld gelove, dat Gij Mij gezonden hebt. 22En Ik heb hun de heerlijkheid gegeven, die Gij Mij gegeven hebt; opdat zij een zijn, gelijk als Wij Een zijn; 23Ik in hen, en Gij in Mij; opdat zij volmaakt zijn in een, en opdat de wereld bekenne, dat Gij Mij gezonden hebt, en hen liefgehad hebt, gelijk Gij Mij liefgehad hebt. 24Vader, Ik wil, dat waar Ik ben, ook die bij Mij zijn, die Gij Mij gegeven hebt; opdat zij Mijn heerlijkheid mogen aanschouwen, die Gij Mij gegeven hebt; want Gij hebt Mij liefgehad, voor de grondlegging der wereld. 25Rechtvaardige Vader, de wereld heeft U niet gekend; maar Ik heb U gekend, en dezen hebben bekend, dat Gij Mij gezonden hebt. 26En Ik heb hun Uw Naam bekend gemaakt, en zal Hem bekend maken; opdat de liefde, waarmede Gij Mij liefgehad hebt, in hen zij, en Ik in hen.
